Design view not working after importing project from Flex Builder

After importing a project from Flex Builder to Flash Builder I am no longer able to see anything in the design view. I am using the flex 4.5 sdk.
Any idea how I can get this design view working? I heard it could have something to do with the metadata directory but am slightly lost here?...

Could you please provide more information as to what exactly are you importing. Also does Design View not lauch at all or does it give errors. Would it be possible for you to share the logs.
Meanwhile you can try cleaning the workspace and importing again to see if that solves the issue.

According to your post, my understanding is that Setting Workflow status did not work in imported workflow from SharePoint Designer to Visual Studio.
I try to reproduce the issue and the result is the same as yours.
After I import the workflow, choose the .xoml file, the view is as below:
To troubleshooting the issue, I add a new item to the project and select “Sequential Workflow” in the template.
After I click the Tool, I find that there don’t have the “SetCustomWorkflowStatus1” activity.
To set the status of the state, we need to use the “Set State” Activity in the “SharePoint Workflow” toolbar.
That is the reason why the “SetCustomWorkflowStatus1” activity does no work.

Design View not working with skins

Hey,
Excuses, I posted this question earlier in the "general
discussion" topic.
I'm using Adobe Flex 2. I have a pretty big project. If I
open it, design view works. If I close Flex and open the same
project again, design view wont work. There aren't any
error-messages or warnings given. I have been able to track te
problem down to graphical skins in a CSS declaration. I have to
erase them, to make Design View work. Then, I paste the code back
again. This is very inconvienent. Is this a normal problem,
inherent to how Flex works. Is there an other, easier way around?

Jquery content not working after the updates from firefox

Hi, i've realized that some of my website's banner is not working after the recent updates from firefox, whereas those website's banner is working in google chrome.
Hope there is a solution for this as i'm using the firefox for years and wish this issues can be settle.

SlideDeck has a post on how to resolve this error, caused by a bug in this very old version of their library that you're using. As a Pro customer, you were supposed to get an email notice, but... here you are.
I studied the script before discovering that and found two issues, but there might be more:
(1) slidedeck.jquery.js detects Firefox 20 as Firefox 2 and halts. Note that this regex is the problem:

(2) Starting in Firefox 16, the -moz-transform property was unprefixed, that is, you need to use transform for Firefox 16 and later.

TX2500Z touchscreen does not work after Windows7 upgrade from HP specific to S/N, etc on laptop.

My TX2500Z touchscreen does not work after I upgraded to Windows 7. I cannot find any support or drivers, etc. to fix. I bought Windows 7 directly from HP specific to my P/N and S/N on my TX2500Z. Any help? Thanks.

after 2,5 days (spending half a day within the apple shop as well with this problem) i have it all back on track.
i did a lot of different things: trying to remove and reinstall iPhoto; did a SL installation over the old SL I had on my HD; backing up all the data of course before and reformatting my HD and installing a new clean SL version on it + a new clean version of iLife9 with all the updates and than I migrate with migrate assistant all the data and setting with time machine back onto it, but all this didn't work, because it also migrated the error/bug through time machine with it.
so at the end i just installed a brand new, clean SL version on my hard drive, than I did the updates and put all my data, photos, docs, movies, mail, bookmarks, music, etc manual back into the system (drag and drop from my external HD, where i had an exact copy of my internal HD) and did all the settings again in all the different programs.
the only thing i used migrant assistant with time machine for was for the programs. it seems to work now all fine and i even got more free space on my HD, because some of the old stuff i always carried with me but i never used, i didn't take over.
basically everything is clean now. At least i hope and works fine. touch wood!

Apex Application not working after importing to my apps schema...

