Deploy an Integration Object from 'Local' Tools to Siebel Server

Hi,
I have created a Integration Object on my Local Siebel Tools.
What I would like is to 'Deploy' this Integration Object from my Local Siebel Tools to the Server database..?
& How to do this? Clicking Deploy to RunTime database only deploys to my Local, rather than the server?

In tools from 'View' menu select 'Options' there you will find 'Object explorer' tab
click on it there you will find just check the box and it will be visible.

Unable to connect FR studio from local desktop to HFR server

Hi Gurus,
I have installed HFR on client server and able to connect studio with server.
When i tried to connect from local desktop to HFR server, I am unable to connect to the HFR server.
error as " You are not authroized to this functionality, please contact your administrator.

changed the ports while configuring.
for FR given as 8010 and RA framework given as 8020.ports are opened.
please let me know your suggestions to resolve this. am i missing something?

"You Are Not Authorized To Use This Functionality" Error Occurs When Logging On To Financial Reporting Studio From Workstation [ID 1319745.1]
You are trying to log into the Financial Reporting Studio from with a properly provisioned user ID (including administrator IDs), but you get an error: "You are not authorized for this functionality."
Cause
The Financial Reporting (FR) Report Server box has multiple Network Interface Cards (NICs), and the one used by the Report Server is listed second in the binding order.
When a connection is requested of the FR Server from the FR Studio, the server returns an IP address to the Studio client. The server will, by design, return the first IP listed in the Server Network Interface's bind order. If this first IP is not the one associated with the FR Report Server, the FR Studio login error will result.
Solution
1. Review the Microsoft HELP menu on the FR Report Server for information on changing the bind order of the Network Interface Cards.
2. Change the binding order of the primary NIC on the FR Report Server box so that the FR Report Server IP address is 1st in the bind order.
3. Reboot the FR Report Server Box.
Alternately, if it is not necessary to have multiple NICs active on the server, you can disable all but the one used by the FR Report Service.

Hi,
When u create a object and save it, it will ask for the package name to save, then assign one package and then it will ask for the request .
Create the new request. and this request can be released before transporting.
Go to se09 or se10 and then select ur request number and click the release button. then object will be released and is ready to transport to quality.
After that goto STMS and then transport it to qwuality server.
However it will be the work of the basis guy to transport to quality after u have released...

Oracle Weblogic Server 12c, issue with deploying the war created from Wavemaker tool

Recently, I am facing an issue with Oracle Web logic Server 12c, on deploying the war file (created from Wavemaker tool) to running Web logic server, it shows deployment health status is OK and web application is Active. But when I visit the home page of the application, it is unable to load the javascript files in the context and I am getting below error. Please you can check these errors in the Inspect window of the browser :

Unable to upload files from local computer to remote server (Was: Dreamweaver)

I have lost the connection between the remote location and the local location for files on my computer. Where to I correct this issues, since I cannot upload files from local to remote. Host server from server to my computer works fine, Running Dell computerr XP operating system with CS3 Dreamweaver. Need all the help I can get.

Image: display from local drive, upload to server file system, and display from server

Hello,
I am using jdev 11.1.2.4.0...
The requirement is that users would like to upload images from their local drive to server drive and they would like display images from server drive later.
We don't want to keep images in database. I am not sure what the solution should be; however, I plan to ....
1. create a table to keep an information of images -- image_id, image_location (server drive), image_filename
2. create a page where users can enter image information and specific filename from a local drive (I think I will use inputFile component) and provide the preview button to display an image on screen before save it. To save data is to save information to the database and copy an image file to the server drive (the destination location for image files is predefined.)
3. create another page where users can browse information from the database and display an image for a selected record by getting from the server.
I need suggestions on...
1. how to display an image on page from the local drive?
2. how to copy a file from a local drive to a server?
3. how to display an image on page from the server drive?

Where Timo saves images to the database, you save it to the file system (examples on how to do this from Java are available plenty if you just Google for it). Similar to Timo you then use the image tag to display images. The difference is that you can directly add the URL from the database table.
The benefit of using a database to host images is that you are not dependent on file server structures though

Ifs Connection problem from local machine to Ifs server using API

I am trying to make an API call to connect to Ifs database server running on different machine(UNIX) from local machine. I copied all jar files and /Lib/Ifs/Settings directory to my local machine. All these files are in the classpath of weblogic 6.0 environment. A jsp on weblogic server call a bean which has a responsibibility of connecting to Ifs server to get LibrarySession.
From Visual Cafe 4.5 everything works fine but when i start weblogic 6.0 outside the visual cafe environment i get the error
below. I included all the jar files and /Lib/Ifs/Settings in start up script of weblogic server

