Depreciation not Run value reaches to 95 %

Hi,
KIndly suggest when Asset Depreciation value reached to 95% system will not calculate that material in next depreciation posting run, currently we are using 10% depreciation value on yearly basis.waiting for reply.

This behaviour is only because of residual value 5% specified in depreciation key / single asset master level.
Check in AS02 for single asset at depreciation area level by double clicking on 01 area.
or
Check the depreciation key settings in AFAMA if the cut off key specified in the Scrap value field or
Base value is specified by the scrap value amount.
In the above cases, the depreciation stops posting if it reaches 95% acquisition value.

    Hi,
    As per standard SAP, depreciation can be run at company code level and not at asset level.
    If you just want to check the nature of posting, you can give a single asset and run in 'Test Run' mode.

  • Problems with DBMS_JOB - not running jobs

    Hello,
    for some reason our Database (after night restart - shutdown at 23:00, startup at 0:20) stopped to run jobs from DBMS_JOB. I've enabled them manually (DBMS_JOB.RUN(2334)) - but they still not run after reaching the NEXT_DATE,NEXT_SEC time.
    I've noticed that:
    select * from dba_scheduler_global_attribute where ATTRIBUTE_NAME='CURRENT_OPEN_WINDOW';
    ATTRIBUTE_NAME VALUE
    CURRENT_OPEN_WINDOW TUESDAY_WINDOW
    Current day of week is wednesday not tuesday - and I think that is the reason.
    I've tried this statement:
    SQL> execute DBMS_SCHEDULER.CLOSE_WINDOW(WINDOW_NAME => 'TUESDAY_WINDOW');

  • Asset   Depreciation -  In test Run Value got posted

    Hi All ,
    1. I did the test run in 'AFAB'  . SAP throwed the error becasue of some problem in Cost Center.
    2. So i fixed that bug and tried again .  
    3. But when i see the Asset Explorer  for that asset '1234',  Asset value of the Error Doc got posted in 'Test Run'. How can i able to reverse back that asset value which got posted.
    I want to know, why it got posted eventhough i selected the " Test Run ".
    I want to reverse back that posted value . (onlyError Doc got posted). Or I want to do the depreciation without this asset number '1234'. How can i block that asset number for not to perform the depreciation.
    Kindly advice Pls.

    Hi Vivek,
    In my experience,
    - If you selected "Test Run" then it should be not posted value. So I think there was an accident.
    - You cannot reverse depreciation which has been posted.
    - If depreciation for asset no : "1234" has been posted , let say in period 11, then when you repeat the depreciation for period 11, system will not post duplicate value. So here are what you have to do :
    1. Run AFAB using parameter Reason for Posting Run = "REPEAT RUN". Please tick "TEST RUN"
    2. Check wether asset "1234" will be posted again ( See in Column "Amount to be posted").
    3. If you're okay with the result then execute AFAB again but now, untick the "TEST RUN".

    I treiws upgrading my itunes to the b=newest version and I got the following error:
    "could not write value APSDaemon to \Software\Microsoft\Windows\Current Version\Run. Verrify that you have sufficent access to that key or  contact you support personnel"
    I then went to that key and changed the permissions on it so that for Everyone - it was Full Controll instead of limited and I also changed the permissions for my administrative account which also didn't have full control. I tried to go back to the Itunes installer but it still wouldn't let me continue the process.
    Any help would be much appreciated.

    That's why you want to make a backup of the registry. If you didn't make a backup, use MS system restore to go back. The only values you should remove are UpperFilter or LowerFilter - one or both may be in there and can be removed. If neither value exists, then that is probably why you can't burn and Windows is not recognizing your drive as a writable drive.

  • FA - Asset accidentally deleted but depreciation process was not run

    Hi,
    Accidentally I have deleted an asset that I should not delete but I did not run the depreciation process.
    If I go to Transaction details, it says in status = “Pending”
    Is there any way to rollback this or to cancel the transaction and make the asset active again?

    This are the steps that I made:
    1. Go to Assets -> Asset workbench
    2. Look to the asset and click on retirements
    3. I complete all needed information and save it.
    That´s all what I did. If I go to the transaction, the field status shows "Pending".
    Is there any way to cancel this retirement?

  • AR29N Depreciation not completely posted for asset

    Hi,
    I am trying to do an asset revaluation using  transaction AR29N
    However, the following message appears when the transaction is executed
    Diagnosis
    Depreciation still has to be posted for asset.....
    System Response
    The asset cannot be processed
    Procedure
    Execute a depreciation posting run for the period 001/2011
    I have already executed a depreciation run using transaction code AFAB for the period 001/2011. When I go to Asset Explorer AW01N under the posted values tab I am seeing depreciation posted for the period 01 for the year 2011.
    Therefore, I do not understand why the system will still issue a message execute a depreciation posting run.
    Any assistance will be greatly appreciated.