I created one DB application in my sample schema that is associated with apex 4.0.....
Application details:
*) login page(where i will be giving username and password)
*) page 1 (consist of several form fields, like

--->projects:
----->email:
the above are the fields, if i put any entries in the above field means, it will get automatically inserting in the report column, which is also in the same page consist of the above fields in the table manner...
since this report table consist of an edit icon in front, if i clicked the edit icon of an one row means, it will go to another page..
*) i.e. page 3(consist of the same fields with entries in it automatically corresponding to the each and every row, suppose if i want to update any changes means i can update in it....
this is my application that i developed it is working well with in the sample schema apex 4.0..
What i did is i created a new workspace with APPS schema in it...and i have imported my application that i developed in sample schema to APPS schema....
Since after importing to APPS schema...when i tried to open the application, it is not showing any datas in it...That is due to the tables that are supporting the application is not in APPS schema, so what i did is i have given grant privilege to the respective tables and also i have created a synonym for accessing the table in APPS schema for supporting the application.....
Now if i tried to put any entries in the form in page 2, it is getting inserting in the report column which is also in the page2....
But my problem starts here, if i clicked the edit icon symbol in each and every row of the report column it is going to the page 3 which has a respective form fields, but it is not showing any entries in it automatically, and if i tried to put any entry in it, it is not getting updating in the report table......
why this problem occurred for my application in APPS schema....But my application works very well within the sample schema......why it is not showing any entries in the form automatically soon after i clicked the edit icon in each and every row.....
i couldn't know what is the real problem behind this..... help me friends.
As this is my urgent requirement in my project..Reply me ASAP...

First, try a system reset although I can't give you any confidence. It cures many ills and it's quick, easy and harmless...
Hold down the on/off switch and the Home button simultaneously until you see the Apple logo. Ignore the "Slide to power off" text if it appears. You will not lose any apps, data, music, movies, settings, etc.
If the Reset doesn't work, try a Restore. Note that it's nowhere near as quick as a Reset. It could take well over an hour! Connect via cable to the computer that you use for sync. From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod. Again, say "yes."
At the end of the basic Restore, you will be asked if you wish to sync the iPad/iPod. As before, say "yes." Note that that sync selection will disappear and the Restore will end if you do not respond within a reasonable time. If that happens, only the apps that are part of the IOS will appear on your device. Corrective action is simple - choose manual "Sync" from the bottom right of iTunes.
If you're unable to do the Restore, go into Recovery Mode per the instructions here.

Applications not working after resetting macbook from external hard drive

I installed Snowleopard a few weeks ago. Everything was working fine, though a bit slow for a while, I figured it was just because I have had the computer for a while, but about a week ago it shut down and wouldn't restart. It would go to the login page where i would type in my password but wouldnt log in to my desktop. I did what apple suggested on their website and reset everything and restored my computer settings from the time machine backup on my external hard drive and reinstalled snow leopard with the install dvd. Everything was seemingly back to normal, but now most of my applications are not functioning correctly. I can't use isight with skype (though it works with photobooth), I can't import photos from my camera to iphoto, imovie won't even open (displays "imovie quit unexpectedly" and other things of this nature.
Since seeing that multiple applications are not functioning correctly, I kind of figure that its not an isolated problem with just one application but maybe something wrong with my OS since I reinstalled it? I've tried resetting my PRAM and NVRAM but that hasn't made any noticeable change at all.
I'm about ready to give up and take it in somewhere to be looked at unless someone can give me some good advice on how I can fix it myself? All suggestions appreciated.

I realize this post is from quite some time ago, but it showed up as relevant in my own search to resolve this problem. So hopefully my answer will be equally visible and thus helpful.
Select the movie file within iTunes (not the actual file(s) in the finder) and drag it to the desired location on your external hard drive. While doing so, you'll notice an indicator showing that you're in fact moving two files: the movie (m4v) file and the associated Extras (ite) file.
The first time I attempted this process, I selected the files within the Finder and dragged them to the external hard drive. I was able to play the movie itself from this location, but the Extras wouldn't play. After spending a considerable amount of time searching for a solution I tried the afore mentioned and it worked.
No promises, but hopefully this will work for some of you out there and save you some time and frustration.

