Deteriorat​ion by installing new firmware from hp support

hi one week ago i looked for my hp printer driver from hp support site
i found it from hp site and i see new firmware and other new file so i download all of them and after download is complite i install all of the file i can download
i test my printer and scaner and coppy ,evey things are good and worked
after aweek i want to use my printer and i saw a bad Failure
when i turn on the printer , lcd of it doesnt turn on and the network link doesnt up from my router
i connect via usb cable and i see my cumputer could not found th printer!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
i think my problem in software problem and i  want to help me

I see by your post that the LCD doesn't turn on, I believe you meant to say that there is no light for the Ethernet connection to the router and the printer isn't being recognized by a USB connection. This is a week after doing the firmware update on the printer. I can help you with this.
I would do a hard reset to see if that will resolve the issue.
Leave the printer on and unplug the power cable from the printer and wall outlet for 60 seconds.
Then reconnect the power cable to the printer and wall outlet rather than a surge protector.
This ensures the printer is receiving full power and may help this situation.
Please check your private messages for additional steps to try.

    No, the firmware updates will come from your network, so it would not be unlocked. The firmware is installed via the Ovi Suite software or directly on your phone.

    Well I was able to obtain a work around download of Flash and it installed fine but Firefox tells me it needs updating so I go out, thinking I'm "IN" finally to update it and I get that issue of not being able to get the update for it.  It's a regular laptop, not a touch screen or one of those new fangled ones for todays world.  In fact it's a refurb so it's probably origin date was a year or so ago before all this MS stuff took off fully.  So not understanding why I'm feeling like I'm being BLOCKED from getting the updated Flash I need and desire.  If I click on the little "X" and tell it to ignore the warning the vid will play just fine but don't want to have to do that every time.  Must be a better way. 
    Again, I'm sorry for posting in the wrong forum, getting this posted in the Flash forum was my desire but the way Adobe has this set up I just couldn't figure it out.  I belong to ALLOT of forums and most are pretty straight forward but this one is confusing!

    Check and see what OS you have.  Go to your STATUS  icon > then ABOUT  > on the third line down it should tell you 4.x.x.xx  I think you will need the 4.5 OS . (operating system)

    Okay, I'm having the same DNS problems that everyone else seems to be having with this router. Wireless devices work fine, but my desk PC consistently fails to connect. If one of the wireless devices is actively sending/receiving packets, my desk machine works fine. I have a WRT160N v2 and the firmware version is 2.0.02, build 11 (the notorious one). My PC is a Vista 64 bit OS.
    I saw they have a new version of the firmware (2.0.03), which I have downloaded (to hdd). Can anyone explain (in step by step, simple terms) how this ignoramus can install the new firmware (assuming of course, that this new version will solve my connection problems).     Upgrading the firmware resolves many problem, so you can try it...
    In the address bar type - 192.168.1.1...Leave the Username blank & in Password use admin in lower case...
    Click on the 'Administration' tab- Then click on the 'Firmware Upgrade' sub tab- Here click on 'Browse' and browse the .bin firmware file and click on "Upgrade"...Wait for few seconds until it shows that "Upgrade is successful" 
    Now reset your router.....Press and hold the reset button for 30 seconds...Release the reset button...Unplug the power cable from your router, wait for 30 seconds and re-connect the power cable...Now re-configure your router...

    When connect new Cisco IPT 7962 to our call manage and make reset phone to force IPT install Firmware from call manager the phone cant take the firmware and system crashed the cisco logo appear on screen only .
    After that i am download the "cmterm-7942_7962-sccp.9-2-1SR2.cop" from cisco and upload this pack to call manage and reset TFTP Service.
    IPT 7942 Take the New Firmware Successfully But still the problem in Cisco IPT 7962 the phone still appear Cisco Logo only.
    How I can Solve this Problem

    Hi,
    If only one 7962 is affected you can try a factory reset using the following steps, else try connecting this 7962 to the switchport where a working 7942 is connected and see if it changes anything.
    Unplug the power cable from the phone and then plug it back in. The phone begins its power up cycle.
    While the phone is powering up, and before the Speaker button flashes on and off, press and hold #. Continue to hold # until each line button flashes on and off in sequence in amber.
    Release # and press 123456789*0#.

  • Installed new firmware n95 8gb, installing bug on ...

    Hey Guys
    I bought this phone a year and a half ago and haven't update firmware since then. I am going on vacation tomorrow, so I thought it would be a good idea to update it just in case :/
    First of all, the backup gets stuck on 81 percent... but after I receive a sms it says it's completed. So i get down to installing the new firmwar... 31.0.0.5 and I install it. 
    When I run my phone, it's ok for 1-2 sec and then an installing notification pops-up along with the bar (never ending) and it just stays there... and the phone freezes up and I have to wait like 5 minutes to unlock the keypad because of this... I tried reinstalling the firmware... same problem...
    Any idea what this is and how I can fix it? I am going away on vacation tomorrow and I would really like to have a usable phone :/ Any tips, advice?

    well generally, you have to let it do its thing. it is either memory card or mass memory of your phone that has apps that your phone is trying to index. it is normal and sometimes take a long while depending on how much stuff you actually have on those memories.

    Hi Nokia!
    When are you rewarding Mac users who stuck it out with you guys and didn't jump on the iphone bandwagon? Up till now, we only have isync and that trashy multi media transfer software from beta labs. How about a complete pc suite and the ability to upgrade firmware? That would be a nice Christmas present for all mac users, huh...what do you say? I personally have had nokia phones from day 1 and I now have an n95-1.
    I would like to upgrade to v20 but I have two issues:
    1.) my product code 0548986 doesn't support the upgrade YET and;
    2.) I'm a mac user.
    So were does that leave me....hey the iphone!

    I usually do the update of firmware thru internet using NSU. You don't have to drop at the NSC's just to update your phone. I visit only this centers if I'm going to buy accessories for my phone.

    Hey all i just got an ipod touch 8GB from a friend who got an iphone so i wanted to upgrade its firmware to 3.1.3 i paid the 5 bucks or whatever to download it and itunes is giving me this **** message saying it cant even download the files for it. it gives me error 1479 and the more information that pops up when you click the button is completely useless. This is my first apple product so far, i got it for free and i paid for the upgrade instead of just downloading it off a torrent site, any clues on why this thing isn't working? I'm using the latest iTunes 9 just installed it fresh off apple's website
    Edit: also restoring gives me the exact same error number 1479 i cant do anything.

    When doing OS updates on a PC, it is advised to turn off anti-virus and firewalls until the download is complete and the firmware is installed. Given the state of some of the PC security programs, you may have to disable and reboot before beginning your download/install.

    Noticed this when loading 1.1.1 weeks ago and now 1.1.2. Several times during the download/installation process, I lost my network connection. Rebooting the PC restored it, only to have it go down again, requiring another reboot. Required several PC (not iPhone) reboots to be able to complete the process. This happens only during this process -- I otherwise never lose my network connection and always enjoy super speed. Paid it no mind and dismissed as a fluke during 1.1.1 upload, but was surprised to see it again this time. In both cases the final download and install worked perfectly. It's just a time-consuming hassle -- kinda weird -- thx much in advance for any clues about this...

    It appears the problem appears only when using torrent software.
    There is a lot of discussion on different torrent software forums about this, and directions on how to get around this issue. However with my skills I only managed to get Vuze to work properly while killing the network access from all other application. So i just went back to default settings.
    I give up for now, I'll wait until Apple releases OS X update that works together with these programs (like it did in tiger and earlier versions..) or if it's even possible, one of the programs finds a way to get around this issue.
