Deployment Status not reflecting correct application installation status

Morning All,
Running into an issue where the application Deployment Status does not properly reflect the state of the application install.
The software installs, works properly and is reported in Software Center on the client PC as being installed succesfully however the status within CAS shows "In Progress" with a description of "Program started".
The application in question is Cisco Network Access Manager which terminates the network connection and requires a reboot before restoring. Additionally the site is behind a NAC switch which adds another layer of security to the network at that loation.
Currently I have deployed to 90 test machines - 65 of which have reported in as succesfull, the remaining 25 have installed and are working but are not being updated in the Deployment Status.
I have checked the Sender.log on the site server and link analyzer between the primary & secondary. I have also checked the client heartbeat and statemessage.log all seems well - no errors reported.
Additionally I have reviewed the WMI status on the client and repaired (just in case).
Through google search I have also ran the following:

As well as forcing a check in from the client and running the summarization on the CAS.
So far nothing seems to trigger an update. I'm hoping someone can point me in the proper direction in regards to diagnosing this problem.

802.1x accounting does not reflect correct port status

Hi,
I've just discovered an issue when trying to use MSFT supplicant and Cisco 802.1x accounting. This makes 802.1x accounting completely unusable.
Facts:
1. MSFT supplicant does not send EAPOL-Logoff messages and there's no way to enable this (btw. Aegis client does not send it either, except when disabling interface).
2. I am doing machine authentication along with domain authentication.
3. Windows XP SP2 is used with EAP registry hacks applied.
4. PEAP/MS-CHAPv2 method is used.
Now when the computer is started it is logged into 802.1x with 'host/machine' account and RADIUS accounting start is sent by the switch. That's fine.
When a user logs on with its 'domain\user' identity, then EAPOL-Start is sent from the host triggering new EAP message exchange and the user is authenticated correctly. However the switch sends Interim Accounting still using 'host/machine' credentials which is obviously wrong.
Even more bizarre accounting happens when the user subsequently logs off from the machine. The EAPOL-Start is sent from the host triggering new authentication process for 'host/machine' identity and the host is authenticated ok. The accounting being sent is:
- first Accounting Stop for 'host/machine' User-Name
- then strange Interim Accounting with most attributes empty or missing

So that the accounting sent from the switch does not reflect current status of the authenticated user on a given port.
How to deal with this issue? Any ideas?

Messages are not reflecting correctly

I have created message ABC from the front end.
later I have changed to content of the message, changed message content is not reflecting in OAF even after bouncing the apache.

hi mahesh,
After changing message content in EBS , you need to close the jdeveloper and open again to see changed messages.
where as in application(ebs) apache bounce required for changed content.

SAP R3 FCC 6.0 - AR Aging FBL5N did not reflect correct balance

AR aging report (S_ALR_87012173 Customer Open Items for printing) or AR Aging T-code FBL5N did not show correcct balance which will show 100% original invoice balance even we applied the partial payment. Anyone has same problem? If not, what caused this probelm since I can not send statment to customers and need do it in Excel. Thanks,

Hi PPIO: I used FBL5N but all partial payment did not deduct from original invoice if you short of 0.01 cent, that is why I am trying other reports from SAP. How you retrieve data and create your customized reports in R3? We will implement BW in April 2012 but do we need any report tool to create our own reports?
Our internal SAP administrator told me the FBL5N can NOT display correct balance due that is can not do task. I can not believe it, Can you teach me why we got incorrect balance due and what caused the problem? Tks.

Master not reflected correctly

I have the master looking correctly but it is not reflexed correctly in the pages. The gray rectangle is behind the name in the master but it is infront on the page. See below:

Thanks for your feedback. This is a known bug that is part of a larger issue that we are working on. For now, the way to get around this is to group the logo image and the gray strip together.

Job status of Business Rules not reflecting correctly in Hyperion Planning

Hi,
In our Planning Web Application version 11.1.2.1 (Classic application), we have issue with the Business Rules not changing the job status from Processing to Complete.
Essentially giving an indication to users that the job is taking longer than expected.
Having noticed that behavior, when we cross check with Admin credentials (Application Logs ) HBR Launch.log. The End Time of the job is updated promptly.
We have couple of SRs Open with Oracle but they concluded it’s a bug and need to upgrade to 11.1.2.2. But currently we do not have any plans to upgrade to the latest version.
In order to force the Status change to mark it as Complete at the SQL Server backend.
We have to update the status table HYP_JOB_STATUS manually via database update.
But this is laborious process.
Did anyone encounter such issue? Please suggest a feasible option here ?

