  • Space Designer tutorial ?

    Hi dears,
i need to found Space Designer tutorial files, i need for sampling a room.
    Please help.
    Thanks in advance.

Yes, and the method I described allows you to make a sine sweep, defining the time of the sweep, and the start and end frequencies. It's in the test oscillator, there's a button you can press called sweep. Once you have set the settings, press the button that has x1 written on it. Guess what happens... A sine sweep! If, for some reason, you don't like that method, then all of Logic's synths can create sine waves, although it will be harder to get it to sweep fully as you need to define the pitchbending and then automate it. I'm not sure it the bender will go that far...
Seriously, the way I described is the way to do it. I really suggest you have another try, as it will work.

  • SAP Business Objects Data Services Designer Tutorial

Anyone know of a good one, with details?  Not the SAP tutorial PDF.  Video, blog, etc  Google and BING find very little in the way of good designer tuts.

    Hi,
you could extract an ATL File from DEV and import it to Sandbox.
This can be done via the DS DEsigner. Please Check the DS Designer User Guide for more information.

  • Help with GRAPH Marker Design Tutorial

I am trying to create a custom marker design for a line chart (Using Illustrator CS3). I've followed all the steps in the HELP RESOURCE CENTER, but I can not get my marker to size any larger than the initial itty-bitty-square it creates. According to HELP, you can size your artwork larger than the initial marker square you copy and build the art over. That the design is scaled so that the backmost rectangle in the design is the same as the default square marker.
I've built it all in the proper order. But when I go to apply my new custom marker design, it is all sized DOWN to fit in the default square marker space.
Anyone out there with experience in customizing?

To add a detail: the marker box will always 6 pt square, no matter how big or small your designed marker is. So, to create a new marker design, simply draw the design as big or small as you want; position it in relation to the orig 6 pt square [which is always backmost].
I found this clarification with step-by-step instructions in this pdf document:
    http://www.adobe.com/products/adobemag/archive/pdfs/9611qaai.pdf
When you save your marker design in the graph dialogue box, only the portion of your design that falls WITHIN the 6 pt square is previewed; but your entire design will show up when you apply it.
Hope this saves a bit of frustration!

  • I'm brand new here and just trying to get to the In Design Tutorial... What is all this?

    WTF?

You’re posting a message on a public forum used to answer questions about the creative cloud installation and licensing.  Without knowing what you clicked on to get here it is hard to give a more precise answer.
Adobe changed their website a few days ago with the release of their new cloud products, so if you’re clicking on old links maybe they don’t go the right places, anymore.  Regardless how you got to the forums:
Here seems to be the current place to go for InDesign tutorials on Adobe's website:

Here is the Adobe TV InDesign product channel with many informational videos:

MicroSoft Visual C++ Runtime Library -
This application has requested the runtime to terminate it in an unusual way. Please contact the application's support team for more information.
I am running on Windows 7, have Adobe Acrobat X Pro and Reader 9.4.0 installed.

Thanks. I tried that and it did not work. Ultimately I fixed it by uninstalling Reader and installing the latest version.

  • Can't obtain a query result/show more data on LiveCycle Designer ES4 (Windows 7)

    Hi all,
I'm having some problems with LiveCycle Designer ES4 and a database connection.
I have successfully connected my fields to a DataConnection but I only can see the first info of the database.
I want to go through the rest of the data, I've tryied several tutorials (for example commands like xfa.sourceSet.{my Data Connection name}.next), I've tryied several DB types (SQL Server and Access (.mdb and .accdb)), I've tryed in all types of events (click, exit, initialize, and so on) and the result is the same.
I've tryied something so simple like, create a OLEDB connection in Access, bind the fields (4 textfields), create a button with the code "xfa.sourceSet.{my Data Connection name}.next" (like the tutorial at http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=C56_Cz-aE0c) and nothing.
Differences between the tutorial and me: The version of Designer (Tutorial ES2, mine ES4).
Someone know what it could be? Is there some sample where can I see the code used?
    Thanks in advance.

    Thank you Denis,
the database is intalled on the same server (Solaris-Unix) that boe and the databse is running.
I have to install the driver when the database is in the same server?
    thanks in advance
    Mauricio

  • Welcome to Hierarchical Design - Design Preservation and Partial Reconfiguration

Welcome to the Xilinx Hierarchical Design Forum.  This is the forum for all of your Design Preservation and Partial Reconfiguration questions.
The major goal of Design Preservation is to reduce the number of synthesis and implementation iterations during the timing closure phase.  This is accomplished by using previous implementation results for unchanged portions of the design.
The major goal of Partial Reconfiguration is to allow a portion of the design to be reconfigured while the rest of the design is still running in the FPGA.   Different configurations of the design can be swapped back and forth reducing overall design size and power.

