Just purchase Retina Display MacBook Pro...
16 gig ram, 1TB ssd drive.
Wired Apple keyboard w/ num pad.
Apple wired mouse.
My setup is as follows:
USB powered hub. (4 USB's)
Items attached to hub = Sound module, Keyboard, Wacom tablet, Apple Keyboard w/num pad.
Mouse attached to keyboard USB.
Attached to MacBook Pro:
Thunderbolt to Ethernet adapter.
Apple power supply.
USB to the above USB hub.
HDMI to external HP monitor.
PROBLEM: Macbook in clamshell mode or open with external monitor.
When using the wired mouse, every so often the curser moves on its own. Most of the time to the bottom of the left side of the external monitor. Sometimes it jumps up and down.
I called Apple techs and they had me reset several things (can't remember exactly, resetting ram etc...).
Didn't work.
The had me plug mouse directly to my Macbook. (External monitor still attached).
Didn't work.
They me had attach an old USB mouse I had from an old PC.
THAT WORKED.
Wacom tablet works.
The sent me a new wired mouse.
When I received it, the same problem occurred.
Then I tested the mouse on the Macbook without the external display. Just the Macbook and USB Apple wired mouse. The problem seems to have stopped.
Can anyone help on this so that I could use me external monitor with the Apple mouse?

Why would you want to do this?
Surely its easier to set up your OS to make PPP calls using the modem and then use socket communications.

Make sure your not connecting it to more than one PC. A new iPOd is set to "Auto Update" by default. With this setting all you do is plug the iPOd into the PC and iTUnes automaticly opens, loads all the songs it has listed in iTunes to the iPod, and after its done, ejects the iPOd.
If you connect it to another PC tho with iTUnes on it you usually get a promtp that in short says "iPOd library linked to another PC, do you want to link to this one" if you click yes, it wipes the iPOd clean and loads only whats on that PC.

Xperia Z2 Start-up Problem. I'm desperate - need help!

My phone randomly shut down today with full power on, just lying on my table. I had troubles turning it on, did the restart-thingy and finally i got some power in it. The problem is, that after it says ''Sony'' Then ''Xperia'' The purple/blue animated background comes on (as it always does when its starting up) but its stucked in that animation. Have tried literally ANYTHING i could come up with, and what I'v read on the internet.
I couldn't find anything specific about the problem, since I don't know if I'm the only one ever tried so. I'v been waiting for an hour, the animation is still just there, aint turning on completly, waited 5 hours, tried again - same story. holded the powerbutton + volume button etc. nothing works.
I can turn the phone ''off'' when the animation is on, and when i start it again it's still stucked in the purple animation.
Anyone got any suggestion for this?
My thought is, that its some kind of software bug or so.

Switch off your phone and unplug from Pc (Hold volume up and power for around 10 seconds)
Start PC Companion and select Support zone then Update my phone/tablet then in Blue Repair my phone/tablet and follow the onscreen instructions - When prompted connect your phone still switched off holding volume down or back button - This should start the repair or reformat process
If you are using Windows 8/8.1 or a 64bit operating system then adjust the settings for PC Companion and run in compatibility mode and chose Windows 7 or XP

Poor student researcher in desperate need help hooking up an Adam 4017 and 4018m to windows 7 computer!

Thought I was getting a great deal. Like the loggers. Have them hooked up but I can not link to any program. Grant it I am a novice when it comes to these things. Im a microbiologist looking for bacteria that makes electric not a programmer.
I need the most cost effective way to record data off of these loggers. Im supposesd to begin a project on friday. Dasylab? Anything. If I can just collect the numbers in a folder I can process.

ok, so here is the scoop:
I have the latest version of adobe -version 8 - and I want to convert some documents (whethere ms word, notepad, word pad, simply accounting invoices) into adobe, but this error message has come up:
"Adobe Reader could not open "_____.pdf" because it is either not a supported file type or because the file has been damaged (for exaample, it was ent as an email attachment and it wasn't decoded correctly."
Ok, so first of all it was NOT sent as an email attachment, but it may not be a supported file? Then what are the supported files?
I reallyt need to use adobe, but I can't open ANYTHING up in it because of this message that keeps on coming up.
P.S. I called tech support, they advised re-installing - did that, but still have the problem.
Any help would be soooooo much appreciated! THanks in advance!!!!!!!!

It is cross-platform and is so successful it has been adopted as the official way of providing web documents by the US government and many others.
The pdf standard, which is based on another Adobe product, PostScript, is an open standard and other programs use it for output, including Microsoft Word. IMO the best free pdf generator out there is PrimoPDF.

Desperatly need help retrieving lost files

Recently my Macbook Pro was getting stuck during the start up routine
(the spinning icon would just continue to spin on endlessly) foolishly perhaps I reloaded the OS and it once again starts up correctly.
My problem is now all my photos, music, and personal documents are no where to be found, the amount of free space on the hard drive suggests they are still on the computer somewhere howevere I don't know where to locate them.
Please help with any information about how to retrive my documents, it would be greatly appreciated...and yes I did have everything backed up with TM but everything on TM is missing also.

