  • Destiny the Taken King pre-order issue

I've brought destiny a while back and I brought the two add on packs well the season pass well they am bringing out the taken king and when I try to pre order it it says not available for purchase even though my friends Ave the only difference is u bought the season pass they brought the two add ons separately any ideas

    Hi guys,
This issue has been reported to the Store team who are investigating the problem. In the mean time we have discovered a workaround that will allow you to pre-order the Taken King expansion for Destiny.
Please note in order to pre-order the Taken King stand alone expansion (without previous expansions) you must own both The Dark Below and House of Wolves expansions or the Destiny season pass.
To pre-order the Taken King DLC first search for the Dark Below expansion or click here. As you already own this content there should be a purchase button with a price of  £0.00.
Select the purchase button and confirm (as long as the price is still £0.00).
Complete the same process for the House of Wolves DLC
Again make sure the price is £0.00 before confirming the purchase.
Go to the Taken King product page and you should have the option to pre-order.
Any questions or if the doesent work please let me know.
    Thanks,
    SFZ

  • Pre-Order Price Adjusted without GCU discount

I had pre-ordered a 3DS game awhile back and the original price had been $39.99.  With the Gamer's Club Unlocked discount, my discounted price was $31.99.  The price of the game eventually lowered to $29.99.  Once my order ({Removed per Forum Guidelines}) shipped, my price was adjusted from $31.99 to $29.99.  Shouldn't it be adjusting to $23.99 to account for the GCU discount?

    Hi again brandonjf72,
Like enuf mentioned, your Gamers' Club Unlocked discount should have automatically applied to your order, even after the lower launch week pricing had been taken into consideration. No need to worry though! I've had the chance to review your order and it looks like the missing difference was credited earlier today. If you haven't already done so, I'd encourage you to check both your inbox and junk mail folders for a message confirming this adjustment. Please also keep in mind that the funds may not post to the paying card right away -- the exact timeframe required varies by financial institution.
Thanks for being a Gamers' Club Unlocked member, as well as for ordering with us!

  • Pre-order prices

I recently pre-ordered an album that is $11.99. It was one of those albums where a song downloads immediately when you pre-order. Will the price of that song be automatically taken out of the price of the album? I'm just wondering if iTunes will charge my account $10.70 instead of $11.99 when the album is released...

  • Destiny Limited Edition Pre-order and My Best Buy

If you pre-order Destiny on any console, you get a $10 certificate. Does this apply to the limited edition version as well?

    Hi sbauer318,
With the recent additions of the Limited and Ghost Editions of Destiny, it’s no surprise there would be questions about your My Best Buy benefits when pre-ordering the different versions! Like everyone else, I’m pretty excited to check out Destiny, although I only went with the Standard Edition. I’m beginning to wonder if I should have splurged for at least the Limited Edition.
To answer your question, yes, the Limited Edition should also apply to the $10 My Best Buy Reward Certificate bonus when pre-ordering with Best Buy. To my knowledge, all physical versions of Destiny, including the Ghost and Limited Edition, qualify for the promotion.
If you’re yet to get your pre-order in, I’d suggest heading over to the Destiny page on BestBuy.com and doing so while the Limited Editions are still available! Also, please feel free to let us know if you have any other questions.
    Cheers,

  • Destiny Vanguard Armory Pre order bonus

Bungie recently revealed that when you pre order Destiny you receive access to the vanguard armory. When I went to check the Destiny page at Best buy.com, there was no mention of it. Will people who will or have pre ordered Destiny receive this content.

    Hello Kkuckowicz,
There have been a number of exciting announcements from Bungie this week related to Destiny and the Vanguard pre-order bonus is one of them. This bonus is actually a national offer, which means all pre-ordered copies of the game will include the bonus with the game. Copies pre-ordered through Best Buy will have this as well and we hope to have that information included on our page before too long. For any future updates on Destiny, please feel free to keep an eye on our post here.
Thanks for posting and please feel free to let me know if you have any additional questions.
    Sincerely,

  • HT204370 Pre Order Price

If you pre order a movie, and then the price increases before it is released, what price do you pay? Under my account, pre-orders, it does not show a price and my card has not been charged. Thx

    Hey Incogneato,
Thanks for pre-ordering your games from Best Buy!  I'm glad we can be your gaming destination.  I've got some good news for you.
If the price of an item drops at the time of shipment, you will automatically pay the lower price. Your credit card is not charged until the time of the product's shipment.  With this in mind, you would not need to cancel that item from your order to submit a new one.  You will see the price reflect after it has processed for shipping.
For any additional information, please visit our Price Match Guarantee,
    Thanks,

  • MGS: V Pre-order/price drop

    Hello,
I pre-ordered Metal Gear Solid V: Ground Zeroes - PlayStation 4 when it was $39.99 and it recently dropped in price to $29.99.  My pre-order included other items and I used a reward zone certificate on the order.  The total for the game after 20% GCU discount was $31.99 and then -$10.48 for the distributed reward zone certificate.
What I need to know is, do I need to cancel and reorder?  Or will I be refinded the difference somehow by letting the order go through completely?  The way I see it, the total should now be $13.51 after GCU discount and RZC.
Please let me know if you need the order number or any other information.  Thank you for your time.
    Best regards,
    -Andrew

    Hi andrewcounty,
Good question! Whenever you pre-order an item on BestBuy.com and a price change occurs prior to release, you'll always receive the lower of the two prices. Any applicable GCU discounts and My Best Buy certificates will then be applied to the lower sale price when your order is shipped or picked up at your local store. For additional information though I'd encourage you to check out our Pre-order FAQ:
    BestBuy.com > Help Center > Pre-orders

    I hope this helps.

