Design Panel is acting sketchy

I installed stand-alone Dreamweaver CC (Mac OS x 10.9.3) and the Design Panel acting squirrely. the + keeps disappearing in the panel the interface comes and goes.

Yes "CSS Designer Panel" It's happening on one of our workstations. The panel is their but the whole panel content or interface goes blank or if I start randomly clicking where something should be like the + appears only when I click. I tried uninstalling removing preferences settings folders etc. I did try creating a new User login and it works fine. I even completely erased the user from the Mac Pro, and created a new one. So it's not Dreamveaver.

Put a border around #footerPanvalid to make sure that you can
see it in
Design view.

Design panel not active with php file?

I have DW CS5 on two computers. One one the design panel is active with a PHP file. On the other, it is not active.
I must have a setting wrong on the one computer. What do I need to do to make the design panel active? The code panel is fine on both.
It is very hard to work on a PHP file when I can't see the design panel.

The problem is that I have a number of PHP files that I need to modify the words in a form and it is hard to see what I am doing.
You can't do this in Code view?
On both computers, I just generate a new PHP file. On the one computer the design panel is active and I can click design tab on it to see the design. On the other one, I can't click on the design panel tab to see the design.
Both the same version revision level of DW? Both on the same platform? Do you have an option to click on "Design" under View on the main menu?

Properties disappear in CSS Designer panel intermittently

I am experiencing the properties for a CSS rule dissaperaing intermitantly from the CSS Designer Panel but not reappearing in CC since the latest update. The only way I have been ableto fix this has been to quit DW and re open. Sometimes happens 3 to 4 times in a row then maybe not for days. I am using fluid grids for this project. Has any one else experinced this and is there a fix.

.....there are others from other projects which leads me to believe it is a DW bug but have a look you might pick up something for which I would be grateful
The issue comes around when ever you try to alter padding or margin or corner radius and not all the time - as I said could happen forur times in a row or not for days

CSS Designer panel does not appear in my current version (12.0)...why?

I am currently taking a Dreamweaver class, online course, and I cannot find CSS Designer panel anywhere.

Here's how things stand.
CS6 version 12.0 is the last product Adobe made available for one-time purchase. It doesn't have all the latest features like CSS Designer panel, or improved support for HTML5 and CSS3.
CC version 13 is by subscription only. It contains the CSS Designer panel and other features that are not in CS6.
CC version 14 is the current version offered on the Creative Cloud. It's by subscription only. It contains the CSS Designer panel and other features that are not in either CS6 or CC 13.
If you are a qualifying student, you can join the Creative Cloud full plan at a discount (60% off).

Is the classic css panel only available in C6? I hate the dumbed-down css designer panel

Im currently testing Dreamweaver CC 2014 during the Trial period. So far I like the interface but I HATE the css designer panel. I've been using Dreamweaver for 7 years and the classic css panel was one of the key components I use on a daily basis. For me this is a deal breaker - Im in the middle of a major design project and dont have the time or the patience for this cluttered and dumbed-down css designer panel. Can the people at Adobe at least give the seasoned users the option to have the classic designer panel? Or should I just stick with the old CS6 and keep using it until something better comes along?

Mask included contents in design panel

I have an include file that contains a few functions that produce the necessary code for an html email. Since it makes tweaking the layout so much easier the include file contains mainly html code, e.g. (much simplified):

I don't want DW CS4 to show this code in the design panel of the main file, since it displays incorrectly (thinks it has got to the end of the document, when of course it hasn't really even started.
Can anyone think of a tidy solution?

Thanks David, I'm loving heredoc!
I did explain why I wanted html markup in the include (I am creating an html email body), and now that I am using heredoc it confuses DW just enough to be perfect (I could of course have used a PHP string, but it is visually a lot clearer to be able to see proper indentation on the screen, especially when debugging).

Try to browse for a background img in CSS Designer panel, and it closes the window

Using CSS Designer panel, when I try to select a background image, I use the little folder icon (browse) and when I click on my Images folder the window closes. Anyone get this result?

CSS designer panel missing

I have just installed dreamweaver cc but there is no css design panel, only the old css styles panel. Why?

Not sure exactly what you were expecting but I doubt if you can ever
design a CSS! You can style your page using CSS by applying the styles
you have created but I doubt very much you can have anything in DW that
allows you to design a style. Perhaps it is the terminology in DW
because DW says "CSS Designer" but it is all about creating your style
to apply to the HTML tags you might have on a page.
Can you clarify what were you expecting in DW CC? I don't use CC but
there are many people here who are (e.g. John Waller or Ben Pleyser if
they are not watching the "ashes
<http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/cricket/24942665>") so they can tell you
how to go about doing what you are looking for.

If you go to around 23 seconds, you will notice the 'Biggest update' 'CSS Designer Panel'
I notice he is changing rounded corners on the fly.
Where is this in Dreamweaver CS6?
I can only see the transitions panel.
Am I missing something?

Your workspace might be different than mine.
But the CSS Styles Panel is usually on the right. See screenshot.

I switched to flash builder 4.6 and cannot see my panel in design mode anymore.

Are you running multi-screen? Try resizing the black panel using the splitter bars.
This has been a problem on FB/Eclipse for some time now, at least since the MAX preview. Setup: dual monitor, primary monitor on the right, secondary monitor on the left, FB on secondary, Start toolbar on secondary. Mostly happens when restoring FB from minimized.