We do not have any issue with calc rules; we are facing this issue with Business rules.
We have looked into the logs in both Applcation logs and Essbase logs nothing found strange except couple of .xcp files were generated in Essbase server. We have sent those .xcp files to Oracle for investigation. We have also noticed that Web Logic server was not hand shaking properly with Hyperion Server. Oracle responded with few application settings which we are already sycn with recommended settings.
We had the same issue in 8 months back and the same repeated now.

Emctl status dbconsole does not reflect correct status of dbcontrol

Emctl status dbconsole command shows that the Oracle Enterprise Manager 10g is not running. But in fact that I can access the Enterprise Manager and it is running.It seems that the emctl status dbconsole command show incorrect status about the dbconsole.
Why and how to solve this problem?

It might work if you had an operating system. However, you do not have one.
Or at least you are very reluctant to tell us which one you use.
And troubleshooting techniques differ based on OS.

BPM Process deployed but not listed in Applications in BPM Workspace

Any idea on this? It seems to be deployed correctly based on the JDeveloper logs, and it seems I've set the organization settings to include the user/s I'm testing with. Have I missed something?

Reversal Indicator Field Not reflecting Correctly In BW

Hi All,
The deletion indicator coming from the DataSource 2LIS_02_ITM is not working properly for few entries and in BW its mapped to Reversal Indicator (Storno)
When we checked, we found that the deletion indicator is not working for the items which are non-statistical in a Purchase Order.
The problem is the Non statistical items when deleted in a PO in R/3, in EKPO table the deletion indicator is set to 'X' for these PO's but when extracted into BW the Reversal Indicator Field is coming as blank but it should be reflected as "R" as per OSS note 578471. But these changes are not getting reflected into BW.
Any suggestions guys?

Also, what is happening is that the record with KF's as negative and Reversal Indicator as "R" is coming in PSA as well as in New Data table, but when activated its disappearing from the new data table.
Finally its displaying in Change Log table with both the records i.e original one and the deleted one but again without Reversal Indicator "R".
--> This behavior very much fine. Datasource:2LIS_02_ITM is to load for CUBE not to ODS.

Iphone 6 -- iOS 8.1.3 -- screen constantly freezing, Apps instantly crashing, Photos not deleting, iMessages disappearing, iCloud not reflecting correct backups

Ever since downloading iOS 8.1.3 on my iPhone 6, I've been experiencing quite a few issues (I am assuming all are related to the update, but not sure)
I apologize in advance for the lengthy post! Here goes:
     • Screen constantly freezes--sometimes it freezes on the home screen (no apps open), other times when I am in Settings, Photos or any of my downloaded apps. Each time this happens I have to restart the phone by holding the home and lock buttons in order to unfreeze the screen...this happens approximately 4-5x per day.
     • All of my apps either freeze or crash upon opening, and my Mail app either refuses to stay open or it will show an empty inbox with 'no mail' --even though my email has always been synced to the phone.
     • I am not receiving a lot of iMessages or incoming calls to my iPhone, but most of the missing iMessages will appear on my MacBook Pro. And when I do receive iMessages normally, entire portions of certain conversations--both sent & received--keep disappearing (whether my iphone is on all day or if I have to restart it). *the convo that has gone MIA on my iPhone will still appear on the other persons phone.
     • When I open Messages or Recent Call logs, the contact names do not appear..only 10-digit phone numbers. (Even though all of the #s are saved by name in Contacts).*This has only happened a few times so far.*
     • Furthermore--and most frustrating!--my camera and photos are practically inaccessible. Almost every time I open 'Photos', the app crashes.. I have no available storage to use the camera so when I try to select photos and hit 'delete' the app crashes instead of deleting the photos.
     • I have considered performing a factory reset... however, my iCloud states I have 4.6gb available (w/ 5gb plan) even though my photos are turned on in iCloud, and should be taking up most of the 5gb storage space..they appear 'On,' but do not show up under 'Manage Storage'...the only apps/documents/data shown are WhatsApp and Mail so I am afraid to reset the phone as I have no idea if the photos are actually backed up or not.   (Screenshots are attached)
If anybody has been experiencing any of the same issues I would greatly appreciate your insight or advice for how to fix this! I'm hoping it is just a bug with the new iOS software and not an issue with my phone itself as it is only 3 months old.. Thank you in advance!

**Adding to the final photo in my original post... When I select the 'Kendall Anderson's...This iPhone' using 324.2MB, Photo Library is turned 'On', but has 'No Data'....I know this is not possible because my photos that were previously backed up used up ~3.5GB of storage.
Either I am doing something wrong here, or my iPhone just has a mind of its own with this new update!

