Desktop Software for BB Curve 8520

I have suddenly been unable to Close BB Desktop SW 6.1 with my BB Curve 8520 Sw ver 5. I think there is something going on with security as I cannot load pages on Windows Internet Explorer either once this has happened. I have redownloaded the Desktop SW several times now.
Everything looks good until I try to configure the sync for calendars ets then it puts up a window saying it is configuring but never starts the process and I have yo close using Task Manager or re-boot.
Any suggestions?

1- Uninstall totally the Blackberry Desktop Manager from your PC.
2- Restart the pc
3- Install the Blackberry Desktop Manager from this link, and let me know

Cannot download Desktop Software for my BB Bold 9780 (while for older versions I can).

Dear respected community members, I have and still love my old BB Bold 9780, but alas do not have a desktop software for it, while for an older one the Curve 8520, I could completely download. No my laptop has got the software and I installed the drivers for it but the phone is not being seen and when I troubleshoot it,,, the results ay that the phone does not have the software drivers. I installed desktop manager 6.1.0 so I need 6.1.0 drivers for my phone which I will then integrate into my system. please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently switched from a palm treo to blackberry but didn't anticipate syncing issues with my mac until now. The current BB desktop software seems only compatible with MAC OS 10.5, so I'm in a difficult position.

Using Desktop Software for Mac with an 8703e - Can it be done?

I downloaded the new BB desktop software for Mac but it doesn't seem to work with my 8703e device. And since I had to erase the PocketMac software to install the new BB software, I now have no way to synch my Mac and BB. Can anyone shed any light on this?

You might check out the FileBrowser app on iTunes. I haven't used it, but it sounds like what you're after. When you say you can't use the Sierra iG2 with your iPad, I'm assuming you mean you can't plug it into the iPad. If it's plugged into a laptop and offering a WiFi hotspot, the iPad should be good with that. I use the Apple Camera Connection Kit to carry extra movies on an SD card. It uploads only to the Photos app, so no books, etc.

Blackberry Desktop Software for Mac won't open

I've downloaded the Blackberry Desktop Software for Mac to begin synching my new Torch but when I try to launch the software, I get the following message.
"The document “BlackBerry Desktop Software.mpkg” could not be opened. TextEdit cannot open files in the “Installer package” format."
Has anyone encountered this and had any luck getting it to open?
Any advice appreciated -- anxious to update my contacts and fully use my new phone!

Have you been able to try using a different USB port or to retry connecting after reinserting the BlackBerry battery? If so, try reinstalling the Desktop Software and retrying the connection.

Desktop Software for MAC allows only two way sync

I want help with the Blackberry desktop software for MAc. I am able to synce my phone, however there is no way in which I can do a one-way sync - replacing all the data on the mac with the data of the phone...
please let me kniw if there is any way of doing that

Isn't it simply because of the known problem with iCloud sync enabled?
This operation makes the address book and calendar(s) invisible to BBDM as the data files are "removed" from the Mac and put "in the cloud"...
Several posts are documenting the problem and suggest some alternatives or work around (by disabling iCloud).
Look on the forum for additional details.

All data is in my handheld. I wish I could just "replace" (not merge/sync) outlook contact with all contact in the handheld but seems there is no option to do that. Blackberry Bold 9900 would not sync with Desktop Software for MAC

When connecting my Bold 9900 to my MAC the Desktop Software opens correctly, phone is recognised and connected but the SYNC option is not available. I cannot click the Green sync button nor click the relevant sync button under the device tab.
All answers would be much appreciated

Desktop Software for OS X 10.5.8

Have recently gotten a 9810, but the Mac software on your site requires my 10.5.8 Mac to be 10.6 or higher.
Are there any archived versions of the Desktop Software for an older Mac system?

Why do you need to "sync"? Just plug the device into the usb port of your mac. An icon of the drive will show up on the desktop. Open the SD card from the finder on your mac and highlight and drag what ever files you want.

Desktop Software for PC - Windows 7 Bluetooth Connection

Hi All,
Here's what I've got hardware wise Software all updated on all below..
BlackBerry 9900
Desktop PC with no Bluetooth built in
USB Bluetooth and Drivers
When installing the Bluetooth USB and it's drivers I don't get any option to allow Bluetooth connections the box is grayed out. In turn I can't sync the phone or do anything. I think this is more of a Windows Driver problem but just wondering if anyone else is having the same trouble and found a fix
