Design Manager : Access Denied when renaming folder or adding files

Good day my apologies if this question has been answered elsewhere .
I have a SharePoint Online subscription. I am trying to upload my design files to the master page folder on the SharePoint site, but I keep on getting access denied errors. I have managed to map a drive to my masterpage folder via explorer, and I am able
to create a folder, but I cannot rename the folder or copy my design files.
I am not logged into my server using the office365 admin account, but I have mapped the drive with the credential, I have also added the admin account as site owner.
Any ideas where I could look for the problem will be appreciated.

You can try -
Remove currently mapped drive
Make sure that you're authenticated to Office 365. In Internet Explorer,
Sign in to the SharePoint Online site by using your Office 365 account credentials, and make sure that you click to select the Keep me signed in check box.
Make sure that the SharePoint Online URLs have been added to your Trusted sites zone in Internet Explorer.

Hi,
If you are able to open the same document earlier,then anonymous access enabled on your doc library then.
If you are facing this problem in first time,then you do not have required permission (may be custom permission level has been set ) on it.

Access Denied when trying to open a file that is encrypted on network share with EFS

I just recently enabled EFS on the default domain policy and created a new network share, encrypted a file and added myself to that file and tried to open the file from my workstation. I then receive an error "Access denied", I also tried
to create a file and encrypt it on that same share and get an error "The requested operation cannot be completed. The computer must be trusted for delegation and the current user account must be configured to allow delegation."
My steps.
1. Enable group policy for EFS, removed the expired certificate that was already there and Created a new Data recovery agent.
2. Created a network share, created a test file, enabled encryption on the file
3. certmgr.msc, personal and requested a new certificate, Basic EFS
4. On the network share and properties of file, advanced, details and added the user
5. from the workstation tried to access the file, Access Denied. I can create any file I won't just can't add attributes to encrypt the file or open an encrypted file
Now if I go to the server where the CA is located which is also the AD server and create share and run the same process it works as expected. I'm guessing I have to export the cert from the CA server as a pfx and import that to both the server that
has the network share and the workstation but that still doesn't seem to work. Maybe I don't understand how EFS works and this is not possible? Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You are correct in not understanding how EFS works.
When you connect to an encrypted file via a network share, the encryption/decryption takes place *on* the server. To enable over the network access, the server's computer account must be trusted for delegation.
The server actually impersonates the user and creates a user profile on the server (containing the defined EFS certificate and private key). The important thing to remember is that the files is transmitted in clear text from the server to the client.

Psexec shows Access denied when i execute a .exe file on a remote machine

Hi All,
I am using Psexec application to run exe on multiple remote machines in the domain. When i run the the .EXE i get the error message saying access is denied.
I am running this script against agents in a list.
Below is the script i am running in the batch:
"C:\Windows\system32\PsExec.exe" @C:\Test.txt cmd
1. I am first connecting to the cmd of the remote computer and it connects successfully.
2. When i enter the .exe file location on the command prompt (which is also in a shared drive but in the same domain).
3. I ran the batch file as Run as administrator
4. I am itself a member of the Domain admins and Administrators group of the domain.
5. Turned off firewall on both sides.
6. Turned off UAC fully as per the below MS article - http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc709691(v=ws.10).aspx
7. Pressed shift and right click so i will get the Run as option and mentioned different domain admins user account and password.

Restated both the machines after doing these changes. But still the same issue.
But still i get access is denied. Can anyone please help.

Few days back when i used to run the same task in this Access is denied mode its self. My destination server used to give a Audit failure event log as below.
Now a days this event log does not come.

Access denied when i run ./runInstaller file for installing beehive

Hi every one i am new to beehive
i have just copied beehive setup folder from my media server on oracle vm machine while logged on with oracle user.
when i execute the ./runInstaller file it return message access denied i have set the file permission too.
permissions are
owner read, write, execute
group read , execute
others read, execute
plzz help me out so that i start beehive installation

Most likely, some other permissions were changed when you did the copy.
Did you set the permissions to 700, or 755 on the runInstaller binary in the install/ directory, pointed to in your error message (this binary is called from the runInstaller script)? This is probably the reason for this error message.
However, there are also other scripts and files that need to have their permissions set correctly for the install to succeed, so check your original directory and make sure the files in the copied directory have the same permissions set.
A faster way is probably to make sure you use the -p flag (to preserve attributes) to cp and copy it all again.

I want to connect Dreamweaver to Mysql, but keep gett an error saying I can't connect to mysql_pconnect. I'm trying to edit the connection_php_mysql file but when I try to save changes I keep getting access denied. How can I get the program to accept the change?

