Detail Navigation not showing up

Hi
I am running on NW04s, EP7.0.
I dont find the detail navigation in my portal for all Users. But if I log on as Administrator, then the detailed Navigation works fine. Is there a setting or some bug ?

Hi,
first go to the framework you are using. Open, goto <i>InnerDesktop</i>, open. Check that the Detailed navigation (com.sap.portal.detailedNavigationTree) is visible (checkbox). Goto layout and check that the DTN is in the Navigation panel.
Everything is OK?

Detailed Navigation Not shown

It seems if an ip address used instead of hostname in the browser, the detailed navigation will not show. e.g. http://192.168.0.230:50000/irj will not show detailed navigation but http://Redapple04:50000/irj will show.

I think that is not true. I have checked with both. Detailed Level Navigation(DLN) shows up with both IP address and host name. In both the cases, default framework page(DFP) is only getting displayed. By default, DLN is visible in DFP. So it doesn't matter if u use IP address or host name. May be there can be some other changes with both but not with any display.

I created applications in web dynpro.So i imported in the Enterprise Portal.
In that I created Role----Under That Worksets (X ,Y ,Z, W) -For each workset I created more than 4 Pages to that---For each page i added Iview.
I added "IP Address" and "HostName" in the c:/windows/system32/drivers/etc/host
Then i login into the Portal with normal URL
http://<HostName>:50000/irj/portal
So its Displaying.....Up to this its fine...
If suppose i want to login with
http://<IP Address>:50000/irj/portal....Under Each Workset, one page is showing,,,means one Iview is Visible...means Detailed Navigation is not showing.
All Pages are not visible...
Please any one help me to do this....
So its not possible to say to anyone ,,,,u have to add this ip Addrss in the path.
Please Provide the Permanent solution ,,even by giving IP address also all pages and Iviews must see..

Hi Sushma,
I am not sure if the same apply when you access the URL through the IP. The SAP BI works on the concept of Fully Qualified domain names for access and also there is a system of web dispatchers which are configured for the domain name to handle report requests.
Also with portal in place you will not be able to see the URL of the application running within portal
for example the URL we see are
ttp://<xyz>.com/irj/portal but then the individual URLs for the applications running within the portal cannot be seen...due to security reasons.
That could be the possible case.
Regarding Use of Portal at client place:
1. You can use the VPN connectivity. You will only need to give the access rights to the perticular id & that will be all.
2. Assign the portal port to the some global address. That will work.
But, I suggest, VPN is better.

Tax details are not showing in Form 16 ..India payroll

Hi Experts,
I have done all configurations with respect to India Payroll.But im unable to see follwing details in form 16.
A. Value of perquisites under section 17(2) are not showing in form 16.
B. Less: Allowance to the extent exempt under section 10 ....are not showing in Form 16.
C.Deductions under chapter 6A are not showing in form 16.
D.Total income .Tax on total income ,surcharge ,Tax payable are also not showing in form 16.
Probably i might have missed some important steps while configuring.Please tell and advice me to resolve the problem.Thank you very much.

Hi,
Firstly, check in the RT cluster table for the employee if the folowing wagetypes aare fetching values.
/416, /418, /130, /432.....few more for surcharge etc..but if the given wagetypes are fetching values, then other will also be caputured.
Also, did u maintain Tax infotypes 586, 585, 582 etc..
If yes, then problem can be with the confuguration of the wagetypes.
Please check the above and let us know...

Full picture photo shooting details does not show up

Normally when I shot a photo and in the photo viewing mode I can select "details" to see the full details of the captured photo such as shutter speed information. However, recently I found that the information does not show in full like in the past. The shutter speed an some other details are diappeared.
How can I bring this back

I have tried it in safe mode but still the details of the captured photo does not show in full. I have attached a screenshot with this post which you can see that the details are very short.
Also, I have tried also a factory reset but it does not work at all. Possibly the PC Companion repairing that I did it last time might had some unknown error due to my home Internet connection was not stable. So, the PC companion repairing version of software might be permanently modified into the factory software. So the the factory reset does not work.
Anyone has the same problem like me? or it is normal with the current Sony updated software. I am sure last 2 months ago when I bought Z3 it was not like this. And this is an annoying problem for me as I always use Z3 camera in manual mode and always make use of the first picture shooting details such as ISO, speed shutter, etc for re-shooting a second better photo.
Anyway, I will do a PC companion repairing again tomorrow morning, then I will post a result
Below is the screenshot that I shot a photo in safe mode using manual camera mode at 20.7 MP, auto ISO
Then I openned the gallery in safe mode and see the details of the captured photo. You can see that there is almost no important details.
There are only the width and height and then the flash is on or off.

