Hi Vinod,
Design registration come under Sales for High Tech. It is noting but an opportunity being created through an interface may be XI. The process will be more like the products are published to the dealers and dealers or channel partner send in the design registration. The communication within channel partner and the manufacturer are automated and the process ends when the opportunity is won. The status change and sales out data for the opportunity is fully automated.

Design registration is used to submit your designs as in the project requirements.
Whereas the opportunity is a transaction type to capture the opportunities that you have to sell to buyers.

How to provide authorization to set the statuses in Design registration

Hi All,
For HTOR transaction type CRMDRGO status profile has been configured. So based on this status profile the user can set any of the statuses which are there in CRMDRGO.Here the requirement is the user should not be able to set few statuses whicha are there in the CRMDRGO. Means for some of the statuses the user shouldn't have the authorization to set.For this I have created one authorization code and i have configured in CRMDRGO.How can i achieve this requirement.can anybody help me out regarding this.Thanks in advance....

In webUI GET_V for this attribute, make the available values as desired by restricting some values for a certain usergroup or role or on a certain value of a certain Authorization Object.

8.02 killed all my apps, DONT UPGRADE!!!

Go I don't know what the hell has happened. I upgraded to
8.02 of Dreamweaver and now any for with a update or insert record
item on it is destroyed. If I open a page that container a form to
insert into a database, make any edit and save it, it tries (and a
emphasize "TRIES") to rewrite the code for the insert record
behaviour. But somehow it remove all line breaks so the code is in
one big paragraph and I have to go through and break it up
manually.
Then if there is a "File Field" in the form, it just does not
insert at all any more. It gives the error :

or simply does not work or insert anything.
I have now removed Dreamweaver 8.02 completly and am

when you were install your cs3 you should have been prompted for you serial number. were you?
if not, you probably didn't properly install cs3. copying/migrating/moving etc is problematic.
if yes, did you see any error messages during installation?
if yes, attach a screenshot of the error message.
if not, check you install logs, Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CC

Design and registration of new objects

We have the following three objects:
- Order, which contains:
-- OrderStatus
-- Vector: OrderStatusHistoryItem
Whenever order.setStatus(newStatus) is called we would like to create a new OrderStatusHistoryItem and add that to the vector of history inside the Order.
Our first guess was to put this in the setStatus method of the Order object, so that noone would bypass the adding to history. But... When creating the OrderStatusHistoryItem inside the Order we of course get an error from TopLink, saying that the object was not registered in the UOW.
Is there some way that we can tell TopLink that this relationship should be registered automatically on commit? If not, what would be the best way to design this? Of course we do not want to expose our domain layer to the internals of TopLink. Would a factory be the best way to handle registration upon creation?

New objects created and attached to working copies will be discovered during commit cycle and added to the persistent model including the appropriate INSERT. The only issue you will have is that you must make sure that setStatus(newStatus) is ONLY called on working copies read from or registered with a UnitOfWork. If this is true you should be able to create the new OrderStatusHistoryItem within the setStatus method and add it to the collection without registering it in the UnitOfWork.

Oracle Designer, schema registration

I have registered a DB schema in Oracle Designer (via jr_registration.register / jr_registration.generate). I understand how to use registered tables, but what about registered pl/sql packages? Where can I see them and how can I put them under version control?

Yes, you are right, I need to find registered PL/SQL in the Designer. But I can't see it neither in RON nor in DE. I try to find it under repository owner, where I have registered the schema. May be I must to do some extra steps along with registration/generation?

Cs3 design standard registration error

I'm having trouble registering this product that I just installed. When I get to the registration window, it says"a problem was encountered while trying to send information over the Internet"
It is Adobe creative Suite 3, Design standard.
Also, I am getting an error box that says "Adobe updater quit unexpectedly"

The software is installed and functioning on my new Macbook Pro. When I installed the CS3 software a few days ago, I reached a point where it asked for the serial number. It accepted the number as valid, then took me to an error screen saying “A problem was encountered while trying to send information over the internet.”
After contacting this forum, I’ve come to understand that is an old/invalid screen. I was given an alternate link, and when visited that link and I entered the serial number, it gave an error which read, “The code you entered is invalid. Please try again.” (I saved a screen copy of all this. It was the correct code.)
After visiting the last link you shared in your most recent reply, and navigating around the site, I found the "My Products" page, and entered my serial number from the CS3 Design Standard. It said the serial has already been registered.
At this point, the applications are loaded, and I have been using Photoshop and Bridge cs3 for the last 4 days. Illustrator and InDesign are working as well. I can give you the serial number if that will help
I have two questions:
Will the software stop working after 30 days?? (Do I need to be bothering with all these registration errors?)
How do I install the CONTENT DVD that came in the package? There is no Set Up file or Installer on the second dvd like there was on the Application DVD. Do I transfer the files off the disc into a select folder? Or are they supposed to be installed in some way using an installer?

How did you acquire your copy of Creative Suite 3 Design Premium (which hasn't been sold by Adobe for several years)? If you bought it from a source like eBay, you may have bought an illegitimate copy.
You would probably have to call Adobe Customer Service. We are just users and have no ability to handle serial number/registration issues.

Is the registration process for CS5 Design Premium different than CS4?

When I installed my CS4 Design Premium the program would ask me to register from time to time until I finally did it to stop the reminder from coming up.
Is the CS5 Design Premium registration process the same?

I can't imagine why not, but you really should call Adobe sale to make sure you've got all the proper credentials.

Registration form won't work on a Mac - Designed on PC

Using LC CS5, built a registration form (windows machine) and they work great except for those using a mac. they can't submit by clicking on "submit by email" it does nothing, and when they just attach the form it comes in blank on my end unless I click in the fields then I can see their information, but as soon as i tab to the next field it disappears again. I thought the fomrs were coming in blank at first. I cannot get them to to automatically go to the response file either.
Any help would be much appreciated, I really need these forms to work for both platforms, What do I need to do or what do they need to do to get the form to work

My guess is that you are not using ADobe Reader to read the forms on the Mac but you are using the PDF viewer that ships with the Mac. That product has trouble reading XFA forms .....so make sure you use Adobe viewers and your forms will be filled properly. Regarding the email issue ... depending on how you setup your email button will determine whther this will work on a Mac or not. If you submit to a mailto:email address URL then it shoudl work. If you use other methods then that relys on a windows API called Mapi to inetract with a mail client. This technique will obviously not work on a Mac. Make sure you are using the mailto technique....all though I do not have a Mac to test with and verify.