  • The Last of Us Remastered Pre-Order/Price Drop

Has it been announced how the price drop affects preorders on The Last Of Us? I ordered before the price drop, and the price drop is still not reflected in my order. It still shows at the original price (less my GCU discount).
Will I need to return it and buy again to get it at the right price?

    Hi fossen,
Thanks for reserving your copy of The Last of Us Remastered with us!
Whenever you pre-order on BestBuy.com, you're automatically guaranteed the lowest pre-release sale price available. This means that if you pre-order a game at $59.99 and it later drops to $39.99 prior to launch, you should only pay the $39.99 plus applicable sales taxes and shipping. For more information, you may want to check out the following FAQ:

  • Destiny Limited Edition Pre-Order Bonus $10 Issue

I pre-ordered Destiny 2 months ago online for in-store pickup.  Went to the midnight release and was told that they didn't have my game (Destiny XB1 LE).  I went home, called bestbuy.com and asked what was going on.  She said it showed in store, and to pick it up in the morning.  Go back in the morning of release day and am told that they were shipped 360 LEs by mistake and that no other store anywhere had a limited edition.  I go back at the end of the week and ask what is going to be done - they initially say nothing.  The manager then gets on the phone and starts calling stores - lots of stores - and finds a copy and has it shipped in.  When I go to buy it, they cancel my pre-order and ring it up under a new transaction (i.e. no $10 in points).  Could I still get my $10 in points?
    Thanks,
    Chris

    Hi cficare,
Thanks for pre-ordering and purchasing your copy of Destiny with us! I was glad to read that the staff at your local store was able to help you find a solution, despite the initial version mix-up.
In order to guarantee you receive the $10 pre-order bonus certificate, the rep who assisted you should have fulfilled your initial order and then processed an exchange if necessary. Cancelling the initial order prevents this from occurring, so I'd be glad to see what can be done to assist you.

  • Price went up after I had pre-ordered

Hi. I pre-ordered the deluxe edition of Take That's new album 'III' on New Zealand itunes on 23rd Nov. The price was $17.99 when I put my order. However, I am astonished to find that the price has gone up to $21.99 today!
I am worried because in the 'Manage pre-order' page there is nothing about the price, so I don't know whether I will be charged for $17.99 or $21.99. If It is to be $21.99, then what's the meaning of a pre-order?
I have already sent off an e-mail to apple support team, but since the album is going to be released in two days in New Zealand, I'm afraid of not receiving an answer by then. So I'd like to know is there any one who had similar experience and what's your solution to the problem?

    Antony,
When you pre-order, you are doing the deal at the "pre-order price."  It does not matter if the price in the store later changes.  See iTunes Store: About pre-orders - Apple Support
In the unlikely event that you experience a problem when the item is released, contact iTunes Customer Service then.

  • I pre-ordered an album, but its not showing up in my purchase history but it says I have it in my acount info. Thanks in advanced.

I pre-ordered George Ezra's new album (the dulxe version), but and it says I have it in my accout info but it wont download.

    Hi GroveMaster,
The article below explains how the pre-order process works.  If the item does not automatically downlowd to your iTunes Music library, and you are unable to download the purchased content, I've included a link to contact the iTunes Store Support team as well.
iTunes Store: About pre-orders - Apple Support
    http://support.apple.com/en-us/HT202723
You can pre-order music and movies from the iTunes Store prior to their public release date. Pre-ordered items will download when they become available.
If an item isn't yet available, you may be able to pre-order it and download it when it becomes available. Items available for pre-order will have an orange pre-order button that displays the pre-order price. Most pre-orders will show an expected release date near or below the pre-order button. When the pre-order item becomes available, your account will be billed for the pre-order, and the item will appear in the Purchased section of your account. If there is a billing issue that prevents us from billing your account when the item is released, you'll receive an email notifying you that the item is available. You need to click the link within the email, using a computer and the latest version of iTunes, to fulfill the pre-order. You may also receive one or more emails if the status of your pre-order changes.
Some pre-orders include songs that are available for download immediately. When you pre-order, you will be charged only for these songs and you will receive them immediately. To pre-order an item
Click or tap the Pre-order button.
Click or tap Pre-order on the confirmation dialog.
    When you've successfully completed a pre-order, a thank-you page will appear.
     Download a pre-ordered item
When a pre-ordered item becomes available, you will receive an email letting you know that you can download your pre-order.
If you enabled the option to automatically download prepurchased content in iTunes, then your pre-ordered content may already be in your library. If not, click the download link provided in your email notification, and your pre-ordered content will begin to download. You can also use the Check for Available Downloads feature in iTunes on your computer (choose Store > Check for Available Downloads) to begin downloading your pre-order.
To view, cancel, or see the expected release dates for your pending pre-orders
Choose Store > View My Apple ID and click Manage Pre-Orders, which is located in the Settings section at the bottom of the Account Information screen in iTunes on your computer.
From the Manage Pre-Orders screen, click the Cancel button to the right of the pre-order you want to cancel. You'll be asked to confirm your pre-order cancellation.
Note: You can't manage pre-orders on iPhone, iPod touch, or iPad.

