Destination type MDM missing

Hello dear MDM gurus
I have installed the latest Sneak Preview of 7.2 CE and also deployed the latest SCA files of MDM 7.1 SP4 Patch 3 on my PC.
According to help.sap.com I have to be able to create my new  [Destination|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nwmdm71/helpdata/en/4a/cdd7c31ca822ace10000000a42189b/content.htm] and configure where my MDM Server is, but Destination type - MDM is not showing up at all.
Any words of advice would be greatly appreciated?

Forget it ... it appeared automatically 30 minutes after the SCAs were deployed... a bounce of the server might have helped too.
Regards,
Boris

Like described at chapter 3.3 SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio (NWDS) in NWDS under "Web Service Configuration" two destinations ERP and ERP_META should be created.
In my case the option "Service Registry" at "Destination Type" is missing.
    May anybody help me?
    Best regards

    Hi John,
I think the screenshot is wrong.
You can use WSIL to configure the backend system.
The WSIL url for ABAP systems is http://[host]:[port]/ sap/bc/srt/wsil?sap-client=[client_no]

  • Condition type is missing in Pricing Procedure determination

    Hi experts,
We have a problem with Pricing Condition type in CRM.
We have created a Transction in CRM as a follow up for the Transaction which is replicated from ECC to CRM the pricing procedure has been determined. But the net value is "0".
when I checked in the conditions tab page "the condition type is missing" I checked Pricing Procedure the condition type is very much there. Then I checked for access sequence for that Condition type "Access sequence is also maintained.
Then I checked copy controls for the Source and Target Item categories, for copy conditions the indicator is set up as "copy conditions,Redetermine taxes" then I changed it to "Copy all conditions".
But still it is not happening.
Can any please help me in this regard? Did I miss any configuration?
Any help will be rewarded with points.
    Regards,
    Frederick.

    Hi Fredrick,
This requirement must be assigned in your Pricing Procedure for condition type VKPO.
The system first checks whether the requirement is fulfilled and than only execute that condition type.
Requirements are nothing but Java Routines, which check for some condition before executing a condition type.
    For this Go to path
IMG: CRM-> Basic Functions-> Pricing-> Define settings for Pricing-> Create Pricing Procedure.
Choose your pricing procedure here. Here for the condition type VKPO requirement 41 must be assigned in column REQ. The requirements are coded in JAVA in SAP CRM.
If this Pricing Procedure has been downloaded from SAP R/3, u can check in R/3 itself (Tcode: V/08) what the requirement is meant for, but choosing F1 and than the path for customizing.

  • Destination type code in po receipts

    HI All,
Iam doing a report on po receipts in which there is a column destination_type_code to be displayed, when we looked at the view in the form that is bringing the column value it was from rcv_supply, but when we checked in that table we could not get the value from the above table for some of the receipts.
We are not able to get the exact table from which the destination_type_code is getting populated from, sometimes it is coming from rcv_transactions, sometimes from rcv_shipment_lines and sometimes from rcv_supply. Can anyone tell on what basis does this value is getting stored in the above mentioned tables.
    Thanks in Advance.
    Regards,
    Sandeep V

    Sandeep,
Destination type is originally stored in PO Distributions (PO_DISTRIBUTIONS_ALL) and used by all elsewhere.

  • If output type is missing in PO, can system create a Outbound IDOC for that

    Hi
Scenario: sales order should get generated in anoter system once PO is saved in first system. But this is not happening for a new vendor. I checked & found that output type is missing in PO. Asked user to provide  another PO for which SO was created. I checked that PO, here also output type is missing.
I am surprised that if output type is missing in PO, can system create a Outbound IDOC for that PO? If yes then I am not aware of this process.
Please help me in analyzing this problem.
    Regards
    Sapmm12

    Hi Sridhar,
    Thanks for your replay.
I checked for other vendor also. condition records does not exist in NACE  for any of them. But user is claiming that sales aorder is getting created for those PO. Though I have asked them to provide the sales order number & possibly outbound IDOC number for at least one vendor.
I tried to search IDOC number with reference to PO number but system is taking too much time & ending with run ime error. Because I do not have details of partner, receiver not even message type. Neither I have any process document which can explain how this process works?
any other approach which may work here?

  • RFC Destination Type G too fast

    Hi All,
I have an RFC Destination (Type G) that is pointing to another XI system. We use that to send messages directly from XI to XI. However, when there is heavy load,we get a lot of failures in the source XI System. Messages go eventually after many retry attempts.
Is there any way that i can slow this down, so that the messages queue up in the Source system and flow slowly towards the target. We can do this in a Type 3 RFC destination by reducing the number of connections in Transaction SMQS. Any such options for Type G?
    Thanks,
    Varun

    Hi Liang,
    Thanks for your response.
We are using the XI adapter. Also, to clarify, this is a connection between 2 separate XI Systems.
    Thanks,

  • RFC Destination type for IDOC to FILE

    Hi,
wat is the RFC Destination type for IDOC to FILE ?
    jeff

    hi,
u shud create rfc dest tye: R/3 connections...that is type 3.
    refer this:
    R/3 side settings
    1. SM 59 (RFC destinations)
Create a RFC destination pointing to the XI server. The connection type : R/3 connection. The target host: the XI server.
    2. WE 21 (Ports in IDOC processing)
Create a transactional port. Give the RFC destination created in this.
    3. BD 54
    Create a logical system.
    4. WE 20 (Partner Profiles)
    a. Create a new partner profile under partner type LS.
    b. Assign the message type in outbound parameters.
    c. Open the message type (Dbl click) and configure the receiver port to the port created.
    XI side settings.
    1. SM59 (RFC destination)
Configure the RFC destination pointing to the R/3 system.
    2. IDX1 (Port maintenance in IDOC Adapter)
Create a port and provide the RFC destination.

