My printer shows an E in the start copy window and it says by black ink is low, which I just replaced brand new last week and it was printing great until last night. What do I do?

    Welcome to the forums Natalee!
I saw your post about the issue you are having with your F4200 model showing you an E and giving you a low ink alert for the black cartridge. If you have already tried a new cartridge, please let me know which model of F4200 you have and I will look for troubleshooting guides for you to try.

  • HP Deskjet F2480 All-in-One prints BLANK PAGES

Dear All, I have a serious issue with my HP Deskjet F2480 All-in-One Colour Ink-jet - Printer / copier / scanner. The thing is that it prints BLANK PAGES. I tried everything from the manualHP Deskjet F2400 All-in-One series:
"Print troubleshootingTry the following solutions to resolve the issue. Solutions are listed in order, with the mostlikely solution first. If the first solution does not solve the problem, continue trying theremaining solutions until the issue is resolved.• Check cartridges• Check paper• Check product• Check printer settings• Reset the product" IT DIDN'T WORK! The printer is still printing BLANK PAGES. The ink level is sufficient to print a page - the HP Solution Centerapplication says that 'the actual ink levels may vary' but it shows a tick-mark, which means that everythingshould work. However it still start the process of printing (blank) and blows the page again - blank page. HELP? HOW CAN I RESOLVE THIS PROBLEM?  janviv1

  • My HP Deskjet 1510 All-in-One Prints Test Page But not emails or Web Pages, ect

My Deskjet 1510 All-in-One Printer is Hooked up. All tests show a Green Arrow, It is Turned on, and Online. It will Print a TEST PAGE, but nothing else. I have Run the HP DR Support program several times to no avail. No Error Codes or Signs appear. It simply will NOT WORK other than printing a TESTPAGE or Scanning Copies on the Printer/Copy Machine. Please Help. I have been trying to get it to work for a week. It IS a New Printer. I have tried it on 2 seperate Computers which work well with other Brands of Printers. One Runs Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit, Acer Aspire Desktop. The Other a Dell T5400 running Windows 7 Professional 64 Bit . Printer is set as DEFAULT. ALL SOFTWARE is UPDATED AND INSTALLED. It says it is installed properly, and that it is Hooked up Properly, Yet it will NOT work properly. Thank you.

Welcome to the HP Community , I read through your post about the printing issues you have been having, and I hope to help you! Seeing how the printer will make copies and test print tells us that the printer itself is fine and there is no hardware issues. However, seeing how printing from two different computers will not work, flags a software problem on the computers. Please try out the steps below and get back to me with the results and we will go from there. If you did not install the Full Driver, run the HP Printer Install Wizard for Windows to search and install the complete driver and software. This will need to run on both computers individually. Manually restart the print spoolers on the computers:1. Click Start
    2. Type "Services" in the search field.
    3. Open SERVICES
    4. At the bottom, click "Extended View"
    5. Search for Print Spooler
    6. Right-click it and choose Properties
    7. Select as Automatic in the drop down box, close the Window
    8. Right click on Print Spooler and choose "Stop", wait until it stops and then right click again and "Start".
    9. Close out of Services and try printing from Notepad.10. Try printing from a web browser now, if there is a problem with the print, try a different web browser.  Show thanks for my reply to help you today by hitting the "thumbs up" icon below!I hope to hear from you, good luck!

  • Deskjet F4280. Only producing blank pages

    Hello,
I have a Deskjet F4280 all in one connected to a laptop using Windows 7. The printer status says ready to print but when the print command is given, the printer gives out a blank page through the feeder. I checked the ink levels and they are not low. The printer has not been used in a long time so I do not know if this will have something to do with it. No error messages are given.
    Thanks

Hi - The first thing I'd try is a self test to isolate the problem.  If the self test isn't printing, than I'm guessing you've got a problem with the ink cartridges (dried up) especially if the printer hasn't been used in a while.  Try following the steps in this document to print a self test.  If the self test comes out blank, you can try recovering the ink cartridges by placing them with the nozzles face down on a damp paper towel (make sure you don't place the cartridges and paper towel on something that would be damaged by ink).  If that doesn't resolve the issue, you'll want to try a new set of cartridges.
    Hope that helps.

