Amit,
Are you using LabVIEW 8.6?
Did you install LabVIEW 8.6 before you installed TestStand 4.1?
If so you need to install "Remote Execution Support for NI TestStand"  from your LabVIEW 8.6 CD.
"Remote Execution Support for NI TestStand" feature is not installed on the machine if LabVIEW's installer does not detect TestStand on that machine.

  • HFM Application Library error Null while deploying the validated app

    Hello,
I am trying to deploy a HFM application on EPM 11.1.3 and when I right click on the application in Application library of EPMA, I am getting a pop-up with the following error:
    Application Library Error
    null
    Please note:
    1. This is a EPMA managed HFM application.
    2. The validation of the application is successful.
    3. Deployement errors with the above error.
    4. It is on Windows 2003 server with MSServer as the RDBMS.
Please help me resolve this issue.
    thanks,
    Ankit

    Hi Ankit,
This would be normally resolved by Restarting the EPM Services and also remember to restart the Calculation manager services as well.
Once the services are restarted try deploying the application again to see if it deploys successfully.
    Hope this helps,
    Thank you,

  • Library resource is in the missing state and cannot be deployed. (Error ID: 23004)

    Hi experts,
I have SCVMM version 2012 Service pack 1 installed in my Windows Server 2012. It is managing 3 Hyper-V hosts.
I have custom Linux VM running. I have created Linux VM templates and stored them in VMM Library.
When I try to create a new VM using the VM Template, I am getting the below error
Library resource my-linux.iso is in the missing state and cannot be deployed. (Error ID: 23004)
Could you please help in resolving this error?
I tried with Powershell New-SCVirtualMachine command, but getting the same error.
    Thanks in advance,
    Saleem

VM Templates cannot have attached ISOs (SCVMM cannot deploy a new VM from template with an ISO attached)
Was an ISO attached to the VM when you created the template?
If so edit the properties of the VM template and remove it.

  • How to programmatically Deploy Library of Variables binded to Custom IO Server?

    Hello,
I'm developing an application where I've created a Custom Periodic IO Server  doing  special custom scaling of values read from  CompactFieldPoint module.  Then I've created a Library of Network-Published variables, where each variable is binded to a different item on Custom Server.
Now I want to do a programmatic deployment of server and variable library at the start-up of application, because I need the customer to get a list of all variables from variable library to select which one he will be using in a measurement. The idea is to set various properties of selected variables, like enable logging, set alarm values etc. I can get a list of variables only from deployed libraries.
The problem is that I can not deploy a library of binded variables neither with Deploy Library.vi or Libraryeploy method. I receive an error code 1, Invoke Node in PRC_Deploy.vi->Deploy Library.vi<APPEND>
If I manually deploy the same library from Project Explorer, everything works as expected and no error is thrown. I'm using DSC 8.0.1 on XP Prof
Can you give me some tips or advise how to achieve this. Is this approach OK or do you have better idea?
    Thank you,
    Roman

    Hello,
I found the answer to my own question. Solution is very simple. When you create a data binding on a shared variable, you need to browse for item in Network Items and not on Project Items, doesn't matter if item is actually inside the same project.
This solve my problem and I can now successfuly deploy library using Deploy Library.vi
So far, my problems are solved, until the next one, of course
    Good luck,
    Roman

    Hi preet_singh,
So let me try to understand: your subVI should write the values to the Temp11 and Temp21 in the subVI front panel and at the same time, the indicator for Temp11 and Temp21 in your main VI should read the change as well?
From what I see from your code, I do not see anything which writes to the shared variable as they are all reading from the shared variables Temp21 and Temp11 respectively. I did not see anything that is written to those shared variable. Second, the shared variables in your main VI is not in the loop and therefore they are updated once (from what I can see from the screenshot below)
In order to tranfer data from 1 VI to another using Shared Variable, the subVI has to write to the shared variable while at the main VI, it reads from the shared variable. The example is shown at the below screenshot which was taken from the example "Shared Variable.lvproj" which I have mentioned in my previous post (to make a shared variable to write, right click on the shared variable >> Access Mode >> Write):
At the loop which the random number is writing to the Monitor Value 1 and Monitor Value 2, you can create an indicator so that you can detect what value is writen to the other VI.
Another possibility is that both of your VIs should be set to be non reentrant and at normal priorities (go to VI Properties).
Sorry, I may need to look into that VI of yours. As for now, I can come out with this possible cause of the problem you faced.
May I ask why don't you extract the values from the subVI directly instead of using shared variables?: http://www.ni.com/white-paper/7593/en/

  • Please help! Shared Library Error... no applications will open!

