Fix you contact resolution to your LDAP and you'll get just that, what you're seeing right now is expected as the fact you get JID and not the friendly username, means you're not looking at LDAP.
Right now you're also unable to dial, assuming you have softphone or deskphone control, from jabber as the DNs for the contact, are also brought over with the contact resolution from LDAP.
Make sure you have SRVs, or manually configure the integration in jabber-config.xml.

WSA's don't cluster, with a shared virtual IP, how you handle mulitple WSA boxes is a function of how you're redirecting traffic to them.
     WCCP - you just add them as multiple WCCP destinations
     PAC file - you add seperate entries and the browser/app figures out which one is available.
     Policy Based Routing (eg. no Cisco router) - I'm not sure, as I've never done it.
You might be able to use a load balancer, but my feeling is that gets too complicated.
I used this to set up one box using WCCP

Integration Safeword with Cisco ISE

Hi,
we have a Domain Integrated Safeword application, which was installed on our Domain Controller. Safeword requests were send over the Radius Port to the NPS server, and from there over Port 5040 to the Safeword application. This works without any problems.
Now we would like to integrate the Cisco ISE to the Safeword. Because there is a checkbox "Safeword Server" at the Radius Token Identity Source, I thought that it is possible to communicate direct with the Safeword application, but it is not working.
Anyone who already implemented this??

Symptoms or Issue
•Unsuccessful RADIUS or AAA functions in Cisco ISE
•The NAD is unable to ping the Policy Service ISE node
Conditions
This scenario is applicable in a system in which Cisco ISE is configured to perform user authentication via an external RADIUS server on the network.
Possible Causes
The following are possible causes for losing connectivity with the RADIUS server:
•Network connectivity issue or issues
•Bad server IP address
•Bad server port
Resolution
If you are unable to ping the Policy Service ISE node from the NAD, try any or all of these possible solutions:
•Verify the NAD IP address
•Try using Traceroute and other appropriate "sniffer"-type tools to isolate the source of disconnection. (In a production environment, be cautious of overusing debug functions, because they commonly consume large amounts of available bandwidth and CPU, which can impact normal network operation.)
Check the Cisco ISE "TCP Dump" report for the given Policy Service ISE node to see if there are any indications.

Follow the following steps :
1. Create RFC destination for both the systems on CRM and R/3 in SM59.
2. Create the logical systems and assign clients to logical system in SALE transaction both on CRM and R/3.
3. Create a user in the R/3 table CRMCONSUM with the name CRM.
4. Maintain the Middlware Parameter tables on CRM : Table SMOFPARSFA:
   Create an entry for following parameter entry:
   Key - R3A_COMMON
   Para name - CRM_DEFAULT_DESTINATION
   Value - R/3 logical system
5. Maintain the parameter tables on R/3 system : CRMRFCPAR, CRMPAROLTP
    CRMRFCPAR :
    Create new entry with following data:
    User - CRM
    Object name - *
    RFC Destination - RFC destination for CRM
    Load types - All Load Types
    In Queue flag - X
    Send XML No XML
    CRMPAROLTP :
    Create the following parameter entry:
    Para name - CRM_DEFAULT_DESTINATION
    User - CRM
    Value - Name of the CRM logical system
6. Create Sites and attach subscriptions in Admin Console : Tcode SMOEAC
    Create a Site as CRM and another as R/3. Attach the required subscriptions to the R/3 site.
7. Register the queues in SMQR and SMQS transactions.

Setup Guide for Integration of File Systems needed

Ladies and Gentlemen,
I am very new to the SAP Mobile Documents topic, and I am about to setup my first instance now. In my first Mobiles Documents instance I need to integrate a windows fileshare as a repository.
I know there are two possibilities in integration a windows fileshare, one that uses a service account with full rights to access the share and one where the permissions of the current user is used.
I need to integrate the share with the usere permissions, so that the users is only able to see the filese and folders where he has the proper rights.
Is there any step by step instruction for this?
Any hints/ideas how I can start that integration?

Integrating SAPPhone with Cisco

Hi Everyone
We are planning to integrate SAPphone with a Cisco telephony application. Can someone please tell the steps involved in this. I summarize my understanding here, based on the documents I read so far. Correct me if I am wrong or missing any info.
1. Configure TAPI.
2. Install and configure SAPphone Server.
3. Create RFC connections.
4. Create Site & Telephony Server in the GUI and link the SAPphone Server using the RFC connections.
5. Setting up the work centers to handle calls.
However I am not clear on how the communication between telephony application and SAPPhone Server is getting established. Does it need any special software? If so who will provide it?.

