Detaching the clips while magnetic connected

Hi guys
As the example lets see this picture:
we can see that the audio track is "connected" to the video in around first second of the whole project.
I want to ask how to change the place where it is connected? I want to change the place of this green little thing which indicates where the audio is connected to video - how can i change the connection place?

It's called a "connection point." Simple to change:
Put your cursor over the point that you want the connection to be moved to (on the connected clip), hold down cmd-option, and click.

Now I want to connect the combobox through the remote URL connection of my client system. So that it will be updated simultaneously in client and server.

The user closed the browser while still connected

Like when using regular internet site, the user can at any moment close the browser withoug logging out. In this case, the JDBC connection will remain open (i guess until the session timesout), is there a way to handle these open session and close them to release the session from the database

when you deploy the Application into an oracle application server, specify the DataSource for it, There you will find in addition to connection details some timer settings specifying how many seconds the server waits on idle connections before closing them.

Playing clips while downloading

In my website I have video clips of my work.
How can you set up a website that allows you to watch the clip while the rest is downloading?

Can some please tell me how I can watch movie while downloading them and not having to what unitl completed?
This may be entirely out of your hands. Generally speaking, files downloaded directly to your player or played on the web via the plug-in player may or may not be encoded as "fast start" files which begin playback as soon as sufficient data is cached to the local device. However, web pages can be coded to override the file settings depending on the desires of the page creator. In addition, the length of time it takes to cache data and begin "fast start" playback may depend on your particular internet connection speed for downloading the data. Lastly, some compression formats may require the entire be download to be download to find the EOF before playback can begin.

Show Clipping while in Library Module

I am shooting tethered and wondered if there is a way to view the clipping while in the Library Module Loupe? I noticed that it only seems to work in the Develop Module but if i try to shoot tethered while in that module the photo will not update as I shoot. I am using Nikon Camera Control Pro & Lightroom to see my Photos appear on screen as I shoot and while I can view and read a histogram i thought it would be even better if I could see the clipping....

On my set up- diff. camera Mfg,- I can shoot with card in. Kinda a nice backup, too. Also, I am pretty sure it displays (if set to do so!) whether there's a card or not. Mileage varies.

I can feel the earth on the body of the mbp while charging, is it safe ?

i feel a kind of low electric charge on the body of the mbp, while its connected to the charger, and mostly all time its connected.
i googled and found the reason that, its because the pin of the charger is 2 pin and it doesnt have the earth pin in it . tht current isnt dangerous i think , as it feels good to rub on the surface.
But my question is , is it safe for the mbp. ?
i am afraid , tht it may affect the internal parts, something like that.

I feel the same in my iphone4. While charging through electricity i can feel the charge in the headphone slot.
For ex- when i am charging my phone and talking at the same time my ear is in contact with the headphone slot which is on the upper part of the iphone. And i can feel the charge in my ear. Charge is low.
Plz lemme knw if its fine or do i need to visit the service center.

I have a piece of detached audio. Video Frame rate is 23.98. The piece of Video above it is Video Frame Rate 24.

Nope, the Automatic Speed did not work. I exported the XML, and then ran it through X2Pro to try and get my AAF, and it still spits out conform warnings/errors on those same spots. Automatic Speed apparently did nothing helpful to my situation. (Can Anyone explain Automatic Speed?)

Curious to see what FCPX would do with this media, importing the 24p file to a 25 Project cause a noticeable shift in both time and pitch.
I imported the time coded audio separately, and played it against the obviously speed and pitched changed video with embedded audio. The files did not sync.
The audio remained in time and pitch, while the video didn't. So the audio tc doesn't seem to effect playback in FCPX, but video definitely does, and it seems rather buggy.
So, if your video is 24.0 and your audio is 23.98 and you are in a 23.98 timeline, FCPX might be changing the speed of the video without really reporting it. Resetting speed doesn't do anything, hitting "automatic speed" screws it up a bit more (it goes the wrong way). Changing the speed to something like 96% (FCPX reports 96% but I know it's really ((24000/1001)/25) which is just short of 96%. Turning off the "preserve pitch" checkbox actually pitched the audio back to normal.
I didn't create the 24.0 vs 23.9 media that you have, but perhaps you are having similar issues, or a different combination/permutation therein.
But to answer your question, the time coded audio was not changed, only embedded audio.

