[Desktop][Friend Feed] Ability to "Like" and comment on what others are listening too

Whenever I am on Spotify, I always see what my friends are listening to on the feed in the right column. Sometimes I'm like "I just started listening to that band too!" or "You love that band? Me too! They're having a show soon and we should go!" I get excited that I can relate to what my friends are listening to and I want to let them know that I dig what they like. In those situations I would love to be able to "Like" or thumbs their music quickly from the side column feed and even comment on it. It would also be cool to "like" people's playlists on their profiles. I think a feature like this would be simple to include and offer a lot more connectivity in the way people listen to music on Spotify. After all, music insn't always an individual experience. It's meant to bring people together. A feature like this would make listening to music a communal experience that I believe would make music more pleasurable and exciting for everyone. If people are excited about the music they and their friends are listening too, they will want to listen to more of it, increasing Spotify subscribers.

I see in the newsfeed that my friends are listening to tracks I like or tracks I am curious about. I can click the link to hear the track, but I don't see a way to "like" what they are listening to, ask them about or comment on what they are listening to. I would love to have that feature available. If I am missing it, somebody letl me know. Chris

How to have like and comment option for Asset Library video in SharePoint2013?

Make sure to activate "Site feed" in site feature.

Transfer likes and comments from Wordpress site to Muse site

I have this wordpress site with some likes and comments. I am now working on a Muse site and I would like that all the comments and likes to transfer to the new site. Is this possible?

Facebook likes and facebook comments are associated with a particular URL.
If your new muse-designed page ends up with the same URL as your old page(i.e. www.foo.com/awesomepage.html) then the likes & comments should show up just fine.
If your new muse-designed page has a different URL, you could edit the facebook like/comment code to refer to the old URL, and the comments/likes should be shared.
I think this will only work if the old URL is still reachable(i.e. facebook is going to ping that URL, and if there's nothing there I think it complains)

Why is the IPhone creating additional "calendars"? I only asked for one to be set-up. I don't understand, I have to go into the calendar settings daily and uncheck these un-asked for calendars. Mine is doing the same thing. I deleted the whole account from the mail settings and it got rid of most of the extra calendars. But there are still 2 gibberish ones left.

[Friend Feed] Ability to create & choose lists of people / artists

I would really like to see some improvements on the mini feed. Maybe allow users to make "lists" to organize who's listening to what. One list could be for bands, or could go even more specific - rock bands, indie bands, boy bands, singer/song writer, top 100 etc. Then there could be lists for personal friends - high school friends, college friends, co-workers, etc. I know I would like this type of organization, that way I can set which group of people I want to see the feed from that day. I find that my mini feed is always showing the same people even though I follow way more.

I agree! I am interested in activity from all of my followed friends, but some more so than others. It would be great to have a favourites list so I can make sure I don't miss activity from those particular friends. I would like to be able to switch between different lists too, so I could change between viewing activity from my favourites and viewing activity from any friends who were online most recently. When I click on Activity, I can only see four posts relating to one friend, and two posts from two artists. This is not very helpful; I am not really sure how to view more activity from other friends and artists without actually visiting each profile individually. I'm also really unclear about how to interact with people on Spotify. I have found the "sharing" music option, but is that the only way of interacting?

HT204053 Is there a limit to the number of devices I can have on one account. I have all two of my kids ipods, plus, mine, an ipad, and my iphone, and need to add one more. I do this so that I have control over and can see what they are downloading.

Well the part about putting songs in the "iTUnes Music" folder I only brought up because it seemed you liked things very organized. You could use iTunes to so all the organizeing. Plus once you add something to the iTUnes library, if you change ANYTHING about it in windows explorer, like its name, change the name of the folder its in or move it to another folder, iTUnes "Looses Track" of it. Its not like other programs that "Watch" files and folders for changes outside its "iTUnes Music" folder
But to have iTUnes auto search, you have to delete a hidden pref file. After doing this, when you open iTUnes again it will throw up a setup wizard, just like its the first time ever installing it. Its in this wizard where you get your ONLY chance to have iTUnes auto search and add files from the system. Just goto the link below and follow Scott P's steps

Hey Edgar, how exactly did you do the updates? Are you running iTunes 11.2.2? And you iPod 5 is still running iOS 6.1.2 as your tag shows? or are you running iOS 7.1.1? More info would be helpful. Ihave 2 pending charges from apple iTunes in my checking account scheduled to pay out on 12/24. One for 19.99 and and one for 17.99. How can I find out what I'm being charged for. I called apple and they referred me to a web site which still doesn't give me a clue for how to get this information and know what these charges are for. Can anyone help me find out and explain how to do it? I don't get why there just isn't somewhere I can call and find out.

