Deskjet 5652: No color on printed pages

Hello ! Color doesnot work for mixed black / colored files. It works for colored file only. The Option before Print is the Color one (but it automatically returns to Black Option after printing : how can I change this ?). Same problem with different file. HP update is made. Thank you for your help.

Hi, swissmaggie. No, it's not iPhoto's problem — iPhoto 6 can print just fine in color. The problem is in your printer or your print settings. Are you sure you've selected color printing?
If color printing is selected, use your printer's testing and cleaning routines (probably accessible from the Print dialog box — if not, see the printer's manual or online help) to make sure your color ink nozzles aren't clogged.

    I installed an HP Deskjet D4260 on my dell inspiron 531 with Vista Home. After updating to vista service pack 2 the color on all print jobs is off. (reds/greens/white seem to be correct, but black is being printed as blue)
    I've replaced the black cartridge. Also, as per other discussions I found online, is was recommended to uninstall, so I've also uninstalled and reinstalled all printer software and drivers, yet the problem persists.
    Do you know of another solution(s) to this problem?

    First thing to find out is if this issue is caused by hardware of software. To do this please print a testpage by Pressing and holding the Power button, press the Photo button and release both. Add this picture to the post by clicking the insert/edit picture button so that i can have a look.

  • HP Color LaserJet CP1215 - Color printing - Page prints yellow background

    Good morning --- I don't believe I have posted to this forum before, so I hope someone can help me solve this issue. 
    My CP1215 color LaserJet -
    printing pref set to color-
    printing a document with colored icons, etc. or color photograph
    Results: the "background" or what should be the white area, is yellow - bright yellow.  
    If I switch printing pref to B/W, I get a black/white document or photo.  Of course, no color.
    I have replaced the yellow toner cartridge (HP product) TWICE, the second one just this morning.
    There are NO error messages.
    Tried running the cleaning tool; disconnect/reconnect, etc.  No luck.
    I gave up trying to solve this issue 2 years ago, and have kept the pref set to black/white with no tech issues.
    Now, however, I have the need to print in color, and I would really like to figure out how to correct this problem.
    This printer is a monster - ~30 lbs or more, and I would rather not have to haul it to a computer shop or ship it.
    If anyone out there has had this problem, please let me know how/if you were able to resolve it.  Many thanks.

    I understand when you print in color you are getting a yellow background.
    I have included a document for troubleshooting the all yellow background printing.
    Print out a configuration page from Solution eight first. This document  will provide steps for cleaning and calibrating the printer. The Print quality troubleshooting page will identify the print cartridge that is causing the issue.
    Let me know the results when you compare it to the one in the document and if the background printed yellow again. Also the Print quality troubleshooting page results.

    Your HP Deskjet 3050 is printing BLANK PAGES? 
    The printer ejects blank sheets of paper when printing. Some or all the printed pages might be partially blank or half printed. It can be the software that you are printing from or program. Sometimes it can be the actual print head needs cleaning or cartridges are low.

    Yes, the link is down. 
    See if you can print a self-test page or printer status report from the printer itself. If so, then it is a software or connection issue. 
    If you can print test page, try to use a different USB cable. Also, you can uninstall and re-install the software and drivers. 
    If you are NOT able to print a test page from the printer, try to clean the cartridges with lint free cloth and water.

  • Does anyone know how to print in color on a pages on Pages on a MacBook Pro?

    I have a project that I need to print out, and I recently just got a MacBook Pro, so I'm not 100% acquainted to Pages. SO PLEASE HELP!!!!

    Any application can print in color, which is the default, if a color-capable printer is configured and accessible by the Mac. It is no different than printing in B/W.
    Just make sure the printer is set up correctly so the Mac knows what it can do and how to drive it. If you want more help in the set up department, you'll have to provide more info as to what printer(s) you have.

  • Windows7 deskjet 5652 Photopaper print lines

    The Deskjet 5652 works fine under XP. Now a new PC with Windows7. I did NOT install additional software from the original cd. I just plugged the usb plug in the PC. The printer works fine, however I have a three column folder to print from Word2007 and the problem is that a dashed line is always printed above the text (header margin).
    If I create the same document again, from scratch, it doesn't make a difference.
    The black dashed line (not perfect, some dashes and not always on the same place, but always at the top line) is not there when I print a normal document.
    Why is this hapening?

  • My screen background color is off-white & this color comes through on the print page. Page Setup/Print Background is set off. How do I fix this? Problem first popped up with version 6, still there with version 8.0.1

    File/Page Setup/Format & Options/Options/Print Background (colors & images): Check box set off.
    This setting does not work as my screen background color still comes through on the print preview & the print page.
    Is this because the newer Firefox versions have blocked my graphics driver version?

  • Alternating Printed Page then Blank Page, Deskjet 950C

    MY Deskjet 950C suddenly decided to start alternating printed pages with blank pages, when printing any amount of pages or copies (blank comes second).
    Operating this on Vista, connected via USB using the Vista driver (since HP doesn't offer Vista driver for older printer), the one that gives printer name as "Deskjet 950C/952C/959C".
    I'm using Letter size paper, have tried all Paper Source settings (Auto, Upper Tray, Manual) and have set Scale To Paper Size to both Letter and No Scaling. Have tried Print Page: 1 and Print Current Page, still prints a blank after the printed page.
    I use this as a 'workhorse" printer for bulk jobs. My HP C7250 All-In-One is working perfectly normal.
    I've run out of ideas, and it's a pain to keep taking out those blanks.
    Any ideas anyone?

