Detecting Infrared (IR) receiver with XP

I recently switched to MacBook and installed Windows XP due to compatibility issue. I use Polar Precision Performance, an exercise dairy and analysis software that only runs on Windows.
Transferring exercise data from a heart rate monitor to computer requires infrared receiver. However, Windows XP does not detect IR available on my Mac.
Does anyone know what could be a problem and how to solve it?

The problem is that Windows probably requires a driver for IR port, which does not exist.

It is the Page Tweak Add-on... It is what has the Textarea Backup. I removed it and my facebook works fine now.

New to the community here, thanks for your patience. I recently purchased an Onkyo TX-8050 Network Stereo Receiver with the UWF-1 USB adapter with the intent to stream audio from my MacBook Pro to the stereo. I have gone through the setup instructions for the adapter and the receiver gives me a message saying that it is connected to the password protected network, but that is as far as I can get.
I have gone into iTunes and clicked on the "Open Stream" option, but I just get a pop up box labeled "URL" that is empty. I have Home Sharing turned on and File Sharing turned on, but I am not seeing the receiver in my Finder window or as a iTunes device.
I would appreciate any and all advice and assistance.

Fortunately, AirPlay does not cost anything as it is a streaming protocol used by Apple. Currently, the AirPort Express and Apple TV are AirPlay-ready. A number of other companies, like JBL, iHome, Denon and Klipsch are also rumored to be working on AirPlay versions of their products.
Your other option would be to get an AirPort Express and connect it to your Onkyo analog or optical digital audio input and stream from iTunes that way. I currently do this with my 10+ year old Harmon Kardon HT receiver.

FMLE 3.2 and 3.1 can't detect an audio device with Windows 8.1

FMLE 3.2 and 3.1 can't detect an audio device with Windows 8.1 x64 on an MSI GT72-2QD laptop. I tried 2 different webcams but the result was the same. Both the internal mic and the ones going with the webcams work fine with other software but when I try FMLE it looks as follows:
It says that there's no audio device connected (although the mics work fine elsewhere), the dropout is blank and the audio parameters are grayed out and inactive even with the "audio" box checked. Both versions of FMLE work fine with the same cams on a desktop which has all the same tech specs but uses Win 7 x64. Running FMLE in Win7 compatibility mode or reinstalling with register cleaning doesn't help. What can be done about it?

Thanks for the advice. It succeeded.
The steps I made was to make a disk copy of my original Windows XP disk using Disk Utilty. Then I renamed the disk copy into .iso. I copied the ISO file to my usb flash drive.
Than I started Parallels 7, created a new VM, selected the correct drive to install from (the usb flash drive) and volia, it worked.

I see at least 3 errors
1. <RegionRenderer> <encodeAll> The region component with id: pt1:r1 has detected a page fragment with multiple root components.
the page fragment should only have a single component under the jsp:root tag. If you see more than one, wrap them in e.g. an af:panelGroupLayout or af:group component
2. SAPFunction.jspx/.xml" has an invalid character ".".
check the document (you can open it in JDeveloper if the customization was a seeded one. Seems that editing this file smething has gone bad
3. The expression "#{bindings..regionModel}" (that was specified for the RegionModel "value" attribute of the region component with id "pePanel") evaluated to null.
"pageeditorpanel" does seem to be missing in the PageDef file of the page holding the region

Hello Experts,
I am loading Budget Period (attributes) into PSA in BI.
Budget Period data Loading Issue : No data available while loading. But source system ie ECC has data in that data source
Data source: 0PU_BDGTID_ATTR
This is full load.
I checked that whether I am making any mistake during data selection. I could not find any issue. Message while loading data into PSA (Yellow Traffic light)
No data available
Diagnosis
The data request was a full update.
In this case, the corresponding table in the source system does not
contain any data.
System Response
Info IDoc received with status 8.
Procedure
Check the data basis in the source system.
Already looked this thread and googled also.
Re: IDoc received with status 8.
Check points:
sm58 - NO issue
BD87 in ECC (RSINFO Idoc status: 03) -sucessful
BD87 in BI (RSINFO Idoc status : 53)
ST22 - NO issue
sm37 - Job is successful (I could see Idoc no in ECC source system in Job log)
I am not sure if I am missing any thing.

Hi all,
I've got exactly the same issue with several extractors. I'm inialising the Master Data in a all new system, in the Quality the loads succeeded but in Prod it failed.
For instance with the basic DataSource "0FUNCT_LOC_TEXT", I've made the following test:
RS3 (R/3) - > 0 data
ST22 -> no short dump
WE05 (Idoc) - > everything is ok
I reactivated the Datasource in R/3 (RSA5) and then deleted it and replicated it in BW but the same issue occured.
Any ideas?

File content conversion Receiver with no key fields

I have a header structure with four fields all varying and also item structure with varying fields .. how do i go about to solve this .. as the regular Content Conversion uses key fields.. but there are no such key fields here... kindly help in this regard to proceed

If you dont have a key field, then the only option to read the file and convert it to XML would be in a record row format.
Here each line will go as one field in the XML. You will have to use some logic in your mapping to extract the right field.

but in case your is a receiver File adapter then key fields are not required.

Regarding TB & RECEIVABLES WITH PROFIT CENTRE report

Some enteries were posted in null profit center, which I corrected by updating FAGLFLEXA table. Now S_AC0_52000887 (RECEIVABLES WITH PROFIT CENTRE) is giving correct report but same is not afftected in S_PL0_86000030 (G/L Account Balance). How do I do? Kindly suggest.

You can try using Financial Report Templates.
Create a new template for Profit and Loss Report that meets your reporting requirements.
Quick start to creating financial report template:
1. Goto Financials -> Financials Report Templates
2. In Financial Report Templates form -> Select Report {Profit and Loss} -> in Template {Select New and give a name for template}
3. Click on Generate Chart of Account Template
4.1. Right click on the selected account title -> choose Remove (or) choose Advanced -> Delete Account (to delete specific accounts)
4.2. (or) Select an account title and click Hide Accounts
5. You can create subtotals also
After creating a financial template, while generating profit and loss report, select newly created template.

I am getting a warning on the standalone WLS when I run my page that contains a taskflow as region. I am using a page fragment in my taskflow.

The warning states the obvious, I have everything within a panelheader in my page fragment. Also, I do not get the warning on the integrated WLS. Any ideas as to why this warning is still popping up in the log? I am using JDev 11.1.1.3.

I updated to Firefox 8.0 for Mac and when ever I try to log on to Facebook I get this error message Textarea Backup] Existing text detected in 'add_comment_text', overwrite with this backup? and then it says yes and gives you the choice of either canceling or ok and it doesn't go away when you click either button...What is going on?

It is working now. I no longer get the message about the item not being available in the US and I can access the store.
