Deploy button behaviour

Hi, I have installed SunOne App server 7 on Sun UNIX box.
Everything was fine, I was able to start the appserver,
can see the console (Using Explorer on my Windows machine).
However, on the console, whenever I direct to either one of:
- Applications -> Enterprise Apps
- Applications -> Web Apps
- etc... etc..
And the click Deploy button -> and click browse.
This gives me a "Windows Explorer" window, which is not what I expected.
I was expecting that the deploy file would have been on the server, so we would get a (Java applet) window which enables us to browse through the deploy files.
Could anyone explain this to me please.
This cause me a bit of confusion of where to actually store the files that need to be deploy, which I think should be on the server (in my case UNIX Sun box) where the SunOne is installed rather than W2K box where I view the console from (Internet Explorer).
Any help would be deeply appreciated.
Thanks in advance.

Does this mean you cannot deploy Using AdminGui if you have the following situation:
- SunOne AppServer7 is installed on Unix Server (SunOs)
- open console from Windows with the following URL:
As I explained in the first place, Trying to deploy from Admin GUI --> and then click browse results in windows Explorer being poped-up (and windows directories being displayed).
PS: previous reply appreciated :p .

  • Submit button behaviour based on signature reason.

I have a form where the signature requires two reasons (Approved/not approved).  On submit I want the data to be forwarded if approved but sent back to the sender if rejected.
    Any assistance appreciated.

    Hi Niall,
Like the neat scripting.  However I was trying to avoid the extra radio button click.  In the signature block I have mandated the signatee to choose an option in the signature reason message box.  That doesn't seem to save anywhere and the script I used fails to find a result.  I may have to resort to tried and true.

    Hi,
Are the options for approved or not approved set up as radio buttons? If so then you could specify the values of the radio buttons as the appropriate email addresses (see the Object > Binding palette). See an example here: https://acrobat.com/#d=qE1IszHcL6589QQYB7ceGg.
Then a custom email button could use the rawValue of the radio button exclusion group, as the To email address. See examples here (third button is a custom email submit button): http://assure.ly/fiTm2i.
    Hope that helps,
    Niall

  • Mavericks Shutdown Button Behaviour

    Hey,
is there an app or an option to bring back the old shutdown button behaviour (pushing shutdown button brings up an shutdown dialog). Don't need ctrl shortcut or something else. Sometimes I miss the delete button and my display turns off, that hurts.
Using Macbook AIr 13 mid 2013.
    Best regards

    > Imap accounts are designed to sync with their clients.
One would hope so, at least after a fashion, but this misses the point. "Sync" in this context is not a word that appears in the late  Mark Crispin's specification for IMAP 4Rev 1 (RFC 3501). It is expected that when clients connect to the server they interrogate the server to ensure that they have an up-to-date and accurate view of the messagess on the server, but there is no requirement in the RFC specification that they download and keep complete copies of every message: generally the headers are sufficient for this. The current obsession with perfect synchronisation (actually replication) of everything via the 'Cloud'  should not be confused with IMAP's simpler client-server philosophy.
That is not to say that there aren't issues with IMAP 4 Rev 1, not least around multiple contemporaneous connections to the same account, as anyone who has simultaneous connections open from desktop and mobile devices will know. Crispin's imapd implementation (UW-imapd) - which I use - was not good on this. The future of IMAP seems uncertain following Mark Crispin's death but its not really helpful for Apple, Google or whoever to unilaterally corrupt the current standard,
    > If you do not want that use a POP account instead.
Again, you miss my point - which is not about synchroization but about downloading entire messages. They are not the same thing.

  • Webdynpro deployment strange behaviour

    Hello and thanks in advice
I developed my first dynpro, deployed and tested
All worked fine, the strange behaviour start from this point.
I've modified and re-deployed(from netweaver studio) the dynpro, but i can't see the expected update via browser.
    Looking deeper under SDM
    C:\usr\sap\J2E\JC00\SDM\root\origin\local\<myapp name>\LOKAL\0.2005.07.26.18.52.50
i found a list of ear file called tempXXXXX<myapp name>
    that aren't deployed at all.
Each time i re-deploy myapp a new ear file appear under this path, but no "real deploy" occurs.
Looking under myapp project a .ear file, generated by studio, exist.
if i remove the .ear from the project dir and re-do the deploy all go fine.
Could someone explain me why do i have to remove the ear?
    Do i made any mistake?

