If it is good in the Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to figure out which one.

Palm Desk Top 6.2 Address Look Up Function Does Not Work In Windows 7

I recently upgraded my desk top computer's operating system from Windows Vista Home Premium to Windows 7 Home Premium.  I synchronize with a Palm Tx PDA.  HP PalmOS customer support Chat helped me work through a compatibility issue that was preventing display of Address, Calendar, Memo and To Do items on my desk top computer via the Palm Desk Top 6.2 application.  I now find that the address look up function does not work (although it worked fine when I was running Vista). Without success, I tried running the repair tool as well as reloading the software (both overlay and clean reinstall). I would appreciate any help or suggestions to fix?

I cant click and drag my photostream photos to pin them to my desk top with out them being very small and not being able to make notes in paint brush on them. I used to before the update.

I used to be able to open, click and drag photos from a photo stream folder, and pin them to my desk top. After the update my PC made me download icloud to my computer to access my photo stream pictures. Now if I go into my icloud photostream tab click and drag. It asks me if I trust the computer I am saving it to. If I click yes, it save this tiny picture to my desk top.
In order to accomplish what I need to do with the photos I have a few extra steps added to my perfect process. Has any body ran into this and do you know how to simplify this.

Hi this did not work either.
Also when I tried to log into this forum the browser just kept taking back to the login page. There were no errors, it was as if it was stuck in a loop. The page refreshed but moved no where. My user name and password were there but nothing happened. It took a reboot to allow access.
This seems to be something I have noticed. When a page reopens on start up or from a link it will not load the page properly causing errors.
Also on a similar note the new Firefox is not remembering passwords. Specifically to hotmail.

If you would like to open your repository in offline mode, then you need to configure xwindows / mapping linux drive to your windows. you would need to install client tools on your laptop and access the repository as if in local system by mapping the drive.

Desk top ikon won't open

I have been given a 12ins Power book which I'm trying to set up for my daughter. the Hard Disck Ikon on the desk top won't open nor will another item I copied over from a memory stick. Unfortunately I copied all the Applications into the HD disc ikon so can only open Applications that ar ein the Dock, Mail, Safari etc.
I have used Permissions Repair in Disk Utility twice without any change in the Desk top problem.
Anybody got any ideas?

I see that your desktop fan is running at high capacity, even when you are not using the computer, and I would be happy to help you! To begin, I will need to ask you a few questions:
What is the Product and Model Number of your desktop computer?
What version of Windows is installed on your computer?
Is this a recent or an on-going issue?
The first step in I recommend is to follow this document on Fan is Noisy and Spins Constantly (Windows 7) and (Windows 8). This should help in finding out the root of the issue. In addition, I also suggest following this resource on Reducing Heat Inside the PC to Prevent Overheating.
The next step will be for Improving System Performance without Adding Memory (Windows 7) and (Windows 8). This should help with the functionality of the software in conjunction with the fan.

Yes I tried that. I finally turned off all home sharing settings, shut down my desktop and found them in my account settings in the store on the cloud. So at that point I just had it download everything. But I suspect that with the ipad somehow being on, the store was saying I had already received them? Regardless, my trip today whilst running errands, I was rocking out to vintage Police music! Thank you so much for responding.
