Deployment Wizard Fails in 10g AS

Deployment Wizard fails in 10g AS when attempting to upload an .ear file. It throws the following error:
ClassNotFoundException: ias.oc4j._deploywiz._selectAppDest
This error started when during the upload procedure I lost internet connectivity. It has happened consistently since then.
I have restarted the OC4J instances, the entire machine and even created a brand new instance of OC4J all to no avail. I can no longer deploy .ear files on an OC4J instance on the machine.
Should I just give up and reinstall the entire server?

368659, I am not sure what has happened to your 10g AS instance; can you check if you have the following file?
<ORACLE_HOME>/sysman/webapps/emd/ias/oc4j/deployWiz/selectAppDest.uix
If you has not stuck to the installation yet, reinstallation might be a better idea as the installation will be a breeze except that it takes a few minutes.

JDev 3.2 Deployment wizard failed to show public static methods in step #3.

JDeveloper 3.2 and 3.1 Deployment Wizard ( step #3) does not show any public static methods being deployed as Java stored procedures. The "settings" button is disabled.
Is this a demo version of the tool ?

It's probably easier to add them all and remove the ones you don't want. Admittedly this is a bit cumbersome, because the 3.2 navigator doesn't allow multiple selection..
(one area that's much better in 9i :) )

Import Lightswitch 2013 app via IIS/Deploy wizard - fails on SQL generation - HTML client.

I've been struggeling with this for sometime now. And keep getting "An error occured during the execution of the database script..........The error occured between the following lines of the script "5963" and "5982"....DECLARE @currentUser
nvarchar(128)"
The scenario is that this is a server with no internet connection. So I had to go through webpicmd.exe on a laptop downloaded all the necessary file whith VSLS4NOSQL. Memorystick to server and then installed the prereqs.
The database server is set to Windows Auth. only and I am not allowed to set this to mixed mode. I had set up the application with ad authentication, then forms and now nothing just to test. I still keep getting the same ******* error.
I have also tested it in a dev environment but same message here.
The db gets created on the SQL server, but thats about it. Paul van Bladel mentioned something about running the script directly on the SQL server, but it keeps popping up with even more errors. If someome could please give me the babysteps on how to perform
an installation by importing a LS application and getting it up an running I would be very thankful (what I have found of information so far, doesn't help me much)

Please somebody must have experience the same thing as me here??
Here are the steps I've been doing so far
1. I create a new website in IIS (and create a new folder for my LS webapplication under inetpub)
2. Website gets created, I then under Deploy, chose import application, browse to the zip file, and then chose next.
3.Leave everything checked under Package contains...
4. Enter conncetion string, with name of SQL Server and DBname, under credentials I set it to Use Windows Integrated Security (the other options keeps failing on me)
5. Enter the name of the databaseserver again, and same with DBName
6. Under DBUserName I enter the credentials for a user I created on the SQL Server with SQL Server authentication as I can't seem to use Windows Auth. here.
7. Enter the application path (I set it here to the folder I created under inetpub).
8. The Package starts to deploy, everything seems fine. But it comes up with a warning "Cannot connect to the database 'databasename'
9. In IIS I then go to Basic Settings and edit the Physical path to C:\inetpub\path\HTMLClient, I have also edited the hostfile.
10. I start the website and browse to it, the page loads, but with a nice fat red line saying
Request failed with status code 0 and status text ".
11. In Edit Site-->Connect as --> It is set to Application user, and the AppPool for the application is set to ApplicationPoolIdentity.
12. As for now I have set no authentication in the LS app I made, but I would when I get this to work set it to Forms Based or Windows/AD auth for users in the domain.

