Deployment of Webdynpro gives Fatal error

Hi All,
I am deploying a webdynpro application in one of my clustered environment. The webdynpro has its own authentication. I am able to deploy the .ear file thro Visual Admin. But my run the same I see all the users including the administrator users get locked. I am unlocking administrator using sap* emergency user. SO next time the UME page asks me to assign a new password for administrator and I do it. But when I go to the SLD page I am seeing all the buttons like "Create JCo Destination", " Maintain JCo Destination" etc being disabled.
I am stuck up here. Can anybody help me.
The same webdynpro application runs ok in my other WebAS server which has the SLD configured on the same J2EE engine.
Wat cud be the reason.
suitable answers will be rewarded.
Regards,
Balaji Sundaram.

Acrobat X Pro does not open and gives fatal error - "Acrobat failed to send a DDE command"
It either does the above or the application starts and is listed in the system processes but never physically opens on the desktop for viewing.

AA 9 will not work for anything but the print function from WORD 2010. The only version of Acrobat that is compatible with OFFICE 2010 for PDF Maker is AA X. Thus, open WORD and print to the Adobe PDF printer. Then open the pdf in Acrobat. Go to FORMS>Add or Edit fields. Since you have no fields at present, Acrobat will ask if you would like to detect form fields. Answer yes and you will get a first cut at the form fields. Yes, you will likely have to add some more and change the ones that Acrobat estimates, but you are on your way.
The other two options you have is to go back to WORD 2007 or earlier or upgrade to AA X (or find someone with AA X and WORD 2010). These methods are pretty much your options with the software combination that you have.

  • Migrated to new iMac- CS4 gives fatal error

I used the migration assistant to move files and apps from my old laptop to a new iMac that is running Mac OS X 10.7.2. WHen I try to open a file in Photoshop I get the following error:
    fatal Error- missing component
    /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Adobe Version Cue CS4/Client/4.0.0/VersionCue.framework
I saw some posts about Version Cue etc but I'm not sure what is what with that. I tried to uninstall and I get an errro message so I can't even do that now. I am stuck.
    Thanks for your help.

LMGehling honestly I would recommend starting from the beginning again.  Some of the worst support issues I have experienced with customers is when they have used the Migration Assistant/EZ transfer type solutions.  The migration should go a lot faster if you tell it to only transfer settings and documents.
You can try manually removing the items related to Adobe on your system.  They should primarily be located in the following locations:
    Library/Application Support/Adobe
    User/<UserName>/Library Application Support/Adobe

  • Cfdisk gives fatal error

    Hi,
I have just tried to install archlinux, without success. My machine is a Compaq Evo N1015v laptop. I have previously had success with Gentoo, so I know that Linux supports my laptop.
The cd appears to boot fine, after which I ran /arch/setup. At the menu to partition the disk it runs cfdisk, which fails with "FATAL ERROR: cannot read disk drive" (and sometimes "hda: bad " something-or-other about reading the disk). I have tried running cfdisk manually with the correct /dev/disc/... argument and get the same result.
I have read other accounts of people using this model of laptop (on different distros), saying various kernel options that might help. I have tried them all with no success.
I have previously found that Debian will only boot (similar problem) with "acpi=on" given at boot. It doesn't work here, but could this be an ACPI (or lack of) problem?
    Thanks for any assistance,
    Pete

Hmm... okay, maybe you need ACPI then.  The install kernel does not have ACPI support, I left it out for size considerations.
I'll try to squeeze it in for 0.7, but if you really want to install Arch before 0.7 goes out, you'll have to install via an "alternative" approach, if you're up to it.
You'll need a LiveCD or some intermediate linux system, so you can boot up with ACPI support to install Arch. (the stock Arch kernels have ACPI, just not the boot one).

Checking on a possible cause of similar symptoms. Have you ever install an ACE or K-Lite Mega Codec pack, a copy of QT Alternative or QT Lite, or a copy of Storm Codec on that PC?
(Checking on this because those programs, and some others, can install "QuickTime" componentry on the PC that can break a copy of the QuickTime on the PC, and as a consequence break iTunes. The "fatal error" when attempting to uninstall QuickTime is often a symptom of that, too.)

  • Error in deploying a WebDynpro application

    Hi All,
I created a WebDynpro application and was unable to deploy it from NWDS. I had made all possible configurations like
    1. setting the host name and IP address in the hosts file
    2. Stating the server name instead of local host in the J2EE preferences of NWDS
But, still was unable to deploy it from NWDS. As I went through some of the workaround solutions stated on sdn I followed them and tried deploying via sdm and that deployment worked.
Later, I got the port 500018 opened so that I would be able to deploy from remote system using NWDS.
But, now when I try deployment I just realise that the WebDynpro Runtime in Visual Admin is inactive and am not in a position to even deploy the application via sdm.
The error thrown is stated below:
    ===========================================================================

Can someone please help me and let me know as to how I could get the WebDynpro back to active status.
Thanks for all your help in advance,
    Best regards,
    Divya Rao

    Hi Divya,
You could try with the Console Administrator. Open a command prompt and execute:
    telnet localhost 50008
    [login]
    > jump 0
    > startservice webdynpro
Now you can check the status like this:
    > lss | grep webdynpro
If it is still stopped check /usr/sap/<SID>/<instance>/j2ee/cluster/server<N>/log/defaultTrace.trc and /usr/sap/<SID>/<instance>/j2ee/cluster/server<N>/log/system/server.log for errors.

    Hi Sujana,
For deploying Web Dynpro for Java application, J2EE_admin correct password must be stored in the scured area of config tool.
Your error show that J2EE_admin information is not correct.
So, Please ask your basis team to update new J2EE_ADMIN password or you can do it in scured area of config tool.
    Hope this will helps you.

There have been several posts tonight with this issue. I would suggest waiting until tomorrow and then try again. There may be an issue with the server you are connecting to.

double check to make sure your EAR file is correctly constructed. That could be a problem as well.
