Deplete Inventory in PM Module

I have a need to Manually deplete our inventory of spare parts maintained in the PM Module.
Can anyone point me in the right direction.
Thank you

hi
You can follow the normal procedure like reserving the material to the order and goods issue for the same. Are you facing problem in that
Or if the stock has already get posted to the cost center directly ,then you can create historical order specify the material and save .your cost will be captured in the order

Hello RAJARSHI BHATTACHERJEE
***please reward if this helps**
SAP Business One is an integrated enterprise resource planning (ERP) software owned by SAP AG that targets business software requirements of small and medium sized enterprises (SMEs).

• Sales Opportunities Module = where existing customers and potential amounts are structured tracking
• Sales Module = where orders are entered, shipped and invoiced
• Purchasing Module = where purchase orders are issued and goods received into inventory
• Business Partners Module = where Business Partners (customers, vendors, and leads) are contacted and maintained
• Banking Module = where cash is received and paid out
• Inventory Module = where Inventory is valued and managed
• Production Module = where bill of materials is defined and manufacturing is tracked
• MRP Module = where purchase and production planning takes place
• Service Module = where after-service products are managed
• Human Resources Module = where employee information is kept
• Reports Module = where user-defined reports are generated (as printouts or Excel files)
• E-commerce= allowing customers to buy and sell online to consumers or other businesses.

• Nexus 7009 does not show the N7K-F248XP-25 modules ethernet ports n sh run

Hi everyone,
I have a question...
I going to install two Nexus 7009 with three N7K-F248XP-25 modules on each one, I am planning to create 3 VDC, but at the initial configuration the system does not show the Ethernet ports of these modules, even with the show inventory and show module I can see that the modules are recognized and its status is OK. There is something that I have to do before start to configure these modules...? enable some feature or license in order to see the ports with show running CLI...?

You can enable F1, F2, M1, M1XL and M2XL Series modules. There are no restrictions on the type of mix allowed for the system module-type command. The system module-type command allows a mix of F1, F2, M1, M1XL, and M2XL Series modules in the VDC.
Note The limit-resource module-type command controls the restrictions on the module-types that can be mixed in the VDC.
Note Use the system module-type f2 command to allow F2E Series modules into a VDC. The ports from F2 and F2E Series modules can be allocated like any other ports.
Note The modules that you do not enable must not be powered on after you configure this feature and enter yes. An error message will force you to manually disable these modules before proceeding. This prevents major disruption and service issues within a VDC.
The no form of this command resets the configuration mode to allow all modules.
hope this helps

• SM-ES2-24 module ios problem

HI I was working with the SM-ES2-24 Module and found that the ios was corrupted. I uploaded the new ios and was trying to boot it from the new ios.During change the boot system command the command was accepted but during booting, there was an error. and the Module went through rommon mode.
I had no other choice but to use xmodem. during uploading the new image using xmodem the module hanged and I had to restarted the module.
After that I m not being able to upload the new image. Even im not getting the console of the SM-Es2-24 module.
Probably the flash is corrupted. the show inventory shows the Module but CDP neighbors shows no output.
Need a solution for this problem. Can any one please advice ????

• Reconciliation of Inventory with GL

Hi,
We have generated the report on year end inventory and when compared with the GL balances, we find the figures to be different. Is there a standard report avaialable that could enable us to find out the reasons and investigate further ? Or else how could we resolve this difference ?
Thnx.

Hello Raju,
MB5S, gives the report on GRIR balances and differences between the quantities received and invoiced. What the users desire is to have is a standard report or a work around solution to investiagae the difference between inventory in MM module and the balance in GL Account relating to the Recon Account meant for Inventory.
Thnks.

• How Oracle ASCP and Inventory are integrated ,what are the Integration poin

Hi All Gurus,
Can any one tell me..
How Oracle ASCP and Inventory are integrated ,what are the Integration point of these modules ...?
Thanks,
Satyam

Here is a simplistic explanation on the the integration.
When you launch data collection from the ASCP side, Oracle launches a Refresh Snapshot process that gathers the latest inventory (and other modules) information into Snapshots. Snapshots are like materialized views. Then the Planning Data Pull is launched. That process pulls information from these snapshots into the ASCP side.
The following inventory information comes over to ASCP
Item master data (such as order modifiers, planning exception sets etc. )
item categories
Onhand quantities (including consigned invetory quantities) in nettable locations
subinventories
reservations
safety stocks
forecasts
item planners
Quantity in receiving or in transit
Hope this answers your question

• Unable to update numbering schemes in define purchasing options

Hi,
We are unable to update the numbering scheme from manual to automatic in define purchasing options (Numbering Tab). Documentation says that you can update it, but it does not give any reason under what circumstances we would not be allowed to update the numbering schemes.
Thanks,
Ketul.

Hi Sandeep,
I am doing multi organisation implementation and only one ledger they do not require Inventory and Purchasing modules. Because of that i will not create any inventory organisation for that selected ledger.
This ledger will have seperate responsibility for AP.
Howver, my problem is when i am trying to complete the financial options, inventory organisation is mandatory for that responsability. Without inventory organisation i am unable to save the financial options.
Please assist me how to overcome this issue.
Thanks,

• Returned MacBook Pro, bought 24-inch iMac!