But here some notes which makes things hopefully clearer.
Resampling and changing playback speed are two totally different things.
Samplerate for audio is the same as fps for video (not dpi for video) so let's call it sps.
You can record audio at any sampling rate. But let's take 48 kHz and 32 kHz here.
Record 60 seconds. Once recorded both files as stand alone files will play 60 seconds.
But forced to play back in a NLE timeline with a fixed sps of 48 the first file will playback correctly. The second one will play at 2/3 of the time (32/48). The other way round the 48 sps file will play longer in a 32 sps timeline.
Now for those poor guys who have to work with NTSC:
A real world second is not a second in NTSC video world. Its 1001/1000 seconds.
So selecting a 48k sps audio preset in a timeline preset means that a real world audio of 60 seconds is only 1000/1001x60. That means that those 60 seconds are only 59.94 seconds long. Its too short.
One way - if you stay strictly in NTSC - is to record audio with 48048 Hz. This way a real world 1 second audio will match a 1 second NTSC video.
Next option with BWAVE files is to change the playback settings in the BEXT header of the file. This won't resample the file!!!
Now about the TC. BWAVE doesn't have a TC in a way you're used when handling video. It has a timestamp in the header. This timestamp contains the Samples after Midnight. Based on that the NLE will convert this to TC which can be displayed. So in NTSC world this might give a wrong interpretation.
For example if you have a "Start TC" of 00:10:00:00 (thats what you see on your audio recorder) it means that using 48kHz the timestamp is at 600x48,000 = 28,800,000 samples. Since the real sampling rate in the timeline though is 48048 Hz you have to divide the source stamp by this number. This results in 9.99000999000999 minutes. So for a 23.976 fps project this is a TC of 00:09:59:10.
So setting the Bext header and/or iXML chunk to the correct playback speed will keep everything intact. Again this is without resampling!
Using an AIFF there aren't these options.
So you can edit all the stuff without resampling when using BWAVE. But resampling will happen when you export a final movie.

How to limit the number of TCP connections beeing used concurrently while a page is beeing loaded?

We manufacture industrial small-footprint control modules with embedded web server. The resources of these modules are very limited, especially in RAM. We have problem, that FF opens 15 parallel TCP connections while loading a web page (main html page first, then all icons simultaneously). We can not handle such behavior because of lack of RAM memory needed for TCP buffers.
Question is how to limit the number of concurrent TCP connections the browser will use? We need to do it somehow directly from the page, we can not push our customers to change the general settings of their browsers (they would not understand such things anyway).
Do anyone have any suggestion?

Sorry, one other thought. Many web designers now combine all icons into a single image and use CSS to clip the image so that only the desired portion is displayed. This minimizes the number of required connections and increases the probability that the image can be retrieved from cache.

I often use my shuffle while exercising, cleaning, and just generally going about my day. Never once has it come unclipped exept for when I got the earbud cord caught on something and got said earbuds yanked out of my ears. I have permanently solved that problem by simply running the cord under my shirt. Works like a charm! I can't answer you about the nano, though I'd say it has a higher likelihood of coming off as it is a bit heavier.

I had IOS5.1.1 on my iphone 4.
i connect my phone to WI FI to upgrade to IOS 6.
while downloading the 599 Mb, i notice that battery is 39%
i connect the phone to USB charger connected to PC, and it shows that charge going on.
after downloading the 599 MBs, it started the long restart.
after, it start the short restart, then (Please connect to I tunes) appears on the screen.
this was strang message, since i did the same upgrade to other devices, and it shouldn't ask for this.
i thought may be because the device is connected to Pc, so, i um plug it from the Pc, but it keeps asking to connect to i Tunes.
i switch it off, and on, and again it asked to connect the iphone to I Tunes.
i open the I tunes and connect the phone to the PC.
then i got this message on i tunes: Error happened, please click Ok to restore.

and i do not know what to do, i did restart PC, and reconnect, but nothing new.
the Iphone just showing the APPLE sign only since that time.

My external HD will not show up on my desktop anymore. I'm on macbook pro 13", OS 10.7. It doesn't show up in disc utilities, nor on another mac, nor on that mac's disc utility. I happened to restart the comp while the HD was connected.

It sounds as though the external drive may have failed. There's nothing at all wrong with restarting your computer with the external drive connected -- that's a perfectly reasonable and normal thing to do, done by countless users every day without any ill effects.

If you are the only user on your computer you probably don't have multiple user accounts set up and can disregard that. If you are using iTunes 11 go to View>Show Sidebar. Now see if your iPad appears under Devices on the left side when you connect it. If it does, click on the name of your iPad on the left side and your iTunes sync settings options will appear in folders with tabbed headings to the right.

First, go to iMovie/Preferences and enable the Advanced Tools.
Import the video clip into an iMovie Event. When you get ready to use it in an iMovie Project, select the clip in the Event and drag & drop it on top of a video or photo clip in the project at the place where you want it to begin. When the pop-up menu appears, choose Audio Only.