Have you installed the Oracle client software on the machine where you are running WebLogic and your custom iFS application (your bean)?
It looks like the native JDBC libraries are not available to the JVM where WebLogic is executing your code. iFS uses JDBC to access the Oracle database, and it requires "thick" (OCI8) JDBC to do so. This means that you need Oracle client software to be installed (in an ORACLE_HOME directory) on a computer where you want to use the iFS API.
If you do have the Oracle client software installed already, then perhaps the WebLogic environment isn't configured to have access to the native JDBC libraries. Normally, as long as $ORACLE_HOME/lib is in the LD_LIBRARY_PATH (on unix) or $ORACLE_HOME/bin is in the PATH (on windows), stuff should just work.
See if you can find any information about including native libraries (for instance, to use JNI) in the WebLogic documentation. We don't certify with WebLogic, which is why I don't know the answer offhand.

Send live stream from local PC to global server

hello,
I'd like to capture audio/video from my local PC, and transmit it to a global server, which will send my content to some audiences.
Since the local PC has no unique IP, the server can't call RTPManager.addTarget(...) to receive live stream.
Someone recommends me transfer the stream using servlet. But I have no idea.
Is it possible using JMF RTP, and how?

within the same server you can moved the configs with SCC1 transaction. Consult your basis for the process involved to move requests.

Passing an object from a client to theserver

I have gone through much of the RMI material and still not fully clear on passing an object of class Object from the client to the server. The Object is constructed on the client and needs to be passed to the server for further manipulation. As it is of Class Object it is not automaiclly Serializable. So I gather it has to some how implement this interface.
Also at some point I need to get the Object back from the server to the client. At the moment it almost appears to be a simpler problem if I use something like SOAP. Suggestions and comment would help

On the Client it is an object of a class, not Object. I declared it to be of class Object in the Interface code on the server, hence it is being treated as an Object class instance. It may be just as simple, but messy in just passing simple data types back and forth. It still leaves me with the matter of getting several bits of data from the server to client.
Taking a simple example. If the data was to deal with a person, ie name age etc, then I can pass that to the server, process it store it etc as an object of Class X. But how do I now move that information back to the client simply?

Where exactly you are getting this error?
If you are getting at JMS Sender communication channel, try to stop and start the JMS communication channel and see the status, also use XPI Inspector to get the exact error log.

No Connection to Integration Builder (only local data visible): from R/3

I am also facing the same problem. I maintained the RFC destinations in R/3 properly. I did Test Connection and for RFC destination its working fine. I maintained proper values in SLDAPICUST. When I run SLDCHECK I got the following error.

Summary: Connection to SLD does not work
=> Check SLD function and configurations
Otherwise access to XI Profile works fine. But then when I run SPROXY I am getting the same message No Connection to Integration Builder (only local data visible)
I also checked the following report =>Check with report SPROX_CHECK_IFR_RESPONSE (3rd option) its giving informational message Integration Builder data not understood, for the 4th report ==>Check with report SPROX_CHECK_IFR_CONNECTION, it is also showing the same above information message.

I had the same problem and I have already solved it.
You have just to apply the following sap notes :
1232805 - Saint: Queue calculation for an add-on with CRT´s fail.
769120 - Support Package for APPINT 200_620
The first one is to update tha SPAM/SAINT to v 30 and the second one allow you use the pi/xi objects on application system.
There is another sap note 689847, but you just apply this if the sap notes above described did not work.

I need to know Date format From date of locale.
suppose there is a date "01/25/2010" date in date field I want to get string "mm/dd/yyyy". Actually I have to pass date format to backend when I call RFC.
Is there any way to get Date format from "Locale" object. I should get date format for local object
I get local object from "UserSessionData" object but how to get Date format from it.
I am not looking for Date value. I am looking for current local date format ("mm/dd/yyyy or dd/mm/yyyy or mon/dd/yyyy) whatever local date format. I could not find example which show how to get date format from "Locale" object.
Any help will be appreciated with rewards.

Try to get User or Shop Business Object as shown below.

We are facing an issue in XSLT mapping for one of the inbound scenario.
While executing the source message at mapping level, it is failing with the error text - "javax.xml.transform.TransformerException: com.sap.engine.lib.xsl.xpath.XPathException: Error parsing query -> java.lang.NullPointerException: while trying to invoke the method java.lang.Object.toString() of a null object loaded from local variable 'o'

Our PI is getting data from WebSphere MQ and pushing to SAP. So our sender CC is JMS and receiver is Proxy. Our PI version is 7.31.
Our connectivity between the MQ is success but getting the following error while trying to read the payload.
