Desperately need help for Zen mi
Hi all,
Due to some problem my zen micro shows only recovery mode when rebooted. The thing is that when i switched on the player after two to three days of rest It boots in recovery mode. I tried all the options in recovery mode and it does not get out from it. I tired to upgrade the firmware and i suceeded once. I upgraded it to versio 2. from .. After when i rebooted it it is recognized by the system and installs it as a mtp device. But my player still showing only the recovery mode. So i tried again to install the firmware upgrade software so that i can use it again. But the firmware update software is not recognizing the player. I had tried installing driver cd and also the driver download from the net. No suceess. Please please somebody help me. My mom is going to beat me up if she heard about this.

I had EXACTLY the same problem.... i had to send the zen xtra back... never found out the exact problem, but in my opinion there was a problem with the usb connection on the unit.
I lost pretty much 50gigs worth of music and files
The player would connect but browsing took forever and transfers always timed out

Help urgently needed, I have installed Logic Pro 9, since then my Final Cut Pro X keep freezing. Anyone what is wrong and how to solve it? I desperately need help on this. Apple support says I have to pay £85 for to help me. Thanks

Desperately needs help burning DVD from iPhoto
I am using iPhoto 6.0.6. I desperately need help burning a DVD of a slide show that I created for my daughter's wedding.
I put several songs together by opening them and then combining them using QuickTime Pro. I imported the audio into iTunes and created a slide show using iPhoto. The slide show is perfect! The slides are finally in sink with the music just as I want them! But I don't know how to burn the slide show as a DVD.
I tried exporting the video from iPhoto to my computer, but at the end of the export, I get this message: please note that the music included in the slideshow can only be played on authorized machines. And when I try to play the video (after the export), most of the music on the video cannot be heard. When I try to authorize my machine, I am told that it's already authorized.
If someone would send detailed instructions on how to proceed, I would greatly appreciate it.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto (iPhoto.Library for iPhoto 5 and earlier) database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger or later), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 6 and 7 libraries and Tiger and Leopard. Just put the application in the Dock and click on it whenever you want to backup the dB file. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.
Note: There's now an Automator backup application for iPhoto 5 that will work with Tiger or Leopard. -
I deleted aperture and now my sistem is acting crazy.The dock disappeared and almost all icons are gone except for their names.I have an important project for tomorrow and I desperately need help fixing it.Can anyone help me please?
Well it all started with Aperture 3 trying to import some photos from my iphone.It took ages to import those photos and like I was in a hurry to finish my work in Illustrator so I tryied to force quit on A3 and it didn´t, so I shut down the computer and started over.it was all ok but I uninstalled the A3 and the I realized the icons were back to original form and a few fonts changed.so I Installed the trial version of A3.I did a restart of the system and then there was.aperture lauching but no dock and a 80% of the icons disappeared, but the names of the files and folder remained.and I cand acces the apps from the apple sign on the left corner.I tried also restarting a few time but it´s always the same.I am a recent user of a mac , and please excuse my bad english.If this is in any way useful please help me!

I cannot send. I have been at this for hours and hours and hours. Here are the details.
my mail server however is s1.sistercompany.net
I can receive email just fine. I can also send mail just find having set this up on my iphone and also in thunderbird (which i hate hate hate hate hate hate hate, which is why I am desperate to set up mail)
The settings in thunderbird are as follows:
Servername: s1.sistercompany.net
port: 465
Authentication method: normal password
Connection Security: SSL/TLS
However, I just can't get this to work in Mail. When I write an email and hit send I get a popup that says:
Cannot send message using the server s1.sistercompany.net
The certifcate for this server is invalid.
Now, my tech guy says yeah the certifacte is invalid because you are going through sistercompany server, there should be some way to just accept the certifcate anyway (but he has never used mail before).
So I have serached around and come up with this: http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11706
Which tells me to use the verify certificate dialogue, which I would do except there is no verify certificate dialog. Any thoughts?

I really need help to solve my problems. I just bought nokia 5800 XM last week. I already installed the CD software in my windows XP, but it seems that PC cannot recognize the USB cables. I have plug in an unplugged... At firstime it detects my nokia 5800 XM, but when I open PC suite or OVI, it doesn't connect the USB cables into PC. I already install and uninstall The OVI suite but it is still the same, when I try it in OVI suite to detect my phones, it doesn't react.... I also have download from Nokia website to install manually Nokia USB cable driver for my cable type CA-101... it seems nothing works here... tell me what should I do? I don't think that the USB cable I bought is fake, it has original guarantee..... please desperately need help! Anybody?When you plug the phone into the computer, ON THE PHONE it should ask you which mode to connect in, and you should select "PC Suite" mode. Does this happen?

