Design Time Connection of SAP Server failure using TIBCO Designer

Hi All,
While Connection to SAP Server using TIBCO Designer using Design Connection Configuration followed error we are facing.
Connection Error. Unable to Create a Connection with the target application bdhn4973.na.pg.com using connection parameters

Note: SAP Server is running but still we are not able to connect from TIBCO Designer. Few times it's able to connect and few time it will throw an error while connecting to SAP Server.
Can you please help me if any one you have any idea regarding this.

Hi,
Since you are able to connect, seems the issue with network instability.
1) Create an RFC connection and perform the connection test. Note down the time taken (milli seconds), a notable delay also can be the cause of the issue.
2) Do the ping from Tibco system to SAP and note down the time taken
3)Also check the firewalls in between the two systems and check the valid access
You may need Nework admin teams help to cross check these.

Error Connecting to SAP server via JCO

When i tried to connect SAP server using JCO its giving error "Fatal error User name or password incorrect" .But with the same username and password i'm able to login to the SAP system with SAP logon pad. My username contains only numeric,does this have any significance?

type of username is not significant if it is correctly entered as same as entered in SAP Logon Tool.
U should configure the JCO Interface properly with connection details
SAP Server
SAP Client
SAP System Number
SAP User Name
SAP Password
Execution - True
Also every fields are very case sensitive, so hv deep look at every field with correction.
Pls tell me the LastErrorMessage using Tracer as follows SAPJCOInterface_0.LastErrorMessage

When you try to install RDS role on server 2012 R2 using standard deployment, this issue may occur (Figure 1).

First of all, we need to verify the configurations as it suggested:
1. The server must be available by using Windows PowerShell remotely.
2. The server must be joined to a domain.
3. The server must be running at least Windows Server 2012 R2.
4. The currently logged on user must be a member of the local Administrators group on the server.
5. Remote Desktop Services connections must be enabled by using Group Policy.
In addition, we need to check if the “Windows Remote Management “service is running and related firewall exceptions have been created for WinRM listener.
To enabling PowerShell remoting, we can run this PowerShell command as administrator (Figure 2).

However, if issue persists, we need to check whether it has enough memory to work.
By default, remote shell allots only 150 MB of memory. If we have IIS or SharePoint App pool, 150 MB of memory is not sufficient to perform the remoting task. Therefore, we need to increase
the memory via the PowerShell command below:
Set-Item WSMan:\localhost\Shell\MaxMemoryPerShellMB 1000
Then, you need to restart the server and the issue should be resolved.

I tried to set up powershell remoting on a server and kept getting this error:

After a bit of troubleshooting I discovered that the problem was that the authentication packets was to big (over 16k), this will cause WinRM to reject the request. The reason for authentication packets getting too big can be because the user is member of very
many security groups or in my case because of the SidHistory attribute.
The solution was to increase the MaxFieldLength and MaxRequestBytes keys in the registry under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\HTTP\Parameters
If the keys does not exists you can create them, be sure to use the DWORD type.
I sat MaxFieldLength to DEC value 40000 and MaxRequestBytes to DEC value 32768 and rebooted the server. Problem solved.

How do I make a connection to SQL Server Express using SQL Developer 1.5.3, if it's possible at all?
Also, I received a SQL Server dump file of some sort. Is there any way to read this file in SQL Developer and migrate the db to Oracle? Unfortunately I don't have raw DDL and DML for this database--just some sort of a binary dump file from SQL Server.

Are you using SQL Developer 1.5.3 or 1.5.4?
If using an older version (i.e. 1.5.3), then you'll have to add a DLL to your environment. This is [ntlauth.dll].
If you don't find this DLL in your SQL Developer directory, then obtain the JDBC SQL SERVER Pluggin (jtds-1.2.2-dist.zip) from:
http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=33291&package_id=25350
Copy the ntlmauth.dll in the ...\\...\ide\lib directory (no need to register it).
Note: this approach should work if using DQL Developer 1.5.3 and SQL Server Express 2008

Losing the connection to sap server

Hello guys ,
I have a serious problem that i face losing connection between the terminals and the server, but I can still ping the server from those disconnected computers, the following is a sample to the error from the event viewer of the SAP server.

I am facing the problem while i am trying to connect my Windows XP Clients( With Service Pack 3, DI-API Installed and Microsoft SQL Server Native Client Installed) to SAP server i got follwoing Error.

