Destination list

Although I can scan from PE 4.0 using my HP 8250 Scanner, I am unable to add
PE 4.0 to the Destination list of the scanner so that I can initiate a scan
to PE from the scanner buttons. I have spent several hours trying to scope
this out but information seems illusive. Can anybody help me add Photoshop
Elements 4.0 to the Destination list of the HP 8250 Scanner?
Thanks in advance.

• Destination list issue when printing

i keep getting the message "no destinations have been added to the destination list"
It's stopping me from printing

Seems unusual that you would get this message for a printer - especially with it mentioning destination. I have seen this message for a fax driver, which you requires you to enter a destination fax number in order for it to work. If you don't enter the fax number in the driver then you get a similar error message.
Depending on the printer that you have, if it is an all in one and has a fax component, then there could be a setting in the driver that is selected to use the fax component. So if removing the printer and re-adding it does not help, then check the menus for the driver.
Also, another setting that can catch you out is the Presets menu. If this has a setting for faxing and it is selected, then this could cause the message. So check that you have the Presets menu set to Default Settings.

• WorkCenter 3225 delete destination list

Hi allCan't find how to delete destination list from printer?When you want to scan to PC you should enter it, by default it's name of the computer, where EPM installed and configured. Unfortunatelly I didn't find any clear documentation about network scanning, so I created a few records from different computers, but finally I made virtual machine, so I don't need all list. I didn't find this list of records neither device menu, nor EPM, nor Web-interface.So HOW?

If there is nothing in the Addressbook, and nothing in EPM from any of the devices you used, then TWAIN and or WIA was used, those would need to be disabled/removed from those PC's as no matter what you do at the printer, as long as it is on the same network location, those client PC's will keep pushing those templates to it.

Hi tmez,
If your Mac is not remembering the selected printer, see if resetting the print system will help.

• 2 recipients in email destination list receiving duplicate reports

I have scheduled 3 reports that have a large list of email recipients, where two of the recipients are receiving the same instance of the email with report attachment twice. I have already verified that the two email recipients are not listed more than once in the destination and that there are no email groups of which they are members included in the destination. I have verified with 3 other recipients in the list to insure that they are only receiving one instance of the report. Can anyone help with this?

Thanks for your comment, however, I have already verified that duplicate instances are not the issue (only one instance is in our Instance manager for the reports in question).
I am still looking for any other ideas.

• Maps .. Destination List

I have searched and searched ... I can not figure out how to delete a whole bunch of destinations in Apple's Maps App. I can not even delete a single destination.
No one I've talked to at Apple has any idea how this is done as well.
I am really concerned. If such a basic, fundamental feature has been completely overlooked, or hidden so it is impossible to discover ... the future of the Maps App must now be of little interest to Apple.

Click in the Search bar and select Favorites
If it doesn't drop down, click the X
You can then click Edit to edit the Favorites list.
This is also how you access people in your Contacts.

• In Import Dialog, Destination listing is incomplete only listing Applications, Library, Systems,

I am trying as I always do, to import some photos from my SD card, and my Destination panel under Macintosh HD only shows 4 items, Applications, Library, System, and User Information. User Information has no drop down file indicator. Normally it would show my entire picture catalog for me to select from. What has happened to it?

It's not a shell script, it doesn't use a parfile. It's a PL/SQL stored procedure that calls the DBMS_DATAPUMP built-in package directly. At this point, I've pretty much got it memorized and no, no one would be changing it without my knowledge or notice.
I know it's 10% of the correct size because sometimes it actually works. I have even watched it fail when I've run it manually as opposed to running it through the OEM scheduler. It's entertaining actually to watch the dumpfile grow to appox 250MB (the correct size) and then shrink to around 20MB (+/- 50 MB) or so when the process fails and finishes. So yes, I'm pretty sure it's a bug - though I haven't jumped to the conclusion that it's neccessarily an Oracle bug yet.
No I can't share - for the same reason I hesitate to open tickets, this is all happening on a closed set of systems. I can't cut and paste - everything has to go through an approved sanitation process, which is laborious and involves cutting CDs and using sneakernet, especially when Oracle support wants every log file under the sun before they want to try and assist. I can use some disgression to retype but I'm not a glutton for punishment in that regard.
So normally if I can't debug it myself - I'll resort to asking questions on forums like this, hoping to find someone who's experienced a similar error and has a work around before I put myself through the torture of opening an SR. I'll let this ride another day or so before I resort to that.
I do appreciate your suggestions, please don't let my responses make you thing otherwise.

