Despooler.Box Receive Folder Filling Up Space

I have one primary site and 5 secondary sites and with a few of the secondary sites we store all the files on the D:\ drive and the drive is filling up quickly then releasing space again.  I've done a tree size and it seems to be the Despooler.Box\Receive
Folder that filling up quickly then releasing space so its up and down constantly
I see .tmp file that is increasing in the folder and can I delete the .try files?
Any fix for that?

There is no fix as that folder is used for packages that you deploy to that server.

  • Help with "Automatically fill empty space on ipod" Function in itunes

I am having an issue I don't understand when trying to sync my ipod. I go into the "music" tab where it allows you to select the music you want on the ipod. In addition to selecting playlists, artists, genres, etc. there is a box you can check that says "automatically fill free space with songs." I select a playlist with only a few albums on it which leaves me with a good deal of free space. My assumption was that checking this box would RANDOMLY choose songs (or albums?) in itunes to fill up the free space. However, when I do this it fills up the free space with the *exact same songs/albums every time*! The only thing I have checked off is the 1 playlist so I don't understand why it keeps choosing the same albums and songs to fill up the free space. I want it to just randomly choose songs from my entire music collection to fill up the free space. any help is appreciated!!

Also, it seems that iTunes is not smart enough to -remove- songs when you add something new, i.e. movies or podcasts, and will constantly tell you that the iPod is full. That results in having to un-check the option, remove every song 'automatically added', add the new content, then re-check the "fill free space" box. Did no one actually test this feature or is it done on purpose to wear out your iPod quicker?

  • ITunes 10 Auto Fill Free Space Results in "Over Capacity" Warning.

In iTunes 9 when i had "Automatically fill free space with songs" checked, it would fill my iPhone to about 100MB or so short of full. Very full, but enough space left to be able to download some apps or maybe some music directly to my phone.
In iTunes 10, clicking the very same option results in iTunes telling me that my phone will now be 0.34GB Over Capacity. I tried to do things like unsync large video files, but nothing seems to work. If i unclick "Auto fill" I have 9GB empty, but as soon as i put it back on it jumps over the limit.
    Anyone else having this problem?

Hi, had similar problem on iPad.
Overcame this by setting manual sync on the summary page as mentioned by John Ruffel previously.
then created a smart play list (File menu or ctrl Alt N) with the following rule:
'Size' 'is greater than' '1' MB
Limit to (check box) 12 GB selected by random   Note change to suit your device capacity
    Save
Give the smart play list a sensible name.
Select it to check there is some music in it.
If you are happy then drag it to your device, which should then sync automatically.
It worked for me, good luck.

  • Automatically fill free space with songs

When I am syncing music to my iphone, and I check the box that says "Automatically fill free space with songs," how does itunes determine which songs it puts on my phone? Can I prevent it from placing unchecked songs in my library on my phone?

Ah, it looks like the solution is here:
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?messageID=12209799&#12209799
And involves going to the summary tab, selecting "manually sync music" then deleting all of my songs and resyncing. That shouldn't take more than 45 minutes. I'll report back if it works.

  • "Automatically fill free space with songs" omits half my music

This is a bizarre bug that I can't figure out. The "Automatically fill free space with songs" option on both my iPods and my iPhone will only select from songs that were in my iTunes library as of November 2009, about 7 months ago. I know this because I began importing a large portion of my CD library at about that time, and have been expecting to be hearing some new material (like the entire Beatles box set). Instead, I'm getting replays again and again of songs that I know were in there from before 11-09.
Newer songs can definitely be imported as members of a synced playlist.
I tried a complete rebuild of the iTunes library files -- all that did was screw up my Smart Playlists and reset my "Date Added" field for all songs.
Does anyone have any clue on this?

  • "Automatically fill free space" & Selected Artists

When syncing my iPod, I have the "Selected playlists, artists..." radio button checked so I'll be sure to get my favorite music.  I also have the "Automatically fill free space with songs" box checked so my iPod will be full...however, I just added a new artist to my library, selected that artist to be synced, and iTunes told me there was not enough space to transfer a couple of that artist's songs.  So my question is this: why doesn't iTunes delete a couple of the songs I haven't specifically told it to sync, so I can get my favorite new artist?  Is there an option I'm missing, or is this just iTunes just being iTunes?  I guess for now I'll uncheck the "Automatically fill..." box, sync, then re-check it and sync again, but that is frustrating since I'll have to re-sync about 70GB of music to do so...
    Thanks for any suggestions.

  • Why XI keeps filling disk space

    Hi guru,
I have installed XI 7.0 and upgrade to SP11. just after the successfully upgrade to SP11, I check the disk and there is 8G space. 2 monthes passed, now only 200M space left. I then deactviate all adapter and no message is processing by XI, but XI still keeps filling disk space, I want to know why.
besides, could you tell me normally what components are filling disk space. AE? IS? SLD?.....

    Hi, Chen
Well, usually J2EE stack's logs have maximum size limit. So, it
    is not the reason.
Regarding ABAP stack, for some reason, ABAP's dev traces grows
    over GB sometimes.
So, could you check under the folder /usr/sap/<SID>/DVEBMGS00/work and
    trace files?
    Good Luck

  • Variable length playlist to fill remaining space on iPod?

My Nano always has some room left after I've synced my selected playlists. Is there a way to get iTunes to fill the remaining space on the Nano - perhaps using a variable length smart playlist?
(I know I could create one giant playlist that draws from my individual playlists and set the size equal to the Nano, but that won't work for me - I need individual playlists for the Nano to work in my car).
    Thanks.