Hi all,
Those who have seen my recent posts (mostly in the MacBook Pro forum, but I did place one here too), will know that I have been having one or two problems moving up from my 1.9GHz G5 iMac. However, after quite a big reply to my recent post in this section of the forum, I have decided to return my MacBook Pro and go back to a desktop machine. Today (after having another play with it at the Apple Retail Store in Meadowhall, Sheffield), I was totally sold (and blown away by) the new 24-inch iMac.
I was standing there next to 24-inch iMac, MacBook Pro and MacBook (black and white versions), and even before I'd tried anything out, there was an add playing for the newly updated iPod Nano range on all the machines. I could not believe the display quality on the 24-inch iMac, it was amazing (and seemed even better than the 20" and 17" models that were next to it), when I turned to look at the MacBook Pro, it's display seemed lacking (even though it's still a lot brighter than the old PowerBook G4). Then, I started playing about with some applications, such as Logic. It was then that I saw that as much as I really wanted to be portable (and have a machine I could take around with me), the desktop machine was out perfoming the MBP substantially (thanks to the desktop machine having a 7200RPM drive (always good for music apps) and double the memory).
I turned to the assistant and said "I'll take one" (she then scared me by saying that she didn't know if she had any in stock, as it's become the store's most popular model in the last few weeks). I was lucky, they had one and I left the shop a very happy man indeed! I really cannot recommend the new 24-inch iMac enough. I've been using it at home for a few hours now and I have to say I wish I'd bought this in the first place...oh, and no stuck pixels and no strange humming noise from the display when you turn the brightness down...which I am also very very pleased about.
If you haven't checked out one of these wonderful new iMac's yet, you really owe it to yourself to do so as soon as possible!

I bought my 24" the night before the new iMac update. I even read the rumor mills of MacRumors and Appleinsider. So why did I buy it the night before? When I came home from work, my Vista machine which I always keep running 24/7 is frozen, so I rebooted and it crashed again on restart. That was the last straw that broke the camels back. I was just tired of all the wasted reboot, shutdown, and freeze problems that I could have saved with a Mac. The local Apple Store was out of the $799 mac minis which was probably a clue of an impending update, but MacRumors and AppleInsiders usually report depleted inventory in the past but didn't this time which got me thinking it won't happen. Oh well. I guess the $170 restocking fee is a biggie, but I guess I can refund the Applecare to cut the damage down.
Another option I'm thinking is to just return the iMac and get the $799 mini and be done with it. That makes eating the loss of $170 restock fee more digestible.
Third option is to call Support and ask for a refund of the difference. The 24" iMac in the refurb section of the site is listed as 28% off. So that would be nice to get such a big deduction.

Hi,
U can access the Sales Order rows using the DI only if its added to the system. U can use the DOCUMENT object and Document.Lines and access the row data. Please check the SDK help file for more information.
From SDK Help
Document_Lines is a child object of Documents object and represents the line entries of a document in the Marketing Documents and Receipts module and the Inventory and Production module.

• 10.7 to R11i On Solaris and Custom Interfaces

Hi,
We are planning to migrate from 10.7 to R11i on Solaris machine. We have developed custom interfaces with Oracle AP, AR and INV modules. We have GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Inventory and purchasing modules implemented. We would really appreciate your help on following:
1. How correct are sizing guidelines specified in R11i Installation manual?
2. Should we have database and application servers on same machine? If not what type of application server is recommended i.e. NT or Solaris. Any performance issues in either approach?
3. If we go for single node installations do we have to generate FMX files for custom forms under Solaris?
4. Is it recommended to have APPL_TOP on one disk or we can split on multiple disks.
5. Which browser is recommended i.e. Netscape Ver x.x or Internet Explorer x.x?
6. What sorts of problems were encountered for custom interfaces?
7. Our development server is supporting 10.7 but we are sure it cant handle R11i upgrade. Is it recommended to carry out upgrade on production machine or should have separate machine to carry out this project?
8. Any other upgrade issues relevant to R11i upgrade on Solaris?
We would appreciate if someone share the upgrade problems and experiences.
Thanks
null

Hello TheGlamazon
We know everyone is super exited about these amazing phones. As your order moves through the process, you can check the status at http://bit.ly/RjmCUB. You may not be able to see a change from Processing until it officially ships, then you'll see the tracking number. If you've received a confirmation email that your order was submitted, any additional information throughout the fulfillment process will be sent to that same email address. Congrats on your new phone!

• Error : You 're not permitted to perform this action - Absence Report

Dear all, I need some help here,
My user need to open "Inventory in Warehouse" report. Basically, he could open aforementioned report (parameter selection), but after he click "OK" button, SAP subsequently show error message as below
You 're not permitted to perform this action - Absence Report
I have already grant "Full Authorization" for "Inventory in Warehouse" report (indeed, my user could already open "Inventory in Warehouse" forms, problem occurs after he click "OK" button)
Its pretty confusing for me, because this only occurs for "Inventory in Warehouse" report only. It doesn't occurs for "Inventory Posting List" report or for instance "Inventory Status" report. It only occurs for "Inventory in Warehouse" report.
Some advice would be appreciated here.
Thanks in advance.

Hi Iwan...........
You have two modules to be authorised to your users for that. One is Inventory module and give authorisation to inventory reports. And second is Reports module in which again you have to give authorisation to the same inventory reports sub module.
I hope this will work out.
