Details of Rollout Project

I want to what is a Rollout Project.
In this a Development i.e Custom Programs need to be developed.
Or is it a modification to a standard programs.
Could you please give me details of it.

Often the big groups have implemented SAP system only for certain companies of the group, when it wants to implement it for a new company it adapts an old SAP just implemented for the other companies.
This "adapting" process is the rollout project, so the main difference is it uses a system just customized.

Stage 1: Project Preparation
Stage 2: Business Blueprint

Stage 1-Project preparation
The core activities of this project include:
Establish project teams
Conduct kick-off meeting to confirm the project scope

Rollout Roadmap
The Rollout Roadmap has as its goal the creation of a local productive reference system and, in the case of distributed systems, the provision of a link to a central productive system in order to, for example, set up and maintain R/3 master records.
The Rollout Roadmap speeds up the implementation process in the local units, so that depending on the enterprise's requirements entire implementation series can be carried out. Redundant project activities can thus be pinpointed and avoided. The advantages of this roadmap are:
The realization of groupwide implementation standards, through an efficient rollout in the local units
A rollback procedure for the exchange of general experiences, which can then be incorporated into the template. In this way the changes are passed on to the local units quickly and comprehensively.

2) You have to extend your material in new plant
3) check your material type update for quantity and value update for your new plant in t-code OMS2

Implementation project - what we do from the scratch
the functional consultant roll will be studing there AS-IS study ,customize,user training ,go-live and support
( these varies from company to company)
Support project - Implementation over and which are not covered in implementation or something which has been missed (Scenarios) will be doing in the support project.
Roll Out Project - Already exsisiting configurations will be extended to a new company code / Plant .

om pa global rollout project for 6 countries, i have 6 company codes. how can i maintain number ranges for om objects with 6 company codes.
company code1     : om object number ranges from 1 to 10
company code2     : om object number ranges from 11 to 20
company code3     : om object number ranges from 21 to30
co code 4               : om object number ranges from 31 to 40
co code 5               : om object number ranges from 41 to 50

Hi Anand,
Standard SAP doesn't allow to differentiate between organizational numbers at company codes level. I think you would need to build user exit for the same.
SPRO> Personnel Management > Organizational Management > Basic Settings > Maintain Number Ranges > Customer Enhancement (User Exit): Individual Number Assignment

Unable open Project details or a project from PWA Project server 2010 with Alias name

Hi,
I am unable to open the Projects from Project center with the Alias name with the server name i am able to open the projects, version is project server 2010,
My system is ABC.DC.IN alias name i have given is DEF.AD.COM
With the system name i can able access PWA and all are working fine.
As i have observed with alias name i can able to login to pwa and all the server setting approval center all are working fine but only in the project center i am not able to open the projects (http://DEF.AD.COM/pwa/ProjectDrillDown.aspx .xxxx)
its is coming in the below of the ie.
But with Alias name these are the issues i am facing,
1.when longing with alias name its asking two times for user name and password
2.when i click on a project from project center its taking some time and asking for user name and password after i enter user name and password "PAGE cannot displayed" error i am getting.
can any one Help me.

name password again if click on any project in project center and and showing page cannot be displayed error.

Aging report - detailed needs invoice project code

Dear All,
Would it be possible for us to have project code (on A/R invoice header) on Aging report - detailed print layout? I found all fields in Aging report - detailed PLD are sys var. Is there a way for us to figure out which sys var is for project code of the invoice? Thanks a lot.

Unfortunately you can't, you have to recreate it using crystal. In all SAP std reports you only able to show/print what it already shows.

Report: user/systems status with change details for a project

I am aware of CN41N/CN43N transaction.
Is there a way to pull a report for a project with system status, user status and the details of who made the changes with date and time???

If you have change documents active for status management and project profile then you can get the data from JCDS table directly (changed status and who changed it). Note that you will get the status in SAP internal code and you need to refer TCJ30 table for status.

Forwarding to Budget Line details in Oracle Project from Custom Page

Actually we have a custom page which lists all the projects, our idea is to navigate the user from project line to the Oracle Project's Budget Line Details Page to show project header information and budget line details. I cannot directly forward to the page because its different application, so do we need to extend the custom application to oracle projects. Can anyone suggest me best way to follow so that we an set required session variable and initialise view object which required for Budget line details page.

I don't want to dynamically display the attribute.
As we can see there are existing attributes in the shuttle list , so we can shuttle whichever attribute we want to display.
I need to add my attribute to this list and I am not getting idea as to how and which VO i need to substitute to get the attirbute in this list, once I can get this attribute I hope it'll be displayed in the search page once we shuttle this attribute to the display list. Let me know if i am wrong.
Also, I tried to find the VO behind both the pages, for CustomJRADViewUpdatePG.xml there are no VOs to check for and only in MyProjectsPG , I found out ProjectListGenVO, so is this the one i need to substitute with?

I recommend you consider Omnifocus. It is a task management program which runs on the Mac, Iphone & Ipad. I use it for task management and project management. It let's you store additional information as well. I sync all three devices through a Mobile Me account and I can enter data on any device and it is available on all devices. I believe you can also sync through Dropbox. I'm not sure that you can sync through iCloud yet. The link to their website is: www.omnigroup.com. There may be less expensive alternatives, but this one meets my needs and syncs very well across all devices.