I am working with Oracle Warehouse Builder, and I can generate all my project and I can also register my jobs in OEM by OWB.
Now I'm trying to run the "Workflow Deployment Wizard", in order to schedue my jobs into Workflow.
I need to do that, and I've already installed the "Oracle Workflow Server" in the same machine where the Oracle9iAS is located (SUN).
The infrastructure database is located in another SUN machine.
In order to install Oracle Workflow Server in Oracle9iAS, I followed the instructions to install InterConnect, that has embeded the Workflow.
In the workflow login, I connect with the user "owf_mgr" and I follow
clicking next untill the end. In the last window, "Finish", I keep selected the box "Do you want to deploy Workflow Process into Oracle Enterprise Manager?" and click "Finish".
So, only the first 3 jobs are created into OEM, the "Item Type". Afther that, the following error message appears:
WKF0012: Oracle Enterprise Manager job registration failed:
WKF0013: Oracle Enterprise Manager job registration failed.
Verify that the Oracle Management Server is running and that the
Oracle Enterprise Manager Directory parameter in the warehouse module is configured correctly.
Does anyone have any idea of what's happening here? I'd very glad if you could help me.

HTTP error 401 usually means that HTTP authentication is required. While installing the solution you should have been asked for username/password ?

ORAWEB_HOME/admin/websitename/httpd_machinename/www.
In the [Server] portion of parameters change the 'FileCaching'
parameter to "OFF".

After I fill in all the information in Workflow Deployment Wizard and press Finish Button. It displays the following Error messages:

The results SUM(F4) given by query1 and query 2 do not matchSince the group by clause is not same, the result of sum can be different.

yet another issue with deploying a masterdisk. I will give you a short explanation of the situation.
I need to deploy Windows 8.1 PRO x86.
Using: Microsoft Deployment Workbench Microsoft Version: 6.2.5019.0
1. Reference PC: Windows 8.1 PRO x86 is installed on ORACLE Virtual Box.
2. I installed MDT on my workstation Windows 7 x64, where "C:\DeploymentShare\Windows8" is located.
3. To change the Unattended.xml file, I have second ORACLE Virtual Box with
Windows 8.1 PRO x86 with MDT, which connected to the DeploymentShare of Windows 7 x64.
- The reason is because the Reference PC is x86 and the Unattended.xml file can be changed only if MDT is installed on x86 Windows, otherwise it is not possible.
The image capture is successful.
Then I create bootable USB device using rufus-1.4.12.exe. I use: C:\DeploymentShare\Windows8\Boot\LiteTouchPE_x86.iso
I use a real PC (not virtual machine) and when the deployment starts
I see:
1 Welcome screen, where I select: Run the deployment wizard to install a new operating system.
2. The next screen is an error screen where I see the error:
"Wizard error
A connection to the deployment share (\\ComputerName\C\DeployemntShare )could not be made
DHCP Lease was not obtained for any Networking devices!
Possible cause: Check physical connection
I am relatively new with MDT.
Any suggestions are more than welcome.

Yesterday, I figured out that I need to create an offline bootable disk.
The issue is caused, because creating a bootable disk with rufus.exe include only the ISO file and not the WIM file. That is the reason why during OS installation process it asks me for the shared folder...

I'm working on our CI process for auto-publishing WebJobs along with a host WebSite for said jobs. This isn't working, but that's not the point at the moment.
The site in question is called devpandajobhost.azurewebsites.net and I have created (and deleted
and recreated) and published to this site successfully many times, from both msbuild and VS.
However, earlier today, my publish commands have started failing with

It looks like the scm site for my site doesn't exist. I have tried deleting and recreating my site several times, through various different mechanisms (VS new project, portal, powershell). The site can be created but when I publish to it I get the error
above.
What is going on?
PS my theory is that I deleted and recreated it and the Azure internal DNS server has got in a pickle

it is not only internal Azure DNS but your DNS provider as well. Since DNS records are propagated and cached (and negative cached as well) you need to wait for some time for negative cache to expire.
I see no good reason to go through the cycle of creating new site every time unless this is your scenario. If so you can delete the old one and create always sites with new name.

You're right, I restarted the server again and again...
I have just opened the sr in metalink, it has been confirmed as a bug. Unfortunately there's no way to workaround. What I can do now is waiting for the solution.

