Deployment of ACS reporting

Hey,
So we have a SCOM 2012 set up here, with one central server, separate DB, with ACS recently installed on the same central server and ACS reporting DB set up on a separate DB.
So -
MainSCOMServer + SCOMDB + ACSDB
I have just set up reporting on the ACSDB server, which is working. Only problem is that in the configuration of SCOM, it can only point to one URL for reporting (which is currently pointing to SCOMDB). Is there any way to get it to pick up the
reports from the ACSDB server as well in the SCOM console?

Error while Deploying Monitoring Server Reports!

Hi,
Trying to install the monitoring role with reporting services but must have missed one or several steps! :)
Have 1 standard edition server and 1 server running Lync monitoring and SQL (that I installed myself, hopefully correct)
Have installed SQL with instance LYNCSQL\LYNSQL (also checked the reporting services feature)
Have intalled the Standard Edition server
Have installed the Monitoring role
Now I want to "Deploy Monitoring Server Reports" from the Lync Server Deployment Wizard.
Specifying Monitoringserver with FQDN (the same server as the acctual SQL server)
Specifying LYNCSQL\LYNCSQL as the Instance\InstanceID
Specifying the systemaccount that I added during the SQL server installation
Don't specifying any usergroup
Receiving the following error:
Could not get objects from namespace root\Microsoft\SqlServer\ReportServer. The RPC server is unavailable. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BA)The RPC server is unavailable. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x800706BA)Cannot get the ReportServerWebService

When looking in the Lync Server Console I see green status of Standard Edition and the Monitoring Server, but from my LYNCSQL\LYNCSQL i have status of N/A.
Where to start? :)

Logged on to the Reporting services configuration manager and here are the settings:
Use Built in Account: Local System -> correct or should it be sys.lyncsql as I mentioned before?
Virtual Directory: ReportServer_LYNCSQL
URL: http://servername:80/ReportServer_LYNCSQL

Firstly, you need make sure Web Service URL and Report Manager URL could be opened in both Lync FE and SQL server.
If prompt authentication chanllenges you have to change the built in account with "Network Service".
Furthermore, make sure firewall is turned off when troubleshooting to rule out ports and connection issue.

How to deploy Forms and Reports from 6i to Web Base

I am using Forms 6i in client/server mode, I want to upgrade my platform to Forms 10g web base. I know that I have to install Application Server, however, I found that there are so many options in the download page, and, I can only find the WebLogic Server.
I only need to deploy Forms and Reports, what is the minimum requirements (I means what Oracle software) I have to purchase.
Can you provide also the download link? any document can teach me how to deploy Forms and Reports? (only Forms and Reports)

You can import Crystal Reports and you can give Authorization for Crystal Reports like normal Authorization as SAP has that Provision.

we like to create a JSP report with web and paper layout. The paper layout is for pdf and the web layout to fit the page in the whole application. The whole application will be a JSF application running on 10.1.3. The reason why we like to use Reports is the capability of creating pdf and because of a couple of charts we have to build - using chart builder.
Now the question is how the JSP has to be deployed because the Reports engine is running on another 10.1.2 server. So the JSP itself has to run on 10.1.3 but the Report has to run on 10.1.2 - is it possible, a problem or is it just easy?

Based on my understanding, this report could not be edited. You may need to try creating another report to achieve this:

There's not enough info to help troubleshoot the issue as there could be many reasons for the error to occur. One thing that does come to mind is that you may be missing a runtime file. Make sure you used the Crystal Reprots merge modules (msm) or the windows installer (.msi) to install the CR runtime on the web server. There's a lot of info on the BOBJ support site and the <a href="http://devlibrary.businessobjects.com/BusinessObjectsXIR2SP2/en/devsuite.htm" target="_blank">DevLibrary</a> on how to deploy CR applications.It might be worth calling the BOBJ support team to help troubleshoot in case there is some specific configuration in your deployment that could be causing the error.-MJ