  • Printing problem with HP deskjet 3050 all in one J610 series

I have a HP deskjet 3050 all in one J610 series which I am using with Windows Vista Version 6.0 (Build 6006: Service pack 2).  Connecting is by USB port.  I have not used the printer for some time, but have done all the maintence checks & it is good to go.  When I want to print a letter the only thing that gets printed is the email address which is coloured blue.  I think the problem is in the settings of the printer features.  I can print the letter in gray scale but this is not easy to read and not suitable for business dealings.
I would appreciate help with this problem.  A definition of the terms used in the printer features might help me resolve it by my self.
    Thanks

  • HP Deskjet 3050A All-in-one printer J611 series - mavericks and wireless set up

    Hi
I have a HP Deskjet 3040A All-in-one printer J611, I have had this printer for about 2years and everything worked perfect then I bought an Apple still all was alright but when I updated my software I got Mavericks and ever since then everything went wrong....I have updated my computer and have AirPrint now and also HP ePrint(currently). How ever the printer was not working or connecting.
    Problem 1:
When I tried to fix the problem I uninstalled all HP drivers to reinstall - found that you have to install the apple app Done!(Airprint)
The printer was picked up by the computer and I can scan but I can not print, I'm using the USB cable, and when I print the computer shows it is printing and the printers lights come on but nothing happens(no messages display on the printer) then the computer shows the print is done - but the printer didn't print. Scan is working fine.
    Problem 2:
Because of constant problems with the wireless connection I wanted to reconnect it to the router - Restore default.
But now because I don't have the HP drivers, I have no idea how to connect it and I tried both connection ways WPS is not working when I press it on the route...nothing happens and the PIN, where are you suppose to enter the pin, nothing comes up on my computer (USB connected)
I have read the installation pages over and over but can't figure out what is wrong, any advice would be appreciated.
    This question was solved.

    Hi Lilly4,
I can certainly help you get the printer on the network and working again.
Follow the steps in this thread to put the printer on the network without using the software or the WPS button. I believe  we have success doing it this way.
If you continue to experience an issue after the printer is on the network, please let me know. Thanks.
    Hope this helps.

  • HP DeskJet 3055A All-In-One Jobs Series margin

    Hi,
I recently reinstalled Windows 7 on my laptop and ever since the top margin is too big and bottom margin too small.
I haven't found a setting to correct this.
The drivers are installed from the HP site and are the drivers for the HP DeskJet 3050A All-In-One J611 Series as suggested by the HP site. I ran all the HP Print and Scan doctor and the HP  Hardware Diagnose Progranm 4.1.
Does anyone know who I can fix this problem coz this is very annoying:
Everything I print a art of the bottom falls of th page and isn't printed?
    Thanks,
    Bas

    Hi @basf ,
I understand that you are having issues with the top and bottom margins not printing properly. I will do my best to assist you with this issue.
    What application are you using?
Check the page setup in the application you are printing from?
Try another application to see if you have the same results.
Here is a document for checking the paper size and paper type settings from the print driver.
Changing Print Settings in Windows 8.
How is the printer connected? (USB/Ethernet/Wireless)
If you need further assistance, just let me know.
    Have a nice day!

  • HP DeskJet 1050 ALL-IN-ONE J410 series Printer Scanner stopped working suddenly

About a month back Scanner in my printer-scanner (DeskJet 1050 All-In-One J410 series) stopped working with a message on screen " HP Deskjet 1050 J410 series was not found". But the Printer was working fine. I have so far taken following steps with results against each -
    a) HP Print & Scan doctor (HPPSdr.exe) showed HP Twain Scan faulty.
    b) On advice from HP helpline, tried HP Deskjet Full Feature Software & Drivers (DJ1050_J410_1313.exe). It required uninstalling before installing. But uninstalling failed to happen.
    c) Finally, with HP Printer Install Wizard (hppiw.exe) help it showed that Full Feature HP Software & Drivers is now installed. For its functionality, it called for its testing on 'print test page' and 'test scan'. After this, printer shows printing jobs in queue but will not print. At present it is limited to photocopying only without printing & scanning.
    d) I am caught in a loop, because at the end of hppiw.exe message is '...if tests are not successful, HP recommends using HPPSdr.exe to diagnose and fix any problem' i.e. back to point (a) above.
Any solution to the above problem?

    Hi there @sukuma ,
