DeskJet 450 and bluetooth module...no connection.

Hi There,
I just wonder if there is anyone who can help me with setting Bluetooth connection between my Mac Book Pro and HP DeskJet 450. I have recently bought Bluetooth module card CB004A for above mentioned printer, however for some reason I can’t establish any connection between laptop and the printer itself. I am using OS 10.5 and Bluetooth assistant, but this utility can’t find any bluetooth device near by. Bluetooth module is correctly inserted and power light is on.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Hi,
Its HP branded module but HP website does not provide any solid informations about any drivers for this module. I did googled around but there is no any subjects, which may help me tho.
Thank you

    Hi,

The module's signal is very weak, I have to open my powermac's door and move the wireless keyboard or phone literally right next to it, in order to get a connection. Is there an antenna I need to have in order to get a connection with the powermac's door close? Or can the module be defective? Thanks

Its for the G5 but may be helpful,
    Just located this Adding Bluetooth.
Also when the Apple store installed my module, they gave me the external antenna which connects to the rear of the G5.
    Hope this helps

  • 3720 Classic and bluetooth PC Suite connection

Hello, I'm having problems setting up the bluetooth connection with a 3720 phone. PC Suite is updated to the latest version, and everything is working fine on the same PC with my old 5500 Sport.
When making the new connection, it's not asking to verify the usual 123 code by entering it on the phone, a separate window is popping up with a random code (looks like 123 456) and the same code is shown on the phone. If I click OK and authorize on the phone, the PC is added to the paired devices list.
But it seems like PC Suite is still waiting to verify the 123 and it's saying that it's not able to connect to the phone.
    How can I solve this?

Excuse the thread bump but I am also interested in the workaround, as I am facing the exact same problem. Nokia PC Suite doesn't work with the WIDCOMM bluetooth stack (for XP 64 or 32 - I happen to use the 64bit versions) and the WIDCOMM bluetooth stack is essential for all Logitech bluetooth devices to connect to the pc. Microsoft's bluetooth stack does not work with Logitech products. So I'm stuck with WIDCOMM.

  • Cisco 10GBASE X2 and Xenpak Modules- cable connection?

Which cable use for connection between Cisco X2-10GB-SR and Xenpak Modules or 10GBASE XENPAK and 10GBASE XENPAK  (SMF or MMF) ?
Which cable use for connection between 10GBASE XENPAK and 10GBASE XENPAK  (SMF or MMF) ?
I think it is MMF cable.
But my customer test SMF cable with 10GBASE XENPAK and 10GBASE XENPAK  module, they see blue led of those module.
It happen with with one couple module; with another couple of module, it dont happen.
btw, I see this picture in cisco.com (Cisco 10GBASE X2 and Xenpak Modules.jpg), it has yellow cable in the picture.
As I know, yellow cable= SMF cable, orange cable= MMF cable. this thing make me confuse.
    Thank you.

    Dear Tom,
The length of SMF is under 100 meters, it connect from 7th floor to 9th floor. There are patch cord on each floor.
We have tested the connection by direct FO cable (single mode 2 meters) with SFP LRM-to-LRM and LRM-to-LR. Both the test are okay. So it means that the SFP is okay.
We'll check again with looping back the signal from our existing FO.
    Thanks
    Imad

  • Upgrading T510 webcam and bluetooth.

Does anyone know if the webcam and bluetooth modules that the T520 use can simply be dropped into the T510? These are two upgrades I am tempted to do to my system.

    hey Nambiar,
uninstall both webcam and bluetooth drivers from device manager. let windows install its generic drivers.
once done, see if you're able to use it.

  • Connecting audio speakers via external Bluetooth module

I have an USB bluetooth module (manufactured by Broadcom) to connect to a bluetooth-enabled stereo, but it won't work. I think it must be a software problem. Can anyone help with this?
The device is set up properly, and paired with the stereo.
But in System Preferences > Bluetooth > Devices, it says "Connected: No".
I've updated the Bluetooth software (from Apple).
I've rebooted with the device plugged into the USB port.
I've confirmed (in System Profiler) that the port is recognized.
And I've managed to play music on the same stereo using a different laptop with a built-in bluetooth device.
Can anyone help me resolve this? I'd be really grateful.

yea i have the same problem...no idea how to get the device to say connected: yes

  • IPhone 6 and Bluetooth phone connectivity issues with my vehicle: this is how I fixed it.

