6. Redeploye forms.ear
Pre-install R12.1.3
7. Upgrade OPatch in database home
8. Upgrade OPatch Database in 11.1.0.7
9. Upgrade OPatch in 10.1.3 Home
10. Upgrade /Patch OAS 10.1.3.4 to .5
11. Upgrade Java to 1.6_0_17 or lower
Install R12.1.3
12. Apply EBS R12.1.3 maintenance pack

It is needed as some steps will be applied if it is upgraded from 11 to 12..

In the first down time planing to Upgrade the Database.
But.......
I had a question..
My current database is running on 32-bit. Target Database is planing to use the 64-bit
Will my application support.......
By keeping the application tier on 32-bit as it is and Upgrading the Database to a 64-bit 11gr2

Oracle E-Business Suite account has not been linked with the Single Sign-On

We followed this note 1484024.1 to integrate Oracle EBS 12.1.3 with Oracle Access manager 11g R2.
Integrating Oracle E-Business Suite Release 12 with Oracle Access Manager 11gR2 (11.1.2) using Oracle E-Business Suite Access Gate [ID 1484024.1]
All the steps have been complete successfully without any errors.
When the excisistign users trying to login.. they will get the single single OAM page but not able to use their current user id and passwords..
it says: "Your Oracle E-Business Suite account has not been linked with the Single Sign-On account that you just entered. Please enter your Oracle E-Business Suite information. The next time you sign on with your Single Sign-On account, it will automatically sign you on to the Oracle E-Business Suite using the following account information. "

When it asks the user information here, enter the EBS username and password.
The first time users login to ebs, it needs to link that particular usre with a particular.
The next time you login, it does auto link.

Migrating Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10.2 from Linux 32-bit to Linux 64-bit

Hello Experts.
We have to do R12 upgrade.
Currently:
database (11.2.0.3) running on RH5 64 bit
apps (11.5.10.2) running on RH5 32 bit (separate machines, of course)
Plan:
migrate db and apps tiers to separate 64bit RH6 machines
then migrate again to a shared machine
then upgrade to R12
I know that 11.5.10.2 is not supported on 64 bit so is this plan fatally flawed, or is it do-able?

You are right, Oracle EBS 11i is not certified on Linux 64-bit for the application tier node -- Frequently Asked Questions: Oracle E-Business Suite Support on x86-64 (Doc ID 343917.1)
You can lay down R12 apps tier node directly on 64-bit Linux since it is certified and continue with the upgrade.

Installing Oracle E-Business Suite Extensions for Oracle Endeca, Release 12.2 V5(Doc ID 1614014.1) postSetup.sh script missing

I am working on Oracle EBS and OEID integration for iprocurement. Followed the Installing Oracle E-Business Suite Extensions for Oracle Endeca, Release 12.2 V (Doc ID 1614014.1).
But not able to find the postSetup.sh script at /u01/Oracle/quickInstall path which is use to perform following task:
1. Create JNDI: Create JNDI data source for Oracle Endeca Studio Portal and Clover to obtain a connection to the Oracle
2. Create DD: Create a default data domain profile for the dgraph processes to tune the performance of the integrator graphs.
I think this script is missing from the Oracle E-Business Suits Extensions for Oracle Endeca Server Quick Install for linux installable:
Please suggest.

How to Display Data from Oracle E Business Suite tables in ADF

Hi,
I am new to ADF.
I have a requirement to Create an ADF page for Search Results Screen.
However the result data is from one of the Oracle E Business Suite Tables.
ie I need to create a Screen where user will enter a Purchase Order Number and Click on Button.
The Screen should show details from PO_HEADERS_ALL (from Oracle ERP Database Table) based on the entered PO Number.
Is it possible to implement the same? Can some one guide me how to do it?

I'm planning to implement Data Guarg in Oracle E-Business Suite 11.5.10.2 .
Production Server:
DB01 =DB SERVER (10.2.0.3)
APP01 =APPLICATION SERVER (11.5.10.2)
DataGuard Server:
DB02 =DB SERVER (10.2.0.3)
APP02 =APPLICATION SERVER (11.5.10.2)
Can I do automatic applciation failover? My answer is yes.
Which failover would be suggested method if users are <100?
What will happen when I apply patch on APP01? Do I need to refresh APP02 thru scp or tar or any backup utility?
Since DB02 is syncing thru DB01 on daily basis.
Does DG required additional licenses?

I want to install and configure Oracle EBS 12 on Oracle Linux 6 or Ubuntu 11.04.
Here are the hardware configuration:
Intel i3, 4 GB DDR3 RAM, 1 TB HDD, 375 GB free disk space on it.
I have downloaded Oracle EBS 12 for Linux 64 bit.
I have Windows 7 64 bit installed and VMWare workstation 8 installed on it. I installed Linux 6 64 bit on VMWare. Do not know where to go from here, please help me in installing Oracle EBS on Oracle Linux 6. I have searched in different forums, I notice that Linux needs to be configured before installing EBS 12 and I also notice that 300 GB need for EBS installation but where it should created?
Please help to complete this EBS installation, I appreciate your efforts.
Is Ubuntu 11.04 compatible with Oracle EBS 12?

API for creating new User in Oracle E-Business Suite through BPEL

Hello,
I would like to use a BPEL process to create a new User in Oracle E-Business Suite. In the Integration Repository I was able to find an API called FND_USER_PKG/LOAD_ROW that creates/updates Application's User data. Is this the API I should be using? If so, I would like to better understand how to use this API.
I have created a simple BPEL process and added an Oracle Application Service, which uses this FND_USER_PKG/LOAD_ROW API. I set the following parameter before Invoking the Oracle Application Service: X_USER_NAME, X_ENCRYPTED_USER_PASSWORD and X_START_DATE. When I run the BPEL process I get the following error. I suspect that I am not passing all the required input parameters. Does anyone have any sample data I can use to get this API to load correctly? If I am using the wrong API, please let me know.

I have made the following changes in BPEL based on your recommendation: 1) Added Oracle Application Service and used the API, LDAP_WRAPPER_CREATE_USER, found in the Oracle Application Module Browser* under: Applications Technology (ATG_PF)> User Management (UMX)> User (FND_USER)> PLSQL> User (FND_USER_PKG)> LDAP_WRAPPER_CREATE_USER
