Deploy to local HAT missing in SAP WebIDE 1.10.2?

Hi Experts,
I am not able to find deploy to local HAT option in the latest version of SAP WebIDE(1.10.2)
How can I deploy my project to local HAT with this version?

Hi Dhani,
Can you cross check if project offline_Sample has been created using template either SAP UI5 master detail kapsel app or SAP UI5 mobile kapsel project ? You may also check with creating a new project using either one of these templates.

1) Undeploy your project using SDM [RemoteGUI], or else ask your basis person to remove that particular project's .EAR file.
2) If you have a clustered server ,follow this sequence
a) Stop the Clustered Server
b) Stop the Local Server
c) Start the Local Server
d) Start the Clustered Server
3) Try to deploy your application once again

Im testing a service contract but the following error is shown:
Pricing: Local currency missing
Message no. PRC_MESSAGES_EXT504
Diagnosis
A series of data, including the local currency, is required for pricing. However, this was not given when pricing was called.

In fact the problem was the sales organization, this was the place where the Local Currency was missing.
SAP Note 1294039 - Longtext missing local currency
After correcting the missing value, pricing determination was performed.

Idoc "missing" between SAP and PI

Hi!
We have an issue with Idocs that are "missing" between SAP and PI. First 5 idocs were processed ok, then 3 went into yellow status. We have set up queue processing on this particular idoc type as there can be posted 2 at the same time. The problem started when 2 idocs were processed at the same time
What have been done
- SMQ1/2 in SAP system does not show any trace of these messages
- SMQ1/2 in PI system does not show any trace of the messages
- Message monitoring in PI does not show any trace of the messages
- SM58 in SAP system is empty
- SM58 in PI system is empty
What checks remain to find out where these Idocs are stuck?

and Localization - United Kingdom And just tell me is it possible to set

Hi,
You can set any currency till the time there is no transactions in the database.
Please do remember that the on selection of the Localization UK, the legal aspects and the tax law pertaining to the UK will be applicable and also you have to check for the exchange rate calculation based on settings (direct/indirect).
Also, taking INR as LC will lead to INR being the main currency and hence the reports generation and reconciliation of all the Multi-Currency will be performed in the Lead Currency.

Do we need downtime for this activity?

Starting local J2EE engine from SAP MMC

I am trying to start my local J2EE engine using SAP MMC. However, when I select the start option, the DB no longer starts automatically. I can manually start the DB, select start, and the engine will start. Previously, I could select start and everything would just come up.
Can anyone tell me where the disconnect is occuring?

If you have an add-in installation then you can try to stop the java system by stopping the java dispacther by stopping the j2ee process.You can just try restarting the java system using SMICM.You can check whether the data base services are set to auto start or need a manual start.

Yes.
I already reverted all deletions. But it seems to me that the studio didn't revert correctly. I deleted 2 applications inside a wd component. After revert, the studio just recreated the folder but not the file with .wdapplication extension. But i'm not sure if this is really the problem.
Do you know if there is any log file which file the studio is missing? That kind of troublemanagement is really no fun at all. There has to be a log file just like the build log files, right?
I mean, a can't believe that there is none.

Excel x86 2013 status bar missing in SAP

Hello,
We are using SAP GUI 7.3 patch 7 and Office Excel 2013. With this combination, the bottom status bar in Excel does not display. I tried to apply some corrections, but I do not successful.
My problem is similar to that: Excel 2010 status bar missing in SAP

I checked this with the standard demo program
SAPRDEMO_SPREADSHEET_INTERFACE and unfortunately this is a limitation of the SAP inplace
mode.
This issue can be replicated outside of SAP by using the FramerEx application by Microsoft which
can be downloaded for free.
You can download this from here:
http://download.microsoft.com/download/vc60pro/mdi/1/win98me/en-us/framerex.exe
If you use this program and use the File -> Open and select any valid .xls file,it will open in the same manner as the inplace mode in SAP
You will notice the status bar is missing in this case too.
This is the same technology that SAP use to display the inplace files.

Local Workbooks Missing under Favorites

Hi BW Gurus
We have upgraded to NW2004S SP12 and found old workbooks(local) are missing (under favorites) even after activating Personalization in BEX (SPRO).
The workbook tables has all the local workbooks in the corresponding tables(RSRWBINDEX,RSRWBSTORE) but it is not displaying when you click on Favorites in the BEx for WORKBOOKs.
I never faced this issue with SP7 & SP9.
I really appreciate if someone can share their knowledge or solution.

I looked in to the table and these are my findings.
SMEN_BUFF has zero records
SMEN_BUFFI has 15 records
SMEN_BUFFC has >400 records.
The userid who complained about missing workbooks has couple of entries in
SMEN_BUFFI & SMENBUFFC tables.
Can you please explain me what are these tables ? and what should i look for ?.

Hello... Does anybody know how to deploy applications locally. I am following the help in JDev32 but I keep getting a "cant find the main" error from jre.

connect.properties... not connections.properties? And it's not getting into your JAR? Hmmm....
From docs:
The filesystem location for the connection descriptor definition information is
JDeveloper/bin/IDEConnections.properties
where JDeveloper is the root directory in which JDeveloper is installed.
You can also set an environment variable to point to an alternate file for your global connection descriptor definition information. The environment variable is jdeveloper_connections.
If multiple users are pointing to the same IDEConnections.properties (or any other named) file, any connection descriptor property change to that file affects that connection for all of those users. Use care when updating connection descriptors in a shared connection descriptor definition file.
Connection Properties Deployment
A connection.properties file is included with JDeveloper deployments. This file contains the connection information necessary for deployment and the runtime connection execution.
The Include password in deployment archive checkbox in the Connection Editor determines whether the password is included in the deployed connection.properties file. Select the checkbox to add the password information to the deployed connection.properties file. If Include password in deployment archive was not selected for the deployed connection, a runtime user of that connection must enter a valid username and password for the connection.

Deploy a new JDBC Driver on SAP Netweaver 7.1 CE

I would like to deploy a new jdbc driver on the SAP NetWeaver 7.1 CE
bI have a Guideline where the steps are discribed until a message says
to download a jdbc driver file ojdbc14.jar . The File exist on the AIX 5.3
but the message wants to install the driver file from my local PC.
Is there a possibility to access to the AIX and select the file via Netweaver ?
In the Configtool is the jdbc connector not available so I cant do the configuration there

Please logon to your AIX system.
logon to your CE system NWA being in the AIX system then it's possible to access the file.
Otherwise, being in your desktop/laptop it's not possible to access your AIX file system due to fact that files are not mounted to that level access.
If this doesnot answer your concern please write back.