Hi Mehul,
Not sure about EP but you can view existing JMS destinations and register new ones with the JMS Connector service in the Visual Administrator. Check these links:

• Open a SharePoint List item in Modal Pop up in SP 2013 fails after you filter or sort the list

Sorry for the long post. This has been killing me. I had this script working perfectly fine in SharePoint 2010 (online) and basically i have a source custom list (list A) with a hyperlink column and a Destination List with say title and my name.
Source List (list A) looks like this with these 2 columns
Title    Test Link
A         Link 1
B         Link 2
C         Link 3
Each of these links link to the actual list item in the destination list, so for example, link 1 is/sites/2013DevSite/Lists/Destination%20List/EditForm.aspx?ID=1
So basically i want anytime the Link are clicked that point to another list's item to open in a modal dialog and the script below worked perfectly fine in SharePoint 2010 (online)

All it does is find the href tags for that particular value Editform.aspx and the pop modal works in SP 2010 online. So the site page is designed in such a way there is a content editor web part with the reference to this javascript file and the sharepoint
list is right beneath it and this worked perfectly opening in modal windows in SP 2010.
Since migration to 2013, this is what exactly happens
1.) when you come to the site page, the modal works,
2.) If you filter or sort on say the Title or Test Link column in Source list (lets say you select the Value A), the script does not fire at all, if i hover over the hyperlink, the who hyperlink is shown and does not open the hyperlink in the modal pop up.
- This is important because i want to be able to sort on a particular item...
Could someone please let me know what am i doing wrong and why is this not working when i sort the list. Thanks for all the help.
Once again i am trying to open a sharepoint list item in Sharepoint 2013 from another list using Jquery

A ListItem has its own unique row id so in all likelihood, an insert with the same data will result in a new list entry. The Lists Web Service however, has an UpdateListItem method which will take an update request. [refer

I am getting an error each time I try to run this code and get the error message "There was a problem submitting your answers. When I look at the demo on the page it fires the same response as that is part of the error handling because it is a standalone HTML and not on a sharepoint server so I am wondering if something I am missing on the submit.click function or batchcmd.

• Drag Drop List to List

I have a source list and a destination list. I want to submit
the contents of the destination list via my sendformdata function
along with the other formitems.
Here are my source/dest lists.
<mx:VBox dropShadowEnabled="true">
<mx:Label text="Available Loops"/>
<mx:List id="srclist" width="300" height="150"
allowMultipleSelection="true"
dragEnabled="true" dropEnabled="true"
dragMoveEnabled="true" labelField="category"
dataTipFunction="myLabelFunc" showDataTips="true"
alternatingItemColors="[#ece8ff, #ffffff]">
</mx:List>
</mx:VBox>
<mx:VBox>
<mx:Label text="Patched Loops"/>
<mx:List alternatingItemColors="[#ece8ff, #ffffff]"
id="destlist" width="200" height="150"
allowMultipleSelection="true"
dragEnabled="true" dropEnabled="true" dragMoveEnabled="true"
labelField="category"/>
</mx:VBox>
user drags one or more items from the source to dest list.
This works great.
Now I need to pass the dropped/selected data in destlist to
myobj, along with the other form items. How?
<mx:Script>

private function sendFormdata():void {
var myobj:Object = new Object();
myobj.name = myname.text;
myobj.email = myemail.text;
myobj.entry = myentry.text;
myobj.entrycomment = myentrycomment.htmlText;
myobj.selectedcats= destlist.????
cfdataInsert.addData({user:myobj})