Deploy Forms and Reports with Load Balancing

I am trying to determine what we need to install here. I have read OracleAS, Web Cache, Application Server, and
Forms documents and have no answer still.
We are currently run 9iAS with Forms and Reports 6i only.
I did not do any of those installs. We are migrating to
Forms and Reports 10g. I need to setup an OracleAS 10g
Forms and Reports application server with the ability to
do Load Balancing over 2 windows Web servers to handle
4,000+ users. The application database will be on its own
Windows server.
Do I need to install the Infastructure, BI, and Web cache?
Or just Oracle 10g Application Server option? Or other?
Do I need to install it on both web servers and do
something like clustering? Do I need to install Web
cache? I just took the 10g AS class and basically did not learn anything about deploying Forms and Reports.
Can anyone give me a place to find the things I need to
install and setup?

I am a DBA and have not done an iAS or AS installation
before but am now required to learn it. We will be using
SSL and no load balancing hardware. We setup for other
customer sites and setting Windows servers in the past.
We have not done load balancing before.
I am just confused with all the 10gAS options there are to
install to just run 10g Forms and Reports and setup
OracleAS 10g with the load balancing features.
So I just need to install OracleAS Forms and Reports
Server if I am just installing Forms and Reports with SSL.
But if for Load Balancing Oracle 10g I need to cluster
just Reports 10g? I thought I would need OracleAS10g
installed on my two Windows servers and somehow cluster
or let the two know they are the same web page handling
the incoming requests? I do know about Apache redirct. Is
that an Apache feature and is it covered in an Oracle
documentation? They did not cover it in class either.

Well you just need to create a directory in paste your forms there, and then make an entry in the formsweb.cfg file and forms.conf files. Likewise there are entries for the images and report.

If you don't just want to upgrade your database, simply open the report project (which should be on your local file system) and edit the report properties, changing the Report Server URLs appropriately to the new SharePoint server URLs.

Deployed the same report twice

I am running SQL2008 R2, with Visual Studio 2005. I thought I selected to build the reports in VS, but must have selected build and deploy.
I have deployed the same report twice. Both reports have exactly the same file name. The original report has been configured with for a while. The new report i accidentally deployed recently.
I have tried going into the properties of the new report via the Report Manager and selecting DELETE, but it generates an rsINTERNALERROR.
The subscriptions for the 2 reports are different. How do i remove the second deployed report?

If I understand correctly, you want to deploy the original report to report server. However, for some reason, the new one report is deployed. As per my understanding, a report will overwrite the same name report when we deploy it to the same folder on report
server. So we can directly deploy the original report to replace the new one to fix this issue.
As to rsInternalError, we can review the report server log files to determine the specific cause for this message. By default, the log files are located at \Microsoft SQL Server\MSRS10_50.<instancename >\Reporting Services\LogFiles.
If there are any misunderstanding, please elaborate the issue for further investigation.

ACS Reports empty

Hello All,
I've got a SCOM 2012 SP1 setup with 3 servers:
1 SQL, 1 RMS, 1 ACS Collector server.
I've got 14 forwarders setup to forward to the collector.
The issue we are currently facing is that whenever we run the ACS reports, no data is returned..
When I check the SCOM Console under the Audit Collection Server node for the health of the collector and forwarders, then I don't see any errors.
Both the collector and forwarders are healthy.
Using AdtAdmin I ran the query to get the stats, there I can see that the forwarders are definitely sending data to the collector.
I've also checked the database and in the dtEvent tables, I can see that data is in there.
When checking the dtEventData tables, they are empty.. IS this supposed to be, or should data be in there?

The connection to the database is set using SQL authentication using the SA account.
So authentication should be an issue..
Does anybody have an idea what could be causing the reports to be empty?

How to deploy SAP BI report to BO

I am a BI Consultant and a newbie to BO. I want to know how to deploy the current SAP BI queries to BO.
I have downloaded and installed SAP BOBJ Edge series 3.1(trial version). I have also downloaded the "Integration kit for SAP" but could not install it as the Product ID has expired (valid for 90 days since June 09).
Can someone guide me on the step by step procedure to deploy the BI reports to BO? I have already read about the "Step by step installation guide to integrate BO with SAP" but not sure on how to deploy the reports.
