Desktop skype signs out when I open onedrive.live....

Hello.
I have a strange issue with my desktop skype client.
When I signed in on my desktop client and open onedrive in me IE or Firefox, then my desktop skype signs out.
Also I noticed that when I signed in on my desktop client and on my windows phone, /showplaces shows two endpoints - desktop and phone, but then if I open onedrive in my browser, then /showplaces shows only one endpoint - desktop.
It seems that opening onedrive in a browser signs me out from one of endpoints.
My skype account is linked to live id. I use skype account on my desktop skype and live id on phone and browser. Desktop skype version is 6.21.0.104.
Best regards, Dmitry

Does skype log off when you put your mac to sleep by closing the lid.
    Cheers

It takes you offline, but doesn't log you out (afaict). A few seconds after you open the lid, you're back online.

my desktop is not working when i open it all it does is show the color weal and it never gos away on my mac book pro how do i fix it?

It means, tentatively, that system files are missing or damaged and you will have to reinstall Snow Leopard. See the following:
Reinstall OS X without erasing the drive
    Do the following:
    1. Repair the Hard Drive and Permissions
Boot from your Snow Leopard Installer disc. After the installer loads select your language and click on the Continue button. When the menu bar appears select Disk Utility from the Utilities menu. After DU loads select your hard drive entry (mfgr.'s ID and drive size) from the the left side list.  In the DU status area you will see an entry for the S.M.A.R.T. status of the hard drive.  If it does not say "Verified" then the hard drive is failing or failed. (SMART status is not reported on external Firewire or USB drives.) If the drive is "Verified" then select your OS X volume from the list on the left (sub-entry below the drive entry,) click on the First Aid tab, then click on the Repair Disk button. If DU reports any errors that have been fixed, then re-run Repair Disk until no errors are reported. If no errors are reported click on the Repair Permissions button. Wait until the operation completes, then quit DU and return to the installer.
If DU reports errors it cannot fix, then you will need Disk Warrior and/or Tech Tool Pro to repair the drive. If you don't have either of them or if neither of them can fix the drive, then you will need to reformat the drive and reinstall OS X.
    2. Reinstall Snow Leopard
If the drive is OK then quit DU and return to the installer.  Proceed with reinstalling OS X.  Note that the Snow Leopard installer will not erase your drive or disturb your files.  After installing a fresh copy of OS X the installer will move your Home folder, third-party applications, support items, and network preferences into the newly installed system.
Download and install the Combo Updater for the version you prefer from support.apple.com/downloads/.

I bought it 4 days ago so it isn't compromised from any hardware or software issues such as a virus or anything.
Please, if you can think of anything else I can do to solve this issues leave me a comment...

  • Creative Cloud Desktop issue: "you've been signed out" when trying to sign in

    Hi,
Following the resolution guide for this issue on the adobe site, I have deleted the opm.db file from the oobe folder.  But the issue still remains.
    Steps carried out
    Quit the app
    Deleted opm.db file
    launched the app
    signed in
    same error
I have also done a restart after deleting the file.
    I also reinstalled the application.
Is this issue due to the maintenance?  My Colleague has the same issue.
Thanks in advance for your help.

    Hi All,
    Issue:
When you launch the Creative Cloud desktop app, a "You've been signed out" message appears.
    Troubleshoot points of note.
    Mac Mavericks OS
This is happening on two Macs – regardless of user credentials used
This works using the user’s credentials from a PC using the windows Creative Cloud Desktop App
Creative Cloud Desktop successful downloaded one app on the 16/06/2014 to the Mac
    Adobe’s Resolution
    https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/unable-login-creative-cloud-248.html
Also tried renaming another folder – AAMupdater in the Adobe folder, as suggested on an Adobe Forum
Deleted OOBE folder in a second location (location that differs from that in the guide above)
Also used the Creative Cloud Cleaner to tidy up installation files
This issue is still on going and I have submitted a log to Adobe Tech for analysis on User: Daniel above.
If anyone has a solution please let me know.

  • My skype is quitting when i open it in mac os x 10.6.8

My Skpe is quitting when I open it in mac os x 10.6.8
It had been working fine. Today I did a restart of the system, and
now skype quits whenever I open it. I deleted the version that I had,
and installed the latest version of skype and it is still quitting when
I open it. What is my solution?

Right or control click the MacintoshHD icon on your Desktop then click Get Info.
    See: Capacity
Before deleting anymore files, verify the startup disk.
    Open Disk Utility   /Applications/Utilites
Select MacintoshHD in the panel on the left then select the First Aid tab.
Click: Verify Disk  (not Verify Disk Permissions).
If the startup disk needs repairing, follow the instructions for Using Disk Utility to verify or repair disks.
If the startup disk is ok, try installing the Mac OS X 10.5.8 Combo Update.
that I can't access my app store to set it up.
Just so you are aware, you use iTunes to sync, restore, and backup an iPhone, not the App Store for Mac OS X.

  • Creative Cloud Signing Out When I Sign In??

When I opend the creative cloud app on my desktop, it prompts me to sign into my creative cloud account. I'll put in my username and password and it will then tell me that I've been signed out. I've tried downloading the Creative Cloud app again and that did nothing. I'm confused and I haven't been able to find anything on the forums. I will admit though that it's been a busy day at the office and I haven't been able to do too much searching on the matter. If anyone has any ideas, please help.

    Hi Pkloveless,
Please try these steps and let us know if it works.
Rename OOBE Folder to OOBE.old from this location.
    C:\Users\(Your Username)\AppData\Local\Adobe
Rename SLStore and SLCache to .old from this location
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Adobe
Once done please try launching the applications and it will ask you to accept the license agreement and Sign in option again.
    http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/kb/unable-login-creative-cloud-248.html may also work.

how and when will my account in my app tab will be signed in/out? will it will be automatic when i open or close firefox?

  • Windows 8.1 hangs on signing out when updates need installed

I'm hoping somebody can offer a viable solution here because I'm tearing my hair out.  I have 30 computers all randomly doing this...once in a while a standard user will log out and the system will sit for hours showing "signing out".
Once I'm made aware of it I'll hold the power button to shut it down, and when I turn it back on it starts installing updates.  Some of the fixes I've tried:
    1. Ran a checkdisk
    2. Ran a SFC /scannow
    3.  Tried the Selective Startup/clean boot troubleshooting method, however since this happens during updates, and since the updates complete after the hard reboot troubleshooting is much more difficult.
    4.  Did a full refresh of Windows 8.1
None of these fixes helped. I did notice that after these problems occur MSCONFIG shows that the system is in "selective startup mode" even though I've manually set them to normal startup.

I haven't had to go through the following sequence myself, but have read from others that it performs a thorough cleanup of the servicing database:
    net stop wuauserv
    cd %systemroot%\SoftwareDistribution
    ren Download Download.old
    net start wuauserv
    net stop bits
    net start bits
    net stop cryptsvc
    cd %systemroot%\system32
    ren catroot2 catroot2old
    net start cryptsvc
    sfc /scannow
    DISM /Online /Get-Packages /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth
    sfc /scannow
The key to this sequence appears to be the local clearing of data and the /Get-Packages switch refreshing everything from Microsoft's online source.
Again, I can't personally vouch for the efficacy of the above command set, but it might be something to try if you come up short.