Testing connection to SAP Server

Hello All,
We would like to know how to test the connection from Nakisa OrgChart application to the SAP server. We are using Staged installation (SQL Server) and currently configuring the SAPExtractor.
We have the following details provided in the connection string:

Hi Angelo,
There is no way to test the connection without attempting to extract. However, you could just run a quick extract and then cancel it as it will tell you if it cannot connect to SAP.

Connecting to Exchange Server 2013 using IMAP command gives authenication error

My application (it is a C# code) connects to Microsoft exchange server 2013 using POP3 and IMAP, processes the emails, marks as read and move to particular folder if it is processed successfully else to an different folder. In this sometimes,
I am getting authentication failed error from IMAP however same mail is processed when it is executed next time. Few times it is processed with out error. I am not sure what is causing this issue.We are connecting to IMAP using tcpIMAP command.
This is the same application which we used with exchange server 2010 now we are upgrading to exchange server 2013. I have verified that the setting of exchange 2010 and 2013 are the same.
To verify the IMAP command I created a sample application using C# which will try to connect to IMAP service and log in to exchange server 2013; it fails to authenticate the user after connecting for few times and then it starts to authenticate
successfully then again fails for few times and then authenticates. I am not sure why this is happening.
Please suggest how can I resolve this.

Since I've upgraded to Snow Leopard I've also moved from Entourage 2008 to Mail, iCal & Addressbook with the new Exchange support.
My company exchange server is Exchange 2007.
Mail works fine except the occasional Mail crash.
iCal worked fine the first two days and then it came with an error the it cannot connect to the Exchange server and asks me to type my email address again. Doesn't work so I need to put my exchange calendar in iCal in offline. But now there is no syncing with the Echange server.
This only occurs when I add a meeting request in iCal.
My Exchange administrator has reset my mailbox on the Exchange server.
This helped for about 4 hours. Now it's the same problem.
I have a feeling the when you setup your exchange account in Mail it uses different settings for Mail and iCal with the autoconfig.
Anybody has a solution? My Exchange admin cannot find any problems on his side. Do I need to make changes on my iCal client or do we need to wait for OS 10.6.1 ?

Can't connect to my server socket using external IP

Hi I'm very new to Java programming, and I'm learning all the core things I need to understand so that I can make a simple networked game using a command-line server and applet clients. I tried the networking tutorial and it worked perfectly on my machine.
However, it only works if I supply the client with my INTERNAL IP. When I give it my EXTERNAL IP it cannot connect to the server socket. The error thrown is a IOException.

Not quite sure I understand. Do you use the external IP with clients
from the external network or with clients from the internal network?
But regardless, I assume your Java code is correct since it works
on the internal network. Try this command:
telnet 192.168.2.3 4444
from the internal network. I expect it to show "Server: ...", whatever the
server sends. If this works, it means we can indeed use telnet to
test connectivity. Now do:
telnet 86.3.51.171 4444
from the machine that gives you problems. If this does not work
(connection lost or something like this), it means your Java code is OK
and you need to do some configuration at your router.
If this works, which I doubt, I am on the wrong track.

I have implement a custom validation rule ,add a design time bean customizer for my rule then register on datamodel project,i can use the graphic design time bean customizer and add my validate rule to my entity xml file,but when i add another instance to the same entity,data added to entity xml file was not correct,it may be not integrity or all data are same ,how can i do ? I found all bean validation with the same name ,it is the registered rule name "plsql rule", any suggestion are appreciative

One thing you can do in the FOX would be to mark all fields in 'to be changed'. This will have the impact of having all data in the same data package and the FOX code will execute only once.

Mail won't connect to SMTP server when using wireless instead of ethernet

I receive the following error message ONLY when I am online via a wireless connection, but not when I am online via an ethernet cord:
*This message could not be delivered and will remain in your Outbox until it can be delivered. The connection to the server "smtp.XXXXX.com" on port 2525 timed out.*
(note that XXXX is just the name of my mail server that I've removed for security reasons)
I am able to receive email fine regardless of whether I'm using a wireless or ethernet connection.
Any thoughts? I've occasionally run into this issue before (at coffee shops and such) and think it may have something to do with the type of wireless connection (too weak, low security, other?) I'm particularly stumped about this one though since it's simply the wireless network at my college which has worked fine in the past (though perhaps they did change something?)

That's because the internet provider whom you are connecting to via wireless is blocking that port/server address as a security measure.
Unless you have an account with whom the host is, you wont be able to send emails...
you could try setting the outgoing port to one of the following you could have some luck, no guarantee's though...

If it fails for your account and not for another, with the same settings on your phone, then the problem is with your account. If you or your IT department can't correct it, it may be corrupt. Delete the account from the Exchange server entirely and re-create it.
