  • Reservation/dependent requirements Table

    Hello,
Does 2LIS_04_P_COMP data source uses RESB table in the back ground for extracting Work Order and related components?.
Please let me know whether this extractor uses RESB or other tables.
    - Ganga

    Hi Ravi,
I have used the transaction code RSA2 to look at the tables. it looks like it is not pulling the data from RESB table for this extractor 2LIS_04_P_COMP.
Any idea, what extractor should be used to pull the data from RESB table?.
Your help will be really appreciated. Pls let me know.

  • Dependent requirements deletion

    Hello everybody,
Do you know if there is a way to delete (old) dependent requirements (table RESB)?
Because, as the number range has recently reached its top limit, we encounter now some problem of "duplicate entry" with the MRP Run...
Thanks in advance for your help.
    Regards,
    Rudy

    Hi Rudy,
As you properly wrote dependent requirements come from planned order, from higher level; the planned order is the source of them.
If you want to get rid of the dependent requirement, you have to eliminate the source (you cannot modify the DepReq directly). If the DepReq is old, the PldOrd should be also old...
(This is very similar to PrdOrd and OrdRes: OrdRes comes from PrdOrd and you cannot modify OrdRes manually; if you close the PrdOrd, OrdRes "disappears" automatically)
Maybe your problem is that the planned order does not exist and still SAP displays the DepReq and calculates with it. In this case you should search for suitable OSS note and if no result you can contact the softwer producer...

  • Table for dependent requirements

    Hi Experts,
When we convert a planned order of a FG in the MD04 screen, is there a way that production orders for dependent requirements also get created for the inhouse produced materials? In which table can I find a link between the order of FG to the order of SFG?
    Regards,
    Sachin

    Hi,
Are you woking Collective Orders ?
If you're not, then there is no link between the FG SFO & SFG SFO. But you can refer to the table RESB & in that the field BAUGR will give the pegged material info for a particular material - order combination.

  • Dependent Requirements report required

    Hi All
I'm searching for transaction which will generate a report with total of dependent requirements for a given FG material list:
Do you know if there are such type of transactions in SAP?
    Kind Regards
    Andrey

    Hello!
We had the same problem, and our solution was making this report in ABAB. In ABAB you can call structure MDEZ and filter it by "MRP element"= DepReq.
Other solution, rather temporary, is report based on table RESB (using e.g. transaction se16/se16n, SQVI, or ABAB). In that table field BDART='SB' means requirements coming from DepReq. The problem is, that RESB table can be huge, and searching in that way can take a lot of time.

  • How to Find dependent requirements generated for a period

Pegged Requirements for the PR's Generated after MRP Run

    Hi Archie,
We can find out the list of dependent requirements from RESB table.
We can pass the pegged requirements in RESB and fetch the dependent requirements and purchase requistions created for the same.
The Planned orders within a particular period can be fetched through table PLAF and the same can be given in RESB and fetch dependent and purchase requisitions.
If you feel my answer is clear and useful, kindly award me with points.

  • Strategy for dependent requirements.

    Hi Experts,
    I am working in a MTS scenario,where 'X' is the Header Material & 'Y' its Assembly(with small sub-assemblies inside).
Now 'X' is produced on order as well as some std.ratings forecasted.Basically strategy '40' (Planning with final assembly).
Assembly 'Y' is produced for stock(in anticipation of incomind orders for 'X') as well as sold.
Planning is done basically for 'X' as well as 'Y' in the PIR Planning table.
My question is :Header material 'X' is given strategy '40'.What about 'Y' ? since it is also being sold & kept in stock for 'Y'.
My concern is when i plan individually  for 'Y' its dependent requirements should get generated.
So what should be the startegy for 'Y'.
    Please advise.
    Points assured.
    Best Regards
    Afroz

Usually in this scenario we use strategy 70 for Y
What is the advantage of 70 is,
You can plan 70 weel in advance, example- let us say you planned 100 TO for Y, Run MRP and start producing Y,
Now let us say there is any dependent requirement from X, let us say 75 TO, then  the PIR will be come 100-75 ie 25 TO. Hence you have
    PIR = 25 TO
    Dep req from X = 75 To
Total requirement still is still 100 TO.
coam back if you need more help

  • Requeirements to test Dependency Maintenance Tables

    Hi there,
we want to try out the possibility to use Dependency Maintenance Tables for Variant Configuration.
We're on EHP6 and the relevant business functions are activated.
Are there any other requirements which have to be complied to use / test these function?
Where can I find this tool (e.g. transaction code)?
Any help would be greatly appreciated

    Hallo Bernd,
the dependency maintenance tables are part of the PLM Web UI, Product Structure Management. You want to maintain selection conditions for specific options/variants of a product, correct?
You probably need to enable one of the related roles to get the SAP menu options displayed.
Business Package for PLM Web User Interface 7.02 - SAP Library
Once you have that, you need to have a Product Structure model in place in order to be able to maintain your object dependencies via the dependency maintenance table.