With so many threads on this topic, I wanted to detail the steps I took to fix my iPhone 6 Bluetooth issues regarding connectivity to my vehicle and handsfree calling.  My phone was pairing with my vehicle without a problem and syncing my contacts and call history but when I attempted to make a call (from either the phone or the vehicle screen) the audio went out and I could not hear the call either through the vehicle speakers or on the phone. The call was going through but I was unable to see it on my vehicle screen and/or hear it either the phone or the vehicle screen.
Based on my research and what I have learned so far, the people having problems are those who restored their new iPhone 6 from an iCloud backup from a previous phone, rather than setting up their iPhone 6 as a new phone.  I did an iCloud restore from my previous 5s running iOS 8.
First, I am a Verizon customer and I enabled Advanced Calling on my line.  After I requested that this feature be added to my line, under “Cellular” settings on my iPhone, I enabled LTE voice & data.
    Next steps:
    1) Unpair/remove iPhone from the vehicle;
    2) Forget/remove the vehicle from the phone Bluetooth settings;
    3) Soft reset the iPhone;
    4) Reset network settings on the iPhone; and
    5) Pair the phone to the vehicle again and attempt to make a call.
    If that does not work…
    6) Perform a factory reset, erasing EVERYTHING from your phone and set it up as a new iPhone rather than restoring from a backup.
Resetting the network settings seems to be working for some people.  It did not work for me.  I tried it a few times with no result.  I did the dreaded factory reset, paired the phone with my vehicle and had all of my Bluetooth functionality back and was able to use the handsfree phone with zero issues.
I was on the phone yesterday multiple times with Apple, Toyota Entune, Verizon and my Toyota dealer. Verizon blamed Toyota Entune, Toyota Entune blamed Verizon and my Toyota dealer blamed Apple.  Nobody had a clue how to fix this issue or what was causing it. I don’t know the exact reason why the previous iCloud backups are killing the Bluetooth connections, I just know what worked for me and I thought it was worth sharing.
    Good luck.

The new 8.0.2 update DID NOT FIX THIS ISSUE AT ALL. After you power off and on with the phone, same issue as the 8.0, all 3 of my cars lost Bluetooth connection and shows no signal at all.  Good job Apple, what a lousy update you guys did.

  • I have an ipad and a bluetooth keyboard which was initially set up with a family member's account. Their account has been erased I am now using the ipad but cannot get the bluetooth keyboard to connect. no device is recognized. any suggestions????

I have an Apple iPad Mini With Wi-Fi 16GB and a Rock Bluetooth keyboard that was previously used by my daughter. Her information was erased from the ipad and I have set it up as a new user under my account. All went well until I tried to set up the keyboard. When I go to Settings and turn on Bluetooth the ipad does not detect any device. I know they were paired and working when she was using them. Could it be because the ipad/keyboard were operating with her account and know won't connect to mine? We do not live in the same city so how would I clear the keyboard so that I could connect it to a 'new' ipad?

    Hi sugaliko,
You may need to set up your BlueTooth connection to the keyboard again. Use the steps in this article for guidance -

  • Wi-fi connection on HP Deskjet 2540 and network at the same time?

    Hello
Please can you tell me how to keep my connection to my wi-fi printer whilst connected to my Virgin Media Broadband? Every time I want to print I have to switch off the Virgin network connection and connect to the HP Deskjet Wi-fi, and then switch it back again to Virgin to browse or send emails.
    Thank you for your help
    AC33

    Hey there @AC33 Welcome back
I understand you are looking to install your printer on your network, so you can use the internet and printer at the same time. By the sounds of it, you may be connecting the printer currently, using the Wireless Direct feature, which will only allow you to connect to the printer or the network at a time. Basically, the printer is acting like a network.
Here is a link for you to check out. It will help you install the printer on your network:
