Despite upgrading, my iPhone frequently 'refuses' to show bottom row in Music

- which drives me CRAZY…because it means, NO radio!!! There's no rhyme or reason to it - I've tried all sorts of tricks - sometimes it shows up, more often, it doesn't. NUTS!!
I'm also concerned because during the course of my attempts to do this, ALL MY LIBRARY was 'shared' on my iCloud - which as I'm a songwriter with some songwriter friends is NOT what I want (sorry but recent hacking of iCloud has made me very wary!). So anyone who knows how to UNdo this upload, would help me out a lot also - THX.

The rest makes sense but no point rebooting till this step is completed, first.
When I said 'Shared', this is the option given for 'MacUser' = 'shared' as-in, my entire library was uploaded to iCloud…which I DON'T want! How do I get it back out of the iCloud, i.e. delete it from iCloud? Personally, i prefer my present system of uploading from specified playlists every time I plug my iPhone in2 my laptop, so it only uploads the songs I've chosen.

I'm having the same problem on an iphone 4s running iOS8; when i updated to iOS8, all my ringtones went missing, and when i got a £50 gift card for christmas (2014), I purchased some songs from the iTunes store on my iPhone. i downloaded songs from paramore, panic! at the disco, coldplay, and imagine dragons, over wi-fi, and they went into my iphone music library; but when i re-opened the music app a few days later, in a place where i had no wi-fi, except for my 3G phone signal, some cloud icons appeared next to my newly purchased songs, telling me to re-download them from the cloud, when i haven't even deleted them. this has happened twice now, and i had to use up some of my 5GB data allowance to redownload them from the cloud. This is annoying and i need to fix this issue ASAP.

Since I have upgraded my iPhone 4 to IOS 6 it no longer plays music through the Apple Dock.
The dock still charges the phone, no error messages appear on the screen when I connect it but when trying to play music the sound just comes out of the speakers on the phone and not through the connected dock.
I have obviously tried a reset (power and home button together) as suggested for fixing other sound issues people seem to be experiencing but this made no difference.
Any help would be appreciated!

Why would there be a fix? YOU are having the problem. I'm not, no one I know is having the problem. No fix is needed.
Basic troubleshooting steps clearly outlined in the User Guide are restart, reset, restore from backup, restore as new. Have you been through any, if not all of these troubleshooting steps yet?

HT4527 I can't find any of my previous purchases. I had to buy a new computer because the old one died, and I also upgraded my iPhone. I don't know why the music I previously purchased isn't stored in my iTunes account...?

IPhone 5 refuses to sync most of my music for no apparent reason

iPhone 5 running the latest version of iOS 7, trying to sync to the latest version of iTunes for Windows. Syncs about a third to half of my music (700-1200 songs out of 3000) before saying "finishing sync" and displaying nothing more than the Apple logo at the top. Bar at the bottom displays the 20 gigs of music that would be, but upon looking at my phone I have access to maybe a handful of tracks, ranging from 50-100. Have tried a system restore, have tried unchecking all music and rechecking it. Most of this music is in high-bitrate MP3 format, some is on .aac, none of it is "protected" or purchased from the iTunes store. This music is on an external hard drive along with my library file; going to try to move them to my internal later today, as I fear my hard drive might be dying and this might be causing the problem. If there are any utilities that give me more feedback than what iTunes is currently giving me, I would appreciate links to them. This is by far the most frustrating issue I have ever encountered as a tech user and the lack of transparency as to what is actually occurring when I plug my iPhone in contributes much to that.

If the hard drive that crashed is the one that stored the itunes library, be sure to restore the library from Time Machine (mac) or whatever backup you use on windows. That will get back your music. I suspect that the replacement drive has an empty itunes library and thus, perhaps, the itunes match used that to sync to its servers.
Try posting in the iTunes Match forum, you'll probably find more knowledgeable folks there.

After upgrading my iphone 4S to 5.1.1 I had a problem... woke up one morning and my phone was DEAD! It was completely non responsive, not showing up in iTunes, not charging from my Mophie, or A/C or Mac.