  • EEWB Extension deletion " Field changes can require table conversion"

    Hi
Wihile iam trying to delete extensions in EEWB (created in  a transaction ) it is giving me the below error
Field changes can require table conversion
    Message no. OXT_MISC328
    Diagnosis
Not all databases permit deletion of fields in existing tables. Deletion may be required when making changes. In this case, the table must be converted, and then it has the status Partially active. The extension is otherwise flagged as having errors.
    Procedure
Take the tables that are to be converted from the log. Use the database utility to make the conversion. Conversion may require a lot of time and resources. Then repeat the transaction in the Easy Enhancement that led to this message.
The Request which contains the extension has already been transported  can any help me out in this
Edited by: Nanda Kishore on Sep 2, 2009 8:16 AM

    Hi Kishore,
Go to Database Utility (SE14) --> select the table names from you log and (in next screen) press button Activate & Adjust database and check that the Status becomes Active. Depending on the size of table , might take some minutes to activate this table.

  • Dependent requirements for Top level materials planned in MRP

    Hey Gurus,
A top level material 20350 has a component 30397 and both of these materials are planned in APO.  We have another top level material 30399 (but this material is planned in MRP) and the component 30397 (is planned in APO) will the dependent requirements from material 30399 be populated in APO for material 30397?
    Sincerely,
    Kris

    Kris
As Datta has mentioned the dependent demand will not reflect for the component material in APO. We had the same scenario as yours and this is what we did
We modified the Planned order integration model filter criteria by adding custom logic in the BAdI CIF_INT_MODEL. The logic was to query the BOM tables in R/3 and find out all parents that have SNP relevant materials as components and include these parents in the list of materials for which planned orders are to be CIF'ed from R/3 . The BAdI will be invoked when you run the IM generation .
You also have to CIF the BOM to APO . Once the PDS and planned orders are available in APO , the dependent demand will be created automatically. ( If you do not want to modify the BAdI then you can write a query and identify the parents and add them to the integration model manually)
    Thanks

  • RESB - Reservation/dependent requirements

    Hello
I am SAP BI consultant who needs to build an delta enable extractor out of table RESB - Reservation/dependent requirements
This table doesnt containt any doc creation or change date.
Where can I find material reservation creation or change dates? Any log for material resevation?
    Thanks

    Hi,
look in the logical database MMIMRKPFRESB.
The relevant tables are RKPF (Header), RESB (Position) and the regarding movement type (RKPF-BWART).
Does it help if you use the requirement date RESB-BDTER, or what additional information do you need?

  • Deletion of (simulative) dependent requirements.

    Hello,
I am trying to findout a BAPI (or function module) for the deletion of dependent requirements and also for simulative dependent requirements. Do you know if exists any?
Or maybe can you tell me if I can simply delete (by DELETE statement) entries from tables RESB (depend.reqts) and MDSM (simul.depend.rqts), without having a risk of inconsistencies in the databases?
Thanks in advance for your advice.
    Regards,
    Rudy

Finally, I found on another post that it is not possible to change/delete dependent requirements (or simulative requirements) by a normal transaction or a normal BAPI.
The dependent requirements do correspond to planned order and that's it...
So, if I want to get rid of some old dependent requirements, I have to get rid of their originating planned orders.
The same has to be applied for simulative requirements and simulative planned orders.
The BAPI I will use for planned order deletion is: BAPI_PLANNEDORDER_DELETE.
It works for normal planned orders and simulative ones too.
    Thanks anyway for your help.
    Regards,
    Rudy

  • RESB_BDAT="AR"  - dependent requirements

I'm analysing materials in table RESB and found one with BDART= "AR". I need to understand why this material has this type of requirement. What defines if a material will have the requirement type "reserve" (MR) or "dependent requirements" (AR)?
    Thank you in advenced.

    Dear,
Dependant requirements 'AR' (Automatic Reseration for order) material reservation created from planned order. You can see the details in MD04 transaction for the material.

  • Copy of Stimulated dependent requirement by MS66 in LTP

    Hi,
What are steps of copying stimulated dependent requirements by using MS66. When I am putting the planning scenarion and target version and execute , nothing is getting copied.
Can anybody explain the steps I m missing here?
    Regards
    Deepak Sharma

    Dear,
You can use MS64 to copy the source (simulative) version to a target (active ) version.
MS66 - it will copy the simulative dependent requirement to the PIR
Check whether your planning is active ot in test mode. If it is in test mode then activate this and give the target version.
Then run the MRP from MS02 and firmed the planned orders and try from MS66 to transfer this avtive planning MD04.
Or The alternate what go to MD61 for Raw material with the required "Requirment type".
In the table tab select the line item, use the menu: Edit->Copy requirements->Simulative dependent reqm.
Now you should get a popup screen, Populate the "Planning Scenario" referance and then click the tick mark. Now you simulative dependent requirement gets copied to "Demand Management". Donot forget to activate the "active" check box.
