Deposit return

Hi,
Just wondering how I might go about getting my deposit returned to my bank account? Bought the phone in December, paid a €130 deposit, and was told that in six months it would be returned to me either by crediting my meteor account or bank account. At the time, I didn't know which option would suit me best down the line and so the return option was left as "to be directed", I believe.
It's been nearly 7 months, I've paid 6 bills, and there was no sign of the refund, so I tried to ring customer care without much joy (wasn't sure which option was appropriate so tried a few different times but couldn't get through to an operator), as I understand that after the 6th bill payment the refund should be issued. Because I couldn't get through to customer care, I went into the store I bought the phone from to sort it out and was told they "weren't capable" of refunding it to my bank acct, so they refunded it to my meteor account. When I asked why they couldn't refund to my bank acct and why, if that were the case, I was told in December that they could, the responses were simply "because we can't" and "I don't know, the sales assistant informed you incorrectly", respectively. I thought it was a manager that had set me up with the phone in December and when I said that the sales assistant pointed to the manager, asked if it was him and when I said no it was someone else, he just said "well it wasn't a manager then". He wasn't very helpful and was pretty standoffish.
I've seen and heard of multiple people having it returned to their bank acct, so just wondering if you could sort this out for me please? The full deposit amount is still currently in my meteor account.
Regards,
Bebhinn.

Hi Beeevvv
The credit is issued on to your account however we can of course refund this to your bank account. Unfortunately we can't do that for you here, or in store, one of our customer care agents will be happy to process that refund for you. Just give us a call on 014307085 and wait for the option to speak to a customer care agent. Alternatively you can mail your request to [email protected],
Thanks,
Adam

  • Security deposit return date

    Hello everyone,
    I would like to know that in security deposit what is the relation between start date date and return date and also how return date is moved accordingly with start date ?
    Can any one guide me on these queries..??
    Best Regards,
    Shruti

    Shruti:
    The start date for a cash security is initialy populated at creation but is updated at time of payment (this setting can be turned off in configuration).  This field is meant to identify the date at which the deposit was received.
    The return date is also populated at creation.  Posting area 0800 controls the default value for the return date population.  The return date, having been set, can now be used in automatic deposit monitoring to determine when a deposit might be released/returned to the customer.
    regards,
    bill.

  • Security Deposit Return

    Hi,
    I opened my account around a year and a half ago (around September 2013) and I was originally informed that I would get my deposit back after a year.
    However, I still have not received a check and when I asked customer service through online chat, they just answered that a check had been issued.
    Is there no way to check if the check has been cashed or not and if it hasn't does Verizon re-issue a check??
    I am sure that I have been paying on time (since I use auto-pay) and the deposit was $500 which is NOT a small amount.
    Anybody gone through a similar situation?
    Thanks!

    Yes, I always receive a text message indicating that I have paid on time and just in case something went wrong I checked the billing section of My Verizon before I even asked customer service.
    I know that the check should be issued to the address I signed up with but the problem is I haven't received it.
    I was just wondering if it is possible to get a re-issue (if it is the case that it got lost in the mail) or if it has already been cashed out (which should not be the case).

  • Deposit Return ($400)?

    I have read in numerous places that the service must be active for twelve months with the bill being paid on time and what not, my question is, I started my service and paid my deposit both on the same day, December 1st, 2013. Verizon bills a month in advance, so does that mean that sometime this month of November I should be expecting my deposit refund, or will it be sometime after December 1st, 2014? That is my only question. I have already updated my address on my account to reflect my new address for them to mail it to. Confused about how long it takes to actually receive it, read week or two in one place then a couple billing cycles in another.

        bldunn29 we'll clear up the confusion! After 350 days have been completed, the account will be reviewed for the deposit to be released. If there is a balance on the account, the deposit will be applied. If not, a check will be sent by mail to the Billing Address.

  • Return of Security Deposit

    When a security deposit is returned due to move-out, in FPL9, the return increases the amount of the manual payment that cleared the security deposit by the cleared SD amount or creates an automatic clearing item for non-manual payment clearings in the amount of the cleared SD.  We were told this is "standard" but to me, this does not seem correct. Below is just one example of what displays.  During a customer move-out, what is standard practice and how should the security deposit return appear in FPL9?  Thank you!