I am working with SAP CRM 7.0. We have a workflow in the system which is triggered at the creation of complaint(BO:BUS2000220) and then assign the complaint workitem
in the woklist of specified agent. I have created a report and scheduled it daily to forward the complaint into the worklist of user B from worklist of user A after 7 days

Can someone help me how to change the sent date to actual forwarded date of complaint.

There is a standard column in UWL with name 'Sent Date'. Other functionalities in UWL for example deadline monitoring (Due date column) are based on this sent date. This shows an employee what was the date workitem was created (sent date) and when it will get escalated (due date). Displaying forwarding date in Sent date will not give clear picture to employee as the deadline will be calculated based on sent date only not based on forwarding date. this was just an example.
even though if your client is insisting, i dont think it can be done without any enhancement in UWL web dynpro com sort of thing. you can check with your portal consultant too.

MICR Font not reflecting in Application

1. Log in as XML Publisher Administrator.
2. Navigate to Administration->Font Files->Create Font File.
3. Fields are Font Name and File. For Font Name choose any descriptive name. File will browse your PC to locate the font file.
4. Navigate to Font Mappings->Create Font Mapping Set.
5. Mapping name is the name you will give to a set of fonts. MICR Font
6. Mapping code is the internal name you will give to this set. MICR
7. Type: 'PDF Form' for PDF templates. 'FO to PDF' for all other template types.
8. Create Font Mapping (this allows you to add multiple fonts to a set).
9. Font Family is the exact same name you see in Word under Fonts. If you don't use the same name the font will not be picked up at runtime. GnuMICR
10. Style and weight must also match how you use the font in Windows. Normal and Normal are good defaults. Normal, Normal
11. DO NOT enter Language or Territory
12. Choose a value for Font Type. Truetype
13. Search for the Font you just created in step 3. GnuMICR
14. Navigate to Configuration -> FO Processing -> Font Mapping Set. Can also be done at data def and template level under Edit Configuration. Hierarchy is Site-> Data Def -> Template.
15. Select your new mapping set.
16. Make sure the font is not referenced under File->Properties->Custom in the RTF template file.
17. Select a temporary directory on your concurrent processing node (Configuration -> General). This needs to be a private area not shared by other processes, read writeable by the applmgr (owner of the $APPL_TOP file system). It should be fairly large 5 GB or 20x larger than any datafile being used. The fonts will be downloaded here the first time they are used.
18. Also at this site level select your font mapping set.
19. Upload a template that uses your special font and test using preview
I am able to preview the GnuMICR font in XML Publisher but when i do the payment and format the payment, the GnuMICR font is not getting displayed as displayed in the preview. Please let me know, what i am missing.

Not opening correct application

I updated my iMac today via the Apple upload, and since, I have had a problem with opening readable pages, such as pdf files, and another named a ".do" file. Now, I have to save (to my desktop seems easiest) and then double click the .pdf file I just saved (for example) and that will open it in adobe.
How can I set a preference (again) for any pdf files to automatically open in adobe reader?

no good. When I highlight a pdf file, that has been saved on my desktop, If I then hit C+1 all I get is that 'clunk' tone. If I right click on the saved pdf file, I get a dropdown menu that allows me to choos 'open with' and the adobe reader is one of the choices...HOWEVER, there is no 'open files like this' choice.
Also, if I right click in the button for the file in the active web page, without saving first to my desktop, a dropdown menu appears, but 'open with' is not available as a choice....just 'open link in new window, open link in new tab, save, save as...etc

Upcoming Events in sidebar not reflecting correct time

I create an event on my wiki/group calendar. It shows up on the sidebar under Upcoming Events. When I place my cursor over the item listed under Upcoming Events, everything is correct except the time. The time is about 2-3 hours off. Any ideas?

I am having the same problem. If you click on the events in the sidebar, my time is about 5 hours off, but if you browse the calendar through the wiki server, the events are at the correct time on the weekly and daily grids. If you then click on the event in the grid, it gives you the incorrect time. I have confirmed this with Safari and Firefox as the browser.

AMOUNTS ARE NOT REFLECTING CORRECTLY IN REPORT MB51 REPORT.

I am facing some issue regarding Report MB51. We have sold some material say "X" for the month of Sep. Now when I run the GL for particular store from where we have sold the material it shows sales value for the period. But when I run the report MB51 for material "X" it shows me some different value. Can anyone tell me why it is showing the difference.

You may want to select the "no Printer" option instead, this will force CR to use a higher resolution. Look in page setup, printer options.
