Designed in California assembled in China is missing in my Earpods

I bought earpods in the online store... and I think its authentic, because it came from iPhone 5 package , the only problem is there is no "Designed in california, assembled in china" sign in the wire, my question is, is that possible that even without the sign it will be considered as authentic??? is the first batch of earpod came from first batch of iPhone 5 doesn't have that sign??

I've never seen an earbud with that printed on it. If it came with the iPhone, and you bought it from Apple or an Authorized reseller, yes, its authentic.

    My other headphones broke... It was the official one... designed in california assembled in Vietnam.
    I just got back home buying a other pair apple headphones with mic but this time it stats designed in california assembled in china. Bear in mind I brought them from Argos for 24.99 pound. The headphones doesn't feel right yet when I play music it sounds 100% better my other apple headphone.
    Did I buy a fake pair?

    If your looking for orginal Apple headphones, the best place to get them would be on the Apple store, or head into your nearest Apple Store/Apple Premium Reseller. They may be dearer than other retailers, but you have peace of mind that they are from Apple themselves.

  • "DESIGNED BY APPLE IN CALIFORNIA ASSEMBLED IN CHINA"

    I HAVE AN IPOD TOUCH 4G NOW AND IM PLANNING TO BUY IPHONE 4, HOWEVER THERE'S SOMETHING THAT CATCH MY ATTENTION ABOUT THE LABEL WRITTEN ON MY IPOD "designed by apple in california assembled in china". IS IT REAL OR SHOULD I SAY ORIGINAL?

    Most every product sold by Apple is made in China. Not sure about Mac Pros. My 2006 Mac Pro was apparently made in California, but that's nearly five years ago.
    My newer Mac Pro was made in China.
    I can remember when Apple had a large factory in the suburbs of Dallas. I got to know several of the workers there, they loved their jobs, when they weren't working they were unpaid Apple evangelists.
    Most of those workers were probably promoted to the ever-expanding fast food industry.

    do you have a question?

  • How do you tell the difference between a genuine USB to Lightning cable? I spoke to two different operators at Apple Support. One said that it has Designed in California Made in China and the serial number on it, and the other operator said it didn't

    How can you tell the difference between a genuine Apple lead and the cheap, or sometimes not so cheap imitations? I spoke with two people at Apple Support - one said that it has Designed in California Made in China and the serial number stamped on it, and the other said it didn't. Come on guys, how are we supposed to tell if you can't? I'd really like to know how to identify my lead amongst my daughter's gazillion fakes?

    All my cables are genuine either with the devices or from Apple retail Store I have never found a serial number on any regardless of which length ,I have all three lengths
    In fact they have nothing printed at all only a USB logo at relevant end

    I live in BKK and found an iPhone 5 with the legend "Designed by Apple in California and assembled in the USA".  Is that suspicious?  As diesel vdub posted, a real iPhone will have "...assembled in China" on the back.

    That's just nonsense that politicians and other ignorant people say. Just ignore it. The market has spoken loud and clear on this one. The more interesting question is if the USA could ever approach the efficiency of China. Again, obviously that is possible, but not with the current socio/policial/economic environment.
    Also as a Software Developer in INDIA, How much safe to choose UNIX Environment for development.....
    Interms of C and C++ or Objective C....
    That is a much more interesting question. For the past decade, it has been fashionable to treat software development as a commodity. All software developers are equal, we can just hire them in India where they work for less. In theory, that is true. In practice, all they look at is price. They don't pay the slightest attention to the actual developers, either in the USA or India. All they want is cheap, cheap, cheap. Because they don't care, they don't bother to check qualifications or to make good architecture choices. All they do is Windows and all they hire are people with the most buzzwords on their resumes.
    If you want to be in that market, then you need to invent a resume with 15 years of iOS experience. Just study the latest, hippest acronyms and give yourself experience for twice as long as said technology has existed. The people doing the hiring won't know any difference.
    If you actually want to be a real programmer, then your approach in India is no different than it would be in the US. Learn the fundamentals. Learn the environment that you actually enjoy working in. This is a more difficult path but it is the only one that will actually take you where you want to go.

  • Design library (_catalogs) for Composed Looks is missing in the site

    Hi,
    Some of sites (subsites) in our O365 are missing design library in the _catalogs used for Composed Looks.
    How this library can be added after the fact, not sure what would be the reason for this library to be missing in the first place.
    Thanks
    Brano

    Hi Brano,
    How did you create the problematic subsites?
    Whether you created them using a  saved site template. If yes, you make sure that “Include Content” is selected when you save a site as a template.
    Please check whether SharePoint Server Publishing feature is enabled. If yes, deactivate it and activate it, compare the result.

  • Reinstalling Adobe Design Suite CS3 on a New MacPowerBook - missing components?

    I have just replaced my old MacPowerBook (circa 2009) with a new MacPowerbook. Both are running the same OS 10.9.2. Design suite runs on the old powerbook, but it is failing
    and needed to be retired.  Transfer of my licensed CS3 design suite will not run after application transfe with an apparent license failure. Instructions in the warning window says to Says to uninstall and reinstall.  Reinstallation from the Master Installation disk fails with an error messages which says components are missing but does not tell me which components are missing.  Downloading installation files from Adobe's site gives the same error message (components missing). How do I identify the missing components

    uninstall, clean and reinstall per, Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6

  • Hong Kong/China Cals missing holidays?

    Has anyone else noticed that the HK and China calendars (from apple) do not include Chinese New Year!? Its the biggest holiday of the year.

    I purchased an iPhone 4 from HK last year and have had no problems using it in both China and in Canada. Mine was purchased at an Apple store in HK, and I had used two different HK sims, a China sim, and finally a Rogers Canada sim here in Canada. No issues at all with usage, however, it appears that the current firmware update of 4.3.2 may cause issues if you update to it.
    What specific issues are you talking about?
    If you are planning to buy in Asia and then use it elsewhere, please keep the receipt so you can go to your local Apple store for any issues, or avoid the 4.3.2 firmware update until its been fixed or there is an announcement from Apple that there are no issues with it.
    With regards to applications and iTunes, my phone works with all apps purchased through my Canadian iTunes account.

  • Is there some new configuration for Design Editor in RH11 that I am missing?

    I just upgraded from RH7 to RH11.
    All topics in Design Editor appear as though the style sheet is not applied.
    The Normal style appears as Times New Roman - 12pt font, but it is defined in the style sheet as Arial 10pt.
    Hyperlinks appear in the correct font type, but 12pt instead of 10pt.
    Headings seem to be the only styles that appear correctly.
    When I preview the topic, or view it in a browser, everything looks correct, as it is defined in the style sheet.
    Is there some new setting for Design Editor, like "Ignore part of the style sheet"?
    Thanks...

    Thanks for your response, but a look in the html and the GUI confirms that the correct style sheet is applied. In addition, (from my original post) "When I preview the topic, or view it in a browser, everything looks correct, as it is defined in the style sheet."
    I just noticed that the 'Normal' style as seen in the RH GUI shows "Times New Roman" and 12 pt. even though the P style in the style sheet shows:
    /*Created with Adobe RoboHelp 11.*/
    P {
        font-size: 10.0pt;
        color: #000000;
        background-color: Transparent;
        font-family: Arial, sans-serif;
        margin-top: 5pt;
        margin-bottom: 5pt;
    I simply edited the Normal style in the GUI to the Arial font and size.
    All of the P styles, and all styles based on the P style, changed to the correct font and size.
    The P style in the .css file did not change!
    Another RH bug?
