Desk stand for the 11" Air

I own the mid 2011 MacBook Air 4,1. It's the 11" model.
When working at my desk, I have it hooked up to an external monitor, keyboard and mouse.
I'm looking for a desk stand that would suit elevating the system to a comfortable eye height.
Could anyone suggest anything?
I've considered iPad stands also, like this one. Due to the rotation capabilities of the Air's screen hinge, this might be ideal.

yes, but I'm trying to use my iPad to type notes (using pages) and I have the smart case which I use as a stand. I need a cable long enough to fit through the back of my desk and the charging brick for the iPad won't fit behind the desk. I have to put it on the floor and then the apple cables aren't long enough to reach.

I have the bluetooth stand alone one for Apple TV but my wife wants a keyboard/stand combined and wants tro know where the mouse would be?

I use the Logitech Ultrathin Keyboard, and I love it. The iPad easily attaches and detaches. The Keyboard acts as a cover in one configuration, move the iPad to the slot and it is a nice stand. It is firm enough in the slot that you can use the back of the keyboard (behind the slot) as a handle to view the iPad vertically. Or you can easily use the iPad on its own. Magnets help to reseat the iPad when you are ready to reattach it.
The keyboard action is quite nice as well.
The version for the iPad Air doesn't close as well as the previous versions - not sure why. I almost didn't buy it because of this. But I am very glad that I did buy it, and in reality with a little care it isn't a problem.

Unless you've done anything to change it, Google keeps every email that ever passes through their server in your All Mail folder/mailbox/label. Even if you delete stuff, they hold onto it, there. You have to go out of your way to actually delete anything permanently.

It's really not recommended. The iPhone's 5w charger does not output enough current to properly charge the battery. It -may- charge but if it did, it would charge the iPad very slowly.
This would be like trying to fill a bucket of water (iPad) with a squirt gun (5w charger)
Also under iOS 7, the charging requirements are much stricter than iOS 6. You'll likey get an error message if you try.

I figured out by trying different sizes to make about a perfect sized wallpaper for the iPhone 5, but can't seem to make one for the iPad air. The dementions I used for the iPhone 5 was 1536x 894 pixels or (12.417 inches Wide x 21.333 inches Height) which fits the iphones wallpaper about perfect. Note this is with having reduce motion ON in the settings>accessibility tab. I used photoshop to create these wallpapers. Please let me know if you have figured this out Thanks!

I reduced the size of my photo small enough so when you go to install it you need to put two fingers on it to stretch it out to fit. Far from an exact science but doable.

The air is different dimensions from other iPads, so look for cases made specifically for it. I know that Targus has some, so does Zagg and i'm sure other manufacturers do as well.

In my experience, the same stylii work well with the Air that worked with my iPad 3 and my iPad 2. You shouldn't have to press hard with any stylus. Stylii are a matter of personal preference. You will get as many suggestions as you get people replying to this thread.
I currently use three. An Adonit Jot Pro, a Pencil by Fifty-Three (mostly for drawing) and an Adonit Jot Script Evernote Edition. I have a collection of cheap Griffin stylii that as well. They work fine and are good to be able to lend to others.

Creative do stand for the lacking support of their produc

I can't see anybody on this forum who hasn't got problem with cracking/noise sounds - it's a known problem. But the thing that do surprice me is the way Creative tackle the problem... by doing nothing, try to bring the motherboard manufactors to wear the blame for not making Nforce-4 motherboards and aged chipsets anymore to stay ali've with the ancient X-fi testing boards. Creative, how creative that now might be, just get a hang of it. We payed for a working product, not for a product potentially working on a fi've year old chipset and motherboard design. Manufactors like MSI, Asus, etc. does not stand for the problem with the X-fi support, it's up to you guys at creative to keep the things running by corporating with these companies and solve the problem if you cannot do that on your own - don't be so blind and hardass. If I got a cup and it just matched the volume my bottle of soda, I find that to be good. But if that bottle of soda volume is increased while my cup?remains in the same?volume then it will drip over the sides. It's not the cups fault things tip over. That's exactly what Creative has been doing, they found a good match between their new product and a old chipset, but once there's a new and better chipset, Creative just didn't catch up, the rest of the industries improvements dripped over the sides of their companys. That's exactly why Creative needs to solve this problem RIGHT NOW or you'll drown in your own unability to take actions. This thread is highly relevant as it gives a more realistic idea of what Creative is doing... Nothing. We got one or to admins on the forum and a few people on the Support, but their words are not actions are does not mean anything if they do not make things change, and they will not. Therefor this forum and their effort is not worth the time - the time should be spent by Creative fixing this problem, but they don't, becuase they don't want to spend money on us who foolishly bought their products in the hope they might actually work. Hard to disagree with the man. If these were budget cards it'd be one thing, but the fact so many of us are getting lumbered with such a horribly anti-atmospheric bug after paying a relati'vely premium price for a sound card is quite another.
It's not even just this forum. Look at product reviews for the cards on shopping sites and the buyer comments have plentiful complaints about the crackling. And if you do a Google search for words that contain 'X-Fi' and 'cracking'? A good 28,600 results. Change 'cracking' to 'crackling' and you get another 6,900. 'Popping' brings up 9,800. Some of those results may overlap, but whatever the case we're in the region of many thousands.
This is not an isolated problem. It may affect a minority, but a minority can by definition be anything up to and including 49%.
Of course, when you're the leader in a market with hardly any competition, why spend the resources, right? :/

Exchanging 3 week old iPad for the iPad Air..?

My iPad 1 finally died about three weeks ago and I use it for work daily so I had to pick up a new iPad at that time.
Three weeks later and it's already a generation behind. lol
Does anyone know if Apple would let me return or exchange it for the iPad Air when it comes out next week?

The exchange period has been extended in the past. IIRC, there were instances of 'return this for a credit that can be used towards the purchase of....', but only apple knows if they will do that with this release.

Case, cover, or bare- which way for the iPad Air?

Love the iPad Air-- light, fast, elegant, and fun!
Like the look of it, though I am concerned about the smooth back and the possibility of a drop; and the exposed front and back potentially leading to scratches by setting it down!
So, tried a wonderful, light, inexpensive, well constructed case by Fintie (have one on my iPad Mini and it works great!). The iPad Air version is only slightly over 7 ounces, but with the Air in it, the Air no longer seems so light, airy, and appealing!
I'm thinking that I need a combination of a light "smart cover" with a thin clear, see-through vinyl, scratch-protecting sheet for the back. That way, the Air'll have some protection from scratches and screen damage, but it could also leave its "docking" station (i.e., take off the cover).
Any recommendations for such combos? Do they even exist?

Well, I may have found one... there was a sizing problem, but it seems they've fixed that. Anyone here tried it?