How can I sort by likes or comments in shared iCloud albums?

Is this possible? If I share an iCloud album, the likes and comments that those I share it with appear in Aperture which is fantastic. However, there's no way to sort or filter the album in Aperture to show me just the photos that have likes or comments. This would be extremely helpful. Is there something I'm missing that would allow me to do this?
It would also be MUCH better if the edits I made to a photo were reflected in both the iCloud album and the Aperture Library rather than just the Aperture Library. At the moment though I have to go to the Library to make adjustments to an image and then I have to re-share it to the iCloud album if I want those changes to be reflected there.

In the range from useful professional (reliable, repeatable, efficient) to amusing toy, the Photo Stream is closer to the toy end. It's cool, it's fun, it can be useful -- but it is not and (imho) cannot be made to be a professional tool, which seems to be your goal.
There are (many) other tools for client interaction. I use EditDrop, and like it. (I have no affiliation with APhotoFolio other than being a customer.)
Fwiw, none of them (that I know) provide live updates to pictures. The prevailing paradigm is that the editing is done "off-line", and the results are posted on-line. The results can be removed, but are not, in practice, changed. Instead, a new image is published as a variant of the one-that-got-edited. This makes sense to me -- you don't want the comments to the first published version of an Image attached to the edited second version.
In this regard, they all work like Photo Stream.

I am using the iPhone 6 updated to current version, and I cannot send photos to my Family via iCloud. When I first started the account 30 min. Ago I was able to send photos. Then for some reason I was not able to send or comment photos, what's wrong?

1. You did not get an error message telling you that your iPhoto library was getting full. You got a message telling you that your HD was getting full, right?
OS X needs about 10 gigs of hard drive space for normal OS operations - things like virtual memory, temporary files and so on.
Without this space your Mac will slow down as the OS hunts for space on the disk, files will be fragmented, also slowing things down, apps will crash and the risk of data corruption - that is damage to your files, photos, music - increases exponentially.
Your first priority is to make more space on that HD. Nothing else can be done until you do.
Purchase an external HD and move your Photos and Music to it. Both iPhoto and iTunes can run perfectly well with the Library on an external disk.
Your Library has been damaged from being run on an overfull disk.
How much free space on it now?

Since the last update, you have open your websites and they used to show a pic or website marker at the beginning of each website so you knew what it was, not its just a blank letter and its says something other than the website being viewed, annoying. So

I didn't want to step on your toes. No need to get personal.
Subpanels make some additional code necessary that hasn't got to do anything with the actual program. And I AM using subIVs as I wrote in my first post, which is exactly the root of the problem.
Nevertheless I now solved it in a way that comes close to what I wanted. I don't know if some of you meant your suggestions to be understood that way (at least I didn't ). The subVIs will now "insert" themselves (via invoke node) into a subpanel on the main vi, which they are given a reference of at call. This adds minimal aditional code, especially on the main VI which I want to keep as clean as possible. By clustering the panel reference into the parameters the subVIs are already given (not used in the example I attached below), there isn't even a change on the terminals of the subVIs.
I got to check now if this works well with event structures within the subVIs or if it can create the same problems like multiple event structures within a single VI.
So no global variables anymore and no writing values by property node. I don't know if this just wasn't possible in previous Labview versions I had a try at that (I guess it was 8.6 and/or 2009) or I just didn't come up with the idea back then.

Same problem, 3.6.8 and previous recent versions. I never thought to try another browser but I just pasted into IE and it worked fine. I copied from Firefox to IE and it worked as well. It's just when you paste into Firefox that you get the weird line breaks.

Bad idea. There are no supported iPhone carriers in Iceland, thus some features may or may not work. Further, there will be no warranty or support for a US purchased iPhone in Iceland...your friend will be on their own. If you still want to go down this road, make sure you purchase an officially unlocked iPhone(GSM model) directly from Apple.