If you chose the Erase & Install method of installation, you will need to use a data recovery utility application such as one of these:

All three come in demo versions that will show you what the full version could recover before you are asked to buy it. Check before using any of them to make sure the latest version is Leopard-compatible; I haven't checked these links lately. You will have to have a second hard drive on which to save anything that is recovered.

hi,
i recently dropped my i-pod down the stairs :s and i went to listen to some somgs and it would show them as playing but nothing would happen, then it would randomly fast foward songs hmm... so i reset it and then everything was deleted. i just went to reload all my songs onto my i-pod and nothing happens with the exception of strange clicking and beeping noises... the computer recognises hardware/ USB in use but my i tunes doesn't and i think recognizes it as a CD. I'm desperate to make it go back to normal and don't know what to do... it also has this weird sign come up sometimes with a file with exclamation mark.

Aiya, do not put too much hope, but try to put your iPod in disk mode, connect it with your computer, go to my computer, right click your iPod and do a format (But make sure do not choose quick format). If it can complete the process than reset your iPod and open the iPod updater and click Restore.

Anyone has 'Yourlink'?? Nothing works here with me, really desperate, need HELP, please!

Hi there, I have wireless internet through 'Yourlink.ca'. The cable comes from the roof, goes through a modem and gets plugged into my computer.
I tried everything with my Linksys router, every connection option, a really nice and IT guy helped me for a few days, I tried a crossover cable, nothing works.
The connection from computer to router is fine, but something does not line up from modem to router . . . When I've had everything installed and connected I've had to give in the DNS addresses I have from yourlink by hand to have some and those ones were the only numbers displayed on the 'Status' page.
I really dont know what to do anymore, please can anybody help me?? Yourlink is really not very helpful in that matter, even so they should know what works best with their connections/modems to routers, you get only some very plain answers on the first help level.
There should be an easy explanation to everything, I am starting to loose my mind!

My cable comes directly from the roof where the little dish is installed and before it comes into the room it goes through the modem, so it hangs all together. The modem is on the wall of our sunroom and from there the cable comes into my computer room through the wall.

Desperate needing help with HP Pavilion DV7-1450us HDMI audio output

I have tried a lot of different things to get audio output to my tv with no luck. I get video output fine. I notice when right-clicking the speaker on my taskbar there is no option to enable HDMI audio output any help is greatly appreciated as we are waiting to watch a movie <_< thanks.

Try using Recovery Manager to reinstall your AMD Graphics Driver package as this will also reinstall the AMD HDMI Audio driver- the procedure for using recovery manager to reinstall Software and Drivers is detailed in the relevant document on the link below.
Recovery Manager - Windows 8.

Recovery Manager - Windows Vista
After the reinstallation has completed, restart the notebook.

Desperatly need Help with itunes and ipod argument!!1

Itunes will work, slowly, until i plug pod in and then it sync's for about 10 secs and then every program running freezes. Itunes refuses to respond, cant close or open additional applications, can move external windows but they leave a ghost accross the screen.
i have done all the 5 R's to Pod, reinstalled itunes 3 times and run a virus scan twice - im at witts end, i hope someone can help. I have over 2000 songs on itunes and i cant do anything with them or my pod.

Shuffles are only designed to sync with one PC. Connect it to your PC and restore it to factory settings. Eject it. When your wife connects it to her PC, it should get recognized.

I recently purchased an iPod nano and have been enjoying. However, the other day when I went to update it with some songs I had bought, iTunes said that my iPod was updated, but the songs werent on it. I tried the "5 r's" searched the database, and made sure it was on automatic. Whats wrong?

"ASplus" is a movieclip with a white + on it, showing off that something needs to be showed.
"ASmin" is a movieclip with a white - on it, showing off that something needs to be closed.
What this does is, I have a button "ASknop" (a movieclip) positioned with alpha = 0 over another movieclip "ASplus"
If I click on the "ASknop" another movieclip appears "ASbalk" which fades in and scales. Another thing that happens is that some text appears on top of it "ASwerkjes"
If this is completely finished, another button takes over "ASknop2" (this movieclip is visible = false) that one then goes on top of "ASknop" through ASknop2.visible = true
and the movieclip "ASplus" changes into a movieclip called "ASmin"
"ASknop2" makes that movieclip "ASbalk" that faded in and scaled, do the exact opposite. It now fades out and scales back down, also that "ASwerkjes" text dissapears.
My problem now is, making that sort of loop. I have to be able to keep clicking it, making the movieclip scale and fade in and afterwards scale down and fade out again.

From your description it sounds like you want a new movieClip to appear when the user clicks on a particular movieClip. Then you want this new movieClip to react to a user click and show another movieClip, or possibly the first movieClip, all at the same position on the stage. If this description is even close to what you want to achieve, then it may be simpler to just have one movieClip that the user clicks on.
That one movieClip shows frame 1, for example, on the click event, the movieClip either plays, or uses a tween to hide one object in the movieClip and display a different object. This will simplify the event heirarchy since the user is always clicking on the same movieClip. One the click you are simply "playing" the clip to show different content. This is sort of the way that button objects work, only with more options.

I desperatly Need Help!! Synching Problem!! ASAP

I have had my ipod touch for a year now and everything has been fine but I just updated it and everything was still ok. But suddenly when i wanted to sync it it appeared " The Ipod...cannot be synced. The required file cannot be found."
and i uninstalled itunes and re-downloaded it again and everything was still there and i still have the same problem.
please help me.. (:

try to reset the ipod by holding the sleep and home button for at least 10 sec. until the Apple logo comes up, ignore the "slide to turn off" screen. If this does not help, restore it "as new ipod" . Restoring: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1414