    Hi. Major issues!!
My computer was unplugged for 2 weeks (renovations). When I set it up in my new office, none of my applications would open! (Microsoft, Adobe, AOL, etc...) Safari is working.
    I get this error message:
The application "Photoshop" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "5<application><CarbonLib><CFMPriv_SpeechRecognition>"
The application "Word" could not be launched because of a shared library error:
    "8<Microsoft Word><CarbonLib><CFMPriv_SpeechRecognition>"
The application "AOL" could not be launched because of a shared library error:
    "9<AOL (Bootstrap)><CarbonLib><CFMPriv_SpeechRecognition>"
The application "AppleWorks" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "4<AppleWorks><CarbonLib><CFMPriv_SpeechRecognition>"
    Here's what I've tried...
I have tried to install combo update 10.3.9. .. didn't work.
My computer was purchased in 2004... just moved to a new house... do not know where my installation dvd is... so to reboot on that is not an option.
I tried disk repair permissions... didn't work!
I opened my log console to view the crash logs... and it appears a lot has crashed... but I can not understand what any of it means!?!
Can anyone help or offer some advice?
Can anyone understand a crash log if I post it?
Please help!?! Taking an online masters course and this is a major dilemma!
    Thanks,
    Lindsay

    Hi Lindsay,
"Can I get one from a mac store? Does it have to be the original one I used when I purchased my mac?"
No, you can no longer purchase 10.3 Panther disks from Apple Stores, online or otherwise. You may however, be able to purchase replacement disks for your computer (if Mac OS 10.3 were the original install disks that came with your mac) by calling Apple and explaining and having the serial number ready of the computer.
If your installation of 10.3 was an upgrade you can purchase retail copies of 10.3 disks online from many resellers, such as on ebay or sites such as FastMac, but be sure to purchase a retail box set and not upgrade or machine specific disks.
Did you perform all of the steps that Kappy steered you to in Dr. Smoke's FAQ first and your only option left is the Archive and Install?

  • How to add a new Shared Variable programmatically to an existing and deployed library?

    Hi there!
I am trying to accomplish this on both LabVIEW 8.6 and LabVIEW 2010 and seems like it's not any different in this situation.
My case: A project has a library with 4 Shared Variables (SVs). The library and the variables are deployed (visible in Distributed System Manager 8.6/2010). I want to add 2 more variables into this library. It is possible to do this manually from Project Explorer window's options menu. But while running an application it has to be done programmatically. Can I provide the library reference to the one currently existing without creating a new one?
"Create Or Add Library To Project" function in the Datalogging and Supervisory Control (DSC) toolkit does not help in this case. That function, as the name suggests, just tries to create a new library in the project.
    Two possible methods:
The function "Add Shared Variable To Library" (DSC>EngineControl>Libraries & Processes) needs a library reference, which could be provided via "CreateOrAddLibraryToProject" function, but this function tries to create a new library, and if I provide the path of the existing library it throws an exception that the library already exists in the project (yes, as I wrote above, I need to add new variables to an existing and deployed library).
    OR
The function "Create Shared Variable" (DSC>EngineControl>Variables & I/O Servers) will add Shared Variable in a process, and not physically in a library file, and the problem (limitation) with this approach is that it doesn't allow to add complex data type Shared Variables (for example in LabVIEW 8.6 it has only 4 datatype options in input parameter, and even in LV2010 it does not have "Image" datatype that I need).
The scond method is my preferred method as it allows to work on Online Shared Variables and doesn't create them physically in libraries (and this is good as the variables' scope remains only till the Variable Engine is running). But it doesn't support advanced data types, and the first method is powerful in terms that it supports to virtually any datatype, it just seems tricky to get that reference to the library.
    Any tips?
    Thanks ahead!

       <<<<>>>>
As the above two images show, while a library does not exist, it is easy to use the "CreateOrAddLibraryToProject.vi" which will add a new library to the project (if it doesn't exist on file system, a new library will be created) and that way, using the reference (the green wire going out from the function and the Case Structure, can be used to add Shared Variables to the library. The problem was what to do when a library already exists in the project, how to add more variables to it. I was looking for a way to get a library reference, and somehow I could not see it inside a Project's property (VI Server functions). Hence I posted the question. And upon continuing my search, I found it on the Application's property list.
I hope it was useful for someone else as well. And thanks for the replies. Please share a better idea if you have.