  • WatchedFolderEndpoint, Stage folder filling up

I have a service in Livecycle ES that processes PDF files, via a WatchedFolderEndpoint. When the process is complete the original files are no longer needed. I have the watched folder endpoint configured to only preserve on failure, and that is working correctly. The issue is that the files that are in the stage folder never get deleted, even after they have been processed. I know that the files have been processed because I can see them in the database, which is the last step of the service. The folder is on a remote (to the livecycle server) path, and I don't think its a time issue because there are folders in there from the previous day.
My question is this, Why are the PDFs staying in the stage folder after being processed? The watched folder endpoint is used to pickup documents that have been placed there by scanners and we get around potentially 800~1000 a day, so this issue could eat up a lot large amount of disk space very quickly. Right now its manually being deleted periodically.
Here are the settings for the watched folder endpoint:
    Path = \\xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx\SomeFolder\AnotherFolder\
    Asynchronous = True
    Cron Expression: = 0/20 * * * * ?  (Every 20 Secs)
    Repeat Count = -1
    Throttle = false
    Username = SuperAdmin
    Domain = DefaultDom
    Batch Size = 15
    Wait Time = 1000
    Include File Pattern = *.pdf
    Result Folder = empty
    Preserve Folder = empty
    Failure Folder = failure/input
    Preserve On Failure = true
    Overwrite Duplicate Filenames = false
    Purge Duration = -1

We found this same issue where the stage folder filled up to about 29,000+ folders and files and the CPU utilisation went to 100% and never dropped. The server system process was constantly trying to parse the stage directory and as it filled up was thrashing the CPU & disk.
You HAVE to set the result directory parameter in the WatchedFolder Startpoint Endpoint configuration even if you arent using it and set it to purge after 1 day (or anything other than -1 which is never delete). This way the stage folder will self-delete.

  • Does the "Fill free space with music" not work like it did before?

Before updating my iphone 4 to iOS5, the fill free space with music seemed to rotate in and out music and also provided space to add more pictures, podcasts, etc.  Now it just seems to fill the phone to the max on the first sync and just leave what it put on there in place.  If I try to add something like a folder of pictures it will only add a few of the pictures because there is no room.  Before I think it freed up room by deleting some of the "free space" music.  I'd like to go back to that.  I really don't want have to had select every song I put on the iPhone when I have more music than my phone will hold.

Also, how does it decide what to add to the iPhone?

  • [SOLVED] /home folder is taking space on two partitions after install

    Hi everyone,
At first I thought that I would just read these forums, however even after a few days of using Arch Linux I found one issue that was never been asked before (or asked in different way that I couldn't find).
So the problem that I cannot find solution for is that the files in /home folder are taking space on two partitions - on /dev/sda2 and /dev/sda4 and therefore making root partition run out of space.
Some information from commands to get more clear view:

I have checked three times the commands that I ran when installing Arch Linux with a few tutorials including beginner's guide but don't see where could be the issue. Maybe any of you know what could be the problem here?

I'm so confused. O_O What is the problem? The output of those commands are all consistent: "/dev/sda2" is mounted as "/" and "/dev/sda4" is mounted as "/home".
Are you saying that when you create a 1GB file in "/home" that 1GB of space becomes used in BOTH "/home" and "/"?
One thing that MIGHT be suspicious is your use of "/dev/sda4". In a traditional BIOS setup, partitions 1 - 3 are primary partitions and partition 4 is an extended partition. How is your drive partitioned? Could that be related to whatever problem you're seeing?
Thank you drcouzelis for pointing me in the right direction! I thought that creating 1 GB in /home would be used in both /home and /, however when I did that only /home have changed. So I started checking what is causing / to fill out and found that it was the backup of home to the root!
    Thank you for your time

  • TRY files in INBOXES\DESPOOLR.BOX\RECEIVE

I sometimes get a lot of TRY files located in the INBOXES\DESPOOLR.BOX\RECEIVE directory which will consume a lot of my diskspace.
Could I delete those files ?
It seems that everything is running normally. All packages are available at the DP..so why are thise files there...
I reviewed the logs but could not find any issue.
Except that my disk get out of spoace :-(

What about despool.log? What about the size of the files? Do they contain anything at all? It's usually not supported to delete stuff from inboxes manually.

  • I have a 64GB iPad2 and selected to "Automatically fill free space with songs".... will it have to download that 60GB of music to my ipad everytime I sync?  It took about 8 hours to sync the music to it

I have a 64GB iPad2 and selected to "Automatically fill free space with songs".... will it have to download that 60GB of music to my ipad everytime I sync?  It took about 8 hours to sync the music to it.
I did this last night at 10pm thinking it would take 30 minutes to sync these 10,000 songs or so to my ipad to take up the 64 GB.  I went to bed because it was taking so long and woke up at 6am and it was just about to finish.  It finished around 630am.  So it took a good 8 hours to sync.
I unhooked it and used it for an hour or so and then hooked it backup so that I could update a few apps on it.  When i did that it acted like it was re-adding all of those songs again and it took about 8 hours again to sync all the music.  Was that just a fluke because I made changes to the ipad?  or will it always calculate and then re-sync alllllllllllllllllll of those 10,000 songs?
Thanks so much for any help!!!

    Hi
Leave it blank, if you want to publish the site to root folder. .
Or add a name of folder in which you want to publish it. If the folder does not exist on the site already Muse will create it.
