DeskJet 3650 background color printing in FastDraft

I need help finding a way of printing the alternating color backgrounds in Office 2007 (especially Access alternating report backgrounds) using my DeskJet 3650 printer using the FastDraft print quality option.
Any help would be appricateed.
Thanks.

After extensive research, I found that the cartridge is outdated; therefore color printing doesn't work. We have several cartridges that are outdated and did not know how to check date (NOW WE KNOW). Using an unexpired cartridge we had LIFT OFF!!!!

  • My deskjet 3650 will only Print if I reboot my computer.

When I instruct my HP Deskjet 3650 to print, nothing happens. But if I shut down and reboot my computer it then begins to print. So every time I want to print something, after giving the print command, I have to turn off and restart my computer for the printing job to commence.
My computer is a Dell Inspiron Laptop. OS is Windows XP home editio.

    Hi wjlaky,
Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.
You've already done a great job troubleshooting this issue so far where your iPad's screen will not rotate, as there is just one more step to follow.  The next step is to back up and then restore your iPad to factory settings.
Use iTunes to restore your iOS device to factory settings - Apple Support

  • Form field background color printing - acrobat pro 8, Windows

My committee is tasked with making about 150 PDF forms writable and savable each year for a national organization. Over 3,000 people use these forms for reporting purposes, and also people who are entering contests, such as students, submit these forms. This is the first year my committee has made the forms savable, as it is a new feature in v8.
PROCESS: The PDF forms we receive are generated in Quark and sent to us. We cannot use Live Cycle to make the forms writable, as it generates files sizes that are too big for some of our users to download. We draw form fields and set up calculations, etc. on the forms we receive. Making them savable is the last step in the process.
PROBLEM: Some users have reported having the form fields print in blue or green. Usually upgrading to Reader 8+ solves this problem. Unfortunately, some users are sending in forms that are almost unreadable because the form fields have a colored background--(they didn't contact us). It's hard to determine how widespread this problem really is.
I spoke with Adobe technical support and learned that this isn't a "known" issue. He suggested that setting the background to "white" in Quark before the PDF is generated might help.
Does anyone have a solution that will keep these forms from printing colors in field backgrounds in earlier versions of Reader? Or any way to set the background color when NOT using Live Cycle?
    Thanks for any help!

Olaf, I tried to send you an email at the above address, and got the following message:
Delivery to the following recipient failed permanently:
    PERM_FAILURE: SMTP Error (state 13): 553 5.3.0 <your email address>... Relaying denied
I did substitute for AT and DOT, so I did the email correctly.
    Thanks, Patsy

  • I cannot get my HP PSC 1610 or HP Deskjet 3650 to print in color. I Need Help Please!

I have a PSC 1610 and a deskjet 3650.  Both printers have good ink levels and I have cleaned the cartriges, printed test pages, and troubleshot them.  Neither will print color!  The grayscale box is not checked and I have been through all the steps online to try to rectify the situation and nothing is working.  Test pages just print out black type.  I uninstalled and reinstalled the printers and updated the drivers.  I'm out of ideas.  Please Help!

  • HT3669 I have an HP deskjet color printer that only prints in black and white from my mac ... how do I get it to print in color

I have an HP deskjet color printer that only prints in black and white from my mac ... how do I get it to print in color

Check the printer itself.  Some printers you need to set the color & B&W settings on the printer itself instead of the Mac.   If that is not the case w/your printer, contact HP tech support and/or post in their forums if they have one.

  • HP Color LaserJet CP1215 - Color printing - Page prints yellow background

Good morning --- I don't believe I have posted to this forum before, so I hope someone can help me solve this issue.
    My CP1215 color LaserJet -
    printing pref set to color-
printing a document with colored icons, etc. or color photograph
Results: the "background" or what should be the white area, is yellow - bright yellow.
If I switch printing pref to B/W, I get a black/white document or photo.  Of course, no color.
I have replaced the yellow toner cartridge (HP product) TWICE, the second one just this morning.
    There are NO error messages.
Tried running the cleaning tool; disconnect/reconnect, etc.  No luck.
I gave up trying to solve this issue 2 years ago, and have kept the pref set to black/white with no tech issues.
Now, however, I have the need to print in color, and I would really like to figure out how to correct this problem.
This printer is a monster - ~30 lbs or more, and I would rather not have to haul it to a computer shop or ship it.
If anyone out there has had this problem, please let me know how/if you were able to resolve it.  Many thanks.
    Susan - Threecats

    Hi Threecats
I understand when you print in color you are getting a yellow background.
I have included a document for troubleshooting the all yellow background printing.
Print out a configuration page from Solution eight first. This document  will provide steps for cleaning and calibrating the printer. The Print quality troubleshooting page will identify the print cartridge that is causing the issue.
Let me know the results when you compare it to the one in the document and if the background printed yellow again. Also the Print quality troubleshooting page results.
What kind of paper are you using?
Please click “Accept as Solution ” if you feel my post solved your issue, it will help others find the solution.
Click the “Kudos Thumbs Up" on the right to say “Thanks” for helping!

  • How do I change the background color on pages I try to print or view?

when I installed/downloaded Mozilla/Firefox originally, I "set" an option that changed the "background" color for certain pages that I download. When I try to print some pages, the entire background (or some blank spaces) is printed in a purple color. (It uses too much ink to print a page.)
Can't find where I can change the original settings I used and make the background white, or no color at all.