Access Denied when access to File System Repository

Hi,
Our SAP Portal install in Windows 2003, and access to a unix's file system that created from File System Repository of Portal. When I access it in KM content, SAP Portal return the following message:
System Error
An exception occurred during the program execution. Below you will find technical information pertaining to this exception that you might want to forward to your system administrator.
Exception Class: class com.sapportals.wcm.repository...
Exception Message: Access denied
If I double-click any file,
IE return 403: The requested operation is forbidden for this resource.
Please help me to fix this problem?
PS: The unix's file system mode is 777.
The permission of folder in Portal File System Repository is everyone full control.

to my knowledege, this combination is not supported. You can integrated Windows-File-Shares in a Unix-Portal: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw04/helpdata/en/ed/b334ea02a2704388d1d2fc3e4298ad/frameset.htm but not the other way round

So when you put the disk in it won't run correctly? When the disk is inserted you should have a window pop up with 2 options. 1 to install and the other to see what is on the disk. Choose to explore or open the disk. Go to the CS4 folder where the photoshop .exe file is (that will run the setup), right click on the .exe file and choose run as Admin and it should start. See if it will install. If not then read below.
I am not sure how far you got in the install before so chances are you will have to run the CS4 cleanup utility. 2 levels to run at but don't use 1 or 2 just type in the number 3.

Before you try to reinstall the software ensure that adobe reader is not installed. If it is remove it. It has caused issues in the past with vista and CS4 installs.
Also turn off windows Defender and any anti-virus software. You can keep UAC on in Windows 7.
During the CS4 install at 90 percent it will almost stop and may take 5 to 10 mins to finish. This is normal. What a pain huh......
After install is finished, reboot
After reboot, go to the CS4 64 bit or 32 bit icon (depends on 32 or 64 bit Windows 7) in start area, right click on CS4 64 bit (if you have windows 7 64 bit) and choose properties, compatibility tab and then check run as Admin at the bottom area. Hit apply, ok to close out.
Now start CS4 and run the updater.

Hyper-V Manager - Access Denied

I have a Hyper-V Server Core 2012 in a workgroup environment and uses Hyper-V Manager in Windows 8.1 to manage my Hyper-V server. It was working previously and when I try to connect to it today (it has been a month or two since I last connected to
the server using Hyper-V Manager), I got the following error message within Hyper-V Manager: "Access Denied. Unable to establish communication between '<server name>' and '<win8 computer name>'.
I had the same problem when I set it up initially but was able to get it to work by changing the access permission using DCOMCNFG.
What I also realized is when I right click on the Server node on the left pane, the Hyper-V Settings and Inspect Disk option seem to work.
Does anyone has the same issue and had a solution?

The IP address was changed on my Windows 8 PC (it was using a static IP then was changed to use DHCP). After the IP was updated on my Windows 8 PC, I can no longer connect to my Hyper-V server using Hyper-V manager on my Windows 8 PC. The reason
is because on the Hyper-V server's HOSTS file (C:\Windows\System32\Drivers\etc\HOSTS), the IP to hostname mapping for my Windows 8 PC no longer valid. I need to have an entry in the HOSTS file because both the Hyper-V server and the Windows 8 PC is not
part of a domain.
Please note that I'm trying to connect to the Hyper-V server using Hyper-V Manager application, not trying to connect to one of the VM hosted on the Hyper-V server.

How to find out when a folder or a file has been renamed?

I need to find out when a folder and some files have been renamed.
This happened when Mac OS X was 10.6 (Leopard Snow), now the Max OS X is Lion.
I use standard HFS+ filesystem format.
In Lion apparently there is a file property "Date Added" that change if a file is renamed, but the same property seems to be unused (e.g. -/-) before Lion.
I have Time Machine backups that help me to know that rename happened within a certain week, but I was looking for something more accurate (at least day accuracy).
If file system metadata can't help, I'm wondering if there is some log that track the first time spotlight indexed a specific file.

Maybe you could keep tabs of the file size. If the file size grows (which it will do each time the writing process flushes that files output buffer), then the file was written to.
What I'd like to know is if there is some way to monitor the entire drive for changes and respond to stuff like that. I know that the Win32 API provides services that monitor the file system for changes, but I don't know if other OS's do... or if Java provides an interface to those features.

Access Denied when Student Uploads Course in Drop Box

All of a sudden we are getting access denied when a student tries to upload a course. We have not changed anything on our end. The tabs on the course page are set to drop box for student. The credentials sent over are:

As far as I understand in the second case Oracle tries to create a table to store XML content and fails to do it.
User that I used has DBA role. What other privileges should I grant to the user? And/or I should grant some additional privileges to "XDB" user?
This issue has become critical for me, so I am highly appreciate any assistance

Hi Diarra,
I checked my database and the 4543 is not in the Student Edition. If you opened a schematic that was created in a higher version such as the Educaiton Edition and copied the part to your database, when you place this part you will get the access denied message.
Attached is a schematic with the part, you can open it and build you circuit around it.
