Deployment not progressing in Applying phase

Hi,
I configured a site and successfully deployed projects in BCC.
During deployment of one project we were facing some error and couldnot resolve it, so we deleted the site and created new one with same configurations.
After that when we are trying initial full deployment, it continued to be in "Applying" state forever.
If I try to stop the deployment, it is also not happening.
Did anybody here faced this issue earlier. i found one post on ATG community but no solution was given.

Please note that we are migrating from ATG 2007 to ATG 10.0.1...Also we are doing deployment in this new environment for the first time only.

Hi Pijush,
The exception towards the end of the stack trace says the RENDERER_ID is an invalid identifier. the Oracle error 00904 indicates the column name must be wrong. Can you verify the repostiory xml on the BlockRepository and check the column name.

The file on the OMS/m02 / midd/OMS/sysman/agent / 12.1.0.2.0 AgentCore226. Zip is copied to the host/m01 ADATMP_2013 on 192.168.165.83-03-28 _11-01-33 - AM failure error message: PROV - 16011: Auth fail
Exit code: 0
(1) authentication user is oracle
(2) the target users oracle sudo ls -l/root this command
(3) the em can SSH login to the target host

Why are you using " - ignorePrereqs " parameter? You should not be using this parameter until advised by Oracle support or running into some know issue. This will ignore all the pre-req check and it is not recommended to skip any failed pre-req checks, which can cause more issues with agent later.
a) from target machine ping omshost
ping <OMS_Hostname>
b)From Agent machine, execute the below
wget http://<OMS_Hostname>:<EM_UPLOAD_PORT>/empbs/genwallet
or
wget https://<OMS_Hostname>:<EM_UPLOAD_PORT>/empbs/genwallet
Anyone of the above should be able to connected to OMS machine.
Above two are working then try the agent install again with out the " - ignorePrereqs " parameter and look into the log file for more detailed error: agent_home/cfgtoollogs/agentdeploy/*.*

Complete Refresh bypass MGP Apply-phase?

When setting a snapshot to be a complete refresh. Is the in-queue bypassed or does the apply-phase of MGP still need to run?

If you have a snapshot set to complete refresh then it will bypass the compose phase, not the apply phase. This can be useful for reference data updates, or some slow running queries.
Setting client wins or server wins should not make much difference as such to the in queue processing during apply (apart from the conflict resolution), but if the snapshot is set to updateable='N' then no data will ever be put into the in queues - this may be what is happening

I'm following the Oracle Application Server Release 2 (10.1.2) Deployment Notes (http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/html/B25947_01/deployment_topics006.htm) for deploying an application, built in Jdeveloper 10.1.3 to AS 10.1.2. I have a question about Configuring JDeveloper to Generate Configuration Files That Are J2EE 1.3-Compliant. Do I need all the files in table 34-3? (http://download-uk.oracle.com/docs/html/B25947_01/deployment_topics006.htm#CIHHBJAI)
I already have some of these files. Can I change the version of existing files or do I need new ones? How can I change the version of existing files?

Usually the only reason it will ask you to reboot is if there is a file that must be modified that the updater doesn't currently have access to. You should try running the Firefox program once as Administrator:
* Right-click the icon and choose ''Run as Administrator''
If that doesn't help then do a clean reinstall.
# Download a fresh copy of Firefox from the [http://www.mozilla.org/firefox/fx/ Mozilla download page] and save the file to the desktop.
# [[Uninstalling Firefox|Uninstall]] your current version of Firefox and remove the Firefox program folder before running the new installer.
# Run installer
Remember that you don't want to remove personal data when uninstalling. That way you'll still have your personal information.

our client is having leave type which is valid from 1st April 2010 to 31st March 2010 and deduction interval also from 1st April to 31st march 2010.
now employees are not able to apply for the leave of April month of 2011 where do i have to change in configuration.
I did change in counting rule apply to abs type but still getting error no absence quota available.

As per your requiment, you don't have quota carry forward to next year i.e., 2011 April.
You should run/ generate the leave quotas for the employees by using RPTQTA00 or PT60.. for the year of April 2011 to March 2012. Whichever you are using for ur business requirement. Well, it sort of solved my problem. Now every time I start a lecture with sound, there is no sound, but the slides advance. If I go back to iTunes and turn on a cd, it plays the sound. If I then go back to the lecture, the sound goes on. So each time I start a slide show with sound, I have to turn on iTunes. How can I fix this?

I use Firefox 95% of the time, and there's no problem with flash content (and I'm still at .55 - downloaded .64 last week but I haven't got round to making the change yet). At the rate they've been changing it recently it may well be out of date already .
I've been trying it in Safari, too with no problems apart from You Tube, but that's because I'm blocking Google cookies.
One thought does occur - if your Flash preferences are set to block all Local Storage, it may be that the problem site is trying to use Flash cookies (LSOs). I had this problem recently with the BBC iPlayer streaming content. Little Snitch notified an attempt to connect to a new URL - emp.bbci.co.uk.
If I disallowed it, no streaming; when I allowed the connection, it still wouldn't stream, so I did a bit of digging and came to the conclusion that it was trying to set a Flash cookie. When I unblocked, lo and behold - streaming resumed as normal.
I now have LSOs blocked in a more subtle way that lets the site think it's being set (but it ain't) and the streaming still works.
As for permissions repair - always repair from local; the permissions on the original disc will have been superceded by updates and new installations of Apple software.
DU needs to be reading the packages on the HD, not the (now out of date) install disc.
The recurring repair messages are normal and don't mean anything's wrong. As long as the final message is 'repair complete' there's no need to dwell on it.

Datapump network import from 10g to 11g database is not progressing

We have an 11.2.0.3 shell database in RedHat Linux 5 64-bit platform, and we are pulling data from its 10g database (10.2.0.4) HP-UX platform using datapump via NETWORK_LINK. However, the import seems to be not progressing and completing. We have left it run for almost 13 hours and did not even import a single row to the 11g database. We even try to import only one table with 0 rows but still it is not completing, the logfile just continue to be lopping on the following:

Thanks a lot for all who have looked and responded to this, I appreciate you giving time for suggestions. As a recap, datapump export and import via dumpfile works on both 10g and 11g databases, we are only having issue pulling data from the 10g database by executing datapump network import (using dblink) from the 11g database.
SOLUTION: The culprit was the parameter optimizer_features_enable='8.1.7' that is currently set on the 10g database, we have taken that out of the parameter file of the 10g database and network import worked flawlessly.
HOW DID WE FIGURE OUT: We turned on a trace to the datapump sessions and trace file shows something about optimizer (see below). So we have taken one by one any parameter that has something to do with optimizer and found out it was optimizer_features_enable='8.1.7' parameter that when removed makes the network import successful.

How long did you wait for the download to run? The last time I downloaded the Windows support files for Boot Camp, it was going very slowly, so I swapped away to another task. Several minutes later I came back and it had moved a little, but not much, so I went on with other things. When I got back to it several hours later, the download had completed. Perhaps you just need to let it go overnight to perform the downloads...