New detail rows not showing

Here's a little background on my problem. We have a simple master-detail hierarchy. Both have a ViewObject. The problem lies in the fact that our detail VO has a filter using a bind variable. The bind variable value is determined (most of the time) at the VO execution time: bindParametersForCollection is overriden and passes a value for the bind variable if it is null. In our specific case the variable represents the username of the authenticated user.
The main complexity lies in the UI. We present all the masters and their children in a single table in edit mode. We are using a tree binding with an accessor from the master node to the child node.

In our use case, whenever we create a new master row, we also create a fixed number of detail rows. The number of detail rows depends on the context. Whenever we do this, the details rows do not show up in the UI.
In my experimentations, I found that the problem was caused by the bind variable on the detail VO. Tracing the detail VO query execution I came to the conclusion that unposted rows where rejected from the QueryCollection when there’s a bind variable. The debugger shows that in VO#executeQueryForCollection the QueryCollection#mUnpostedRows list is empty when there’s a bind variable while it is not when there’re no bind variable.
This is a major issue in our case, so I would like to know if you consider this as a bug (in my opinion it is). If yes, when can we expect a fix or workaround? Otherwise we’ll have to get around this problem by either finding a way to remove the bind variable OR do everything manually in a managed bean (which I would prefer not to have to do).
I have reproduced the problem in a SRDemo test case. Test case has been sent to Steve Muench.

This looks very similar to Bug# 6412612 "New Row Lost After Executequery In Vo W/ Bind Variable In Where Clause", reported in the Tech Preview #2 release, and fixed in Tech Preview #3 (due out before the end of December 2007). Will try confirming with an in-house TP3 build that this fix fixes your testcase, too.

Details Screen not showing up

Hi All
After I open a transaction on web ui, I see that the transaction opportunity details screen is not showing up. Only the Assignment block name is there but no details screen. How to correct this.

Yes I am using Z role and Z role config key.
The issue is I guess one of my colleague made changes in the std role key rather than copying the std key to custom key. Later on to fix it played around and then this issue came up.
Well, is there any way to reset the std key back to it's std configuration.

SPANISH BANK STATEMENT DETAIL REPORT NOT SHOWING TRANSACTIONS

We are having issue where the spanish version of a oracle report(RDF) is not showing some columns on the right side of the report
whereas the english version is showing all the columns.
We have checked the data,lookups and the trace files but they do not show any issue.

Firefox Details/Settings Not Showing

I open the application and it comes up just fine, but my computer is technically not showing that the application is open. I have a Mac, so the icon in the dock doesn't have the glowing circle underneath it that shows the program is open, and the bar at the top of my screen (where Finder is and where I could mess with setting specific to Firefox) isn't showing Firefox either.

So, I have this cool thing almost done and I get it close and then it goes blank in IE - FireFox is fine, Safari PC is blank, Chrome is blank too.

No clue, as its something that your jQuery plugin does. Probably some CSS issue. I suggest you post that issue in the jQuery tools forum.

File Navigator Not showing partitioned drive

In the File Navigator, I see all of my drives except one.
I have my F: drive mapped to a second partition on my hard drive. It is a primary, NTFS partition, but just doesn't show up as a drive (although Windows Explorer does show it -- ie, it's not a hidden partition).

Just trying to raise awareness for my charity -- the "Please Show Me all of my Partitions Fund"
It has been set up to benefit those of us who have been deprived of a partition in our File Navigator.

The calendar details will not show and gmail is asking for a password. Also, event notifications fro calendar can not be deleted.

A Gmail message pops up each time I open Thunderbird asking for a password. Once I try and enter a password the calendar just shows days not details. I cannot delete events that have happened when they pop up either.

This is an ongoing issue, a few people have had very similar problems since yesterday 9th october. My calendar as been wiped clean and only events written as of yesterday seem to sync, everything else past and future events written before yesterday are no longer on my Tbird/lightning calendar. Thankfully they are still on my google calendar online and synced to my phone so this is an issue between Tbird/lightning/google rovider and google itself. maybe an update has not been checked for compatibility. You are not the only one with this problem.

Managed Metadata Navigation not showing to users

I created a Managed Metadata service and created group, term-set and terms
I gave full access to application pool service account. read access to all the users via AD Security Group.
I set up navigation to use Managed Navigation (Managed Metadata Service).
I am logged-in as farm admin and able to view the navigation when i browse site. But user are not seeing navigation.
i went to the hidden taxonomy list and gave read access to all users. but this didn't help.
One thing i noticed is when i give users full access or designer access to site they will be able to see the navigation. but i don't want to give all users full access or designer access to the site.
Am i missing anything here? Please help!!!!

According to your description, you have created a Managed Metadata service and created group, term-set and terms, but the users who have read access, were not seeing the navigation.
How did you grant the read access to the users? By a group or directly?
For resolving your issue, please add the users to the site Visitor group, and compare the result.