Hello, I am trying to modify the Hierarchical Design tutorial TCL example (design.tcl) to allow me to adapt it to a simple trial project using the HD flow. At the Viavdo 2013.4 Shell when i type in:
vivado -mode batch -source design.tcl -notrace
I keep seeing these ERRORS from Vivado :

This seems weird...why is Viavdo issuing errors about not having an open project when in HD mode it is running in non project mode ?
Can anybody help me diagnoise the route cause of this problem please ?
many thanks for any help i get,
i have attached my design.tcl file to this query :)

  • CE EmplServ Tutorial Problems - "condition must be boolean" + "no UI comp"

    Hi all,
I'm new to CE and this forum, so I apologise if my questions have already been covered elsewhere (my search was unsuccessful).
After going through the "Getting Started with the Composition Designer" tutorial in NWDS 7.1 EHP1, my build/deploy steps are failing due to the following reasons:
Condition expression of Alternative 2 must be boolean (this is the connection between the Approve gateway and the SendRequest activity)
No UI Component assigned to task "Manager Approval"
No UI Component assigned to task "Send Request"
Are these errors expected at the end of tutorial?  i.e. would they be resolved by any of the other tutorials?
    Many thanks in advance.
    Ali Crawshaw

    Hi Christian,
    Thanks for the reply.
I restarted the tutorial again from scratch and found that I had missed one step, so I have now resolved the "no UI component linked to SendRequest" component".
However, I still have the original problem with ManagerApproval  - as there is no WebDynpro for this, there is nothing to link it to.
Also, the "Alternative2 must be boolean" still exists.  I couldn't see anything in the tutorial for this.  The only steps mentioned are to link the gateway to the "SendRequest" and "Approve" boxes and to make the link to Approve the default gate.
    Is the tutorial incomplete?

  • 9i Tutorial Missing

I have downloaded and installed Oracle9iDeveloper Suite. I do not see any information on the Designer tutorial that is in Designer 6i Release 4.2. Does anyone know if Release 4.2 is compatible with the version 9.0.2 of Designer installed as part of the Suite? Is there a new tutorial available for 9.0.2?

    Bob,
At the current time the Designer Tutorial is not shipped with 6i.
I have however, imported the 6i Tutorial into 9i and run it successfully. There are a few things which have you will need to do
in order to get this to work.
After importing the Tutorial you will need to ensure that you copy the tutorial.fmb file and the tutorial.olb file into the
    <oracle_home>\ctutxNN directory
Chapter 2 and lesson 11 mention running the Drop Tutorial Tables program, you will need to do this through SQL.
In lesson 7, step 7 you are told to select "Run Form....", this option is no longer available in 9i, select "Run form builder
    with forms module" instead.
Please also ensure you enter the Product information in the default form as detailed in lesson 7 in order to be able to
    complete lesson 9.
If you encounter problems generating the web application check that the module and module component
implementation name was too big does not exceed 30 characters as this will cause the pl/sql package to fail,
as the package_name limit is 30 characters.

  • Edge Animate CC 2014 running very slow / sluggish on tutorials and personal projects.

Hi there, I've been trying to get Edge Animate up to speed with the other adobe products I use with no problems (Muse, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects). I've followed the proxy settings suggestion mentioned in previous posts (my computer isn't on a proxy), as well as setting my color management options to default, and trying a wide range of others to see if the problem would go away (per another response I saw).
I even upgraded from Windows 7 to 8.1, just to see if that'd fix the issue, to no avail.
I first noticed it with this tutorial:
Banner design tutorial | How to make a web banner with Edge Animate CC
After importing the assets into EA, I go to add text and the text entry field records my input at about 1 character per second. It also happens with my own personal projects quite often.
I've got an AMD FX 6100 Six-Core Processor
                   8GB of RAM
                   ATI Radeon 6900
                   and Windows 8.1 Pro
I'd be willing to try anything, and any help is appreciated!

OK - Possibly Good News... I talked to Adobe Tech Support. I am able to download a previous version of the Edge Animate CC by choosing PREVIOUS VERSION under the FIND NEW APPS section of the Creative Cloud Desktop app. This is a new feature of CC. Thankfully. I can install CC and then do as hemanth kumar r suggested and edit the _edge.js file to allow 3.0 to open the file.
Thanks for all of the help. Sorry for the frustration in MY TYPING . I'll reply if that all works.