    Hi,
Could be the problem with the IDE.
Just do CreateArchive on the project and deploy !!
    Regards, Anilkumar

  • Deploy button is gray

Hello all , I have oracle 9i personal and warehouse builder from developer suite.
My source is a simple flat file. I have created client and runtime repository. My target database link is to runtime depository which gives my error saying API2401 saying it is pointing to right database.
I can generate a map but when I try to deploy the button is gray I can not run or delpoy.
Also I need help to create Location and Connector in OWB
that is part of developer suite.
    Please help
    Regards

You will have to create a location for every module (source and target) you created and assign them to the appropriate modules. Be aware that target modules must point to Oracle Warehouse Builder (OWB) target schemas installed with the OWB runtime assistant.
Once this is done you will see these locations witin the deployment manager and all the objects will appear under the locations. You will have to register these locations in deployment manager before deploying objects (register = assign physical parameters to the locations such as hostname, db instance name, port, username and password).
FYI - OWB is not certified against the personal edition. You are running an un-supported configuration.
    Regards:
    Igor

  • Power button behaviour

By default, when pressing the power button on my mac, OSX pops up a dialog asking me what I want to do (Shutdown, sleep, restart): is there a way to change this behaviour so that pressing the power button has the same effect as selecting sleep?
Likewise, and more importantly, I have a keyboard with a suspend button that when pressed pops up the same "shutdown, sleep, restart" menu. I'd like this button to directly chose sleep, but can't find where I configure this :/

    I fear it too
I'll check it as soon as I get home (now I'm at work) but I think that the mac mini doesn't support that option, or that it's simply hidden in the pref pane :/
I fount it should be changeable using a command in the terminal but I don't think it's a good idea...
    The command is
    sudo pmset powerbutton 1
to turn the power button to sleep button
    sudo pmset powerbutton 0
to make the power button show the "sleep, restart, shutdown" dialog again

  • Yosemite green button behaviour?

Hi Everyone, I hope you're doing great.
Just Installed the brand new OS X: Yosemite and I'd like to know if someone knows:
How to invert the behaviour of the green button?
I do know about the option key trick, but I'd like to option+click to Full Screen and single click to Zoom.
    Thank you.

    Hello again.
Thank you to those who kindly took their time in trying to give an answer to this question.
Judging by the answers I received, I came to the conclusion that perhaps I didn't formulated the question correctly, so here again it goes with images.
Image 01: This is what I have when I open some application, or folder, lets for example use Safari.
Image 02: When I place the cursor over the green button it shows the Full Screen icon.
Image 03: Once I click on the green button, it goes to Full Screen, taking the whole screen.
Image 04: Here's the state where I come back coming out of Full Screen (or the original state when I opened Safari).
Image 05: When I option+click the green button changes to a plus sign.
Image 06: Once I option+click the window expands only to it's natural borders, leaving space to actually 'see' the rest of the screen.
Image 07: Conclusion, my question is: Is there a way to by default have this functions inverted?
Just for fun, imagine that my left hand is always occupied (unavailable)
I wouldn't like to have an external App to do this though. Thank you in advance.

  • BB Curve 8320 unexpected button behaviour

    Hi Community
I now own a BB Curve 8320 which arrived on March 7 th 2010 with OS v4.2.
Having previously & successfully upgraded the OS on my BB curve 8310 which has an expensive screen problem, I downloaded OS v4.5  for the BB Curve 8320.
    I used this download: 8320EastAsia_PBr4.5.0_rel108_PL2.7.0.78_A4.5.0.81_Voda_Australia
Everthing appeared to work fine; the OS upgrade completed successfully and before & after reloading the data from Outlook I could access the menu via Menu key & do everything I needed.
However, after some time of operation (i.e. over 1 or more hours), randomly the unit will not display the menu when I press the Menu Key and I can't answer calls by pressing the green phone button.
Instead, this key and a few others will produce strange characters (e.g. Yi )  in those applications that can accept text, or not respond at all.
I have tried to help myself with this problem by doing the following one by one and testing after:
    Battery Pulls.
Hold alt, then hold right shift, then hit delete.
Reloading the OS after wiping with JL_Cmder v1.9.1
I read on either this forum or crackberry that I should consider moisture under the keyboard, and so proceeded to remove the battery, and SIM and SD cards then proceeded to hairdryer the unit for a brief period.
RESULT = Everything works again for a short while (i.e. a few hours), then it will repeat the above behaviour.
I kinda figure there is a simple BB Curve 8320 fix or setting change that I am missing.
The 8310 was rock solid on performance.... and truthfully I miss it.
Please put me out of my misery.
    Blessed Regards,

The directions I posted above work just fine.
You don't need a ziplock bag, although it won't hurt.
After several days, just blow off any rice dust off the device and power up, and keep your fingers crossed. You don't need vacuums and all that.
Don't make a simple process complicated
Good luck, I suspect you will be perfectly fine.

  • Mouse button behaviour

    Hi!
I have a problem with Premiere Pro. When trimming a clip, premiere will stop trimming, eventhough I haven't released the mouse button yet. The same happens with dragging a clip.
You can imagine it's quite annoying to have your NLE decide when you're done trimming or dragging a clip. Also it makes my work go a lot slower.
So does anybody here know how to fix my problem?
My get-up is a 27" iMac, OsX Yosemite (10.10.2) and a normal wireless Magic Mouse.
    My mouse doesn't
    Thanks in advance!

