Detail line separator

When "Grouping" is used in a report, every records making up
the "detail line" section becomes separated by a grey line going
across the report. This line is only visible on the output (PDF in
this particular instance) therefore cannot be "Selected" and
deleted in "Design Mode".
I looked at the different options available on the righ-hand
side of the Report Builder's interface but could not see nor find
the one that would get rid of it.
Does anyone know how to remove this line?
I am using CFReportBuilder on CFMX7 and Dreamweaver 8.

Got it! By Zooming In I was finally able to see, select and
delete the line that was up & VERY close to the TOP of the
Detail section.

According to your description, you want to design your report as the screenshot your post and hide the detail row until select in top parent group. Right?
In this scenario, we can design the report as you have done by yourself, then delete the column (Label), but still keep the Label group, then add a column left of Disc, put the data field into appropriate textbox. You can get the same effect as your first
screenshot. And we can hide the detail rows and set them toggled by Artist. We have tested your case in our local environment. Here are steps and screenshots for your reference:
1. Create a table. Drag Disc into textbox, add parent group with header (group on Label) for Disc, add parent group with header (group on Artist) for Label.
2. Delete the column Label, add a column left of Disc.
3. Right click on detail rows, select Row Visibility. Set hide and toggled by Artist.
4. Save and preview. It looks like below:

System line separator under Mac OS X

Unfortunately I don't have a Mac available to test on. Can any Java/Macintosh experts answer these two questions for me?:
1. What's the System line separator under OS X? Still "\r"?
2. What line separator is used by OS X implementations of PrintWriter? (That is, what line separator will an applet running on OS X send across the Internet if you use a PrintWriter to write to a Socket?)

It doesn't help. I'm sure that if you thought about it for a bit you'd figure it out, but here's the reason: I'm not coding the client side, I'm coding the server side. Because we're using NIO -- no Streams, ByteBuffers -- details like line separators which would otherwise be transparent are now potential issues. Currently client applets on Windows and Linux are connecting fine, but, those on OS X are not. OS X clients used to work before we switched to NIO on the server. One thought is that the glitch could be because of the different line separators, which, before our change to NIO, were translated for us automatically by the Streams we now no longer use. Dynamically determining line separator at runtime would be wonderful if my code ran on the client, that is, the OS X machine. But, it doesn't. Thus, my question.
Now, if there's anyone on OS X who can answer from knowledge, I'll be very grateful. Please note though the question is "what's the line separator on OS X", it's not "what's the best way to determine a line separator". Many thanks.

Field values in detail line being cutoff

I am using Crystal Reports 2011.
I have a report created in Crystal Reports and is being populated by a Dataset.
The report is displayed in a CrystalReportViewer in an ASP.Net page.
I am finding that sometimes the string data in fields in the detail line are being cutoff.
For example:
There is a column in the report called Status.
The table field has a value of Started1234567.
When the report is displayed in CrystalReportViewer, the Status column only shows Started12 in the detail line.
Even when the report is exported to a MS Excel .xls file and you click on the cell with that value, it still only has a value of Started12 instead of Started1234567.
I am not concerned that the value is cutoff in CrystalReportViewer.
But it would be better to be able to see the whole value when the report is exported to a file, especially to a MS Excel .xls file. Is there a way to keep the value from being cutoff when being exported?

Hi,
Setup the font size is smaller i.e based on your requirement..
Format the field and on the paragraph tab put a small value in the Indentations Left box. I use 0.1 cm, but it depends on your settings in Page Setup..
As of now these are the possible ways....

There is a one - to - many relationship between Move Order Line and Delivery Detail Line when you split lines in delivery.
select * from mtl_material_transactions t you have source_id.
select * from WSH_DELIVERABLES_v t you have move_order_id.

UIX Master-Detail - Find button does not display detail lines

Hello,
We have a master-detail UIX page. Master has one attribute only. When 'Next' or 'Previous' buttons are pressed, the next master-detail records are displayed.
However, when master attribute's value is changed by the user and the 'Find' button is pressed, the new detail lines are not displayed. Also we get following error:
JBO-26080: Error while selecting entity for <ViewObject>
Has anyone experienced this issue before?

Print Detail Lines on One Page?

