Desktop App found in Apple Stores

Question

Appearantly, the app that we all see at the Apple Stores (the App on the desktop that lets you launch things...and no, NOT the DOCK) is proprietary. However, I found this link which offers a simliar look and feel.

Hi Aaron!
Are you referring to the built-in Application Switcher?
Handy for switching Apps without using the mouse/cursor.
While you have more than one application running, hold down on the Command(Apple) key, then touch the Tab key.
You should get a big Dock-like window open on the screen, that lets you change apps with the Tab key, or the cursor.
Keep hitting the Tab key while holding down the Option key.
Whichever icon is highlighted, is the App the Finder will bring forward when you release the Option key.
You can also use the left & right arrow keys to advance to the next application.
Hit Q to quit or H to Hide while tabbing:
Quit any currently running app by cycling to it, then pressing the letter “q” (don’t let go of the Command key; keep holding it while you press the letter “q”). Still holding the Command key, press “h” to hide the highlighted app.