In the online communities Parisilia had posted a fix to do a hard reset (Hold down the home button and power button simultaneously for several seconds, the phone will reboot and will then be recognized in iTunes and you can restore from backup). This worked for me - PHEW!! Off the ledge...
Once my phone rebooted it didn't actually need a restore because it hadn't 'reset' - everything was as it was the night before, although the battery had gone from 51% to 41% Personally I'm shocked that it would drain 10% in one night and who knows how long it was 'dead' for after I put it to bed at 11:45pm????!!
This is my second iPhone 4S since Oct 2011 - the first one had to be replaced because of something radically wrong with the battery capability. After several very frustrating months of trying various fixes Apple finally took the phone back thinking it musta been a dud. I've had this one for about 3 months and it's been much better battery-wise, but now the mysterious DOA event has me seriously worried that I have another dud. Looking thru the communities there seem to be many more people experiencing the same issue, so hopefully it's software and can be fixed (APPLE ARE YOU LISTENING??) rather than me being up the creek again.

2. then you will need to do a "deep clean" of registry
by this I mean a registry search for itunes and delete any and every key you find
*however if you do not know how to do this safely don't try it*
unfortunately the registry cleaners do not clean to this level
and itunes leaves considerable detritus in the registry which can screw up updates and or reinstalls
Apple needs a cleaner similar to Norton's effort which has similar problems. Their tool removes ALL evidence of a previous anti virus installation which is what the above solution achieves in iTunes

I am also having problems with a site I am building. No matter what websafe font I use it displays as New Times Roman in FireFox. The correct fonts show in both IE9 and Chrome.
In addition, text shifts in FireFox. I have to position other text objects farther and farther apart as I go down the page or they start to overlap. Nav buttons and other images also have to be positioned in the wrong place for them to be in the correct place when the page is opened in FireFox. FireFox should display pages correctly by default. I can't expect th average user to have to tweek his/her settings to display my site.
I have been recommending FireFox on my website as the best browser. I might have to change that and abandon FireFox myself.

I had a similar occurrence with my just activated iPhone 4.
I had been using the phone for three days when an odd occurrence with voice mail caused me to call tech support. After some discussion they decided to push the activation to my phone (even though I had been using it for three days). When I went to power it back up again I repeatedly got the "no service" notification. I got tech support on a land line and we tried hard reboots and so on. No joy. They told me to take it in to the point of sale and either the SIM card or the phone needed (or both) needed replacing.
I tried one last hard reboot after dinner and the phone came up with service, but I took it in to the point of sale in the morning and they swapped the SIM card out and I went to a Genius Bar appointment to get the phone checked out. It is supposedly OK, but I am still having some problems when syncing it so I will have to visit the Genius Bar again tomorrow about that. At least I have not experienced the "no service" problem in the roughly 24 hours since the SIM card was replaced. (Fingers crossed)

You may have to try deleting all the music from your phone (by going to Settings>General>Usage>Music, swipping All Music and tapping Delete), then sync it all back on with iTunes in order to fix this.

I recently upgraded my iphone 4S to ios 6.0.1. Then my iphone calender sometimes would show "No Calenders" but closing and re opening a few times would get my calender and events back. Now it only shows No Calenders. I noticed in my settings that the icloud backup is turned off. If I turn that on will my calender come back? My events are still in my calender on the icloud website. I have good news!! I was waiting until I had adequate time to try this recommended fix in case I had any problems with it. Then I decided to enter a new event in my Calender even tho it was showing "No Calenders". As soon as I entered the new event my whole Calender came back! Yeeaaa! I hope this helps someone with the same problem.

Yes it did after a few plug/unplugs of USB. I gave in and tried to restore the iPhone and all seemed to go well for a while, however, after verifying the restore, the iPhone got switched off. When I switched it on, it went into restore mode again! Perhaps a very bad decision to upgrade to IOS 7. Will keep at it and try restoring again as I badly need for tomorrow and post out if I find anything worthwhile.