  • Depreciation Re-run

    Dear Experts,
    There are two scenarios, needed to be solved quite urgently.
    Scenario A: 
    A fixed asset depreciation will be run soon for December 2011 and due to incomplete documents at the time being, the finance user would like to re-run the depreciation after she has received the relevant asset invoices which are to be capitalized in year 2011.
    As I understand that SAP allows you to execute depreciation re-run function only for the previous period, the period which you have last posted to.
    However, for the first depreciation run, she will be posting to period 12 of 2011. However, the asset invoices will only be received and capitalized on the period 13, 2011.
    My concern is that the depreciation re-run will only be posted to preiod 12 and if the assets are only capitalized on the preiod 13, will those said assets be capitalized and depreciated properly?
    Scenario B: 
    The finance user found out that after running the depreciation run, there are actually one more asset to be capitalized which is not included in the depreciation run. What will be the individual depreciation method if : -
    1)     Asset is to be capitalized within 15 days (before year end closing)
    2)     Asset is to be capitalized after 15 days (after year end closing)
    Your urgent advices are needed.

    In Depreciation posting you have an option to do repeat run in AFAB, which means the depreciation will be calculated again and any difference in postings will be posted now. This can be done only for the last posted period.
    Scenario 1
    If you capitalise in period 13, 2011 with value date in period 12,2011, then while posting depreciation for period 13, system will post depreciation for period 12 and 13 together in period 13 i.e for two months together in the current period. Your depreciation will happen proper from the next month onwards.
    But if you capitalise the asset with value date in period 13,2011 - your depreciation calculation will start only in period 13
    Scenario 2
    1. No individual depreciation method required. You can do AFAB in repeat run. Here depreciation will be posted only for those assets which was not posted in the planned run.
    2. Depending on your value date/capitalisation date of the asset. If the asset is capitalised with prior period, then in current month depreciation, it will consider the value not posted for last month and post the value of current month + prior month together. If the asset is capitalised with current period date, then there is no issue. Depreciation calculation will take place as usual.

  • Error: Cannot connect to NTP server or NTP server is not running - Cisco IPS

    This is different scenario here:
    I have two Cisco IPS 4260-k9 and both are in production now.
    One of the IPSs is configured with NTP and works fines, but another one is not.
    When tried to configure when the device is ON and live in production and got the following error,
    Error from CLI:
    " Error: Cannot connect to NTP server or NTP server is not running "
    Error from IME:
    " Delivery failed.
    err Unaccepable Value - cannot connect to the NTP server or NTP server is not running"
    I am able to reach the NTP server, also the same NTP is working fine with other devices....
    Am I doing anything wrong?
    Please advise

    Session.connect: java.net.SocketTimeoutException: Read timed out
    I have increased the pooling interval to 1 Hr from 1 Min. Waiting for the next pooling interval result.
    Guide me if I am heading right.... or anything else needs to be done.

    I have a question about Depreciation Posting Run;  I want to block two active assets for not entry in the Depreciation Posting Run and don´t affected it.
    I try to blocked the fixed asset in AS06 transaction but de active asset is affected in Depreciation Posting Run.

    Hi,
    To my limited knowledge, one can deactivate the assets after transfering the value from the to be deactivated asset.
    As per the generally accepted accounting principles, assets with value should have an impact in our financial statment.  In SAP, deactivating assets means, wrongly created assets which will not have any value and will not have impact any of your financial books of accounts.
    I think, you are looking for a functionality, where you do not want to depreciate the assets (ex. Land).  If it is so, you can give the Zero percentage by creating a new dep. key if you are using depreciation key based calculation of depreciation.

    I have a MultiProvider on 4 cubes.All these 4 cubes having object LOCATION. I can see data in all cubes for LOCATION. I am running a report on this MultiProvider.
    Problem:
    I am not getting Values for LOCATION. Why?
    What I did:
    I checked all location objects of all 4 cubes @ MultiProvider level .
    I didn't use any Infoprovider in Qry designer sections.
    Please suggest. What is the reason how to solve..

    hello,
    in the identification tab of the MP,make sure you have checked all four checkboxes across the 4 infoproviders.
    then in Listcube T-Code, select your MP,display the records based on selection inputs and see if location is populated.
    If the data is not coming in listcube, then it will not come in the Query too.

  • KM Scheduler Task is not running...

    Dear All,
    I have created a KM Scheduler Task using the NDWS Wizard. I followed prakash's blog (http://www.sdn.sap.com/irj/scn/weblogs?blog=/pub/wlg/1515). My doubt is where exactly the attributes are created? and can any one guide how to create the attributes in .cc.xml file. And how does public void run( String id, Properties properties ) it works?
    The application was successfully deployed. I am able to see my task under System Administration->System Configuration->Knowledge Management->Configuration->Content Management->Global Services->Scheduler Tasks.  but I think it is not running. Can any one give some clue on this. As i'm not finding any thing uder Kmcontent>Documents.
    Do i need to configure anything to run KM scheduler Task?

