Design Help for 3km range

Hi guys,
I usually post from Routing and Switching Forums and its my first time to post here. I have some clients asking for wireless solution for 3km diamter range for 10 remote sites. What product i can use? So i can start reading on these.

I would suggest Cisco Aeronet 1300.They are 2.4GHz product and support point-multipoint architecture.
You have not specified what will be architecture.Is there is a central node and all the other nodes are connected to it....or there its decentrilized.

Design help for six object motion

Im looking for someone who can maybe help me design a little
flash recorder and player for 6 objectst that can be intially
dragged around and then eventually their recorded motion be
replayed back. Here are some of the specifications;
so there will be 6 objects on the screen, each object can
either move on its own or together. one of the objects will always
move attached to another object. I guess the best way to visualize
this is to say look at a football game with 5 player and a ball.
Each player can either move, or stay in position while another
player is moving. Someone will always have the ball.
I know for a fact that there will be a fair amount of
actionscript involved, but didnt know if someone can direct me on
the best way to do this. I was going to store the motion of each
"object" into an array. The recorder will allow the user to move
the objects around the screen to program the motion. I guess im
trying to figure out what the best way to allow the user to define
paths of two different objects...i guess move one and then the
other, but attach it to the same sequence. And then, also how to
make the ball object move with the player object.
I think ive given a pretty good description here, if anyone
has anything similar to share, please feel free to do so.

one good way to work with beans is using beans to access the data base, that is, they represent your business objects and having a session bean to access them and hide the entity beans to the client. your session bean will return to the client an object containing the data from the entity bean but not the been itself as it would mean having a lot of remote accesses.
u can have a look on the internet about the MVC pattern if u want to do your application separating your model from the view.

I need a SQL to generate the output like
12/30/1998
1/30/1999
2/28/1999
until Max(HIREDATE) value
In Feb we dont have 30th day, In that case take the last day of the month.

Design help for an ipad app

Am a newbie ipad app developer. Chose the ipad due to the larger screen size. All I need is a few tabs. When user clicks on one of the tabs shows several UIPickerViews, some sets of check boxes (maybe organized into a UITableView), perhaps a boolean switch. None of these views to be displayed are known in advance so figure I will need to create them all programmatically (no interface builder). It appears to me that on the Ipad I could use the Split View-based application. In one area of the screen would be the tabs which shows all the time. On the other area of the screen whatever the tab needs to dsiplay. What I am struggling with is how to organize a mixture of elements when user selects the tab to show a bunch of picker views, some check boxes etc. An arbitrary number of drop down menus, checkboxes etc are so easy to setup in HTML and Javascript that I am surprised they made it so hard to accomplish on a native iPad app. As I understand there can be only one controller for each screen, yet most of the examples on the net talk about a Picker or a Table view but never talk about how many them could share the same on a scrollable window. Any help will be appreciated.

General design help for a basic web app with DB

I'm fairly new to Java EE development (lots of years of Java SE experience). In the not-so-distant future I'm going to be tasked with writing a web access feature for a database-backed catalog-like application. The application helps biologist keep track of all the dead animals they have in their research collections. It is meant to be a full-featured desktop application with the ability to setup a web portal to allow other researchers to search the contents of a collection (to see if there are specimens that they would like to see or borrow, etc). So, I have to write a bunch of servlets, JSPs, JSF pages, or something like that to provide a search page and a number of results views including tables, forms, maps, etc. Our desktop app uses Hibernate for ORM.
From what I've seen of the framework, I would really like to use JSF to do the views and navigation. Can I use JSF with Hibernate persistence? My Hibernate mappings are in *.hbm.xml files. How can I meld these technologies together. Better yet, can this be done using the Visual Web Developer pack for Netbeans 5.5?

It sounds to me like a very simply web app and you
are going way overboard. You don't need much code,
much less a bunch of extra frameworks, API's, etc.
I'd make a few servlets/jsp's and avoid getting into
JSF, hibernate, etc. unless you know they are worth
your time.I'm planning on using Hibernate because all of the Hibernate data classes and bindings are already setup. I guess in the initial version that doesn't do anything but view the data, I could avoid Hibernate since I don't need any ability to detect user changes to objects and commit those back to the DB.
I'd really like to write the web app using the Java EE 5 persistance API (JPA) and not have any Hibernate-specific code in the mix.
One requirement I forgot to mention was the need for a login page that can allow for access above the standard, anonymous guest level. Some information that these guys collect, such as where they located a rare plant variety, is highly sensative (since pharma companies have been known to want this information). For that reason, some of the info is not made available to anonymous web access users. Users with a registered account can get at more info.

Design Help! Add new lines

Hi All,
I need a design help for adding extra lines on an existing order.
I have a page with 2 subtabs, first one is for order header info inputs and second one is for line info inputs. The line subtab base on user selection may generate mutile lines in lineVO (multiple rows). After user clicked an apply button on line subtab, a header row will be committed into header table and line row(s) will be in line table.
I was trying to have another button to allow user enter extra lines after committed existing header and line VO. After user click the "add extra line" button, I retain AM to keep header VO but flush out line VO, with this way, framework will try to delete lines in line table.
Since there are lots logic requirements, I can't keep adding lines after line VO.last() without committing first round line entering.
How can I keep Header VO, clean line VO, then enter new line(s) info as ADD but not DELETE/UPDATE? any suggestion??

Hi Shreya,
I am not sure about giving new line in each and every page, but there is an alternate. You can show all data in one single page. That is how much ever records you have, they will be shown on one single page, instead of spanning across multiple pages. You can achieve this by changing the property "Number of Data rows displayed at once" from default 100 to 0.

CS3 is too old to run on a new Macintosh laptop, sorry. You'll have to purchase CS6 or a Creative Cloud subscription.

Application Help for Query Designer for Netweaver 2004S

Does anyone know how to install the Help Files for the Business Explorer Tool for Netweaver 2004S? When I click on the Help>>Applicaton Help from any of these tools, it states it can't find the files. I have it setup and working within ABAP.

The help dvd that came with upgrade explains how to setup for the ABAP side, not the Query Designer. Do you know the parameter settings? Does Query Designer help use the sapdoccd.ini file?