    Ok, strangely enough it stopped.
    I went in to Media (paper Type) and changed it to HP Brightwhite Inkjet paper, then changed it back to Plain Paper, and it's not doing it anymore.
    Strange. Very Strange.

  • Color Laserjet prints extra pages on startup

    I just bought a CP1518ni color laserjet printer and installed it.  It works fine except that whenever I restart my computer, the printer prints 3 extra pages.  Each has a single B&W line with gibberish printed at the top.  I've tried uninstalling and then reinstalling the printer but the symptoms remain the same.
    I am running Windows XP. 
    Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

  • My HP Deskjet 1510 All-in-One Prints Test Page But not emails or Web Pages, ect

    My Deskjet 1510 All-in-One Printer is Hooked up. All tests show a Green Arrow, It is Turned on, and Online. It will Print a TEST PAGE, but nothing else. I have Run the HP DR Support program several times to no avail. No Error Codes or Signs appear. It simply will NOT WORK other than printing a TESTPAGE or Scanning Copies on the Printer/Copy Machine. Please Help. I have been trying to get it to work for a week. It IS a New Printer. I have tried it on 2 seperate Computers which work well with other Brands of Printers. One Runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit, Acer Aspire Desktop. The Other a Dell T5400 running Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit . Printer is set as DEFAULT. ALL SOFTWARE is UPDATED AND INSTALLED. It says it is installed properly, and that it is Hooked up Properly, Yet it will NOT work properly. Thank you.

    Welcome to the HP Community , I read through your post about the printing issues you have been having, and I hope to help you! Seeing how the printer will make copies and test print tells us that the printer itself is fine and there is no hardware issues. However, seeing how printing from two different computers will not work, flags a software problem on the computers. Please try out the steps below and get back to me with the results and we will go from there. If you did not install the Full Driver, run the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows to search and install the complete driver and software. This will need to run on both computers individually. Manually restart the print spoolers on the computers:1. Click Start
    2. Type "Services" in the search field.
    3. Open SERVICES
    4. At the bottom, click "Extended View"
    5. Search for Print Spooler
    6. Right-click it and choose Properties
    7. Select as Automatic in the drop down box, close the Window
    8. Right click on Print Spooler and choose "Stop", wait until it stops and then right click again and "Start".
    9. Close out of Services and try printing from Notepad.10. Try printing from a web browser now, if there is a problem with the print, try a different web browser.  Show thanks for my reply to help you today by hitting the "thumbs up" icon below!I hope to hear from you, good luck!

  • Jpg background color is inverted to black in Supporting Document print page

    In Packaging spec, print page,  background of some of the the jpgs in supporting documents are inverted to black. we had similar issue happened to WMF, we were instructed by Oracle to use jpg since WMF is not among the supported format. but now jpg is having the same issue. any suggestions?

    Hello @arfgagan , welcome to the forums
    I understand you are only able to print one page and the printer shuts down. This could be a hardware problem with the printer or perhaps an issue with the program you're printing from.
    Try a power reset and ensure the printer is plugged in directly to the wall outlet, avoiding power bars and surge protectors. This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help greatly.
    Press the Power button to turn on the product.
    With the product turned on, disconnect the power cord from the rear of the product.
    Unplug the power cord from the wall outlet.
    Wait at least 15 seconds.
    Plug the power cord back into the wall outlet.
    Reconnect the power cord to the rear of the product.
    If the product does not turn on by itself, press the Power button to turn it on.
    Afterwards, try printing from a couple different programs and let me know which programs you have tested and what the results were.
    Also run the Print and Scan Doctor. This diagnostic tool will check for any conflicts that could be causing the issue. The tool will show you a report at the end. Send me a screen shot of the results.

    Hey I've got a deskjet 5652 setup on a network and I can't figure out how to print a config page out of it to find the IP of the printer? anyone know the series of buttons that need to pushed to make this happen.

    problem description : When I try to print a page containing coloured items the coloured parts fail to print. (The items are totally missing, they are not replaced by grey scale images) I have done all the usual things as per list:-
    troubleshooting : 1) Rebooted my computer.
    2) Disconnected the USB cable and reconnected it.
    3) Changed the colour cartridge.
    4) Examined the printer settings in the control Panel, colour is selected and all other settings seem normal.
    5) De-selected the printer as the "Default Printer" and re-installed it.
    6) Run software that checks the driver is up to date and it is.
    7) Printed the built in test page "beautiful color made easy" only the header and footer print,no colour!

    Hi  - Go ahead and try the steps in this document.  It will walk you through cleaning the contacts on both the cartridge and in the carriage.  What can happen over time is ink residue can accumulate on the contacts preventing the ink cartridges from working properly.  If this doesn't resolve the issue, try setting the cartridge with the nozzles face down on a damp paper towel for about 45 seconds just to resolve any problems with the ink nozzles.