    As per Standard practise SD  will be released from Downpaymnet on Final invoice and moved to transfter posting item under 250/10 main /SUb transaction.

  • Security Deposit Refund after one year

    I have paid every phone bill for the past 11 months and I am wondering when I am eligible to have my security deposit returned. I have had no luck with other inquiries I have made regarding this deposit in the past.

        Hi Brandon,
    I appreciate your inquiry about the security deposit. In order to be eligible to receive a security deposit refund in full, the account must meet several criteria:
      • 350 days of active service (the 350 days begins from the point of activation, not from the time the security deposit is applied to the account).
      • No suspensions due to non-payment.
      • 12 consecutive months of timely, uninterrupted service.
      • No payments returned from bank
    Account balance current (no more than 30 days past due).
      • No related account delinquent or written off requiring payment.
    If the account remains active after one year of service, the security deposit will be automatically refunded within 1 - 2 billing cycles.

    if i change my verizon plan will it effect my security deposit return after a year has passed.

        I know receiving a refund for your security deposit is important MRM6M! We offer the flexibility to change your plan at anytime, without affecting your agreement or your security deposit refund! You will receive a refund for your security deposit, plus interest with 12 months of on time payments.

  • Bank Account Program (using netbeans)

    Can someone please help me with this program I'm trying to create, I'm new to java and am a bit stuck ..
    I created a BankAccount class and want the following capabilities. The bank will be charging a fee for every deposit and withdrawal. Supply a mechanism for setting the fee and modify the deposit and withdraw methods so that the fee is levied. Test your resulting class and check that the fee is computed correctly.
    The bank will allow a fixed number of free transactions (7 deposits or withdrawals) every month, and charge for transactions exceeding the free allotment. The charge is not levied immediately but at the end of the month.
    Supply a new method deductMonthlyCharge to the BankAccount class that deducts the monthly charge and resets the transaction count.
    Produce a test program that verifies that the fees are calculated correctly over several months.
    Enable user input for each program. The input will be used to create the objects.
    Program continues to loop until user chooses to Quit.
    My current code:
    //Main
    package bank;
    import java.util.Scanner;
    public class Main {
        public static void main(String[] args) {
            Scanner in = new Scanner(System.in);

  • Object and class problem

    I have a homework assignment that i cant seem to figure out. I have to create a class that has an id, date when made, balance, interest rate (annually converted to monthly), be able to make a withdraw and show the new balance as well as make a deposit and make a new balance. After that, create a testAccount to test it.
    import java.util.Date;
    class Account1{
         public static int id = 1122;
         public static double balance = 20000;
         public static double annualInterestRate = 0.045;
         public static double withdraw = 2500;
         public static double deposit = 3000;
         Date dateCreated= new Date();
         double monthlyInterestRate = 0;
         public static void Account()//no arg
         public int getid()//constructor for id
              return id;
         public double getbalance()//constructor for balance
              return balance * monthlyInterestRate;
         public double getannualInterestRate()// constructor for annual interest rate
              return annualInterestRate;
         public double getMonthlyInterestRate(double monthlyInterestRate)//method for monthly interest rate
              return monthlyInterestRate = annualInterestRate / 1200;
         public double withDraw ()// method for withdraw
              if (balance >= withdraw)
                   balance -= withdraw;
                   return balance;
              else
               return balance = 0;
         public double deposit ()
              balance += deposit;
              return balance;
         public String toString() {
            return "this returns the original balance " + balance
              + ", the deposit amount " + deposit + ", the withdraw amount "
              + withdraw + ",the id number " + id + ", the monthly interest rate " + monthlyInterestRate ;
    }what am i doing wrong with the date=new date?
    how do i send date to the string?
    how do i invoke the two methods to get a new balance?
    what am i doing wrong with the monthly interest rate?
    below is what i have for the testAccount
    public class Account{
         public static void main(String[] args) {
         Account1 account= new Account1();
       System.out.println(account.toString());
    }