Issue when trying to deploy Monitoring Server Reports on Deployment Wizard

Hi all.
I have to install the Monitoring Server Role on a server that already has the Lync Server 2010 up and running.
I'm new to Lync Server so my experience with the product is limited, so I need some help with an issue.
I followed the Deployment Guide and for now I managed to do the following:
- Installed an SQL Server 2008 Standard with SP1 with SSRS also;
- Updated the Topology to include a Monitoring Server, and also published the new topology;
- Installed the new components of the monitoring server.
I can also refer that the SQL Server Instances and Lync Server Front-End are in the same server h where I'm installing the monitoring server, and there is only one Front End Pool.
As far as I can tell everything was successfully done, and I couldn't find any errors until now.
And finally the issue appeared when I wanted to deploy the Monitoring Server Reports to the Reporting Services Server.
In the deployment Wizard of the Lync Server 2010 the link for that option is disabled, no further information is given.
I tried to find on the ISO and .exe or .msi files that could deploy the reports, but could not find any.
I believe it isn't a problem of permissions of the user because i followed the documentation.
I hope someone can help me find the problem, and if possible a solution for it.

From your description above, it is a Lync Server 2010 Enterprise Edition and you deploy Monitoring Server in the same Server with FE Server.
If it is the case, you may meet unknown issues as you must deploy Monitoring Server on a separate Server. You can only collocate Monitoring Server with Archiving Server.
Please try to delete the Monitoring Server configuration in Lync Topology and then republish topology, and rerun Step 2. After these, please deploy Monitoring Server with a Separate Server and test if the issue happen again.

Import Wizard fails to export - object could not be written in the ids-file

Hello,
the complete export of the BO environment into a biar-file with the import wizard fails. In the wizard's dialog every option is choosen as "all". When the export is started it stops already in the folder objects. The log file says the object allocation could not be written in the ids-file. So I presume a problem with references.
In order to figure out which object is responsible for the error I varied the export and finally identified the "repository objects" as the the responsible type of objects. When I now run the export and only use the needed repository objects it works fine.
But I don't know, if export is complete (I presume it).
Has anyone a idea what the reason can be for this problem? Can it be fixed in the database? This kind of export did work fine the week before.

Could you quote the entire error message, word-for-word, verbatim? What Import settings are you using ... Copy, Move, Add?
Most likely you have a permissions issue, but it will be much more clear to me if I can see the entire message.

How do I get Ant task deploy to fail on error within an ojdeploy-build ?

I am calling ojdeploy on an xml file with several <deploy> tasks within the <ojdeploy-build> task.
FYI this dramatically increases performance when doing several deployments.
I want to find a way to have the script stop with an error as soon as one of the <deploy> tasks fails with an error (such as a compile error). It does not currently do this.
Is there a way to get the script to stop as soon as a <deploy> task fails within the outer <ojdeploy-build> task?
(eg. could I somehow check the return code for each deploy explicitly and do an exit if the deploy fails)
My Ant book claims that Ant tasks normally fail on error, and when one task fails the Ant script stops at that point. Some Ant tasks (such as exec) have an explicit failonerror attribute which can change this behavior to ignore a non-zero return code from the task and continue executing the Ant script.
It seems to me that the <ojdeploy-build> task has a serious bug where it (probably using java try-catch) ignores the error from <deploy> and keeps going to the next <deploy>, violating a basic design principle of a proper Ant task.
Where can I find the java code for <ojdeploy-build> to confirm my suspicion and then report the bug officially?
Meanwhile, I am very interested in finding some workaround for this bug that preserves having several <deploy> in one script. If I put just one <deploy> in each <ojdeploy-build>, the huge performance improvement is lost.

I played with it some more and it seems that failonerror and resultproperty actually work in JDev 11.1.1.4.0 They are inherited from the [url http://ant.apache.org/manual/Tasks/exec.html]Ant Exec task and work, you just have to set failonerror="true", e.g.