  • Pre-order pickup, reward certificate, and payment option questions

I pre-ordered an item on bestbuy.com for pickup at a local store. When I got there, I asked if I can use my reward certificate and the customer rep said that I couldn't. Is that true?
Another person next to her said she could back out the charges and re-enter the item, but when I told her I got it at a special pre-order price (gamers club unlocked price) she said she wouldn't be able to honor it.
Also, if I bought an item online and picked it up at the store. Can I change my payment method at the register? I asked someone a couple weeks ago and they said they couldn't change payment methods.
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi there Mcbutters-
We appreciate that you choose Best Buy to place your pre-order!  I’m sorry to hear about the confusion you’ve had with this order and some others around how to get that reward certificate added to an order.  Hopefully I can help clear some things up for you.
To answer your first paragraph, that it technically true.  When you place an order for in-store pickup, you are charged for the order when the store indicates it is ready for pickup.  At that point, the payment method cannot be changed.  However, once the transaction is complete, the store may be able to perform a return and then re-ring the purchase for you.  Keep in mind however, that any funds used from gift cards, reward certificates and your credit card would not be immediately available as in general it takes a few business days for those funds to go back on the cards or accounts.
This leads me to my next point, which is generally we are unable to modify the payment method beyond changing a credit card on your order beyond 30 minutes after the order has been placed.  While your credit card is not charged until the item ships or the store indicates that it is ready for pickup, the card is generally authorized right away for 3-5 business days.  This is the same time frame we offer for changing shipping or pickup options as well, you can find more information on that here.  Another option would be to do as Batman1982 suggested and cancel your order to then place a new one.  Again, it may take a few business days for funds to return to gift cards, your My Best Buy account, etc.
However, there should be no reason why they would not have been able to apply the 20% off new games software benefit that you get from being a Gamers Club Unlocked member.
I hope that this helps, but if you have any further questions, please let me know.

  • What's the point of pre-ordering an album?

A couple of weeks ago I pre-ordered the Glee Soundtrack Vol. 2 priced @$9.99
It just became available and I got an email advising me I can now download it. When I do, I get a pop-up saying that the final price is now $12.99 not the $9.99 that was displayed when I pre-ordered it and I will be charged the $12.99!!
How is this possible? In every other store, not only are you guaranteed the pre-order price no matter how much the "final" price ends up being, but you actually will get the item for less should the "final" price happen to drop from the time you pre-order to the time you actually receive it.
What exactly is the purpose in pre-ordering if Apple forces you to pay the new higher price anyway? This seems totally unfair and unjustifiable.
Sorry, am I ranting for nothing? Am I missing something? Is there some method I am missing that I am to use to d/l the album at the price at which I originally agreed?

It's so funny you mentioned this, I'm currently having the same problem with the same album. I actually just finished sending iTunes an email about it (supposed to get back to me within 24 hours) and then found this article. I would suggest you do the same, but if you don't I'll try to remember to post back what I hear from them. I've always had great support for the odd thing that didn't work properly (like a glitch in a TV show or something) so I'm sure they'll clear this up without a problem. I asked the same thing too though, about what price I actually get charged, so hopefully I'll also get a response to that too. But yes, according to most pre-order rules in other stores, it should be the price we pre-ordered it for. Oh and yes I've checked for available downloads from the iTunes Store menu, but it just told me everything has been downloaded already. I double-checked my library to be sure it hadn't downloaded in the background but it was definitely not there. It has not downloaded yet.

  • Itunes Movie pre-orders - NOT WORKING

I purchased SALT via Pre-order. I was finally able to get it to download, but was charged the full price and not the pre-order price. I also pre-ordered Resident Evil and the links do not work to download my order.
I am able to log into the store and down load other items, so it is not an issue with my account, connection, login, or permissions on my mac.
Any ideas? I see others are having similar issues with other pre-orders as well.

I was having the same problem and only just now I went into iTunes, then the iTunes Store and selected 'Account' in the Quick Links menu on the right-hand side, it popped up and asked me to re-login, so I did and low and behold I got a pop-up message stating that I had pre-orders ready for download and if I wished to download them now to click "Ok", so I did and my stalled pre-orders came to life and started downloading... wish Apple could improve on this but now I'm happier they're downloading
