    What is the latest, best MTS file conversion software. Is there a good free one?
    I'm shooting 1440x1080 30p. iSkyoft only lets you convert to 1080x720, which I have to render on the timeline.
    Is there a converter with the higher hd options?

    No good free ones unless MPEG StreamClip doesn't work.
    ClipWrap2 is pretty good for about $50.00.
    there is a demo if you google it.

  • Seeking file upload help.

    Hi,
    This has been frustrating me severely of late.  I have two pages that visitors of my site shall go to for uploading photos.  The first page is a simple two question form asking them to enter how many photos will they be uploading in a text field as well as a select drop down of recent dates for which their pictures pertain to. Once those questions are answered and a visitor hits submit, the next page contains the total number of browse dialogue boxes for the # of photos that they intend to submit. Keep in mind that each person is meant to upload photos for just one day at a time and their uploads will go to a specific folder for that date.   I've passed the value of $_POST['selct_dates'] to a variable on the second page like $date = $_POST['selct_dates'] and tried appending this value to what has been defined as the top level 'uploads' folder. So the defined pathway is this... define('SOURCE_DIR', 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot\mysite\images\\'.$date.'\\');
    Then to upload the files I should be able to do this...
    $file = ($_FILES['image']['name']);
    if (array_key_exists('upload', $_FILES) {
    define('SOURCE_DIR', 'C:\inetpub\wwwroot\mysite\images\\'.$date.'\\');
              foreach ($file as $number => $file) {
    $success = move_uploaded_file($_FILES['image']['tmp_name'][$number],SOURCE_DIR.$file); } }
    So upon upload, the file(s) would go to SOURCE_DIR.$date while the $file variable may be appended to this pathway,.right?
    there's actually one more foreach loop included in my actual code due to my select form element having been built as a looped array such as
    /*   echo '<option value="' . $option . '"';
    if (in_array($option, $date)) {
      echo " selected";
    echo ">" . ucfirst($option) . "</option>"; */ but that's a bit more complicated....
    So anyway my trouble has been that the SOURCE_DIR is set as it should be when the visitor first goes to the second page.  But after hitting 'upload' photos on the submit button as the final step, the SOURCE_DIR is no longer the pathway when echoing $var = $SOURCE_DIR.$date.  But rather it echos SOURCE_DIR\some_date.  For example when I first navigate initially to the file selection page 2 from the questionaire page 1, I can echo that SOURCE_DIR.$date equals the pathway C:\inetpub\wwwroot\mysite\uploads\06_01\ . However after a visitor hits the submit button the page refreshes and the echo is SOURCE_DIR\06_01\
    Essentially the SOURCE_DIR isn't retaining it's value as a pathway but rather takes on the literal string. Hence the photos are not making it to their desired directory. How can I make the SOURCE_DIR constant remain set all the way through the visitor hitting submit?   Thank you.

    You might find it more helpful to post in a forum which is at least marginally relevant to the question. I don't see any XML content at all in that question.

  • Windows media player / file conversion help

    I've got a real old school version of Windows media player on my other computer which has about 1300 songs on it that i don't even still have all the old cds to. I tried to process those songs onto my ipod and it says they are "protected wma files" is there anything I can buy program wise that can convert those files to something compatible with the ipod and itunes? I heard something about Nero but I've never tried that out. I was just wondering if anyone else had ran into this problem thanks.

  • WMP file conversions help

    How do I converted WMP file to play on my iPod Classic 80G? tahnks for all your help, very appreciated

    You can write the help file in HTML and then use a
    JEditorPane to display it. You need to use the
    setPage(url) method to set the contents of the
    JEditorPane. It works fine though and since you can
    use HTML, you can include screen sots of your program
    as long as they are gif or jpeg.or bmp or png - or anything else that is html supported
    Look at JTextPane (also uses 'setPage("\some.html")' ) inside a JScrollPane. Nice classes to work with.

  • File conversion for imovie? help!

    hello i just got my new mac 3 days ago and i'm already frustrated and losing my mind!
    i plugged in my digital camera hoping to edit some video clips i've been shooting. the pictures load fine in iphoto, and i even watched the video clips with quicktime, but imovie does not recognize the files! thus, i can't load them on there nor edit them. this stinks! unless i convert the files then imovie 08 is useless to me. the file shows up as .mov but stil don't work. i've spent the last 3 hours searching for free file convertors, and all of them are a bust. can anyone help me? any recommendations on a good program to change my .mov to mp4 ?
    i'm beyond frustrated right now... really, i never thought apple would be this stubborn! i see i have the option of converting picture files (from .bmp to .jpeg) but there is no such option for video files.
    please help!

    You don't want to convert more than once.
    QT Kirk is correct here. Your goal should be to not convert the video at all if you don't have to and only once if you must to get it into the editor. iMovie '06 will automatically convert the original clips in iPhoto as part of the "import" process as long as the files are "conversion" compatible with QT and any components you may have installed. iMovie '08, on the other hand, does not perform any conversions as part of a "Finder" level file import. Therefore, if you wish to import to iMovie '08, you will have to do some manual conversion. However, what actually has to be converted may simply depend on the content of the source file.
    1) An MPEG (MPEG-1) or MPEG (MPEG-2) "muxed" file would have to convert both audio and video content to make it compatible with iMovie '08.
    2) A Casio AVI, Kodak MOV, or other digital files containing M-JPEG, MPEG-4, H.264 video with DVI ADPCM or µ-Law audio compression would only have to have its audio content converted. In the case of MPEG-4 and H.264 files, this can be done by using GarageBand to access the "Movie to MPEG-4" export option and "Pass through" the video while only converting the audio content. In the case of M-JPEG files, the audio track can be extracted, converted, and used to replace the original sound track if you have QT Pro available.
    3) QT MPEG-4 slideshow exports can be made iMovie '08 compatible by simply placing the audio/video content in an MP4 container with MPEG Streamclip (free) which strips it of incompatible "Tween" track or manually delete the track with QT Pro.

    another well-known converter, esp for DVD>>Apple-toys-usage is

    note to Mods: the latest version is NO ripper (=DRM-override), but a converter..