    Hey Peru Rob,
Actually, with a corded mouse there doesn't seem to be any problems..
I do kind of like the fact I can side-ways scroll with the magic mouse. Any chance I can somehow fix the problem while being able to use my cordless mouse?
    Thanks,
    Marten

  • Adobe? seems there is a bug in buttons behaviour!! (not really air only)

    Good morning,
is there a reasonable reason for which a button switches at cursor click from over-state to up-state [for 1 keyframe?] and then to down-state, instead of switching from over-state directly to down-state as supposed?
it is just a button created in CS5, with no code yet.. in a very simple swf.
    the bug is evident:
    1) in AIR 2.5 for Android (veeeery bad)
    2) testing the swf with ctrl-return from cs5
    3) when calling the simple swf directly, without loading it via html (!)
using the save swf file in a web page seems flash player is not affected [see 3).. boh]
    please note:
    1) the bug seems to "work" only when a button is contained in a movieclip.
when the same button is placed on the maintimeline it works perfectly
(as shown in the app: the 4 buttons [bottom right] are container in a movieclip placed in the stage. the 5th and upper button is placed on the stage)
    2) I didn't try with AIR2.5 for desktop (please..)
nb the affected swf is physically the same for the web and for the android versions of the upcoming app.
gimme light please. (seems to be impossible it is an error from the developer)
    my regards,
    Massimiliano Carli
    mc2labs.com

later some debug, I found this:
buttons on a container MovieClip react slower than buttons on main timeline (all air versions [desktop, android])
seems (and sounds, to say the truth) to be correct the running path: [mouse events:]
OVER -> DOWN [and then] UP -> CLICK
    but,
OVER -> DOWN [and then] UP -> CLICK with buttons in main timeline is fast enough
OVER -> DOWN [and then] UP -> CLICK with buttons a MovieCLip is not fast enough to be acceptable
    and, in the case:
OVER -> DOWN [and then] UP -> CLICK with buttons a MovieCLip is AIR for Android is terribly SLOW (can't use buttons?!?!)
adobe, have I to open a bug report?
    Massimiliano
nb AIR 2.5.1 (I ask to myself if previous versions of AIR were free from this bug, or if worldwide developers are used to not to use buttons in movieclips when developing for AIR...)

  • Strange Button Behaviour

All of a sudden flash is mistaking my entire flash movies for
buttons. Its very strange. When you put the mouse over a swf in a
web page (not in the flash export preview area) it acts as if the
entire movie was a button. At the same time my real buttons won't
click. Ive found if I click once this goes away and then the movie
behaves normally, but obviously this won't do.
Has anyone else had this problem? I"ve reinstalled flash mx
2004 to no avail..also I've made there is no stray actionscript in
a frame. The AS is only on the button.
    TIA
    Amelia

perhaps this is the Eolas/IE active content issue that has
been implemented recently - search forum
(has been discussed hundreds of times and a few times within
the past few hours) and search google.

  • Buttons Behaviour

I am facing a strange problem.I run a form I see the buttons working properly and all of a sudden the button gets corrupt and they don't work properly.Did anybody faced this problem.
Please help me.I have forms6i and oracle 8i.
Also, please let me know what are all the possibilty of these kinds of errors?
    Thanks
    Asma

This my/may not be it but I'll share our experience. We use Forms 6i on Solaris. We found that you must connect to
the database BEFORE you make any Forms changes. We actually connect when we start up the Developer. THEN, open
your form and make changes. If you don't do this, your form (.fmb) can get corrupted, even if you exit without saving.
We found this to only be a problem once the form's .fmx files gets to be about 500Kb and above. The only thing to do
is open up a blank Form module and use drag-n-drop to copy all your objects from the corrupt form into the new form.

  • V23 button behaviour - known issue?

    hey,
in my folio is use a couple of scrollable frames. within those there is text, pictures and buttons... all in all there are 3 buttons in a scrollabe frame, one to link to a map (http://), one to a homepage (http://) and one button shows the "visible state" of an MSO on the same page.
my workflow for creating these buttons in short:
    - make a rectangle, activate it as a scrollable frame
    - make 3 rectangles, convert them to buttons (2 x navigate to, 1x go to state)
    - group the 3 buttons -> command-x -> select the scrollable frame -> command - alt - v
all 3 buttons worked very well yesterday, but after todays update it seems that as soon as you use cmd - x to cut out the grouped buttons, the one button linking to the MSO state lost its link. the other 2 buttons to external webpages are still working fine (even within the scrollable frame).
when i DONT cut out the button group but leave them just lying around the page instead, all 3 buttons work well and do what they are supposed to do.
is that a known issue in the update to v23?

mh strange, yesterday and the whole last week it worked fine that way... but since i updated adobe dps this morning (no update to indesign itself, i guess?) its messed up.
anyway... found a workaround. for all those who are interested:
dont convert the object to a button BEFORE inserting it into the scrollable frame. insert it first and then convert the desired object to a button after the group is placed inside the scrollable frame
hope adobe will provide a fix soon and turn back to the way it worked before...