WAD: Design request for web template with re-occuring table object

Hi all,
I'm trying to create a web template design in WAD (WAS 6.20) using javascript that would loop and re-use the same table web item object displaying different sales employee data. The challenges I'm facing is that the number of employees to report on might be different for the reporting period and the report should have a sales employee specific header preceeding each table. And also the customer is looking at receiving a canned (precalculated) report generated weekly.
I'm thinking that I could try looping through the 0salesemply characteristic values as displayed from a dropdown box object and pass the individual value as the table object's filter value and hopefully re-generate and render the same table with different filter values until the end of sales employee list of names is reached. Within that same loop, a second table pointing to a different data provider can also display selective data specific to that sales employee.
My question is would such a design render the same table item multiple times based on the number of 0salesemply values and on a single web page. Would such a design work or would I need to look at designing a BSP application querying the ODS table directly.
If anyone has any comments on how else I can achieve this or can provide examples of similar design it would be very much appreciated.

What is the design pattern for web application with struts & hibernate?

I am new to web application developement.I am using struts for MVC framework & Hibernate for ORM framework.I am little confused that struts used bean representation for collecting form fields(Bean 1),value objects(DTO) for passing value to the JSP(Bean 2) & hibernate use the bean like representation for persistent object(Bean 3).Whether we must use all the bean's which are similar to each other or any reusable bean recommended?

I'm sure why it didn't work. That is how I bundle the JRE. The only disadvantage about bundling is the size of the installer file will be pretty large. In my opinion, relying on a public version is not a good idea if you have no control of the target box. The user might, for some reason, decide to uninstall java or upgrade to a new incompatible version and your app. may stop working. I'm sure many on here will disagree with this though.

[iPhone] UI Design pattern for table views with properties and children?

I'm getting started with iPhone development and I have a question about the proper way to display a list that has both properties of the list itself as well as the ability to drill down into the members of the list. For example, my data is a Group (of people say). The Group itself can have properties - the name of the group, group email address, web page, etc. - and it obviously has members which also have properties - name, address, etc.
In my table view, I want to show the Group members and have accessory/disclosure buttons on each row to show the details of a person, but I also want to be able to edit the properties of the group - Group name, etc. What's the UI pattern for editing the properties of the table itself?
I thought about having a tabbar that toggles between the list and the properties of the list.
I also thought about having a parent table that lists the groups (so I could have more than one) and then have accessory buttons on each group row. The UI would then have to be that the user taps the row to drill down to the group members and taps the accessory button to edit the properties of the group. Is that "proper" - tap the bar or tap the accessory icon in a table row?

I don't think I'd use a tab bar.
You could break the table up into 2 sections, section 0 being the properties, section 1 the list.
Make section 0 just say 'Properties', then when you tap that row you drill down to a properties table, slap an edit button in the navigation bar to go into edit mode.

Possible design patterns for base function with possible additions

I have various interfaces i have to implement. Let's assume ITypeA, ITypeB. They have following methods:

Disconnect
GetData
SetData
ClearData
ITypeB

Disconnect

Pause
Stop
They have some base functionality: Connect, Disconnect, GetData and SetData.
If I want to add ITypeC in the future, it will have these base functionality too.
I want to access to the base functionality and if there is additional functionality, I want to get this too. What design patterns are available that are capable of this situations?
I found one here: Extension Interface. In this, you create a base
interface and multiple extension interfaces that are implementing the additional functions. In the base interface you can ask for the available extension interfaces of the component. But this approach seems complicated: I have to create interfaces for each
type, factories for the interfaces, I need some tables to save what Interface belongs to what Factory...
What is the basic solution for this problem? Extension Interfaces? Are there any other possible alternatives for my problem?

You may have more joy dividing your interfaces by behaviour and deciding on the types later.

hey teater, we just turned on jumbo frames globally on the 3750x and used the switch for both ISCSI (on ISCSI vlan), voice and data on the approriate voice/data vlans. everythign worked well. even non-jumob frame traffice traversed switch fine. NOTE: we had not routed path into the ISCSI vlan of a firewall or router. it exsited just ont he 3750x stack. that kep potential jumbo frame issues to a minimum. ill ping the guy at that location to see how its working these days, aws im not there any more. intial rollout went well though.