  • Sender File adapter File Conversion with key fields

    Please help me guys, I already spent way too much time on this!
    I checked a couple of BLOGs and I think I'm doing the right thing except I'm not getting the result I would expect.
    I'm trying to create an IDoc using the from a flat file.
    I get the following error:
    During the application mapping com/sap/xi/tf/_MM_TEST_ a com.sap.aii.utilxi.misc.api.BaseRuntimeException was thrown: RuntimeException in Message-Mapping transformatio~
    The Source file is this:
    H
    L0015
    The file adapter does create the XML below (looks fine):
      <ns:MT_SINGLE xmlns:ns="http://PPSC_TO_BO_INVOICE">
      <HEADER>
         <ID>H</ID>
      </HEADER>
      <LINE>
         <ID>L</ID>
         <SITE>0015</SITE>
      </LINE>
      </ns:MT_SINGLE>
    When I test the map in IR, with the XML that this file adapter created (above) it works fine!
    Also if I take away the HEADER from the source structure everything works fine and I can create the IDoc, therefore I think something must be wrong in the file conversion, the mapping is so simple there is nothing to fail there.
    The file conversion parameters that I have:
    Document Name: MT_SINGLE
    Document Namespace: http://PPSC_TO_BO_INVOICE
    Document Offset:
    Recordset Name:
    Recordset Namespace:
    Recordset Structure: HEADER,1,LINE,*
    Recordset Sequence: Ascending
    Recordset per Message:
    Key Field name: ID
    Key Field Type: String (Case-Sensitive)
    LINE.fieldNames: ID,SITE
    LINE.fieldFixedLengths: 1,4
    LINE.keyFieldValue: L
    HEADER.fieldNames: ID
    HEADER.fieldFixedLengths: 1
    HEADER.keyFieldValue: H
    What am I doing wrong???
    Any help is much appreciated.
    Thanks,
    Viktor Varga

    Hi Viktor,
    Basic rules:
    1. Down load XML payload(output From Adapter) and test it in IR mapping program. If it is working there is no reason why it will fail in Runtime. Also Check Cache is up to date.
    Generally the problem lies with namespace.
    Hope this helps

  • Receiver CC File - Complex Flat File Conversion

    Dear forum users,
    I want your opinion about the feasibility of the content conversion described below using Receiver CC.
    The structure of my file is the following
    - A File header segment (FH)
    - 1...N Business Object that is described by many segments
    - A file footer segment (FF)
    Exemple of business Object : Purchase Order :
    1 Header Segment (POH)
    N Item Segments (POI)
    Exemple of file :
    FH
    POH (PO 1)
    POI (PO 1)
    POI (PO 1)
    POH (PO 2)
    POI (PO 2)
    POI (PO 2)
    FF
    Is content conversion standard tool can deal with such a structure ?
    Note that in the file created, the order of each segment has a big importance :
    PO Items of PO 1 must be after PO Header of PO 1 but before PO Header of PO 2 !
    I thnik the structure requested by converter described in documentation do not fit with my case :
    <root>...
      <nameA>
            <value1>value</value1>
            <value2>value</value2>
            <value3>value</value3>
      </nameA>
      <nameB>
            <value4>value</value4>
      </nameB>
    </root>
    I should have :
    <root>
    <FH>
      <PO>
        <POH>...</POH>
        <POI>...</POI>
        <POI>...</POI>
      </PO>
      <PO>
        <POH>...</POH>
        <POI>...</POI>
        <POI>...</POI>
      </PO>
    </FH>
    </root>
    Thanks very much for your help and opinions

    Thank you Stephan for your answer.
    Firstly, could you confirm whether the "row" elements under the root tag are on the same level than other elements (POH, POI, FF and FH) or not ?
    I just check the both following parts of the help documentation called :
    - [Inserting MessageTransformBean in the Module Processor|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwpi711/helpdata/en/57/0b2c4142aef623e10000000a155106/frameset.htm]
    - Using the dispatcher : Example
    For me, it is not clear.
    1. Do I need to create an external class (XSLT Library for example) to manipulate my XML data before passing it to the standard Flat File Conversion tool ? (Here the manipulation would be to remove the row XML elements)
    2. Where is located the famous "Data" directory in which I must put my xsl file ?
    Thanks for clarifications.

  • Unicode huge file conversion problem

    I use the command in Unix "<b>sapiconv -f 4110 -t 8600 -o <source file name> <destination file name></b>" calling by ABAP command  "CALL 'SYSTEM' ID 'COMMAND'  "   to convert non-unicode source file to unicode destination file in code page 8600 (Thai language). For the small size source file, It has no problem, but for the huge size source file (27MB - the file was extracted and created by OPEN DATASET from asset master data about 95000 records), it has problem.  There are only about 1300 Records (about 200k) in destination file and <b>the remain records are missing!?!?</b> And every time I run the program, It still has certain result.
    What can I do for this case? or the command 'sapiconv' has the size limitation for unicode file conversion? or which additional parameter should I use?
    Thank you in advance.