Spry drop down menu not working after page created from template

Hi all.
I created a template and the drop down Spry menu is working fine on local testing on my browser as follows:
I then created a New Page from this above Template. I did no alteration to this new page and just saved it as index.html but when previewing it in the browser, the Spry drop down menu is not working and the page displays as follows:

On Design View and Preview in browsers the index.dwt page spry works fine.
When I create a child page from this template page, the child page looks fine in design view but does the spry fails to preview in browsers (the spry just shows as words and not drop down menus).

Quickie: Design view not working

Hi all,
Not sure why, but design view (non-live) just shows a grey panel, or white if I focus on it.
If I turn Live View on, I can see everything but not edit it obviously. Split code/design doesn't work unless Live View is turned on.
No idea why this is, I'm an occassional user of DW (CS6 Win7). This is a site which I've created, edited and published before all on the same workstation.

First, validate your HTML and CSS code. Fix any reported errors. CS6 Design View is much less forgiving of coding errors than earlier versions were. A blank screen can be caused by missing semi-colons in your CSS, orphaned <div> tags, etc..

Jsp Design view not working

For some reason I can't create or edit jsp files within the design view. I get a blank screen with the following text in the middle "Type, paste, or drag content onto this blank page, or drag and drop a component from the palette.
The weird thing is that a few jsp pages that I try to edit will work but most of them won't display anymore. They were working a day or so ago.
Does anyone have any idea what is wrong?
I am running Studio Edition Version 10.1.3.0.4 (SU5).
Please, any help would be greatly appreciated.

Mouse not working when importing timeline from premiere

This actually happens in a number of Adobe operations. Sometimes I can tab from one selection to the next and get by, but with this particular operation, I can only close the window with the mouse.
I actually get past the first import as timeline window where I can select the premiere project file. I then get to select the sequence and that is when I have no mouse control within the window and
thus can not select the sequence. Using the tab or enter keys also does not work. I can only close the window. Any suggestions?

Hello, I just had a problem similar to this: lines appearing everyehere, somestimes the brushdots didnt appear at all, the first line a drew = nothing, second line drew = first line. It was really wierd.
I tried almost everything, from re-installing PS, Going back to vanilla settings, reistalling mouse drivers. But nothing of that worked.
BUT I FINALLY I FOUND A SOLUTION! and it was so easy and obvius that i behind it.
All I had to do was to update my graphicscard driver! Yeah...
I hope it works for you to.

JSP Design view not working in JDeveloper 10.1.3.3

Hi,
The problem I have is that my JSPs all throw a class not found error in design view when I load them. The problem is related to the useBean tag (see error example).
Error exercising tag : jsp:useBean
java.lang.Exception: java.lang.ClassNotFoundException: com......client.jsp.testclass
The application is divided into a web project, an EJB project, and a server classes project. The JSPs are in the web project and the problem classes are in the server classes project. I'm limited to source view editing of JSPs due to this and the problem is only in the IDE, deployment of the code to the server is fine.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I think they are but I could be mistaken, as the libraries list for the web project shows the server classes as a library.

Design View not working in DW CS5

I have one .html file that displays the following in Design View:
The code is all there, and if I view it in Live Code then all the content is visible. Here is what Live View looks like:

I tried "getting" the still-working file from remote, but the issue.
I saw similar posts that recommend turning off "Head Content", but it was never on and that doesn't help. I have shut down, re-booted. Using Windows 7.
All my other files for this site are fine. Just this one.
Any help is appreciated!!

Those yellow tr td tags mean your table code is malformed. Browsers can forgive some html errors and certain browsers are better than others at guessing what you meant when they run into problems. DW is showing you that you have structural defects in your code, which is one of the biggest causes for display issues in the browsers.
Visit http://validator.w3.org to get a complete listing of your html errors and clean them up.

JDBC control not work after upgrade application from workshop 8.1 to 9.2.3