    Hi Jagan,
    The status "0" for your task in "Component Monitor" is fine.
    Navigate to System Administration> System Configuration>Service Configuration. You can see here Applications and Portal runtime.
    Open Applications--> and you Task. Right click on your task folder and say Administrate. Here you check whether your task has been stopped, running. Make sure its running. ( Try refresh, if its already running ).
    In you task folder, you will see "Service Folder"  under this, you will see "RFServiceWrapper", right click on it and say configure, make sure the values are like shown below:
    Name : http://sapportals.com/xmlns/cm/sch
    Value: Value1
    Also make sure in your portalapp.xml, the values are same:
    RFServiceWrapper
    service-config
    className= com.sap.netweaver.rf.wrapper.RFServiceWrapper
    startup= true
    service-profile
    Name= = http://sapportals.com/xmlns/sch
    Prof= Value1
    You see tha the same name is used "Value1" in RFServiceWrapper both in portalapp.xml and in Service Configuration.
    You can use any other name but the it should be same in both the places.
    Make all these changes, and then restart your task in Service configuration again. Any changes in portalappl.xml, restart is necessary.

  • Oracle XE 11g x64 does not run. No *DBF files inside of the XE folder. Windows 7 Pro x64.

    I hope you are doing well all. In my case I have some troubles by installing Oracle XE 11g on my PC. My OS is Windows 7 Pro x64.
    1. I activated the Administrator mode on my PC (net user Administrator /active:yes)
    2. Started the setup as Administrator. The setup process was finished successfully with no errors showed.
    3. Started the Database, OracleServiceXE, OracleXETNListener and other services.
    4. Tried to connect using sqlplus-> connect system ->password, what in result gave me ORA-01034 Oracle not available and ORA-27101 Shared memory realm does not exist errors.
    5. Then I recognized that my C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\oradata\XE folder is empty when it should be usually full with 6 DBF file.
    6. I opened the cloneDBCreation.log and it contains these data:

    My actions to resolve this problem:
    1. Checked if my user has administrative rights and belongs to ora_dba. It does!
    2. Turned Microsoft UAC off.
    3. Set the system and local variables of ORACLE_BASE, ORACLE_HOME, ORACLE_SID, PATH, TNS-ADMIN to the appropriate values in Enivornment Variables:
         - ORACLE_BASE -> C:\oraclexe
         - ORACLE_HOME -> %ORACLE_BASE%\app\oracle\product\11.2.0\server
         - ORACLE_SID -> XE
         - Added to PATH -> C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\11.2.0\server\bin;
         - TNS_ADMIN -> %ORACLE_HOME%\network\admin
    4. Removed Oracle XE 11g and reinstalled to another drive. No sense!
    Some more errors:
    1. C:\oraclexe\app\oracle\product\11.2.0\server\config\log\XE.bat.log
    Instance created.
    DIM-00019: create service error
    O/S-Error: (OS 1387) Ein Mitglied konnte in der lokalen Gruppe nicht hinzugefugt oder entfernt werden, da das Mitglied nicht vorhanden ist.
    It means -> O/S-Error: (OS 1387) Unable to add or remove a member from the local group because this member does not exist.
    I understand that I need to logon as batch job. I added me to this policy in User Rights Assignments, but still I get these "DIM-00019: create service error" and "O/S-Error: (OS 1387)". And I guess just therefore my database is not starting well.
    2. 127.0.0.1:8080/apex/f?p=4950 is not starting in browser. It is probably because the database is not running appropriately. For this issue have already seen one topic in Google that the HTTP Properties inside the Listener Status must be set to 8080 to make this link work. But in my case I do not see this line in my Listener Status:

    I have tried to install both of them lots of times but in each case I receive the same in my XE.bat file:

    O/S-Error: (OS 1387) Unable to add or remove a member from the local group because this member does not exist.
    Have checked OS 1387 error at Microsoft Support and as possible cause of the problem they give as follows:
    This issue can occur if the environment has a disjointed namespace (i.e. the domain has different NetBIOS and DNS names). For example, assume that the domain has a NetBIOS name of "domain.com" and a DNS name of "domain-old.com." When users are added in the Windows UI, they are displayed in the format of domain\ComputerName. However, you notice in the error log that there was an attempt to add a computer account in the format of domain-old\ComputerName. (System Center 2012 R2 Data Protection Manager install fails and generates ID: 4323: "A member could not be added")
    Tried to find out my DNS name, but it is impossible because I don't have any domain installed and my machine is not connected to it. Some other blog (Install Oracle 11gR2 on Windows) advices to work with adding my computer account to some non-real windows domain (just for the purpose of resolving the network) as well and reinstall the database then. If I undestand it right I need minimum 2 machines for this. But I own just one, where the server is based and thought that is enough to run the database... no idea ..