Hi Friends
I am creating xml template for Printed Purchase Order Report in Potrait Style.
If the Detail Lines are more than 2, the third one is going to next page.
I want all the Information Including Header and Detail LInes to be printed in one Page( as the Ever Green Output )?
Any help on this.. where to set the Table or row Properties or any code to be added?

PDF Form to XML. How to handle invoice detail lines

I am using LC Designer 7.x on a PDF form that has a submit button that loads a ColdFusion MX7 page that will save the XML in a MS SQL 2005 XML field.
My source of confusion is how to handle the invoice detail lines on the PDF invoice form.
The XML that I want is
    5 All Season Tires
    400.02
    A car with 5 wheels
    20400.00
My question is how do I setup the form fields to do this.
What I did prior to XML was have fields whose name included the line number and store them as FDF.
eg
    description01 amount01 description02 amount02
But that will not work, or I dont know how to translate that to the desired XML.
Any thoughts you might have would be appreciated.

You want to create a subform called "invoiceLine" which you've set to repeat for each data item using the Binding tab of the Object palette. This subform must be contained within another (e.g. "invoiceLines") whose content is set to be "Flowed" on the Subform tab of the Object palette. So your object hierarchy looks like:
invoiceLines = subform with flowed content
    invoiceLine = subform repeated for each data item

      amount

XML Document to String - Line Separator problem

I�m facing a problem with line separator while converting a Document object to String.
Scenario: I get an input XML having line separator say \n (hex: 0A).
When I create the output XML using Transformer, the line separator is still \n.
I have a requirement which makes me convert the transformed Stream into a Document.
When I try to get the String/bytes from the Document, my line separator is now �\r\n�(hex 0D0A), which is my system�s System property �line-separator�.
I want to keep the line separator same as that was in input string. So, if the input has the separator has \n, output should have the separator as �\n� and if the input has it as �\r\n�, output should have the same.
i.e. my hex output should match the hex input.
Any pointers in the direction are welcome.

Can I infer that the parser has changed my document
line separators when I load it into a Document?
If yes, is there a way to prevent that from
happening?I don't really know. Since the XML recommendation says that a parser "MUST" do line-break normalization, I would expect that it does. And I wouldn't design systems that use specific non-XML-approved line endings as a feature, either.

Accounting documents with payment details line item

when i create witth transaction TBZ1 the account document related to a deposit financial transaction i generate a line with negative amount on the account related to the business partner ( FTR-EDIT / PAYMENT DETAILS / PAYER-PAYEE ).
I need to generate the negative amount on the account related to the house bank/account id of the payment details line item.

In the customer master assign a different credit memo term than the payment term.
Try changing the credit memo term for 3rd Invoice as such it do not fall in your selection criteria.

Do you mean a Horizontal Rule (the <hr/> tag)?
Click where you want it to appear and go to Insert > Horizontal Rule, or drag and drop from the Common heading of the Insert window.
If that's not what you're talking about, could you be a bit more descriptive as to what you are trying to accomplish?

Column headings line up, but detail lines dont.

We've got a script to get a payments listing out of a table, the spool file is created and looks fine. However it fires up adobe acrobat and the report looks really bad.
The column headings line up, but the detail under them does not, it appears to almost left justify everything.
If a field is blank, instead of leaving a space for the field size, it brings in the next field adjacent to it. So none of the detail lines line up vertically, its all over the shop. I realise this maybe something to do with the way adobe works (v4). The other reports within the system, which use the same method work ok.
But does the script look ok? Like I said, the spool file appears to look ok.

Line separator for text files

Hello
I am writing a tab limited file which gets its data from a string[][] array . When i try opening the file its messed up with square blocks in notepad and looks great with wordpad. I do know that Unix has '\n' as the line separator, whereas windows has '\r\n' and mac has '\r'.
The problem is the file is created on unix system, but its opened on windows or mac systems. Does anyone has a suggestion how can i fix this. I did tried using 'line.separator' but that doesn't help..which is obvious since it uses the unix separator.
Please let me know if anyone can help

Creating a line separating columns?

I need to create a 4 column table for my website. However I
don't want a table where the outline is visible, instead I need to
create a separator separating the columns. Here is an examples of
what I mean.

I have a Picking sheet form that i need to print detail lines base on the qty required. I need to print serial numbers based on the Qty.
i.e..