  • RFC Destination type RFC Receiver Adapter?

    Hi,
What is the RFC destination type for Sender RFC Adapter?
and what is the need a Program ID for sender Adpter.
What is the RFC destination type for Receiver RFC Adapter?
    Regards
    Gopi

When we use the RFC Adapter?
SAP systems up to and including SAP Release 4.6 are not able to exchange data by using XML messages and http. The only way you can connect such systems to the Integration Server directly is by using the RFC adapter (or the IDoc adapter).
You require the sender adapter if you want to use the Integration Engine to process RFCs. The RFC adapter converts the incoming RFC data to XML message format (RFC XML) so that it can be processed by the Integration Engine.
You require the receiver adapter if the determined receiver system expects the data from the Integration Engine to arrive in RFC format. In this case, the Integration Engine must transfer the received XML message (RFC XML) to the RFC adapter. The RFC adapter converts the RFC XML message to a valid RFC call and executes the call.
The following three scenarios are possible when using the RFC adapter and the Integration Engine:
        1) SAP R/3 to SAP NetWeaver Application Server
        2) SAP NetWeaver Application Server to SAP R/3
        3) SAP R/3 to SAP R/3
When we use ABAP Proxy ?
SAP systems based on Web AS 6.40 and higher are able to exchange data by using messages and HTTP. These systems can use ABAP proxies to connect to the Integration Server.
To connect the platform-independent message interfaces, which are stored in the Integration Repository, to the Integration Server, use the ABAP proxy interface.
Please Reward the points if it's helpful...
    Regards,
    Ramana.

  • RFC destination types

When do we use RFC destination Type T versus Type 3?
While creating RFC destination Type T, the program ID, blogs says we should use "Registered server program" and can give any free text. I tried that but says there is no registered server program called XXX on system. So, i'm really confused here.
my understanding is for IDOCs you need Type 3, and for RFC you need Type T. Is that true or we can use any type with these?
    Thanks,
    Anika

    Hi Anika,
i think this links could be useful:
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_47x200/helpdata/en/22/04262b488911d189490000e829fbbd/frameset.htm
Differences in the RFC destination types
You're right, for Idoc you have to use type 3 and for RFC you have to select a type T destination entering a program ID.
    Let's make an example.
Suppose you have defined an RFC destination RFC_X with program id PID_X on ECC.
On XI you have created an RFC sender adapter and you have specified ECC as the sender and PID_X as the program ID.
When from ECC an RFC is called using destination RFC_X then the sapgateway looks for a receiver registered with the program id PID_X, it finds your RFC adapter and sends the call to XI.
    Hope it helps.
    Kind Regards,
    Sergio

  • Error in creating JCo connection with destination type'Load-Balanced Con'

    Hi,
I am working on webdynpro application(NW 04s), i need to connect with the backend system(ECC 6.0) using model.I configured my SLD and created technical system successfully.
The technical system got created with an error:
    CIM_ERR_ALREADY_EXISTS: Instance already exists: SAP_BCApplicationServer.CreationClassName="SAP_BCApplicationServer",Name="ID1.Number.01.HostName.ahsides"
But the system got created so I proceeded with Jco connection creation:
I need to create 2 Jco connections for this,
First with Data Type 'Application Data' & Destination Type 'Single-Server connection'. Second with Data Type 'Data Dictionary' & Destination type 'Load-balanced Connection'.
The first Jco with 'Single-Server connection' got created successfully and ping and test is also successfull.
The second Jco connection with 'Load-Balanced Connection' got created successfull but it is throwing error while pinging and testing.
Ping Error : Failed to ping JCo destination 'WD_EMPLOYEE_RFC_METADATA_DEST'.
    Test Error : com.sap.mw.jco.JCO$Exception: (102) JCO_ERROR_COMMUNICATION: JCO.Client not connected in repository call
Please help me in this. This problem was with 'Load-Balanced Connection' only.

    Hi,
Have you taken a look at the file %windir%\system32\drivers\etc\services?
If you haven't, try and find the line sapms<sid>, where sid is de SID of the system you-re trying to reach.
If the line isn't there write it down like this.
    sapms<sid>     36<nr>/tcp
    That works for me.

  • Condition type EK01 missing in pricing procedure A V (error message V1206)

    Hi gurus,
We get error message "condition type EK01 missing in pricing procedure A V" when creating a Billing request from a SErvice Order through TX-DP90.
We reviewed customizing regarding this issue:
ODP4 - SD Document linked to condition EK01 (this condition shall bring the actual cost in the order)
ODP1 - Dinamyc item profile to create Billing Request.
Pricing procedure: sales area assignments, condition types (including EK01)
    but error still shows.
Any idea what additional setting is necessary in customizing so EK01 is transfered to the SD doc in DP90?
    Thanks,
    VL

    Hi Lakshmipathi,
    Thanks for your answer.
I have taken a look to note you mentioned but it is related to Resource Related Down Payments customizing, which is not our actual requirement.
The note mentions though condition type EK01 for the purpose I am commenting: "...when the system processes a final invoice date, it determines condition type EK01 as the active price condition, thereby billing the actual costs".
Condition Type is in our pricing procedure with all the usual SD customizing settings, why is the system unable to process the costs?
Thanks for your always great help,
    VL