Specifically to add a background color, no. The only workaround I am aware of is to add a text box to the document format and expand it to cover the entire page. Available colors will be limited, and you may need to experiment with the opacity.

  • Printing AnyGantt creates black background color

I use a customized AnyGantt chart. When I try to print it on a page A3 I get a mean issue with the background color. It becomes black. The Chart itself looks good.
When I try the same with examples from AnyChart.com the no black background appears. I don't see a difference.
The black background occurs with my PDF Creator, my real printer and if I save it as a picture.
    Example application: http://apex.oracle.com/pls/apex/f?p=ANYGANTT_PROBLEM:1

  • Print outs have thin border when -default-background-color is set

Hey everyone.  In my application the print out have this very thin border.  The -default-background-color is set to #333333 (dark grey) and this is the problem.  When I set the color to #FFFFFF (white), the thin borders go away.
When I set the default-backgroun-color to #FFFFFF, my loading screen is white.  I don't want that.
Does anyone know how I can have my loading screen with a #333333, but not have the thin border lines around my print outs?  Setting the border properties on the printed component doesn't work.  The problem is with the background color.
    Thanks for reading.
    Tom

Still hacking away at this problem.
I thought I had the fix until I deployed the AIR application.  Setting the -default-background-color to white worked fine when running from flex builder, but when I installed the application.  The "borders" are still showing.
Has anyone had any experience with this?  I'm printing Point of Sale receipts and they look like crap with these lines around them.  On top of this, some printers print differently.  The HPs print a border around the whole component. The Brother printers just print the left and right.  One of my customer's printers just prints the bottom and right borders.

  • Printing background color - NOT

I have someone who insists on sending me meeting minutes as email with a background color for the email. I'd like to turn off the background for printing, but can't figure how to do this.
If I ask the printer to print B&W I get a grey background. In any case I'm wasting a lot of ink for no added value. (color or black)
In Sys 9 I used to be able to ask the printer to just do B&W and no grey scale and would get this.
    Any thoughts?
I'm using sys 10.3.9 and an Epson stylus color 740 with the default drivers from OS 10.
    Thanks,
    Ken

It sounds like they're sending you HTML email. Before you print it, you'll have to change the format to plain text in your email program. You can easily do this in Mail Preferences.

  • Background color using a print template

    Hi to everybody,
I would like to change the background color over a template print.
I do not know if is possible to do it ?? I can not find in the print module the option to change it...
I have tried to edit a template... looking for the line code to change it but it was impossible... I need to change white color to black...
    Thanks in advance
    Ignacio.

You can't do it using the normal interface. One trick to circumvent this that some people use is to use a passe-partout graphic that you make in a different program as a watermark image.

  • The toolbar displays File, Edit, View, etc. print too small & barely able to read. How to enlarge print. Also background color of toolbars hard to read. It is black. make larger?

The Menu Bar, Roboform Bar in general all toolbars the print is too small and barely able to read. Please tell me how to enlarge the print. Also, the background color is black and hard to read. Thanks for any help you can give me.

Use this extension to adjust the font size for the user interface:
*Theme Font & Size Changer: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/theme-font-size-changer/
Increase the String pref layout.css.devPixelsPerPx from 1.0 to 2.0 in 0.1 or 0.05 steps to adjust the size of all fonts and other elements in Firefox.<br />
In current Firefox versions this pref is a String value parsed to a float and allows to fine tune the dimensions of all elements (user interface and web pages) more precisely.
You can use an extension to set a default font size and page zoom on web pages if the above steps made the text too large.
    *Default FullZoom Level: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/default-fullzoom-level/

  • Background color still prints even though Page Preview: Options is unchecked

The Options button in Page Setup (to print out the actual background color), is NOT checked. This should cause the page to print with a white background. The web page I printed had a green background; as did the page I printed out. How do I prevent this as it wastes a lot of ink?
This seems to happen whenever the web page doesn't have its own background color and so either uses mine (green) or the system colors (background color is a light salmon). How do I get it to print out with a white background?

Trying to wrap my brain around this one.
Many programs? Are you printing different files or they same file? Is it a PDF?
If PDF and in Acrobat, have you checked the page setup (CommandShiftP).
This will let you know what size of paper Acrobat is expecting to print to.
In the bottom left corner of your screen is the status bar which should show the size of the page in your document. Does this match the sheet size you are printing to? In your preview of the Page, are you seeing the entire page or is the view zoomed in?
Sorry for all the questions but I'm trying to figure out what is going on. Acrobat can be down right nasty when it wants to.
    Let me know

  • BUG(?): background color not in print profile

When printing a photo from Lightroom 3 with paper background color this color is not corrected for printing, although I print with icc, print profile from Spyderprint. The photo itself is corrected. This means that the paper backround is colored instead of gray, for example.
Is this a bug? I think so, because I there is no way I can change this.
    Thanks

Hello CameraHans (are you Dutch, by the way?)
The whole border or sheet has a color cast. The photo itself has not. Both are in greys, so I will do as you suggested and look what happens when I do this in colors.
I will insert 3 screenshots, 2 of the Lightroom environment, and 1 of the print preview, I used here the 'contour' to show the effect. You can very well see that the color of the border does not change at all, Thanks, Hans van den Berg