    Hye, please explain about the debugging statements. The teach has never explained how to use them to fix our problemsIt just means to add methods that print values at various parts in the program. For example, if you had a method factorial(), like this:
    public int factorial (int x) {
      return x * factorial(x - 1);
    }Then you could add a statement like this to see what's going on:
    public int factorial (int x) {
      System.err.println("x is: " + x);
      return x * factorial(x - 1);
    }Then when you ran this modified version of the program, you'd see that the x keeps getting smaller forever.
    Teachers should show you debugging tricks immediately.
    There are other things you can do, to make debugging easier. You can use a debugger, although that tends to be more labor-intensive than it's worth. A debugger is a program that lets you step through your program line-by-line. You can also follow some idioms to make debugging statements easier, such as:
    private final static boolean DEBUG = true;
    public int factorial (int x) {
      if (DEBUG) System.err.println("x is: " + x);
      return x * factorial(x - 1);
    }If you do this, you can turn off all debugging statements by just setting DEBUG to false and recompiling.
    There are also logging packages that let you specify debugging statements, like log4j or java.util.logging. That's probably overkill at this point though.

  • TestBank problem displaying info

    Write a class called Bank. A bank consists of the customer account number and an initial amount when the account is opened. The customer may deposit money any number of times during the day; similarly, the customer may withdraw money any number of times during the day. Each time a transaction is carried out a printed report of it is made.
    My class Bank is the following..
    public class Bank
    private double account, balance, transaction;
    private int deposit, withdraw;
    public Bank(int dep, int with, double acc, double bal, double tran)
    deposit = dep;
    withdraw = with;
    account = acc;
    balance = bal;
    transaction = tran;
    public int deposit()
    return deposit;
    public int withdraw()
    return withdraw;
    public double getAccountNumber()
    return account;
    public double getBalance()
    return balance;
    public double getTransaction()
    return transaction;
    My TestBank is the following...
    class TestBank
    public static void main(String[] arg)
    Bank b = new Bank(100, "098-055-9325");
    System.out.println("Account: " b.getAccountNumber() "\tOpening balance $" b.getBalance());
    b.deposit(50);
    System.out.println("Deposit $" b.getTransaction() +"\t\tNew balance $"+ b.getBalance());
    b.withdraw(25);
    System.out.println("Withdraw $" b.getTransaction() "\t\tNew balance $" b.getBalance());
    b.deposit(150);
    System.out.println("Deposit $" b.getTransaction() +"\t\tNew balance $"+ b.getBalance());
    the Bank with "new" has an error and I don't know why, and I don't understand the d.deposit(50) and b.withdraw(150) if they don't have the "get" in front of them how am I supposed to display that information. please help. thank you.

            b.getBalance());--------------------
    .."new Bank" in the program Netbeans is underlined in red and I don't know why, It says" cannot find symbol" ..Are either of those classes in a package? If the source you posted it the entire text of the source then the answer is 'no'.
    Are both source files in the same directory?

  • FI-AR v/s FI-CA

    Gurus, do you know whats the aproximate number of customer/documents that would suggest to use FI-CA instead of FI-AR?
    Or in other words, what the recomended aproximated maximum number of customer/documents that you should have to use FI-AR instead of FI-CA?
    Best regards.

    There are no published rules or guidelines for FICA vs FIAR.  One major initial consideration would be the billing solution - several industry solutions (Media, Insurance, Waste & Recycling. Telecommunications, Utilities, etc) are designed to work with FICA and are very integrated with that Financials solution.  Aside from that, FICA offers deeper functionality in many areas like dunning, security deposit, returns, etc.  It is also designed to handle large volumes (and has a lot of automated processes for this reason) and has a more flexible data model than FIAR.
    Here a link to a document that has more detailed analysis.

  • Return date of Security Deposit blank on move out bill

    Dear All,
    When a move out is done on a contract account, if no final bill is issued, the security deposit is released and the return date of the security deposit is filled with the move out date. Else if a final invoice is issued, the the security deposit is released but the return date remains blank.
    Is there some special configuration to be done so that the return date is populated in both cases.
    I am actually working on a statistics report for security deposits, FPD1 gives only summary and FPD2 is limited by BP or Contract Account. No dates or status available to restrict the search.
    Thanks and Regards