Warning! This procedure will destroy all data on your Hard Disk Drive. Be sure you have an up-to-date, tested backup of at least your Users folder and any third party applications you do not want to re-install before attempting this procedure.
• With computer shut down insert install disk in optical drive.
• Hit Power button and immediately after chime hold down the "C" key.
• Select language
• Go to the Utilities menu (Tiger) Installer menu (Panther & earlier) and launch Disk Utility.
• Select your HDD (manufacturer ID) in left side bar.
• Select Partition tab in main panel. (You are about to create a single partition volume.)
• _Where available_ +Click on Options button+
+• Select Apple Partition Map (PPC Macs) or GUID Partition Table (Intel Macs)+
+• Click OK+
• Select number of partitions in pull-down menu above Volume diagram.
(Note 1: One partition is normally preferable for an internal HDD.)
• Type in name in Name field (usually Macintosh HD)
• Select Volume Format as Mac OS Extended (Journaled)
• Click Partition button at bottom of panel.
• Select Erase tab
• Select the sub-volume (indented) under Manufacturer ID (usually Macintosh HD).
• Check to be sure your Volume Name and Volume Format are correct.
• Click Erase button
• Quit Disk Utility.

I have tried everything I know to retrieve the iPhoto Library app. I detest this new Photo app, which obviously wasn't designed with photographers in mind. I desperately need help in retrieving the old app and have not been able to do it so far. I have gone to my app folder and tried to update my iPhoto Library. I have gone to my trash and brought it over to my desktop and still cannot use it. Please help!
Try this fix discovered by User photosb189:
From Finder, hold down the option key on your keyboard and click on the Go menu at the top of the screen
Select Library from the drop down menu
Then navigate to Application Support > iLifeAssetManagement > assets
Right click on the 'sub' folder and choose Compress
Drag the resulting zip file to your Desktop (as a backup)
Go to your System Preferences and choose iCloud
Turn OFF the iCloud Photos option
Go back to Library > Application Support and DELETE the iLifeAssetManagement folder
Now, in System Preferences, turn the iCloud Photos option ON
iPhoto should now be able to launch. Give it enough time to re-download your Photo Stream content. if you are missing any of your My Photo Stream photos (more than 30 days old), unzip the sub folder on your desktop and drag that into iPhoto. -

Now in one column of my report named 'Cash in Bank', I need to get all postings from cash
accounts with GL code ending in '0'. Now, I know that I can get the amounts in BSIS/BSAS
but how do I link it with the proper bank and account?
For example:

hi, Someone help me to import oracle 10G dump into 9i database. I'm studying oracle . Im using oracle 10G developer suite(downloaded from oracle) and oracle 9i database. I saw some threads tat we can't import the higher version dumps into lower version database. But i'm badly need help for importing the dump...

someone please tell me the site to download oracle 9i Developer suite as i can't find it in oracle site...I didnt testet it to import a dump out of a 10g instance into a 9i instance if this export has been done using a 10g environment.
But it is possible to perform an export with a 9i environment against a 10g instance.
I am just testing this with a 9.2.0.8 environment against a 10.2.0.4.0 instance and is working so far.
The system raises an EXP-00008 / ORA-37002 error after exporting the data segments (exporting post-schema procedural objects and actions).
I am not sure if it is possible to perform an import to a 9i instance with this dump but maybe worth to give it a try.
It should potentially be possible to export at least 9i compatible objects/segments with this approach.
However, I have my doubts if this stunt is supported by oracle ...

That's simple.
All you have to do is:
From MENU goto SETTINGS, When there scroll down and select 'Restore Factory Setting'.
There are two options in there:
"Restore Settings only"
and
"Restore all"
Select "Restore All"
When done the phone will delete every thing on the Phone memory(C:\)(contacts,picture,messages etc)
and also restore phone to its original settings and will restart.
This proceedure is mostly common on S40 phone.

After running FF 8 installer, it pops-out an "extracting" loading screen and closes.
