Design Notes - Can DW show all referenced files with notes?

Question

Hello Everyone,
Is there a way to have DW display all files with Design Notes
on them? I like to make notes on any php files that I have edited
to keep track of code changes (especially when updating modules),
but I cant seem to find a way to have all edits show for a working
site. Is this possible? If so, how? If not, does anybody know of I
workaround? (apart from using a repository of course).

Well it's not the perfect solution for me, but here's the
closest thing from the docs.
Notes:
To show the yellow Design Notes icons, select Site > Manage
Sites > [your site name] > Edit > File View Columns on the
Advanced tab. Select Notes in the list panel and choose the Show
option. When you click the Expand button on the Files toolbar to
show both the local and remote site, you have a Notes column in
your local site that shows a yellow note icon for any file with a
Design Note.
Man, I kept missing this in the docs, finally...... Hope this
may help someone else in future!
