Designer - Writing Reports

I want to write a report (or simply an SQL statement) that will list all entities and relations, and which ER Diagrams they are included on.
Can anyone tell me (a) where in the Designer repository I can find this info or (b) where I can find documentation on the Designer repository data model.

Why don't you use the Entity report of Oracle Designer Web Assistant? Oracle Consulting offers a Web Assistant for Oracle Designer (2.1/6.0) for free! It publishes the meta data stored in Oracle Designer on the web, and the Entity report includes the information you are looking for.

i haven't tried using cross tab.
but my requirement is like...

        till 15 rows

Designing the report

Hello All,
Can someone nudge me in the right direction... A tutorial on the usage of CR XI R2 would help me design the report. Does anyone have a reference for this kind of material?
Here's what I have so far. I don't know if this is enough information. Let me know if you would like me to explain more. I hope I am not confusing you.
I have a table of clients, debtors and accounts.
The table I am using.
client: clt
debtor: dbr
acct: acc
clients: clt_name1
debtors: dbr_name_1
acct: acc_desc
I have to generate a report for each clients in our Company. Each clients has ten debtors or more with an account description underneath and the debtors information such as account name: dbr_name1, file no: dbr_no, and client ref#: dbr_cli_ref#.
I have a couple of questions:
1) How do I generate a report to each clients with only their debtors information using crystal reports xi release 2.
2) How do I generate the report for the last 30 days.
3) How do I generate the report for only active, closed and paid if not send a message.
,For example: Month End report as of 2009
Our client name is : clt_name and the client ID : dbr_client
clt_name1 dbr_client
MONTH END REPORT AS OF 2009
1)dbr_name1 dbr_No. dbr_client_ref dbr_assn_date dbr_last_charge_date_O

Design a report for mainframes data.

Hello All,
I was given a requirement to design a report using BI Publisher to burst emails with attachments, where the input file is coming from Mainframes ( fixed positioning text file which also includes the context of the attachments).
The record layout of the input file from mainframes has the following fields:
1) Id# positions 1-6
2) Program Code positions 7-10
3) Document sort sequence positions 11-12 packed #
4) Line text positions 13 - 100
Notes:
1) This email should be send for the ID# which then needs to be joined to another table in DB to get the email address for that ID#.
2) This is 100 (for "abc"), 200 (for "xyz") , 300 (for "pqr").
3) The attachments need to be in a specific sequence and this assigns a "1" to all "abc", "2" to all "xyz" and "3" to all "pqr".
4) This is the text that should be printed as an attachment.
We use BI Publisher Standard Edition 10.1.3.4.0.
Please give me some ideas on how to accomplish this task.

Error CDG-03362 while capture design of Reports

When I try to capture design of reports in Designer6i
it returned an error message
CDG-03362 WARNING: No repository element found to map application logic on : 'Formular'
and the code of the formula don't come into the repository.
Do anyone help me How to solve this issue?

Although you eventually want to use JHeadstart, reverse engineering forms to Designer is not an issue within the scope of this forum.

Hi Stein,
I have seen something similar to this recently. How are you deploying the Design Studio reports, are they running on the SAP NetWeaver Portal or on the SAP Business Objects Platform server? I wonder if you are using the portal then maybe there are some issues since it is generally not possible to run the portal inside of the NWBC (they don't play nicely with each other).
Is is only when you use IE? Have you tried using another browser like Firefox of Chrome? Have you tried running the report outside of the NWBC (e.g. directly launch the URL in the browser)?

I have created a similar Pivot Chart report in excel (Power View in Excel doesn't work for me as my solution is based on multidimensional cube).
Now I need to display this Pivot Chart report in my SharePoint site default page (please see my question
here)
I can use Power View in SharePoint (thanks to CU 4) for my solution but Power View in SharePoint lakes formatting capabilities.

Designing a crytal report in your case is a quite easy, since no complex functionality exist, it's just and a drag and drop + styling work. To start (I'm supposing that you already have Crystal Report engine installed) check this beginnger tutorial

The second thing is to understand the section of Crystal Report (Header, footer...) in order to know which sections you need and where to put every resume content, I'm seeing that most of the content will fall into Details section, but that is for you to
