Details not recognised by ipad

I have an iPad 4 and iPod Touch 5.   I had Sky  Go installed and fully operational on both units.  Now when trying to watch, say sport, on the iPad all I get is a continuous straming/buffering/searching circle in the middle of the screen.  Never connects. The iPod Touch works fine. I've deleted and re-installed the app of the iPad but now it won't accept my Sky ID and/or password. !?! Via the ipod settings/manage devices I removed the ipad (listed as tablet whereas ipod is list as ios).  Now I have only 1 device registered and can't seem to get 2nd device rgistered (again) Can any one provide explanation/solution to my problem.

For this part of the problem:
I've deleted and re-installed the app of the iPad but now it won't accept my Sky ID and/or password. !?!
Via the ipod settings/manage devices I removed the ipad (listed as tablet whereas ipod is list as ios).  Now I have only 1 device registered and can't seem to get 2nd device rgistered (again)
Can any one provide explanation/solution to my problem.
The last thing you should do is delete the registration for the device no matter what problems you are having as this could mean you would have to wait until the start of the next month if you have previously registered a device this month so this might be why you are unable to register it again.
Regarding the buffering problem, when removing the app did you reboot your iPad frst before installing it again ?

You need to either upgrade your computer to Mac OS X 10.6 or download the content directly from Apple's servers instead of your computer; for content not purchased from iTunes, the second option requires signing up for iTunes Match.

I'm not sure if it charged when I hooked it up to my roommate's computer, but it definately didn't register either. If I put it on the dock it plays so the port is fine, but that still doesn't help me sync it to my computer.

  • My itunes account is not recognising my ipad when I connect it to my computer. I have followed the Apple troubleshooter for this but with no success.

My iTunes account is not recognising that I have plugged in my iPad to the computer. Other devices, such as my iPhone, are being recognised, but not the iPad. I have tried the Apple troubleshooter for this problem but it didn't help. ie I've restarted itunes, restarted iPad, reinstalled iTunes, etc. Any ideas?

  • New iPad user; confused after apple ID change of password and email address. New details NOT recognised by iCloud and actual iPad? Help! Thank you

I'm new to my iPad & Apple!
I have updated/ changed details within my Apple ID; email, contact details and changed password.
This has worked & recognised when using updated password for use with Apple's web site (e.g. Able to login to this site) & all other apps with the EXCEPTION of iCloud and also my actual iPad ("internal/own" software/OS I would presume?!).
Shortly after turning my iPad on, the Apple ID request pops up showing my old email address. I have tried entering old & new passwords which both fail. I now cancel this request and continue ok.
This also happens with iCloud: as just mentioned, the request for Apple ID comes up with old email address and neither old or new passwords are accepted (& therefore I can not back-up to iCloud).
    Can anyone help please?
    With anticipated appreciation and thanks,
    NJohnR
(Maybe I should mention that while I live in the UK; Scotland, I am currently on holiday in France while I have made further changes to my ID password, though was at home when made initial changes).

    I have resolved this problem!
I try &change my email details within my iPad's iCloud settings. Though the primary (old) email could not be changed.
So I took advice from further searches here & on the iCloud site & went ahead and deleted my iCloud account. Success! Immediately after deleting the account I had a request to open & login to a new iCloud account with my new Apple ID login details already there (showing my new email address & requesting my password- all which worked fine). Also I have not lost any files.
I hope that this may help someone else in the future.
    Happy Appleing all

  • I am trying to connect my iPad to my windows pc ( xp) but it does not recognise the iPad and I get a blue screen error causing the pc to shut down. Any ideas

I am still not able to connect my iPad 2 to my Pc ( windows xp). When I try to do so I get a blue screen error and the computer shuts down. I have reinstalled iTunes. iPod works fine. Any ideas?

    Not sure, but try these.
Disable your firewall and anitvirus software temporarily.
Restart the iPad by holding down on the Sleep button until the red slider appears and then slide to shut Off. To power up hold the Sleep button until the Apple logo appears and let go of the button.
Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time (for about 10-15 seconds) until the Apple logo appears (ignore the red slider), then let go of the buttons.

  • Login details not recognised

Almost every time I try to login to iTunes, it comes up saying it's the wrong details. This happens so often I've taken to writing the details down just to make sure I'm entering it right. Each time I have to change it I update where I've written it down. Anyway, after changing it, I go to login again on iTunes and I get the same message!!!!! It's like the changes never actually take effect, even though I've been able to login in to iCloud with them! Any help will be much appreciated. So sick of this, if it keeps happening I think I'll just get rid of the account completely. Thanks in advance.

I have followed the instructions around windows 7 not recognising my ipad and it has led me here.
It was recognised the first time I connected, but not since.
The only thing I'm not sure about is conflicting programs that may have an affect. I am with Virginmedia and use their in house security program.
    Any help would be useful

  • Itunes does not recognise ipad or iphone after window 8.1 patch May 2014

Last week my laptop did a patch update to windows 8.1 and now  Itunes does not recognise  my ipad or iphone when i plug them into the USB ports.
The devices do ask "to trust the computer" and Windows itself reconises the ipad and iphone and i can get to files on the apple products through windows but itunes doesnt see them and therefore doesnt sync  therefore i cant download music onto my phone etc.
Ps i did uninstall itunes and reinstalled but this didnt work.  Although after reading about other people with similar  issues on past window updates I think  I may need to uninstall all apple software .
I have an old Ipod 5G that works fine with Itunes.
Anybody with similar issues and a plan to get this sorted ?...... as i need music on my phone for holiday !!