</mx:Script>
Second part of my question is that I want the value of
myobj.selectedloops to be a comma separated list of categoryid
numbers (e.g. 1,3,5). My query, that populates the source list via
the remoteobject contains categoryid,category, and description
columns. I currently display the category in the labelField of the
list, but I need to submit the categoryid to the DB.
data comes from...
<mx:RemoteObject
id="cfdata" showBusyCursor="true"
destination="ColdFusion"
source="da8.Constellation.entries">
<mx:method name="getCats" result="getCats_result(event)"
/>
</mx:RemoteObject>
getCats ColdFusion function...
<cffunction name="getCats" access="remote"
returntype="query">
<cfset var CatData = "">
<cfquery name="CatData" datasource="#DSN#">
select categoryid,category,description
from Categories
order by category
</cfquery>
<cfreturn CatData />
</cffunction>
and then this function populates the srclist with the
data....
public function getCats_result(event:ResultEvent):void
srclist.dataProvider = event.result as ArrayCollection;
destlist.dataProvider =[];
How do I pass the resulting destlist categoryids to
myobj.selectedcats ?
I don't know how the ArrayCollection organizes the query and
how to reference the categoryid in the srclist and destlists.
I'd appreciate any help.
Thanks,
Don

• Automatically upload documents to list items in Sharepoint Online

Hi
I need to upload pdf documents to a list (not
a document library, this is not an option) on SharepointOnline (Office365).
In practice, whenever a document is "sent" or "uploaded" to the list, a new list item would be created automatically and the document would be attached to the list item automatically.
At the moment, we are doing this manually but this is not practical with 1,000s of documents.
Any help would be appreciated. The community365 people were unable to help and redirected me here.
Many thanks,
AK

For those who may be interested, I found a workaround that does the trick.
Rather than uploading the actual documents to each list item, I upload the documents to a document library and then include hyperlinks to the locations of the documents in the document library.
This can be achieved by:
(i) creating a new workflow in Sharepoint Designer;  the workflow must be attached to the document library where the documents are located AND must be set to launch automatically when a new item is created in the library (see the parameters of the workflow);
and
(ii) in the workflow, choose the action "create a new item"; click on "this list" and choose your destination list; choose a list column where the hyperlink will appear and click on "add" to add a field directing towards that column; choose "Current Element/Encoded
Absolute URL" as the source of data. And bam! it works. A life saver.
Cheers

Now, as soon as i drag an item from the tilelist into the list, the aforementioned error pops up but after dismissing all or clicking on the continue button, I am still able to copy the dragged content from source to the destination. Can anyone please explain what's happening ?
Thanks,
Puneet.

Hmmm. Interesting.
In SQLJ code we have been seeing similat behavior - the iterator (=result set) is still in scope, but when we try to close it, it has become null. It turned out that in this case we were using JDK 1.2.1. Switching to 1.2.2 solved the problem.
Below is the corresponding section from the SQLJ README file.
RUNTIME
Under JDK 1.2.1 a NullPointerException may be experienced when close()ing an iterator instance. This might occur in code of the following form:
NamedOrPositionalIterator iter;
#sql iter = { SELECT .. };
... while loop to process iter ..
iter.close(); // <== NullPointerException on iter!
This problem is due to faulty garbage collection under JDK 1.2.1. You will have to run your SQLJ program under a different JDK version [Bug 1130431].

• Library List Problem

Hi All,
Am using worldsoft A7.3 version. I have created some reports and rpg programs in my own library. Whenever i compile my programs, i need to add my own library in Library List.
Now the problem is when i call a application from MENU, I am in need of adding the library in LL. Adding a library each and every time during login the server is not good when my users execute it.
Please help to solve this problem. Thanks.

hi dip,
I did not found any elegant solution, so i use this code:
string schema = fnew.SchemaXml;
//replace dispname :
SchemaField sch = new SchemaField(schema);
sch.RemoveBadFieldsFromString();
sch.ReplaceFieldInString("DisplayName", fnew.InternalName);
schema = sch.GetSchemaString();
SP.Field fieldtoAdd = listDestination.Fields.AddFieldAsXml(schema, true, SP.AddFieldOptions.DefaultValue);
fieldtoAdd .Update();
//"Bad fields" are : "WebId", "CanToggleHidden","Group","Version"
as you can see, I created the destination list perpartes - iterating fields. It's better , because I can merge lists if structure on source side changed. Not only inspecting bool=list.Exist. (fnew - is field from source list, which must be added. )
If this - "not nice solution" - is suitable for you, I can send you full methods code.