I get a Microsoft Visual C   Runtime Library Error message: Program C:\Program Files (x86)\iTunes\iTunes.exe R6025.  Pure virtual functional call.  If I select ok, Windows 7 pops up with iTunes has stopped working and then it shuts iTunes down.  Anyone else every have this issue.  Any ideas on a fix?
    Thanks,

For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.

  • Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Error in T430S during HP printer install

I just bought a T430S Windows 8 and I'm having problems installing the software and drivers for my HP Photosmart D-110-a printer. I've owned the printer for a year and it was no problem installing the software that it came with on my previous Dell Windows 7. Every time I try to install from the CD-Rom or download the software from HP, I get a Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Library Error message. Please someone help!
By the way, I am able to print to the machine because I think HP printer driver was preloaded on the Start screen from Lenovo. Is it possible the reason why I can't install the software that the my HP printer came with, is because HP driver was preloaded? The issue of not being able to install the full software, is that I can't monitor ink levels or scan items from the computer.

It looks to me like HP never made a windows8 driver for that printer. You might read this:

I have installed Identity Manager 9.1.0.2 (patch upgraded from 9.1.0.1) on OEL 5.3 64bit and Weblogic 10.3.1
    Database:Oracle 11gR2 (remote machine).
**I am aware that IM 9.1.0.2 is not certified on Weblogic 10.3.1 (it is only certified on 10.3),
The installation was successful and OIManager is up and running. Able to create Users, Resources etc. as well.
As part of configuring OIM Connectors tried to Import .xml file using Import option from Deployment Management section as below and the following error was displayed.

Did all workarounds like enabling java, changing browsers, restarting machine etc as per the below discussion but in vain.
Deployment Manager Error with Oracle Weblogic Server
Can any one suggest any workaround or solution for this problem.
Or atleast can any one confirm there is no Identity manager available on this date which is compatible with 10.3.1? and cannot be continued further.

You are facing this issue because you're using a non certified combination.
Other folks who tried to use OIM in 10.3.1 ended up in the same problem you're facing.

  • Shared Library Error after software update

After a software update check, I downloaded all recommendations which were the following: Java for Mac OS X 10.4 Release 5, iTunes 7.1, iPhoto Update 6.0.6, Security Update 2006-008 (PPC) 1.0, and Mac OS X Update (PPC) 10.4.9.
But upon restarting, I get 2 popup windows entitled Application Launch Failure. The first says: The application "(null)" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "5>HP Communications><CarbonLib><CFMPriv_CarbonSound>". The second reads: The application "EEventManager" could not be launched because of a shared library error: "1<EEventManager><CarbonLib><CFMPriv_CarbonSound>". I also get one when I try to launch AOL from the desktop. It also has the string with CarbonSound in it.
I tried reinstalling all of the updates and the Security update didn't work at all - which didn't seem to matter since it was an older version (I think??). I then reinstalled the OS update again, but this time I did the combo version. Still no luck. I looked into CarbonSound, but I haven't found anything current or relevant. Any suggestions? Thank you.

  • I have Adobe Illustrator CS5 Runtime C++ Library Error Message

When I open a large Ai file I get an error saying Runtime C++ Library error, how do I fix it? It works with small files but not my large one, this is the only program it has been doing it and just occurred recently within the last week. I have Windows 7 (PC obviously), I've tried uninstalling the programs and re-installing, deleting folders/files and restarting the program and still comes up when I try to open just one file, that's pretty big and don't know what else to do.
    -Amanda

Uninstall your existing copy of iTunes. Delete any copies of the iTunesSetup.exe (or iTunes64Setup.exe) installer files from your downloads areas for your web browsers and download a fresh copy of the iTunes installer from the Apple website:
    http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
(The current build of the 11.1.4.62 installer was changed a few days ago, which fixed the bulk of the reports of MSVCR80.dll/R6034/APSDaemon.exe/Error-7/AMDS-could-not-start trouble ... but the build number on the installer was not changed. So we're trying to make sure you do the reinstall using a "new good" 11.1.4.62 installer instead of an "old bad".)
Does the install with the new copy of the installer go through properly? If so, does that clear up the error message?
If you still have the same error messages cropping up, then try the procedures from the following user tip:
